nobody in the blue planet for him mourned.
Not even his master , his 'Beloved Master'.
Each day a question
perturbed the Creator.
Why he wagged tail
for that whipper , his 'Beloved Master'.
"Did your self respect get slaughtered ?"
"Faithfulness for him will always reside .
Hatred will get murdered."
Is he an epitome
of love that is unconditional
or a fool who never to see

There in those shores
as she lies ,
finally she closes her eyes .
But she is salmon
she is born to die.
Charles happily took her away .
He didn't think twice
about brave salmon's life .
Because she was salmon ,
she had to die .
Amidst the strong current ,
she found her mate.
How could she now escape her fate?
But she was salmon.
She was born to die.
Bereft of any apprehensions
as she completed her
long swim to death,
she wished to know
if the orphaned fries
ever realize her sacrifice?
Or they too will say
Because she was salmon,
she had to die .

to feel that fresh breeze my heart yearns.

It wants to flyway into those skies.

As I look upto the sun the sight of that eagle

But here when she feeds me grain everyday,

as they were to you.
Gazing them from the crossroad each day

of both ways,

On that chilly night,

as she walked

on that dim and crowded street

she saw

how darkness united all.

The feeling of getting lost

let them to find companion.

But there she was

still walking alone,

not because she was a Cimmerian.

But because she felt that light

of the golden past

was enough to guide her.

She was unaware

that on that windy night

she too required warmth.

So now among those

familiar strangers

she is struggling to find companion.

Being Mature

On that bus
where I am riding
beneath my veil of sparkling glee
grief is hiding.
With all coercion
I had to choke my emotions.
Hearing that loud cry,
to my heart ,begged I

the sentiments of yours.

That infant is so free
she could let the world see
her wail,wrath and laughter.
She is her own master.

Trying to divert my mind
as I looked out of the window,
amidst the black clouds I find,
the caged tears of my eyes
are eloping from the black skies.

Unbounded by any chains,
the nature is showering rains.
That infant is too showcasing her pains.
To their freedom I am envious.
But to the world
my agonies' seizure
is the only definition of
"Being Mature".

A tale of two stones

Amidst this darkness

in this wilderness

when even a fireflie's sight

could bring in your life

a little light,

you were in search

of even the minutest of light

such was your plight!

All the agonies and

sorrows had made you a stone.

I being dejected and forlorn

had too become a stone.

The strong wind brought

us together.

Destined to meet

I thought we are

bonded forever.

Did you sensed those sparks

when I touched you?

I know they were few

but don't know

why this time I felt so new.

Soon those cruel rains

in my life

entered like a bane.

I tried to rub with you

again and again.

But all was in vain.

Never again that spark was ignited.

The fire could never be lighted.

The relationship couldn't be mended.

The miseries haven't ended.

Tossed in a different direction was I

by that passerby.

I had to part from you

without even saying a "bye".

On my face wearing that smile
I had walked miles and miles
in search of water
and a soothing bower.
Despite the blisters in my poor feet
I am walking
amidst this dust and under the heat.

My happiness knew no bounds
when I heard that sound.
I was walking on the air
when I saw
a glimpse of that water reservoir.
With you I developed an affinity
because I was very thirsty.

The discovery of that elixir
made me build castles in the air.
My parched lips tried to feel solace.
The feeling was just marvelous.
Then the wind scattered
the pictures of my collage
and I realized
you were just a mirage.

But I want to let you know

my poor body would've borne that cruel snow.

You provided blanket on my shoulder

and rescued me from this winter.

Oh dear benovalent.

I thank you for your present.

But I want to let you know

my poor body would've borne that cruel snow.

With its warmth it gave me protection.

Gradually with it I developed intoxication.

Sleeping besides the bornfire that night.

No more with this winter I had to put up a fight.

But that light brought darkness

as it burnt my blanket into ashes.

Walking on this road

now I am alone.

I'm on my way to seek answers

to the question unknown.

I try to introspect

my deeds every day.

So as to know

why the colours faded to grey.

Without being aware of my offence

how can I perform repentance?

to my corpse you set fire.

But I know,

In order to survive I had to remain awake so as to keep a close watch on my enemies’ action. My poor soul was ruthlessly being subdued by my foes. For the last one month I had been held as a captive. I was mercilessly being subject to harsh punishments. Alas!I was able to break those strong chains.Hurrah!I have fled from the prison. Ah! How nice is this feeling of “Freedom “after the “Examination”.

Confessions of an adult

Standing before the mirror after a decade

I suddenly realised

I too have become a facade

and my noble qualities did get fade.

The world which is really cynical

made me skeptical.

I was amicable before.

But those were the days of yore.

Discovering myself too featuring hypocrisy

was astonishing for me.

Now I am engulfed in dirty politics

have started applying all those cheap tactics.

Running in this rat race of mad competition

I found myself a selfish person.

In order to fulfill my insatiable desire

I have become so dire!

The journey to adulthood made me cruel

as I had to survive in this battle.

I am now unable to find in this ambiance

my misplaced childhood innocence.

as your face like mirror

made me remember

all those qualities which I

the warmth of life gets curtailed.

Being deprived of emotional wants

The jocundity of my vacation

came to an abrupt end.

The pangs of separation

could no longer be mend.

The cab's arrival at that jiff

had jolted me from within.

It was certainly a blemish

on our 'Family Gathering' scene.

Standing on the airport

I was subject to torment.

Astonishingly,choked was my throat.

I remained speechless at that moment.

While hugging and kissing my sister

on her cheeks, I felt dew.

Freedom from my own country??

Amidst the amalgam of all the patriotic songs played countrywide today,I felt myself very lucky for having born in independent India. The spirit of independence, liberation and freedom is a feeling that everyone cherishes.Freedom from tyranny, oppression, subjugation is independence. But does the meaning of independence limits to this only ? Does independence only mean being aware of your rights and raising voice to enjoy them ? Does it not mean discharging your fundamental duties ?

The cases of corruption, terrorism, riots and other crimes are increasing at an alarming rate. Unquestionably, in the international economic arena India is reaching new heights. But sadly, in this fast pace of development we Indians have become so self-centered.Those feelings of patriotism and brotherhood merely remained entangled in history books.

On seeing this plight of independent India I really feel
'Does independence mean being independent of your own country ? '

Is knowledge about the past useful ?

Knowledge about the past is useful to complete our knowledge of the world we live in. Time is a continuous process. It can't be divided into watertight compartments into past, present or future. Nevertheless, it's worthwhile to learn lessons from our follies and failures in the past.The past events act as a pointer or sign post to guide us. The past is stored either in history books or in the mind of each individual.Our present civilization is governed by our good or bad deeds.

All of us know how cleverly Chattrapati Shivaji befooled the Mughals and escaped from the prison. This act of Shivaji might have inspired Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose to meticulously plan his escape from house arrest and got success in his efforts.

In the Battle of Plassey Mir Zafar conspired with the British. As a result of his betrayal , Nawab Sherajudullah lost the battle of Plassey to the British. This was a stepping stone to two hundred years of British rule and misery of India being subjugated to British colonialism. The militants in our country who conpire with foreign powers and act against the interest of motherland should take lessons from such past events. They should try to foresee that if they try to weaken the motherland by their continuous sessimist act and help foreign powers to dominate us they would also not be spared by the tyranny of foreign powers in the long run. Indian muslims who are settled in Pakistan are called 'Muhajir ' and are looked down upon thereby not equally treated. During British rule we had also seen those who helped Britishers weren't given equal status by the Britishers.

So, friends present times can't be separated from the past. The shadow of past wraps the world we live in. The bond is inseperable. Moreover, what we call present today will become history tomorrow!!

Transcending Darkness

Darker and darker becomes this cave
and I have become agonies' slave.
The oil in the lantern is about to finish.
The whole surrounding will become more devilish.
My aversion to apparition
wouldn't shake my strong determination.
No longer can I see that ray of light.
It's simply out of my sight.
But I've to fight.
My will power is my might.
One day my hardwork would
announce its triumph over destiny
and the ambiance
would be no longer gloomy. :)
