Rocker Gets Heart Broken By Swedish DJ

X Factor rocker Jamie Archer had his heart broken by a Swedish beauty he met on a Thai beach.

DJ Danielle Pierson dated 34-year old Jamie - who claims to have bedded more than 100 women - after they met on holiday in Thailand three years ago.

Jamie met pretty Danielle - an up and-coming DJ in her native Sweden - on a beach in Koh Samui, Thailand.

They embarked on a long-distance relationship with Londoner Jamie regularly flying over to Stockholm to visit Danielle.

But four months later the couple called time on the relationship after admitting the distance between them was too much.

He is currently holed-up in the X Factor finalists' house in North London, where he is sharing a room with rivals Olly Murs and Danyl Johnson.

It has emerged that pop diva Mariah Carey has a special name for her husband Nick Cannon. The pet name was revealed at Cannon’s birthday party at club Bank in Las Vegas, reports the New York Post.

Carey presented him with a cake shaped like DJ turntables and inscribed with the message, “Happy Birthday DJ Sex Fingers -- Love, M.C.C.” Carey then performed three of her songs for Cannon, including “I Want To Know What Love Is”, before turning the party over to Cannon to DJ.

DJ Jon Hillcock Joins NME Radio Line-Up

NME Radio has announced the addition of a new DJ to the station's line-up – Jon Hillcock.

Hillcock, who previously worked at XFM, will join the station from October 5. He will be on air from 10am (BST) to midday and will also present his show, New Noise, on Saturday evenings between 7pm and 9pm.

He was the first DJ to play bands including Arcade Fire and Klaxons on
UK radio.

The recent death of top DJ Adam Goldstein (better known as DJ AM) has been deemed accidental.

The New York City medical examiner's office has ruled that Adam Goldstein died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs and cocaine. The 36-year-old celebrity had OxyContin, Hyrocodone, Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Benadryl and Levamisole in his system.

On August 28, 2009, Goldstein was found dead at his New York City apartment.

A master mixer DJ looks set for stardom after he got through to the regional final of Movida Corona, the world's biggest DJ competition.

Radio DJ George Bowie had to cancel a gig after a group of neds (Scottish chavs) tried to steal his record collection.

The Clyde 1 breakfast host had turned up for the show at the Talk Of The Town pub in Shotts, Lanarkshire, when a thug grabbed his bag of discs. But Bowie, who is in training for a celebrity boxing match against politician Tommy Sheridan, refused to let go of the collection.

He said: "I'd just got out of my mate's car when this guy approached me and tried to take the bag. About half a dozen other guys appeared and surrounded me. I just thought: 'Uh-oh, this isn't going to end well. But there was no way I was going to let them take my records. I've got three kids to feed.'"

The host, who took charge of the show in 2004, has overtaken a record set by Tony Blackburn more than 30 years ago.

Moyles has now clocked up 2,073 days in the job. He has also revealed that he took a 20 per cent pay cut three months ago as a result of cost-cutting at the BBC.
