The Messiest Kids Birthday Parties You Would Never Want to Have at Your Home

2012-11-18T14:18:00.000-08:00

If you are considering hosting your kids birthday party at home this year then I can almost guarantee that you are looking for a memorable party event that will impress your children and their friends. There are some party ideas however you may just regret planning. In fact, if you read the rest of this kids birthday parties post, you'll discover the messiest kids birthday parties you would never want to have at home.

Kids birthday parties require careful planning; you need to work out the time, date and numbers of guests, including what other adults will be there to help supervise and clean up. Invitations need to be designed and sent out, then stations set up for the day with kids activities and events. Having a messy party at home can include shaving cream, finger paint, water, chocolate and sprinklers. Any activities involving these elements can be fun in the beginning, but a real hassle to clean up at the end of the day.

One of the messiest kids birthday parties you would never want to have at home is a cooking party. Kid's can decorate their own cupcakes, with frosting and various sprinkles. Whilst the end result is finger licking good, the dishes and mess created require endless hours of work to get the house back to normal. It is really worth asking yourself if you are brave (or crazy) enough to throw a messy party at home. If you really want the kids to be able to make as much mess as they want, then consider hosting your kids birthday party at an indoor play centre.

At Dizzy's Castle Indoor Play Centre, kids can dress up as junior chefs and learn how to knead dough, bake and ice cupcakes and of course, throw flour at each other! The goal: encourage the kids to make as much mess as possible because you don't have to clean up! The result: The best birthday party ever! So the next time your kid suggests a themed birthday party you can confidently say yes knowing that you are not going to ruin your house because an indoor play centre will take care of all your needs! Check out the video below to see how much fun the kids can have at messy kids birthday parties and how much mess they can make!

Why Children's Play Groups Are Essential for the Wellbeing of Both Parents & Children

2012-10-31T15:43:00.000-07:00

Indoor Play Centre offer a huge number of benefits for families and the wider community. In fact, at Dizzy's Castle indoor play centre we believe they are essential for the wellbeing of both parents and children. A recent article in the Melbourne Leader reported that the Yarra Council is expected to more than triple its annual playgroup funding. Council research has estimated that the number of Yarra Children aged four and under is anticipated to increase by 5% over the next five years, hence the need to invest now in more play groups for parents and children.

Raising young children can be a very vulnerable time for a mother's life when she is isolated with young kids. Indoor Play Centre Melbourne offer support for parents, giving them the chance to make new friends, along with providing both social and informal networking opportunities.

Dizzy's Castle has set up a new play groups program at our indoor play centres in Maribyrnong Victoria. Both parents and children can reap massive benefits. For kids, they can make new friends, explore, discover and stimulate the senses, along with developing fine and gross motor skills. Play Centre are a really fun way for kids to get fit, whilst at the same time help them develop emotional, social and communication skills. Just as kids can reach out and build self confidence in a safe and secure environment, so too can parents, who can seek advice or a listening ear from other mothers and fathers. Importantly, indoor play centres are a wonderful place to just relax and spend quality time with your kids.

Every month we host a themed party at our kids play centre in Maribyrnong, Melbourne. On this night we have our roving internet marketer/ camera woman checking in with customers to make sure they are having a good time. Whilst we are at it, we attempt to film as many of our customers responses as possible! One of the best things about having a kids play centre is the enjoyment that it offers to families. Kids play centres are a great way for mum or dad to let the kids run around and play safely, whilst they can kick back, relax, read a book, catch up on work or have a coffee and snack with friends.

In addition, having a kids play centre means that we get to promote healthy exercise (in a fun and indirect way), plus a healthy kids menu (with our no deep fry zone policy), plus bring children and adults into a medieval castle chock full of fantasy. This helps kids enter into a world that is full of imagination, creativity and adventure.

Save Money on Kids Parties

2012-10-02T19:36:00.000-07:00

Kids parties can be not only messy events, but expensive! By the time you have bought all the party supplies, including food, decorations and gifts, set up the house, arranged activities to keep the kids occupied, cooked food, served food, entertained the guests, then no sooner is it time to say goodbye and spend hours cleaning up the mess! Where's the fun in that?

Well, no longer do you need to worry as there is a very fun solution. Hosting your child's birthday party at an indoor play centre is an excellent way to save money on kids parties. Dizzy's Castle Indoor Play Centre has a range of fantasy themed party packages to suit all ages. One of the most economical solutions that Dizzy's Castle offers is a kids' cafe party. You can book a table in our play centre's cafe area for only $20. The table is all set up with party plates, napkins and cups and all you need to do is order food and drink separately. This is a great option if you are looking for something simple, but want to make sure that you have a designated spot for your kids to eat and rest. Adults can order larger food platters like antipasto and dips and kick back and relax whilst the kids run around and have fun.

Check out our video with full details about our cafe party or jump onto our website at Dizzy's Castle Indoor Play Centre and speak to one of our friendly crew about bookings for kids parties. Alternatively, call us today on (03) 9318 1110.

Customer Review for Indoor Play Centre

2012-10-01T17:14:00.000-07:00

Having an indoor play centre can sometimes be a challenge. There are many factors involved, from setting up, to food preparation and cleaning, plus making sure that the kids parties, playgroups and our customers are happy with the centre and service. As you know you can't please everybody, as much as we like to try! However, we also have a fun, fitness and fantasy guarantee policy, so always appreciate hearing from customers who visit our indoor play centre, who may have constructive feedback to offer as to how we can do things better.

Thankfully, at our recent Footy Friday monthly party, these three mum's were having a great time catching up and having coffee, whilst their kids played on our play centre equipment. I politely interrupted and asked them if they wouldn't mind saying a few words about what it is about our indoor play centre that they liked so much. Here is what they had to say....

If you're looking for a fun day out or to celebrate your next children's birthday party, then visit Dizzy's Castle Indoor Play Centre. We have five themed party rooms, with plenty of package deals, 7 slides plus obstacle course, secure toddler area with jumping castle, safety trampolines, glow in the dark mini golf and much much more! School Holiday Programs at Kids Indoor Play Centres

2012-09-29T17:32:00.000-07:00

School holidays are a fun time for both kids and parents, however they can also be quite stressful. Planning daily activities to keep the kids amused is not only time consuming, expensive, but draining. An inexpensive solution to this is spending a day at a kids indoor play centre. At Dizzy's Castle indoor play centre, adult entry is free and kids get unlimited play all day.

What's great about kids indoor play centres is that adults can kick back and relax, have a cup of coffee, even read a book or catch up on some work, whilst the kids run around and let off steam. At Dizzy's Castle we have designed an enclosed area for kids under 4 years of age, which includes ball pit and jumping castle.

These school holidays Dizzy's Castle indoor play centre is hosting daily activities, such as cupcake and biscuit decorating, free glow in the dark mini golf and disco dancing! There is now no need to worry about what the weather is going to be like or whether you will lose your kids in a public space! At a kids indoor play centre you can have a stress free and fun filled day. Best of all kids walk away feeling exhausted and have had heaps of exercise without any of it seeming like hard work. Nice!
