I am not going to tell you what are those 2 senses once after you master your self you will only come to know about it&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As a human being, we do have unique ability to use 5 senses;taste, touch, see, hear, and smell. All five senses play important roles in connecting ourselves to oneself. Realizing ways to really connect all aspects of body, mind, and soul(spirit) together at once within yourself, is to MEDITATE. I personally practice yoga to find myself within myself. I am going to focus on its beneficial effects of meditation, its sensation, how our senses are being effected while in a meditative state, and the importance of breathing patterns.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Justy follow these few few steps that I have mentioned it to you&lt;br /&gt;Just take a moment any time you remember to do so - on the subway, in the shower, eating a meal, on the phone, out in nature....The trick is just to keep remembering to bring yourself back into a moment of being in all your senses...and when you forget again--that's ok--just catch yourself and experience the process all over again.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Become aware of your body in space ie whether you are standing, sitting, talking, laying down, walking, and so forth. See what part of your body you feel most easily. Next, notice your breath is it deep or shallow, in your chest, belly, or both? Nothing to change, just feel yourself breathing...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then, become aware of your eyesight as you stay connected to your body sensations and your breath. Really look around you. Observe the richness of your eyesight, the vibrance of the colors of everything in your realm of vision. Meditation is also the ultimate brain workout&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The goal of meditation is not to have no thoughts (that is impossible) but to not interact with the thoughts that occur. If, while you are meditating, you start wondering when was the last time you changed the oil in your car, that is perfectly normal -- just come back to your breathing and try not to 'chase' the thought.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;how you can practice meditation for health&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Find a place where you can meditate that's free of noise and other disruptions&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Get comfortable. Many yoga classes around the world feature some aspect of pranayama, depending on the philosophy of the class and the skill level of the students.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To most, control of breath is Pranayama. However, this is a result of wrong interpretation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For a rightful interpretation, it must be understood that 'prana' is an energy or life force that is universal in nature - it is omnipresent. A portion of that prana is also present in the human body. It flows at a superficial level to maintain the body and its organs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The goal of Pranayama is to increase the quantum of this life force (Prana) so that it can reach out to 'hidden' recesses of the brain. This helps in expanding the human faculties and retarding degeneration.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is extremely important to remember that advanced pranayama techniques can be dangerous, especially for people with certain health conditions. As a result, it is strongly recommended to only practice pranayama under the supervision of a guru or experienced yogi, and health conditions and issues should be clearly communicated beforehand. You may also want to discuss pranayama with your doctor, who can talk about which pranayama techniques will be safe for you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bhastrika Pranayam&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Sit in comfortable position; you may sit even on a chair.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Breathe in until the lungs are full through your nostrils.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Feel the diaphragm move down to allow the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out, followed by the mid section of your chest expanding andfinally your collar bone rising.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Breathe out forcefully and uniformly, again through your nostrils.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Again feel the collarbone dropping, chest deflating and the diaphragm moving up as the lungs collapse allowing the abdomen to be sucked in. This process of&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Exhaling should be much faster than the process of inhaling.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Repeat the process.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5. When correctly done, your chest will expand when you breathe in and deflate when you breathe out.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6. Continue doing this for 5 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Benefits of Pranayama Practice&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Depending on the intensity of the ailment a person doing regular Pranayam starts getting good results from day one. Composed of six parts otherwise called ‘meditations’, Descartes Meditation describes in detail the philosophical thoughts and principles of Rene Descartes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the first piece of Descartes &lt;a href="http://www.divinemagic.org/2009/01/meditation.html"&gt;meditation&lt;/a&gt;, Descartes attempts to reanalyse the beliefs he has held since his childhood in order to establish truth in science. He forms a sceptical belief or hypotheses about everything in the physical world and decides to suspend his theory or judgement on his previously held beliefs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the second part of Descartes &lt;a href="http://www.divinemagic.org/2009/01/meditation.html"&gt;meditation&lt;/a&gt;, which expounds Descartes theory on the ‘nature of human mind’, Descartes questions his identity, the eternal ‘I’, and introduces a theory of representationalism, and lays down the thought that ‘one’s consciousness implies one’s existence’.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Descartes, in his third part of Descartes Meditation, discusses that there are three main categories of thoughts such as&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;volitions&lt;br /&gt;affections and&lt;br /&gt;judgements&lt;br /&gt;and propounds that there are two main cause and effect relationships within classes of thought. He states that the two cause and effect relationship within such classes of thought include:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;whether our thoughts do not deceive us or&lt;br /&gt;whether we are deceived by our thoughts&lt;br /&gt;Furthermore, Descartes, after analysis of such aforementioned classes of thought, also establishes the existence of ‘I’ and God.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the fourth part of Descartes Meditation, which is also known as the &lt;a href="http://www.divinemagic.org/2009/01/meditation.html"&gt;meditation&lt;/a&gt; ‘on truth and falsity’, Descartes raises the question that if God who is perfect is the source of all on earth, then why is there falsehood or wrong doings in this world. Analysing his theories, Descartes realises that although God is perfect and has given him a special ability to judge, still his power of judgement, especially of the truth, is not infinite.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Descartes also holds that he errs and is limited in judging the truth because he has limited knowledge which prevents him from understanding why God has created him in a way in which he makes mistakes. He further opines that his inability to understand the way of his creation and understanding of truth stems from a gap between understanding and will.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the fifth part of Descartes &lt;a href="http://www.divinemagic.org/2009/01/meditation.html"&gt;meditation&lt;/a&gt;, Descartes proposes that his knowledge about truth and everything else comes from God.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the sixth part of Descartes Meditation, Descartes holds that there are other objects and materials which exist outside our ‘self’ and recognises the distinction between mind and body. He concludes by establishing the identity and existence of three things: self, God, and other material objects. According to Descartes, these three things make up what we call ‘reality’.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Christian Meditation&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;What is Christian meditation?&lt;br /&gt;Answer: The biblical passages that use the phrase "Christian meditation" are few. Both words "meditate" and "&lt;a href="http://www.divinemagic.org/2009/01/meditation.html"&gt;meditation&lt;/a&gt;" are found about eighteen times in the Old Testament. There are basically two Hebrew words which are translated "meditate," found in Genesis 24:63; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:2; 63:6; 77:12; 119:15, 23, 48, 148; and 143:5. The Hebrew word "hagah" is given the meaning in the context of these verses to "ponder, imagine, meditate, mourn, speak, study, talk, utter, etc." Further meaning of meditation is given in the Hebrew word "aiyach" when it is used to mean "to ponder, to converse with oneself, and hence aloud; to utter or commune, complain, declare, meditate, muse, pray, speak, talk with (God in prayer, etc.) or it could be with another believer or group of believers--speaking one's thoughts about a passage of Scripture or words to a hymn, etc.&lt;br /&gt;The word meditation is used in Psalm 5:1; 19:14; 49:3; 104:34; 119:97, 99. A familiar verse in Psalm 19:14 states, "Let the words of my mouth, and the &lt;a href="http://www.divinemagic.org/2009/01/meditation.html"&gt;meditation&lt;/a&gt; of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight..." He asks that his words and thoughts be equal. The Greek word used is "meletao" which means "to take care of" or "resolve in your mind" to do these things. This verse is 1 Timothy 4:15: "Meditate upon these things (preceding verses): give thyself wholly to them;..." Paul clarifies the words "save thyself...and others" in verse 16. "Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee." Taking heed unto the Word of God (doctrine), you will not be "giving heed...to doctrines of devils" (verse 1). This seems to be the contextual meaning of "save thyself." The hearers also will be saved from "giving heed to seducing spirits."&lt;br /&gt;As you can see, then, true Christian &lt;a href="http://www.divinemagic.org/2009/01/meditation.html"&gt;meditation&lt;/a&gt; is an active thought (thinking, resolving) process whereby one gives himself to study of the Word, praying over it, asking God to give you understanding by the Spirit, putting it into practice in daily life, and allowing it (the Scriptures) become the rule for life and practice as you go about your daily activities. This causes spiritual growth and maturing in the things of God as taught you by His Holy Spirit indwelling you as a believer.&lt;br /&gt;May your Christian Meditation bless you with love and peace of mind.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Vipassana Meditation&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div&gt;Vipassana, one of the oldest techniques of &lt;a href="http://www.divinemagic.org/2009/01/meditation.html"&gt;meditation&lt;/a&gt; practiced in India, was rediscovered by the Gautama the Buddha around 2500 years ago. He taught this technique for about 45 years to his disciples and freed them from the bondage of pain, suffering and fear. Over the time his disciples carried the technique over to the neighboring counties such as Myanmar—erstwhile Burma, Sri Lanka, Thailand and so on. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The knowledge of the technique of Vipassana, however, disappeared from India nearly five centuries after Buddha. The torch lit by the Buddha was kept alive by some of his devoted disciples in other countries particularly Burma. The teachings of Vipassana were preserved by a chain of devoted teachers and they were transferred to the dedicated lineage of successive generations in their pristine purity. The modern teacher of the technique of Vipassana , Mr, S, N. Goenka, was born and bred in Burma. It was here that he was fortunate enough to learn the technique from his Burmese teacher Sayagyi U Ba Khin, a high Government official of his time. Later on Mr. Goenka shifted to India and started teaching the technique of Vipassana in 1969. Since then he has taught this invaluable art of living to thousands of people of all races and communities in India and abroad. Underneath all the trappings of dyed hair, make up, etc we are basically just skulls. In truth, all of these things are representations of ourselves that we have created in order to feed the illusion of separateness. In reality however, we are all one, and there is no separation. I believe the skulls are here, in part, to remind us of that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hold you crystal skull in any way that is comfortable for you and in which direction seems correct. If you are sitting, the skull might be positioned in your lap. If you are lying down, the skull might be positioned either by your side or on top of part of your body. Listening to peaceful and soothing music can serve to amplify the energy of the meditation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Take a minute or two to do a relaxation or breathing exercise. When you are ready, see a beam of light come from the main antenna (that extends upwards to infinity) and touch your skull in its third eye. As the energy begins to build between you and your skull, focus on feeling a loving and peaceful energy inside of you. We find that visualizing this energy from the antenna in a pink color is helpful.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When you feel ready, begin to send this powerful but harmonious energy out of your body into your room. Wait for a few moments before you continue, then into your home, out into the city where you live, in the provincial area where you live. See this loving energy fill your entire country. Finally, watch as this loving and peaceful energy covers the entire planet, touching all the living beings that inhabit our beautiful Mother Earth.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before you return to your body (coming back the same path you traveled out / from the planet, to your country, to your provincial area, etc ....) pick one location on the planet that you feel drawn to that has great unrest or could use the most the loving energy we have generated for this mediation, sending this place a little extra light, love and healing energy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For some people this meditation can be very powerful. You may have some interesting visions. You may need a few minutes to re-ground yourself following the meditation. As you participate, it will help to energize and activate your own crystal skull.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The goal of this meditation is to send out a loving and peaceful energy to our world which will then be further amplified by the energy of the skulls. The origin of crystal skulls can tend to be a rather mysterious topic. Skulls have been one of the most powerful objects of symbolism in human history, all over the world. Most popular legends speak of 13 ancient crystal skulls, who when reunited will bring about a profound beneficial transformation on Earth, although the actual numbers vary from legend to legend. Finally, in the interior of the skull was a ribbon prism and tiny light tunnels, by which objects held beneath the skull could be magnified and brightened. As a result, when placed upon a source of light, the skull acquired glowing eyes and appeared to be on fire.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yet the origins and the manufacturing of the skulls remain inexplicable. World Mystery Research Center reports that several of ancient skulls have been brought to Hewlett-Packard, located in the San Francisco area. Yes, it’s not only possible but proven too. In fact leading cardiac experts are advocating the benefits of “correct” breathing to their patients.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Surprising as it is, almost none of us use the full capacity of our respiratory organs. This is aggravated by our sedentary lifestyles and leads to several complications popularly called - lifestyle disorders.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The first question that comes to mind is – “How can I alter my natural breathing process?” Well, astonishing as it may seem, it’s true. By training our body to breathe in a particular fashion, we re-program our involuntary system to adopt this new way of breathing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This breathing technique is called the “Full Yogic breath” or simply Yoga breathing.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Without wasting time, I’ll plunge right away into the technique followed by its overwhelming benefits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First, lie down on your back, relaxed, with hands and legs outstretched and eyes looking up at the roof. Gently close your eyes and relax.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Step 1: Abdominal breathing&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Observe your natural breath. You will notice that as you inhale the abdomen rises and then falls with exhalation. Watch this for a few moments to check this flow. Now begin to deepen, lengthen and extend that movement. That is, while inhaling, let the abdomen rise to its limit and at exhalation let it fall completely. Keep the chest still during this entire process – only move the abdomen. Continue this for 20 breaths and then rest.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Step 2: Thoracic (chest) breathing&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Again observe your normal breath, this time focusing your attention on the chest. You will notice the chest moving slightly up at inhalation and down with exhalation. Again observe this pattern for a few moments. Now again, begin to deepen, lengthen and extend that movement. This time, on inhalation expand and lift the rib cage, filling the lungs completely. Then on exhalation, let the lungs collapse fully, sinking to the limits. In this step, keep the abdomen still, moving only the chest. Do this for 20 breath cycles and then stop&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Step 3: Full Yogic breathing&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This combines the above 2 steps in the following way:&lt;br /&gt;First inhale by filling the abdomen and then CONTINUE inhaling as you expand and fill the chest. Then exhale first from the chest as it empties and falls and then CONTINUE exhaling from the abdomen as it draws inwards completely. This is one round of the full yogic breath. Repeat this for 20 rounds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Remember the pattern… Inhaling - abdomen then chest; Exhaling – chest then abdomen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;GOLDEN RULE: All of the above steps should be done WITHOUT strain. The natural tendency is to heave with effort. The right way is to make it smooth and effortless. Go slow and easy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Initially you will experience unevenness or bumps in this breathing process – as if there are 4 separate parts to the full yogic breath. This is natural considering the years we have spent breathing improperly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Instead, try to picture this breath as a continuous wave like pattern – as if the breath moves up from the navel to the throat with every inhalation and then, down from the throat to the navel with each exhalation. It may take a few weeks of practice to perfect a “SMOOTH flowing pattern with MINIMUM effort and with MAXIMUM capacity.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is the desired effect!! Over time, the yoga way of breathing will come naturally to you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And now for the all-important benefits…&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The full yogic breath is the basic building block of the powerful yoga breathing techniques, also called ‘Pranayama’ in Sanskrit, which are known for their multifarious benefits.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But the tangible benefits of the full yogic breath are that it:&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Releases acute and chronic muscular tensions around the heart and digestive organs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Helps sufferers of respiratory illnesses such as asthma and emphysema to overcome the fear of shortness of breath.
