Is success your goal? Then you've already reached it. We are all successes in our many endeavors. You learned to walk, didn't you? Learned to read? Became an adult? Aren't these all successes?

So often, we set our goals for success. But what happens when we attain that? You learned to walk. Did you stop there? No. You continue to walk, don't you? Continue to read? Continue to grow older?

Do you have the soul of a poet? Does writing poetry come easy to you?

Not everyone can write a poem, not everyone understands poems.

What makes a poem great? A poet writes when moved by something. Maybe nature, maybe love, maybe depression.

I've often said that my heart belongs to writing, but my soul belongs to poetry. I have written poems for as long as I can remember. We all know that English is not an easy language to speak, understand, read or write, and that it's very easy to make mistakes. Especially for us writers. But it's only words, right?

As we write our stories, we get carried away in the plot. And that's a good thing. The faster we try to get the story written, though, the easier it is to make mistakes or to confuse our readers.

Hello my friends. Finally, the I Heart Books Valentines Blog Hop has arrived,

and I have a secret that I'm going to share.

My Secret Love Affair

With this being a Valentines blog hop, I am going to tell the world about my secret love affair..............with books. That's right. I admit it. I love books and I won't stop. I'd tell you not to tell my husband, but he already knows.

My good friend, Joleene Naylor tagged me for 'My Fantasy Circle of Five.'
This is a pretty easy one, yet fun too. Here are the rules:

1. List 5 fantasy characters you'd like to spend time with, and give a little info on why you chose them.

2. Pass it on.

Since, I love reading Harry Potter, I choose Severus Snape. I adore this character. First, may I say,

Before we get started on today's topic, I'd like to tell a story that I first read about in a Zen book.

Two monks were walking along a road after a rainstorm. On the
way they came to a large puddle which they had to cross. Standing in front of the puddle was a young woman who needed to cross also but was afraid to get her beautiful dress ruined.
