Operator MTS OJSC "Irkutskenergo" in the VII of the Baikal Economic
Forum today announced the completion of the project for the
development of network infrastructure in enterprises "Irkutskenergo"

Verizon Wireless has confirmed to the Wall Street Journal that it will not offer the Samsung Galaxy S II. Samsung is expected to introduce the S II to the U.S. market at an event scheduled for August 29 in New York City. It will launch the S II with AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, but not Verizon. "We have an extensive portfolio that offers customers a great variety of devices, including the Samsung Droid Charge," said Brenda Raney, a Verizon Wireless spokeswoman, to the Journal. The S II was first announced in February at the Mobile World Congress event, and has already sold more than 5 million units across Asia, Australia, and Europe. The Galaxy S II measures 8.49mm, and it uses the latest Super AMOLED plus display technology for its 4.27-inch display. It has quad-band GSM/EDGE and quad-band HSPA at 21Mbps, Bluetooth 3.0 HS, GPS, Wi-Fi, and FM with RDS radios, and a dual-core 1GHz processor. The S II's main camera captures 8 megapixels, full 1080p HD video and has auto-focus and a flash. The secondary camera has 2 megapixels. Media can be shared via DLNA, an the S II will come with either 16GB or 32GB of onboard storage, in addition to a slot for microSD cards up to 32GB. The S II runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Sales dates and prices are expected to be announced on August 29.

Sony Ericsson today announced the Xperia Neo V, a new Android smartphone that will include refreshed Xperia software from Sony Ericsson. The Neo V is a monoblock slab running Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with a 1GHz SnapDragon processor and a 3.7-inch, scratch resistant 480 x 854 FWVGA Reality Display with Mobile Bravia Engine. The new Xperia software heavily revises the Facebook experience on the phone; adds swipe text input and easy screen shots; adds 3D sweep panorama capabilities to the camera; and enables a wide array of USB-based accessories, such as mice, keyboards, and game controllers. Other features of the Xperia Neo V include a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus/touch-to-focus, face detection, panoramas, LED flash and 720p HD video capture. It includes Wi-Fi, aGPS, Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS, and support for microSD cards up to 32GB. One variant of the Neo V will have support for AT&T's 3G networks. Summary

If you are a Symbian or Nokia S60 fan, your day has come. The Nokia N8 is the best Symbian device to have ever been sold. It has a great hardware design, good software capabilities, and the most usable touch interface ever offered on Symbian, thanks to the phone's new Symbian^3 smartphone operating system.

Highlights of the phone include a stellar 12 megapixel camera with xenon flash and 720p HD video recording capability, a good music player with both FM receiver and transmitter capabilities, an improved home screen, and messaging support that finally offers threaded text messaging.

The phone has its downsides, though, like a weak browser that Nokia has promised it will replace in a future firmware update. While the camera on the N8 feels very, very fast, other aspects of the phone sometimes seem to drag a bit, and I found the touchscreen to be less accurate than what the competition offers.

Overall, it's a great device for Symbian fans, and the beautiful hardware and color options will appeal to many, but I don't think current users of competing smartphone platforms will find it very welcoming. The phone is currently available in the U.S. through the NokiaUSA.com website, though that might change in the future.

INSTALLING N-GAGE GAMES ONTO NOKIA SYMBIAN SERIES 60 MOBILES

This guide is for newbies and anyone that is having trouble installing N-Gage games onto their Nokia 6600, here is a step by step guide.

Note 1: It is a good idea to let set your MMS and SMS messages to be kept on your MMC, not on your phone memory. Any MMS or SMS’s currently on your phone’s memory, it is suggested you move them over to the MMC.

Note 2: You must have some sort of file managing software to do this. Download and install such an application before beginning this guide! I recommend FExplorer or SeleQ.

– STEP ONE — THE INSTALLER —

First Get the BLZ installer and your desired game.

Send the BLZ-Installer to your phone, it should be a *.SISfile, if it is not, then it is probably a *.ZIP or *.RAR, unpack the *.SIS file from the archive, then send it. DO NOT send the *.ZIP or *.RAR files to your phone.

Install the application.

– STEP TWO — THE GAME FILE —
Next, you need to get the game ready. Game files are in the*.BLZ format. Like the BLZ-Installer, if the game file is not a*.BLZ file, unpack the archives until you find the *.BLZ file.

You may need to do this a few times, because usually games are packed more than once.

Once you have the *.BLZ game file unpacked, send this to your phone.

– STEP THREE — INSTALLATION —
Open your installed file manager and find the *.BLZ game file in one of the mail folders (Example — e:\system\mail\XXXX) and copy the file to the root directory of the MMC (Example —e:\). Now Close the file manager.

Run the BLZ-Installer. Now you should see the game listed there. Select Option and then Install. Wait for the process to finish. The game should then be installed.

If you followed the procedure correctly and everything went well, you should see a new Icon, that is the game.

PLAY IT!!

UNINSTALL THE GAMES

Download SeleQ or FExplorer

Remove the folder:
E:\System\Apps\Game Name
