Membuat website dengan CodeIgniter Part1

Langsung aja saya jabarkan kebutuhan yg akan di pakai nanti untuk membuat sebuah website dari framework codeigniter...
pertama..
ya tentu saja source dari codeigniter-nya... bisa pake yg terbaru atau 2.0 ++ disini

kedua..
database -nya bisa menggunakan MySql yg udah di bundle ke dalam Xampp disini

ketiga (optional)
Editor teks.... pake notepad oke... pake netbeans oke juga...

Langkah selanjutnya adalah install terlebih dahulu xampp-nya jika sudah ada xamppnya, lanjut ke langkah selanjutnya, lalu kemudian extract source Codeigniter di htdocs xampp.

langkah berikutnya adalah buka direktori atau folder config dan edit file config.php

$config['base_url']    = 'http://localhost/contoh-web'; // edit pada bagian ini sesuai nama folder atau direktori root anda di htdocs.

lalu buka file autoload.php yang masih berada di dalam direktori config...
isikan parameter yang kita butuhkan untuk dapat membuat sebuah aplikasi...

untuk sementara settingan yang kita buat baru sampai disini dalam source code codeigniter... untuk itu kita fokuskan terlebih dahulu dengan rancangan database untuk aplikasi yang akan kita buat ini.
pertama tentukan terlebih dahulu tabel yang akan di jadikan sebagai kunci utama aplikasi atau web yang akan kita buat kali ini...

misal :

analisis tabel :
pada tabel diatas sengaja di pilih nama table content karena dapat memudahkan kita memasukkan berbagai tipe atau jenis, misal posting, berita, news dll dengan pengaturan tipe content terdapat di dalam field type. Pada tabel content terdapat join terhadap 4 tabel, yaitu categories, users, comment, images. dengan hubungan dari content ke categories adalah many to one, content ke users many to one, content ke comment many to many, sedangkan content dengan images adalah one to many.

Allo bro and sis sekalian...ane mo curhat ni...klo ane bandingin CMS atau Content Management System terbaik menurut ane tuh yang pertama adalah :
1. Joomla. Kenapa joomla? karena selain dia gratis tapi udah banyak tutorialnya, dokumentasi nya sangat rapi yang bantu juga pasti banyak di tiap tiap milis yang ada di indonesia atau seluruh dunia....dan menurut saya struktur atau komponen pemrograman yang dihasilkan mudah di pahami. sehingga jika di gali lebih dalam... makin pusing deh..wkwk

jadi kalo titik tu di klik atau saat disorot dengan mouse berubah jadi link trus diklik maka akan muncul informasi di samping kanan gambar, begitu seterusnya. cuman disini saya hanya ngisi beberapa data aja... daripada ngelebar kemana mana silahkan donlod aja ni sourcenya..bingung cari ja mbah gugel biar jawab...

langsung ja bro an sis yang lg bingung mungkin cari tutorial bkin apilkasi database dengan mysql di vb 6. disini aplikasi yang bakal dibuat adalah apilkasi desktop menggunakan VB 6 tetapi menggunakan database dari mysql. Anda bisa menggunakan Xampp atau Appserv sebagai penyedia layanan data. download nya bisa cari di mbah gugel...
ok langsung siapain ja sebagai berikut :
1. download driver ODBC mysql untuk Vb 6 disini (sory ni link lokal bro)UPDATE
2. klo dah di download langsung ja instal. trus ikuti petunjuk dibwah ini:
buka control panel -> System/security ->administratif tools -> data source ODBC. ni screen sootnya

3. trus klik add (tambah user data source baru)
   lalu bakal muncul menu Create new data source cari trus pilih mysql odbc 3.51 driver
   klik finish.
   jadinya kaya gini :

Isi deh parameternya..kurang lebih kaya gambar diatas... password itu yang digunakan di xampp atau di appserv kamu...klo ga di password ya kosongin ajah....klik ok beres deh soal driver...

4. ok sekarang kita masuk dlu ke phpmyadmin di browser buat database baru... ni saya contoh aja yang sederhana :

5. langkah selanjutnya kita mulai deh sedikit koding di vb 6 ... yuk Ke Te Ka Pe
6. klo dah kebuka vb 6 nya kita buat dlu projek baru yang standard exe, trus klo bisa di save dlu..
7. trus pilih data environment

8. setelah itu masuk kemenu ini...ikuti saja gambarnya :

klik kanan di Connection1 trus pilih properties... trus pilih Microsoft OLE DB provider for ODBC driver

.. klik next
..trus da menu baru lagi isi dengan sbb :

pilih use data source name...sesuai dengan nama pas kita awal tadi bikin koneksi dari driver odbc di administrative tools... (klo disini namanya myodbc dengan nama database test... jika sudah klik test connectiontion buat memastikan koneksi lancar. lalu Ok.

9. setelah itu pada connection1 tadi klik kanan lagi... tapi kali ini pilih add command

muncul command baru...
10. setelah itu klik kanan lagi pada Command 1...lalu pilih properties... muncullah menu baru... trus ikuti saja gambarnya :

..di source of data pilih database object-nya -> table.... dan pada object name adalah nama tabel yang kita buat di database mysql tadi... klo disini namanya note..
.. trus pilih tab advanced di menu pilihan locke type pilih no 3 Optimistic.
.. trus ya udah klik ok....
.. eng ing eng kaya gini jadinya

11. nah gambar diatas sebenarnya pekerjaan kita tentang pengaturan data udah beres...soalnya cuma tinggal finishing code aja..
12. caranya gini nih klik kiri satu per satu item di bawah command 1 ke lembar kerja kita di vb 6 kaya gini nih jadinya :

..kalo udah kaya gini tinggal atur ajah semau kita tata letaknya... jika sudah ada data di database coba aja jalankan hasil yang sudah kita buat ini, kaya gini ni...

nb: jikalau di dalam visual basic 6 kalian ndak ada data environment...wah klo kaya gitu berarti VB 6 anda ndak terinstal sempurna atau OS yang anda gunakan juga bermasalah.. coba install ulang vb 6 anda atau os anda..jika masih saja,... cari source lain dari installan/mentahan Vb 6 anda yg lain, kemungkinan corrupted pada installan vb 6 lama anda...

3. di sukasari kasih tau aja si supir mw naek angkot 01 turun dimana... atau minta turun ja sebelum PDAM..
4. dari situ jalan dikit ke toko unyil.. disitu ada bundaran...
5. baru deh naek angkot jurusan cisarua, bilang aja turun di cilember.. (pasti tau tu supir,klo ga tau brarti orang batu kwkwk).

script include klo kate dosen ane adalah kunci untuk menyalakan beberapa perintah script yang di gunakan... klo contoh paling gampang ya itu iostream (input output stream) fungsinya buat ngejalanin script cin or cout ofstream di bawah header berfungsi buat manggil eh definisiin variabel file bernama textbaru. untuk kmudian di lakukan operasi dari script textbaru.open lalu dibuka path dimana kamu menyimpan file txt yang akan dibuka...(cara penulisan path harus benar.kalo ga.ya coba aja sendiri) selanjutnya paham kan sendiri.. compile and run eng ing eng muncul dah tu file txt...

merubah port xampp di windows

allo all.. saya kembali lagi mo posting nih about php. kali ini saya mau membahas bagaimana cara merubah port xampp di windows. hal ini dilakukan jika xampp yang kamu instal di windows dalam kondisi error, seperti contohnya hanya mysql-nya saja yang dapat diaktifkan di dalam modul xampp, tetapi apache -nya tidak mau aktif walau pun sudah di instal ulang. dan hanya mysql-nya saja atau phpmyadmin yang aktif tanpa modul apache.
ok berikut ini adalah langkah - langkah-nya :
1. buka windows explorer anda.
2. buka direktori instalasi xampp anda.

3. cari direktori apache

4. masuk ke dalam direktori conf, lalu pilih file httpd.conf lalu edit menggunakan notepad.. atau aplikasi editor lainnya.
5. cari dan replace nilai 80 menjadi 8080. lalu simpan.
6. kemudian masuk kedalam direktori extra, dan buka file httpd-ssl.conf
7. cari dan replace nilai 443 dengan 4433. lalu simpan.
8. yang terakhir restart xampp, kemudian buka browser anda dan ketikan localhostl:8080.

jadi setiap aplikasi yang anda buat dengan php melalui xampp, dan disimpan didalam direktori htdocs dapat diakses dengan localhost:8080/nama project anda.

okay langsung ajah tips dari saya tentang membuat live Usb dengan mudah dan cepat, yaitu :
1. Download UNetBootin (pilih sesuai Sistem operasi yang anda gunakan, windows ato linux) disini
2. Siapkan Distro linux yang anda ingin gunakan....
bisa dari cd/dvd, file iso-nya, ato anda punya koneksi internet? bisa otomatis di download sama UNetBootin.
3. Berikut ini daftar Distro Linux yang ringan, yang dapat anda pertimbangkan untuk di instal ke flash disk anda...
- DSL (Damn Small Linux
- ARCH Linux
- xpud-0.9
- clonezilla-live-1.2.2-14
- austrumi-1.7.2
- slax-6.0.7
- Dream Linux
- FreeBSD
- Elive
- System rescue
dan lain - lain sebagainya.....

4. Setelah memilih Distro yang cocok, kemudian Pilih flashdisk yang ingin digunakan, minimal kapasitas yang dapat saya anjurkan adalah flashdisk dengan kapasitas minimal 1 GB..... Lalu masukkan FlashDisk ke komputer anda.

5. Jika sistem operasi yang anda gunakan adalah windows, maka tinggal anda klik langsung saja UNetBootin yang telah didownload tadi. karena UNetBooti n adalah software executeable... Namun jika menggunakan sistem operasi linux anda harus meng-klik kanan Unetbootin hasil download anda, kemudian pilih tab Permission dan centang ato contreng pilihan is a executeable...

6. Setelah itu klik aplikasi UNetbootin untuk memulai instalasi atau live usb linux ke FlashDisk ...

7. Setelah itu... silahkan pilih cara yang ingin digunakan untuk menginstal distro linux ....

8. Selanjutnya tinggal klik ok... maka akan terjadi proses secara otomatis oleh UNetBootin. Untuk pilihan Custom sebaiknya tidak digunakan, karena cukup rumit dan memusingkan.

9. setelah selesai lalu reboot attao restart komputer, kemudian masuk ke menu pilihan booting di komputer anda ato ke pengaturan bios. Dan ganti first booting dari usb flashdisk anda. kemudian save lalu keluar.

Attention :
Hal - hal yang menyebabkan Linux LiveUsb anda tidak berfungsi :
1. Bila saat boot loader telah selesai tampil, terdapat error dan muncul peringatan, semisal kernel panic, ato cannot find kernel. Kemungkinan yang terjadi adalah, hardware anda tidak dikenali. atau belum terindex dlam paket instalasi distro yang anda pilih, solusinya bisa anda cari di mbah GOOGLE.

2. Pada setelah Grub boot loader tampil, lalu masuk ke splash screen tidak menampilkan apapun atau blank, kemungkinan driver vga anda tidak terdeteksi. kejadian ini berarti sama dengan pada kejadian nomor satu. Atau kemungkinan lainnya adalah file ISO atau CD/DVD yang anda gunakan tidak terbakar sempurna atau dengan kata lain rusak.

Compile Script php menjadi exe (dengan Bamm)

Compile Script PHP menjadi Executable File [exe]

sebenarnyo inti tutorial ini bukan buat bahas PHP ,tp bahas yang namanya BAmcompile yaitu freeware buat compile script php jd EXE... download disini

bamcompile itu kompiler PHP ke EXE lewat command prompt. executable file yang dihasilkan sepenuhnyah dijamin 100% standalone alias idak butuh library atau file lainnya.Selain itu bamcompile juga bisa membuat window khusus buat aplikasi PHP . [sebenernyah bamcompile ini ga seperti kompiler laen yang bisa buat native code tapi nyatanya juga bekerja.... koq bisa ya?

satu hal lagi yang menarik , bamcompile sudah dilengkapi dengan UPX tools [optional]. And, bamcompile hanya bisa 1 membuat program executable nyampe 500-600Kb aja [lumayan]. Bambalam ini diklaim sudah support dg PHP 4.4.4, tapi masih agak error dikit dgn PHP 5.

Sebelum buat programnya, lebih baik mudeng dulu perintah-perintah yang ada di Bambalam. File project bambalam itu berekstensi *.bcp. Nah, di file projectnya itu ada perintah2 spt dibawah ini:

destinationdestination_path 'tujuan kemana file dibuat, dg destination_path sebagai pathnya.

nah, perintah itu ketik aja dengan teks editor [notepad,dll]. Pada dasarnya perintah yang dibutuhkan tergantung dari project kamu, mau dikompress atau tidak, di beri window atau tidak , terserah.

LEtS MAKE IT

Sekarang saatnya membuatnya. ekstrak bambalam.zip-nya, Terus buat folder dengan nama calculate (misalnya....) di dalam direktori bambalam berada. Nah didalam folder ini kalian taruh semua file yang dibutuhkzn, termasuk file projectnya.

STEP 1

Buat file projectnya, Source codenya spt ini. [jangan tulis yang warna hijau, itu cuma penjelasan] Tulis pakai Notepad terus simpan dengan nama calculate.bcp.

Adalah salah satu pengarah prepocessor directive yang tersedia pada C++. Preprocessor selalu dijalankan terlebih dahulu pada saat proses kompilasi terjadi. Bentuk umumnya :

2. Fungsi main ()

Fungsi ini menjadi awal dan akhir eksekusi program C++. main adalah nama

judul fungsi. Melihat bentuk seperti itu dapat kita ambil kesimpulan bahwa batang tubuh

program utama berada didalam fungsi main( ). Berarti dalam setiap pembuatan program

utama, maka dapat dipastikan seorang pemrogram menggunakan minimal sebuah fungsi.

Pembahasan lebih lanjut mengenai fungsi akan diterangkan kemudian. Yang sekarang

coba ditekankan adalah kita menuliskan program utama kita didalam sebuah fungsi

main().

3. Komentar

Komentar tidak pernah dicompile oleh compiler. Dalam C++ terdapat 2 jenis

DISK MAGNET

Disk merupakan piringan bundar yang biasanya terbuat dari logam atau plastic dengan permukaan dilapisi bahan yang cepat dimegnetisasi.

Mekanisme baca atau tulis menggunakan kepala baca atau tulis yang disebut head, merupakan kumparan pengkonduksi ( conducting coll ). Desain fisiknya, head bersifat stasioner sedangkan piringan disk berputar sesuai kontrolnya. Metode layout data pada disk terbagi dua, yaitu constant angular velocity dan multiple zoned recording.

Disk diorganisasi dalam bentuk cincin-cincin konsentris yang disebut track. Track pada disk dipisahkan oleh gap (gap: mencegah atau mengurangi kesalahan pembacaan maupun penulisan yang disebabkan melesetnya head atau karena interferensi medan magnet). Sejumlah bit yang sama akan menempati track-track yang tersedia. Semakin ke dalam disk maka kerapatan (density) disk akan bertambah besar. Data dikirim ke memori ini dalam bentuk blok, umumnya blok lebih kecil kapasitasnya dibandingkan track. Blok-blok data disimpan dalam disk yang berukuran blok, yang disebut sector. Track biasanya terisi beberapa sector, umumnya 10 hingga 100 sector tiap tracknya.

Head harus bisa mengidentifikasi titik awal atau posisi-posisi sector maupun track. Data yang disimpan akan diberi header tambahan yang menginformasikan letak sector dan track suatu data. Tambahan header data ini hanya digunakan oleh system disk drive saja tanpa bisa diakses oleh pengguna.

Pada head tetap setiap track memiliki kepala head sendiri, sedangkan pada head bergerak, satu kepala head digunakan untuk beberapa track dalam satu muka disk. Pada head bergerak adalah lengan head bergerak menuju track yang diinginkan berdasarkan perintah dari disk drive-nya.

1. FLOPPY DISK

Karakteristik disket adalah head menyentuh permukaan disk saat membaca ataupun menulis. Efeknya disket tidak tahan lama dan sering rusak. Maka dibuat mekanisme penarikan head dan menghentikan rotasi disk ketika head tidak melakukan operasi baca dan tulis. Namun akibatnya waktu akses disket cukup lama.

Jenis Floppy ada dua :

1. jenis terdahulu berukuran kurang lebih 5 inci.

2. jenis pembaharu berukuran lebih kecil yaitu kira - kira 3.5 inci.

2. IDE DISK (HARDDISK)

Saat IBM mengembangkan PC XT, menggunakan sebuah harddisk Seagate 10 MB untuk menyimpan program maupun data. Harddisk ini memiliki 4 head, 306 silinder dan 17 sector per track, dikontrol oleh pengontrol disk. Teknologi yang berkembang pesat menjadikan pengontrol disk yang sebelumnya terpisah menjadi satu paket terintegrasi, diawali dengan teknologi drive IDE (Integrated Drive Elctronics) pada tahun 1980.

CD (Compact Disk)

Pada tahun 1980 Philip dan Sony mengembangkan CD (Compact Disk). Detail teknis produk ini dipublikasikan dalam Internasional Standard resmi pada tahun 1983 yang popular disebut red book.

CD merupakan disk yang tidak dapat dihapus, mampu menyimpan memori kurang lebih 60 menit informasi audio pada salah satu sisinya. CD yang mampu menyimpan data dalam jumlah yang besar, menjadikannya media penyimpan yang fleksibel digunakan di berbagai peralatan seperti computer, kamera video, MP3 player, dan lain-lain.

CD ROM (Compact Disk- Read Only Memory)

Dikenalkan pertama kali oleh Philip dan Sony tahun 1984 dalam publikasinya yang dikenal dengan Yellow Book. Perbedaan utama dengan CD adalah CD ROM player lebih kasar dan memiliki perangkat pengoreksi kesalahan untuk menjamin keakuratan transfer data ke computer.

Secara fisik keduanya dibuat dengan cara yang sama, yaitu terbuat dari resin. Contohnya Polycarbonate, dan dilapisi dengan permukaan yang sangat reflektif seperti aluminium.

Penulisan dilakukan dengan cara membuat lubang mikroskopik sebagi representasi data dengan laser berintensitas tinggi. Sedangkan pembacaan menggunakan laser erintensitas rendah untuk menterjemahkan lubang mikroskopik ke dalam bentuk data yang dapat dikenali computer. Saat mengenai lubang mikroskopik, intensitas sinar laser akan berubah-ubah. Perubahan intensitas ini dideteksi oleh fotosensor dan dikonversi dalam bentuk sinyal digital.

Saat disk membaca dibagian dekat pusat disk diperlukan putaran rendah karena padatnya informasi data, sedangkan apabila data berada di bagian luar disk diperlukan kecepatan yang lebih tinggi.

Pada data CD ROM diorganisasikan sebagai sebuah rangkaian blok-blok format ini terdiri dari field-field :

· Sync : field sync mengidentifikasikan awal sebuah blok. Field terdiri dari sebuah byte yang seluruhnya nol, 10 byte yang seluruhnya satu, dan sebuah byte akhir yang seluruhnya nol.

· Header : header terdiri dari alamat blok dan byte mode. Mode nol menandakan suatu field data blanko; mode satu manandakan penggunaan kode error-correcting dan 2048 byte data; mode data menandakan 2336 byte data pengguna tanpa kode error-correcting.

· Data : data pengguna

· Auxiliary : data pengguna tambahan dalam mode dua. Pada mode satu data ini merupakan kode error-correcting 288 byte.

CD-R (Compact Disk Recordables)

Secara fisik CD-R merupakan CD Polikarbonat kosong berdiameter 120 mm sama seperti CD-ROM. Perbedaannya adanya alur-alur untuk mengarahkan laser saat penulisan.

Awalnya CD-R dilapisi emas sebagai media refleksinya. Permukaan reflektif pada lapisan emas tidak memiliki depresi atau lekukan-lekukan fisik seperti halnya pada aluminium sehingga harus dibuat tiruan lekukan antara pit dan land-nya. Caranya dengan menambahkan lapisan pewarna diantara polikarbonat dan lapisan emas. Jenis pewarna yang sering digunakan adalah cynanine yang berwarna hijau dan pthalocynine yang berwarna orange kekunung-kuningan. Pewarna ini sama seperti yang digunakan dalam film fotografi sehingga menjadikan Kodak dan Fuji produsen utama CD-R.

Sebelum digunakan pewarna bersifat transparan sehingga sinar laser berdaya tinggi dapat menembus sampai ke lapisan emas saat proses penulisan. Saat sinar laser mengenai titik pewarna, sinar ini memanaskannya sehingga pewarna terurai melepaskan ikatan kimianya membantuk suatu noda. Noda-noda inilah sebagai representasi data yang nantinya dapat dikenali oleh foto-detektor apabila disinari dengan laser berdaya rendah saat proses pembacaan.

Seperti halnya jenis CD lainnya, CD-R dipublikasikan dalam buku tersendiri yang memuat spesipikasi teknisnya yang dikenal dengan orange book. Buku ini dipublikasikan pada tahun 1989.

CD-RW (Compact Disk Rewritable)

Merupakan generasi CD yang dapat ditulis berulang kali sehingga jenis ini memiliki nilai kompetitif dibandingkan jenis lain. Karene proses penulisan berulang kali maka scara fisik berbeda dengan CD-R.

CD-RW tidak menggunakan lapisan pewarna, namun menggunakan logam paduan antara perak, indium, antimony dan tellurium.

CD-RW drive menggunakan laser dalam 3 daya berbeda :

· Laser berdaya tinggi bertugas melelehkan paduan logam untuk mengubah kondisi stabil kritalin reflektivitas inggi menjadi kondisi stabil amorf reflektivitas rendah agar menyerupai sebuah pit.

· Laser berdaya sedang menjadikan logam paduan meleleh dan berubah menjadi kondisi kristalin alamiah sebagai representasi land.

· Laser bardaya rendah digunakan dalam proses pembacaan saja.

Saat ini CD-RW elum mampu menggeser penggunaan CD-R. karena disamping harganya masih relative mahal, juga karena CD-R yang tidak dapat dihapus merupakan back up data terbaik saat ini.

DVD (Digital Versetile Disk)

Pengembangan CD untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar dalam penyimpanan memori besar. Desain DVD sama dangan CD biasa, terbuat dari polikarbonat 1,2 mm yang berisi pit dan land, disinari dioda laser dan dibaca oleh foto-detektor.

DVD lebih besar kapasitasnya, yaitu untuk sisi tunggal dan berlapis tunggan mencapai 4,7 GB. Sedangkan untuk burlaps ganda ataupun bersisi ganda akan lebih besar lagi.

Hal-hal yang baru :

· Pit-pit lebih kecil ( 0,4 mikron, atau setengahnya CD biasa)

· Spiral lebih rapat (0,74 mikron, sedangkan pada CD biasa 1,6 mikron)

· Menggunakan teknologi laser merah dengan ukuran 0,65 mikron, sedangkan pada CD biasa 0,78 mikron.

Transfer data pada DVD drive sekitar 1,4 MB/det, sedangkan CD biasa hanya 150 KB/det. Kecepatan, teknologi lasr yang berbeda menimbulkan sedikit masalah untuk kompatibilitas dengan teknologi CD maupun CD-ROM. Akan tetapi, saat ini beberapa produsen telah mengantisipasi dengan diode laser ganda ataupun tekologi lain yang memungkinkan saling kompatibel.

Piringan berlapis ganda memiliki satu lapisan reflektif pada bagian bawah yang ditutup dengan lapisan semireflektif. Lapisan bawah memiliki pit dan land yang lebih lebar agar akurat dalam pembacaan sehingga lapisan bawah berkapasitas lebih kecil daripada lapisan atasnya. Pada piringan bersisi ganda dibuat dengan melekatkan dua sisi disk.

PITA MAGNETIK

System pita magnetic menggunakan teknik pembacaan dan penulisan yang identik dengan system disk magnet. Medium pita magnetic berbentuk track-track pararel, system pita lama berjumlah 9 buah track sehingga memungkinkan penyimpanan satu byte sekali simpan dengan satu bit paritas pada track sisanya.

System pita baru menggunakan 18 atau 36 track sebagai penyesuaian terhadap lebar word dalam format digital. Seperti pada disk, pita magnetic dibaca dan ditulis dalam bentuk blok-blok yang bersambungan yang disebut physical record. Blok-blok tersebut dipisahkan oleh gap yang disebut inter-record gap.

Head pita magnetic merupakan perangkat sequential acces. Head harus menyesuaikan letak record yang akan dibaca ataupun akan ditulisi. Apabila head berada ditempat lebih atas dari record yang diinginkan maka pita perlu dimundurkan terlebih dahulu, baru dilakukan pembacaan dengan arah maju.

Sangat berbeda dengan tekologi disk yang menggunakan teknik direct acces. Kecepatan putaran pita magnetic adalah rendah. Sehingga transfer data menjadi lambat. Pita magnetic mulai ditinggalkan digantikan oleh jenis-jenis produk CD.

What is CakePHP?

CakePHP is a free open-source rapid development framework for PHP. Its a structure of libraries, classes and run-time infrastructure for programmers creating web applications originally inspired by the Ruby on Rails framework. Our primary goal is to enable you to work in a structured and rapid manner - without loss of flexibility.

History of CakePHP

In 2005, Michal Tatarynowicz wrote a minimal version of a Rapid Application Framework in PHP. He found that it was the start of a very good framework. Michal published the framework under the MIT license, dubbing it Cake, and opened it up to a community of developers, who now maintain Cake under the name CakePHP.

Introduction

This chapter is a short, casual introduction to MVC concepts as they are implemented in Cake. If you're new to MVC (Model View Controller) patterns, this chapter is definitely for you. We begin with a discussion of general MVC concepts, work our way into the specific application of MVC in CakePHP, and show some simple examples of CakePHP using the MVC pattern.

The MVC Pattern

Model-View-Controller is a software design pattern that helps you logically separate your code, make it more reusable, maintainable, and generally better. Model View Controller was first described by the author group Gang of Four. Dean Helman wrote (an extract from Objective Toolkit Pro white paper):

"The MVC paradigm is a way of breaking an application, or even just a piece of an application's interface, into three parts: the model, the view, and the controller. MVC was originally developed to map the traditional input, processing, output roles into the GUI realm.

Input -> Processing -> Output

Controller -> Model -> View

"The user input, the modeling of the external world, and the visual feedback to the user are separated and handled by model, view port and controller objects. The controller interprets mouse and keyboard inputs from the user and maps these user actions into commands that are sent to the model and/or view port to effect the appropriate change. The model manages one or more data elements, responds to queries about its state, and responds to instructions to change state. The view port manages a rectangular area of the display and is responsible for presenting data to the user through a combination of graphics and text."

In Cake terms, the Model represents a particular database table/record, and it's relationships to other tables and records. Models also contain data validation rules, which are applied when model data is inserted or updated. The View represents Cake's view files, which are regular HTML files embedded with PHP code. Cake's Controller handles requests from the server. It takes user input (URL and POST data), applies business logic, uses Models to read and write data to and from databases and other sources, and lastly, sends output data to the appropriate view file.

To make it as easy as possible to organize your application, Cake uses this pattern not only to manage how objects interact within your application, but also how files are stored, which is detailed next.

Overview of the Cake File Layout

When you unpack Cake on your server you will find three main folders -

      app       cake       vendors

The cake folder is where the core libraries for Cake lay and you generally won't ever need to touch it.

The app folder is where your application specific folders and files will go. The separation between the cake folder and the app folder make it possible for you to have many app folders sharing a single set of Cake libraries. This also makes it easy to update CakePHP: you just download the latest version of Cake and overwrite your current core libraries. No need to worry about overwriting something you wrote for your app.

You can use the vendors directory to keep third-party libraries in. You will learn more about vendors later, but the basic idea is that you can access classes you've placed in the vendors directory using Cake's vendor() function.

Installing  CakePHP
 
Getting the most recent stable  version
 There are a few ways you can secure a copy of CakePHP: getting a stable
 release from CakeForge, grabbing a nightly build, or getting a fresh version of 
 code from SVN.
 
To download a stable version of code, check out the files section of the
CakePHP project at CakeForge by going to http://cakeforge.org/projects/cakephp/.
To grab a nightly, download one from http://cakephp.org/downloads/index/nightly. 
These nightly  releases are stable, and often include the bug fixes between 
stable  releases. To grab a fresh copy from our SVN repository, use your 
favorite SVN client and connect to https://svn.cakephp.org/repo/trunk/cake/ 
and choose the version  you're after.
 
 Unpacking
 Now that you've downloaded the most recent release, place that compressed 
package on your web server in the webroot. Now you need to unpack the CakePHP 
package. 
There are two ways to do this, using a development setup, which allows  you
to easily view many CakePHP applications under a single domain, or using the 
 production setup, which allows for a single CakePHP application on the  domain.

A. HISTORY OF BOGOR
Bogor is one of the oldest cities in Indonesia, which was founded in the 16th century (in the year 1579). Before the Dutch and VOC occupation, Bogor was the center of the Kingdom of Pajajaran. But after the invasion of troops from Banten, the city was destroyed and for one century it was almost wiped out from history. By the time VOC occupied Banten and its vicinity, Bogor also fell under the control of VOC.

Parung Angsana which was named Kampung Baru (The New Village) was the origin of modern Bogor (Tanujiwa 1689-1705). In Kampung Baru, a kind of holiday residence was built by GJ. Baron Van Imhoff (1740), which is now known as the Bogor Palace. In 1745, the city was given the name Buitenzorg, which meant "beyond worry". In 1904, Buitenzorg was formally appointed as capital and residence of the Governor General of the Dutch Indies, covering an area of 1,205 hectares, and comprising 2 sub-districts (Kecamatan) and 7 villages.

In 1924, through the decree of the Governor General of the Dutch Indies Number 289 of 1924, the villages of Bantar Jati and Tegalega were added to the district, an expansion of 951 hectares, which made the area of Buitenzorg to total 2,156 hectares. The area was designed to be inhabited by 30,000 people. In 1941, Buitenzorg was formally separated from Batavia, and was given autonomy.

The Indonesian Act Number 16 of 1950 established the City of Bogor as a big city and municipality, which was divided into 2 Kecamatans and 16 neigborhoods.

Prophet Muhammad (s) was born in 570 CE in Makkah (Bakka, Baca, Mecca). His father, Abdullah, died several weeks before his birth in Yathrib (Medinah) where he went to visit his father's maternal relatives. His mother died while on the return journey from Medinah at a place called ‘Abwa’ when he was six years old. He was raised by his paternal grandfather 'Abd al Muttalib (Shaybah) until the age of eight, and after his grandfather’s death by Abu Talib, his paternal uncle. 'Abd al Muttalib's mother, Salma, was a native of Medinah and he was born and raised as a young boy in Medinah before his uncle Muttalib brought him to Makkah to succeed him. Many years before Muhammad's birth, 'Abd al Muttalib had established himself as an influential leader of the Arab tribe ‘Quraish’ in Makkah and took care of the Holy sanctuary ‘Ka’bah’. Makkah was a city state well connected to the caravan routes to Syria and Egypt in the north and northwest and Yemen in the south. Muhammad was a descendant of Prophet Ismail through the lineage of his second son Kedar.
Ka'bah is the first house of worship built on earth for the worship of Allah, the One True God. It was re-built (raised from the existing foundation) by Prophets Ibrahim (Abraham) and Ismail (Ishmael). Allah is the proper name of the One True God, creator and sustainer of the universe, who does not have a partner or associate, and He did not beget nor was He begotten. Unlike the word god, the word Allah does not have a plural or gender.
Under the guardianship of Abu Talib, Muhammad (s) began to earn a living as a businessman and a trader. At the age of twelve, he accompanied Abu Talib with a merchant caravan as far as Bostra in Syria. Muhammad was popularly known as ‘al-Ameen’ for his unimpeachable character by the Makkans and visitors alike. The title Al-Ameen means the Honest, the Reliable and the Trustworthy, and it signified the highest standard of moral and public life.
Upon hearing of Muhammad’s impressive credentials, Khadijah, a rich merchant widow, asked Muhammad (s) to take some merchandise for trade to Syria. Soon after this trip when he was twenty-five, Khadijah proposed marriage to Muhammad through a relative. Muhammad accepted the proposal. At that time, Khadijah was twice widowed and forty years old. Khadijah (ra) and Muhammad (s) were the parents of six children - four daughters and two sons. His first son Qasim died at the age of two. He was nicknamed Abul Qasim, meaning the father of Qasim. His second son Abdullah died in infancy. Abdullah was also called affectionately as ‘Tayyab’ and ‘Tahir’ because he was born after Muhammad’s prophethood. The four daughters were: Zainab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthum, and Fatimah (ra).
The Holy sanctuary Ka’bah was now filled with three hundred sixty idols. The original, pristine message of Prophet Ibrahim was lost, and it was mixed with superstitions and traditions of pilgrims and visitors from distant places, who were used to idol worship and myths. In every generation, a small group of men and women detested the pollution of Ka’bah and kept pure their practice of the religion taught by Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail. They used to spend some of their time away from this polluted environment in retreats to nearby hills.
Muhammad (s) was forty when, during his one of many retreats to Mount Hira for meditation during the month of Ramadan, he received the first revelation from the Archangel Jibril (Gabriel). On this first appearance, Gabriel (as) said to Muhammad: "Iqraa," meaning Read or Recite. Muhammad replied, "I cannot read," as he had not received any formal education and did not know how to read or write. The Angel Gabriel then embraced him until he reached the limit of his endurance and after releasing said: "Iqraa." Muhammad’s answer was the same as before. Gabriel repeated the embrace for the third time, asked him to repeat after him and said:
"Recite in the name of your Lord who created! He created man from that which clings. Recite; and thy Lord is most Bountiful, He who has taught by the pen, taught man what he knew not."
These revelations are the first five verses of Surah (chapter) 96 of the Qur’an. Thus it was in the year 610 CE the revelation began.
Muhammad (s) was terrified by the whole experience of the revelation and fled the cave of Mt. Hira [Qur'an 81:19-29]. When he reached his home, tired and frightened, he asked his wife: ‘cover me, cover me,’ in a blanket. After his awe had somewhat abated, his wife Khadijah asked him about the reason of his great anxiety and fear. She then assured him by saying: "Allah (The One God) will not let you down because you are kind to relatives, you speak only the truth, you help the poor, the orphan and the needy, and you are an honest man. Khadijah then consulted with her cousin Waraqa who was an old, saintly man possessing knowledge of previous revelations and scriptures. Waraqa confirmed to her that the visitor was none other than the Angel Gabriel who had come to Moses. He then added that Muhammad is the expected Prophet. Khadijah accepted the revelation as truth and was the first person to accept Islam. She supported her husband in every hardship, most notably during the three-year ‘boycott’ of the Prophet’s clan by the pagan Quraish. She died at the age of sixty-five in the month of Ramadan soon after the lifting of the boycott in 620 CE.
Gabriel (as) visited the Prophet as commanded by Allah revealing Ayat (meaning signs, loosely referred to as verses) in Arabic over a period of twenty-three years. The revelations that he received were sometimes a few verses, a part of a chapter or the whole chapter. Some revelations came down in response to an inquiry by the nonbelievers. The revealed verses were recorded on a variety of available materials (leather, palm leaves, bark, shoulder bones of animals), memorized as soon as they were revealed, and were recited in daily prayers by Muslims [Qur'an 80:13-16]. Angel Gabriel taught the order and arrangement of verses, and the Prophet instructed his several scribes to record verses in that order [Qur'an 75:16-19 and 41:41-42]. Once a year, the Prophet used to recite all the verses revealed to him up to that time to Gabriel to authenticate the accuracy of recitation and the order of verses [Qur'an 17:106]. All the revealed verses (over a period of 23 years and ending in 632 CE) were compiled in the book known as Qur’an. The name Qur’an appears in the revealed verses. TheQur’an does not contain even a word from the Prophet. The Qur'an speaks in the first person, i.e., Allah's commandments to His creation. Gabriel also visited the Prophet throughout his mission informing and teaching him of events and strategy as needed to help in the completion of the prophetic mission. The Prophet’s sayings, actions, and approvals are recorded separately in collections known as Hadith.
The mission of Prophet Muhammad (s) was to restore the worship of the One True God, the creator and sustainer of the universe, as taught by Prophet Ibrahim and all Prophets of God, and to demonstrate and complete the laws of moral, ethical, legal, and social conduct and all other matters of significance for the humanity at large.
The first few people who followed this message were: his cousin Ali, his servant Zayd ibn Harithah, his friend Abu Bakr and his wife and daughters. They accepted Islam by testifyingthat:
"There is no Deity (worthy of worship) except Allah (The One True God) and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."
Islam means peace by submission and obedience to the Will and Commandments of God and those who accept Islam are called Muslims, meaning those who have accepted the message of peace by submission to God.
In the first three years of his mission forty people (men and women) accepted Islam. This small group comprised of youth as well as older people from a wide range of economic and social background. The Prophet was directed by a recent revelation to start preaching Islam to everyone. He then began to recite revelations to people in public and invite them to Islam. The Quraish, leaders of Makkah, took his preaching with hostility. The most hostile and closest to the prophet was his uncle Abu Lahab and his wife. Initially, they and other leaders of Quraish tried to bribe him with money and power including an offer to make him king if he were to abandon his message. When this did not work, they tried to convince his uncle Abu Talib to accept the best young man of Makkah in place of Muhammad and to allow them to kill Muhammad. His uncle tried to persuade the Prophet to stop preaching but the Prophet said: "O uncle, if they were to put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left hand to stop me from preaching Islam, I would never stop. I will keep preaching until Allah makes Islam prevail or I die."
The Quraish began to persecute Muslims by beating, torture and boycott of their businesses. Those who were weak, poor or slaves were publicly tortured. The first person to die by this means was a Muslim women by the name Umm Ammar (the mother of Ammar Ibn Yasir). The Muslims from well-to-do families were physically restrained in their homes with the condition that if they recant they will be allowed freedom of movement. The Prophet was publicly ridiculed and humiliated including frequent throwing of filth on him in the street and while he prayed in the Ka’bah. In spite of great hardships and no apparent support, the message of Islam kept all Muslims firm in their belief. The Prophet was asked by God to be patient and to preach the message of Qur’an. He advised Muslims to remain patient because he did not receive any revelation yet to retaliate against their persecutors. [Persecution]
When the persecution became unbearable for most Muslims, the Prophet advised them in the fifth year of his mission (615 CE) to emigrate to Abyssinia (modern Ethiopia) where Ashabah (Negus, a Christian) was the ruler. Eighty people, not counting the small children, emigrated in small groups to avoid detection. No sooner had they left the Arabian coastline, the leaders of Quraish discovered their flight. They decided to not leave these Muslims in peace, and immediately sent two of their envoys to Negus to bring all of them back. However, Negus allowed them to stay under his protection after he investigated Muslim belief and heard the revelations about Jesus and Mary (peace be upon them both), which appears in Chapter 19, entitled Mary, of the Qur’an. The emigrants were allowed freedom of worship in Abyssinia.
The Quraish then made life even more difficult for the Prophet by implementing total ban on contact with the Prophet’s family (Bani Hashim and Muttalib). The ban lasted for three years without the desired effect. Just before the ban was lifted, the Prophet was contacted by the leaders of Quraish to agree to a compromise under which they should all practice both religions (i.e., Islam and Idolatry). Upon hearing this, the Prophet recited a revelation (Chapter 109) he had just received and which ends with the words: "... For you your religion and for me mine." The ban was lifted when leaders of Quraish discovered that their secret document on the terms of ban, which they had stored in Ka’bah, was eaten by worms and all that was left were the opening words ‘In Your name, O Allah.’ The effects of the three-year boycott left the Prophet with more personal sorrow when he lost his beloved wife Khadijah (ra) and uncle Abu Talib soon after the ban was lifted.
After Khadijah's death in 620 CE, the Prophet married a widowed Muslim woman, Sawdah (ra) who was fifty years old. She and her husband had emigrated to Abyssinia in the early years of persecution. After her husband died, she came back to Makkah and sought Prophet’s shelter. The Prophet, recognizing her sacrifices for Islam, extended his shelter by marrying her. Later in the same year, the Prophet upon receiving the divine command in a dream, after approval of Sawdah, contracted marriage to A’ishah, the daughter of his dear companionAbu Bakr. She joined the Prophet in Medinah, completing the marriage contract. Sawdah and A’ishah (ra) were the only wives until he was fifty-six years old.
After the death of his uncle Abu Talib, the Prophet went to Taif (about 50 miles east, southeast of Makkah) to seek their protection. They flatly refused and mocked at him, and severely injured him by inciting their children to throw stones at him. Gabriel (as) visited the Prophet here suggesting that the angels were ready to destroy the town if he were to ask Allah for the punishment. Nevertheless, the Prophet declined and prayed for future generations of Taif to accept Islam [Taif]. It was on the return journey from Taif that the verses from Surah Al Jinn (Chapter 72) were revealed. It indicated that the Qur’an is a book of guidance to both the Jinns and Humankind.
Soon after the terrible disappointment at Ta’if, the prophet experienced the events of al-Israa and al-Miraaj (621 CE). In the Al-Israa, Gabriel (as) took the Prophet from the sacred Mosque near Ka’bah to the furthest (al-Aqsa) mosque in Jerusalem in a very short time in the latter part of a night. Here, Prophet Muhammad met with previous Prophets (Abraham, Moses, Jesus and others) and he led them in prayer. After this, in Al-Miraj, the Prophet was taken up to heavens to show the signs of God [More... The Dome of the Rock]. It was on this journey that five daily prayers were prescribed. He was then taken back to Ka’bah, the whole experience lasting a few hours of a night. Upon hearing this, the people of Makkah mocked at him. However, when his specific description of Jerusalem, other things on the way, and the caravan that he saw on this journey including its expected arrival in Makkah turned out to be true, the ridicule of the nonbelievers stopped. The event of Israa and Miraaj is mentioned in the Qur’an - the first verse of Chapter 17 entitled ‘The Children of Israel.’
In 622 CE, the leaders of the Quraish decided to kill the Prophet and they developed a plan in which one man was chosen from each of the Quraish tribes and they were to attack the Prophet simultaneously. Gabriel informed the Prophet of the plan and instructed him to leave Makkah immediately. The Prophet, after making arrangements to return the properties entrusted to him by several nonbelievers, left with Abu Bakr in the night he was to be assassinated. They went south of Makkah to a mountain cave of Thawr [see Qur'an 9:40], and after staying three nights they traveled north to Yathrib (Medinah) about two hundred fifty miles from Makkah. Upon discovery of his escape, the leaders of Quraish put up a reward of one hundred camels on him, dead or alive. In spite of all their best scouts and search parties, Allah protected the Prophet and he arrived safely in Quba, a suburb of Medinah [Qur'an 28:85]. This event is known as the ‘Hijra’ (migration) and the Islamic calendar begins with this event. The people of Aws and Khazraj in Medinah greeted him with great enthusiasm in accordance with their pledge made at Aqaba less than a year ago during the annual pilgrimage. One by one those Muslims (men and women) of Makkah who were not physically restrained, and who could make a secret exit, left for Medinah leaving behind their properties and homes.
To insure the peace and tranquility, the Prophet proposed a treaty defining terms of conduct for all inhabitants of Medinah. It was ratified by all - Muslims, non-Muslim Arabs and Jews. After his emigration to Medinah, the enemies of Islam increased their assault from all sides. The Battles of Badr, Uhud and Allies (Trench) were fought near or around Medinah. In these battles until the year 627 CE, the nonbelievers with encouragement from Jews and other Arabian tribes attacked the Prophet and Muslim community. The Muslims while defending their city and religion lost many men, which resulted in many widowed Muslim women and numerous orphaned children. In these circumstances, Prophet Muhammad (s) married several women during fifty-sixth year up to the sixtieth year of his life. He did not contract any marriage in the last three years of his life, following the revelation limiting the number of wives up to a maximum of four. This is the first time in the history of revealed scriptures that a limit on the number of wives was imposed and the terms of conduct were specified. The Prophet was instructed not to divorce any of his wives after this revelation [Qur'an 33:52]. All of the ladies he took as wives were either widowed or divorced, except A’ishah.
The Prophet married Umm Salamah (ra) in 626 CE. Her husband had died of wounds inflicted in the Battle of Uhud (625 CE). When the Prophet asked her for marriage, she replied: "O Messenger of God, I suffer from three shortcomings. I am a very jealous woman, and I am afraid this might cause me to do things that you dislike. Secondly, I am an old woman. Finally, I have many children." The Prophet answered: "Regarding your jealousy, I pray to God to remove it from you. As for your age, we are similar in age. As for the children, your children are mine." Thus it was that she agreed to marry the Prophet. The Prophet’s marriage contract with Umm Habibah (ra) was solemnized, by proxy, by Negus, King of Abyssinia, in 628 CE.
Two of his wives, Juwayriah and Safiyah, were prisoners of war. Both belonged to the family of the chief of their tribes and were set free by the Prophet; they then gladly accepted Islam and were pleased to become the Prophet’s wives. The Prophet’s marriages provided security to women who would have otherwise remained unmarried, unprotected, or felt humiliated. His marriages were also a means of transmitting important teachings of Islam. The Prophet's wives, called the "Mothers of the Believers,"[Qur'an Surah 33, Verse 6 and the last part of Verse 53] showed themselves as examples of proper Muslim womanhood. All his wives, especially 'Aishah, transmitted many ahadith (sayings, deeds, and actions) from Prophet Muhammad (s).
A year after the Battle of Allies (Trench), the Prophet and fifteen hundred of his companions left for Makkah to perform the annual pilgrimage (628 CE). They were barred from approaching the city at Hudaybiyah, where after some negotiations a treaty was signed allowing for them to come next year. This treaty facilitated exchange of ideas among the people of the whole region without interference. Many delegations from all regions of Arabia came to the Prophet to investigate the teachings of Islam, and a large number of people accepted Islam within a couple of years. The Prophet sent many of his companions (who memorized the Qur'an by heart) to new communities to instruct them about the practice of Islam. More than fifty of them were murdered by non-believers.
A few weeks after Hudaybiyah the Prophet sent letters to several kings and rulers (including the two superpowers - Byzantines and Persians) inviting them to Islam. Negus, the king of Abyssinia, and the Ruler of Bahrain accepted Islam, and Emperor Heraclius acknowledged Muhammad’s Prophethood. Among rulers who accepted Islam but without any initiative from the Prophet was Chakrawati Farmas, a Hindu King of Malabar (located on the southwest coast of India).
About two years later at the end of 629 CE, the Quraish violated the terms of the Treaty of Hudaybiyah by helping Banu Bakr in the surprise attack on Bani Khuza’ah who were allied with the Prophet. Some of Bani Khuzah’s men escaped and took shelter in Makkah and they sought redress. However, the leaders of Quraish did nothing. They then sent a message to the Prophet for help.
The Prophet, after confirming all the reports of the attack and subsequent events, marched to Makkah with an army consisting of three thousand Muslims of Medinah and Muslims from other Arab communities that joined him on the way totaling ten thousand Muslims. Before entering the city he sent word to citizens of Makkah that anyone who remained in his home, or in Abu Sufyan’s home, or in the Ka’bah would be safe. The army entered Makkah without fighting and the Prophet went directly to the Ka’bah. He magnified Allah for the triumphant entry in the Holy city. The Prophet pointed at each idol with a stick he had in his hand and said, "Truth has come and Falsehood will neither start nor will it reappear" [Qur'an 17:81]. And one by one the idols fell down. The Ka’bah was then cleansed by the removal of all three hundred sixty idols, and it was restored to its pristine status for the worship of One True God (as built by Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail).
The people of the city expected general slaughter in view of their persecution and torture of Muslims for the past twenty years. While standing by the Ka'bah, the Prophet (s) promised clemency for the Makkans, stating: "O Quraish, what do you think that I am about to do with you?" They replied, "Good. You are a noble brother, son of a noble brother." The Prophet forgave them all saying:
"I will treat you as Prophet Yousuf (Joseph) treated his brothers. There is no reproach against you. Go to your homes, and you are all free."
The Prophet also declared:
Allah made Makkah holy the day He created heavens and earth, and it is the holy of holies until the Resurrection Day. It is not lawful for anyone who believes in Allah and the last day to shed blood therein, nor to cut down trees therein. It was not lawful to anyone before me and it will not be lawful to anyone after me.
The people of Makkah then accepted Islam including the staunch enemies of the Prophet. A few of the staunchest enemies and military commanders had fled Makkah after his entry. However, when they received the Prophet’s assurance of no retaliation and no compulsion in religion, they came back and gradually the message of Islam won their hearts. Within a year (630 CE), almost all Arabia accepted Islam. Among the Prophet’s close companions were Muslims from such diverse background as Persia, Abyssinia, Syria and Rome. Several prominent Jewish Rabbis, Christian bishop and clergymen accepted Islam after discussions with the Prophet.
One night in March 630 CE, Angel Gabriel visited the Prophet and addressed him as: "O father of Ibrahim." A few hours later, the Prophet received the news of the birth of his son from his wife Mariah, and the Prophet named him Ibrahim. He was the only child born after the six children from Prophet’s first wife Khadijah. Ibrahim died when he was ten months old. On the day of Ibrahim's death, there was an eclipse of the sun. When some people began to attribute it to the Prophet's bereavement, he said: "The sun and the moon are two signs of the signs of God. Their light is not dimmed for any man's death. If you see them eclipsed, you should pray until they be clear."
The great change in Arabia alarmed the two superpowers, Byzantines and Persians. Their Governors, particularly the Byzantines, reacted with threats to attack Medinah. Instead of waiting, the prophet sent a small army to defend the northmost border of Arabia. In the remaining life of the Prophet, all of the major battles were fought on the northern front. The Prophet did not have a standing army. Whenever he received a threat, he called the Muslims and discussed with them the situation and gathered volunteers to fight any aggression.
The Prophet performed his first and last pilgrimage in 632 CE. One hundred twenty-thousand men and women performed pilgrimage that year with him. The Prophet received the last revelation during this pilgrimage. Two months later, Prophet Muhammad (s) fell ill and after several days died on Monday, 12 Rabi al-Awwal, the eleventh year after Hijra (June 8, 632 CE) in Medinah. He is buried in the same place where he died.
Prophet Muhammad lived a most simple, austere and modest life. He and his family used to go without cooked meal several days at a time, relying only on dates, dried bread and water. During the day he was the busiest man, as he performed his duties in many roles all at once as head of state, chief justice, commander-in-chief, arbitrator, instructor and family man. He was the most devoted man at night. He used to spend one- to two-thirds of every night in prayer and meditation. The Prophet's possession consisted of mats, blankets, jugs and other simple things even when he was the virtual ruler of Arabia. He left nothing to be inherited except a white mule (a gift from Muqawqis), few ammunition and a piece of land that he had made a gift during his life time. Among his last words were: "We the community of Prophets are not inherited. Whatever we leave is for charity."
Muhammad (s) was a man and a messenger of Allah (The One God). He is the last of the prophets [Qur'an 33:40] sent by Allah to guide man to the right path; Adam was the first Prophet. The Qur’an mentions twenty-five Prophets by name and provides a great insight of their mission, struggle and their communities. The Qur’an exonerates prophets from charges leveled against them in previous Scriptures. The Qur’an also mentions four previously revealed Scriptures: Suhoof (Pages) of Ibrahim (Abraham), Taurat ('Torah') as revealed to Prophet Moses, Zuboor ('Psalms') as revealed to Prophet David, and Injeel ('Evangel') as revealed to Prophet Jesus (pbuh). Islam requires belief in all prophets and revealed scriptures (original, non-corrupted) as part of the Articles of Faith. Muhammad (s) is greatly respected as the model of Qur’anic behavior. Muslims mention his name by adding "peace be upon him," a phrase used with the name of all prophets [e.g., Qur'an Surah 37: verses 79, 109, 120 and 130; also 33:56]. All sincere Muslims try to follow the Qur’an and the Prophet’s example to minute details. The account of every aspect of his life has been preserved (numerous daily accounts including his family life). Prophet Muhammad (s) has served as an example for all Muslims in all periods to modern times. He will remain a model example for all of humanity.
At the end of his mission, the Prophet was blessed with several hundred thousand followers (men and women) of Islam. Thousands prayed with him at the mosque and listened to his sermon. Hundreds of sincere Muslims would find every opportunity to be with him following five daily prayers and at other times. They used to seek his advice for their everyday problems, and listened attentively to the interpretation and application of revealed verses to their situation. They followed the message of the Qur’an and the Messenger of Allah with utmost sincerity, and supported him with every thing they had. The most excellent among them are Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman, Ali, Talha, Zubair, 'Abdur Rahman ibn Auf, S'ad bin Abi Waqqas, S'ad bin Zaid, Abu 'Ubeidah, Hasan, Hussain, and several dozen others. They faithfully carried the message of Islam after the Prophet, and within ninety years the light of Islam reached Spain, North Africa, the Caucasus, northwest China and India.

Gunung salak (SALAK MOUNTAIN)

Gunung Salak is a volcano located on the island of Java, Indonesia. Mountain has some of the peak, of which Peak Salak Salak I and II. Geography of the mountain is at 6 ° 43 'LS and 106 ° 44' BT. Highest peak I Salak Salak 2211 m and 2180 m dpl II. There one more peak called Peak Sumbul with a height of 1926 m dpl.

Vulkanologi and geology

Around 1886 Albert Einstein began his school career in Munich. As well as his violin lessons, which he had from age six to age thirteen, he also had religious education at home where he was taught Judaism. Two years later he entered the Luitpold Gymnasium and after this his religious education was given at school. He studied mathematics, in particular the calculus, beginning around 1891.

In 1894 Einstein's family moved to Milan but Einstein remained in Munich. In 1895 Einstein failed an examination that would have allowed him to study for a diploma as an electrical engineer at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zurich. Einstein renounced German citizenship in 1896 and was to be stateless for a number of years. He did not even apply for Swiss citizenship until 1899, citizenship being granted in 1901.

Following the failing of the entrance exam to the ETH, Einstein attended secondary school at Aarau planning to use this route to enter the ETH in Zurich. While at Aarau he wrote an essay (for which was only given a little above half marks!) in which he wrote of his plans for the future, see [13]:-

If I were to have the good fortune to pass my examinations, I would go to Zurich. I would stay there for four years in order to study mathematics and physics. I imagine myself becoming a teacher in those branches of the natural sciences, choosing the theoretical part of them. Here are the reasons which lead me to this plan. Above all, it is my disposition for abstract and mathematical thought, and my lack of imagination and practical ability.

Indeed Einstein succeeded with his plan graduating in 1900 as a teacher of mathematics and physics. One of his friends at ETH was Marcel Grossmann who was in the same class as Einstein. Einstein tried to obtain a post, writing to Hurwitz who held out some hope of a position but nothing came of it. Three of Einstein's fellow students, including Grossmann, were appointed assistants at ETH in Zurich but clearly Einstein had not impressed enough and still in 1901 he was writing round universities in the hope of obtaining a job, but without success.

He did manage to avoid Swiss military service on the grounds that he had flat feet and varicose veins. By mid 1901 he had a temporary job as a teacher, teaching mathematics at the Technical High School in Winterthur. Around this time he wrote:-

I have given up the ambition to get to a university ...

Another temporary position teaching in a private school in Schaffhausen followed. Then Grossmann's father tried to help Einstein get a job by recommending him to the director of the patent office in Bern. Einstein was appointed as a technical expert third class.

Einstein worked in this patent office from 1902 to 1909, holding a temporary post when he was first appointed, but by 1904 the position was made permanent and in 1906 he was promoted to technical expert second class. While in the Bern patent office he completed an astonishing range of theoretical physics publications, written in his spare time without the benefit of close contact with scientific literature or colleagues.

Einstein earned a doctorate from the University of Zurich in 1905 for a thesis On a new determination of molecular dimensions. He dedicated the thesis to Grossmann.

In the first of three papers, all written in 1905, Einstein examined the phenomenon discovered by Max Planck, according to which electromagnetic energy seemed to be emitted from radiating objects in discrete quantities. The energy of these quanta was directly proportional to the frequency of the radiation. This seemed to contradict classical electromagnetic theory, based on Maxwell's equations and the laws of thermodynamics which assumed that electromagnetic energy consisted of waves which could contain any small amount of energy. Einstein used Planck's quantum hypothesis to describe the electromagnetic radiation of light.

Einstein's second 1905 paper proposed what is today called the special theory of relativity. He based his new theory on a reinterpretation of the classical principle of relativity, namely that the laws of physics had to have the same form in any frame of reference. As a second fundamental hypothesis, Einstein assumed that the speed of light remained constant in all frames of reference, as required by Maxwell's theory.

Later in 1905 Einstein showed how mass and energy were equivalent. Einstein was not the first to propose all the components of special theory of relativity. His contribution is unifying important parts of classical mechanics and Maxwell's electrodynamics.

The third of Einstein's papers of 1905 concerned statistical mechanics, a field of that had been studied by Ludwig Boltzmann and Josiah Gibbs.

After 1905 Einstein continued working in the areas described above. He made important contributions to quantum theory, but he sought to extend the special theory of relativity to phenomena involving acceleration. The key appeared in 1907 with the principle of equivalence, in which gravitational acceleration was held to be indistinguishable from acceleration caused by mechanical forces. Gravitational mass was therefore identical with inertial mass.

In 1908 Einstein became a lecturer at the University of Bern after submitting his Habilitation thesis Consequences for the constitution of radiation following from the energy distribution law of black bodies. The following year he become professor of physics at the University of Zurich, having resigned his lectureship at Bern and his job in the patent office in Bern.

By 1909 Einstein was recognised as a leading scientific thinker and in that year he resigned from the patent office. He was appointed a full professor at the Karl-Ferdinand University in Prague in 1911. In fact 1911 was a very significant year for Einstein since he was able to make preliminary predictions about how a ray of light from a distant star, passing near the Sun, would appear to be bent slightly, in the direction of the Sun. This would be highly significant as it would lead to the first experimental evidence in favour of Einstein's theory.

About 1912, Einstein began a new phase of his gravitational research, with the help of his mathematician friend Marcel Grossmann, by expressing his work in terms of the tensor calculus of Tullio Levi-Civita and Gregorio Ricci-Curbastro. Einstein called his new work the general theory of relativity. He moved from Prague to Zurich in 1912 to take up a chair at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zurich.

Einstein returned to Germany in 1914 but did not reapply for German citizenship. What he accepted was an impressive offer. It was a research position in the Prussian Academy of Sciences together with a chair (but no teaching duties) at the University of Berlin. He was also offered the directorship of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute of Physics in Berlin which was about to be established.

After a number of false starts Einstein published, late in 1915, the definitive version of general theory. Just before publishing this work he lectured on general relativity at Göttingen and he wrote:-

To my great joy, I completely succeeded in convincing Hilbert and Klein.

In fact Hilbert submitted for publication, a week before Einstein completed his work, a paper which contains the correct field equations of general relativity.

When British eclipse expeditions in 1919 confirmed his predictions, Einstein was idolised by the popular press. The London Times ran the headline on 7 November 1919:-

Revolution in science - New theory of the Universe - Newtonian ideas overthrown.

In 1920 Einstein's lectures in Berlin were disrupted by demonstrations which, although officially denied, were almost certainly anti-Jewish. Certainly there were strong feelings expressed against his works during this period which Einstein replied to in the press quoting Lorentz, Planck and Eddington as supporting his theories and stating that certain Germans would have attacked them if he had been:-

... a German national with or without swastika instead of a Jew with liberal international convictions...

During 1921 Einstein made his first visit to the United States. His main reason was to raise funds for the planned Hebrew University of Jerusalem. However he received the Barnard Medal during his visit and lectured several times on relativity. He is reported to have commented to the chairman at the lecture he gave in a large hall at Princeton which was overflowing with people:-

I never realised that so many Americans were interested in tensor analysis.

Einstein received the Nobel Prize in 1921 but not for relativity rather for his 1905 work on the photoelectric effect. In fact he was not present in December 1922 to receive the prize being on a voyage to Japan. Around this time he made many international visits. He had visited Paris earlier in 1922 and during 1923 he visited Palestine. After making his last major scientific discovery on the association of waves with matter in 1924 he made further visits in 1925, this time to South America.

Among further honours which Einstein received were the Copley Medal of the Royal Society in 1925 and the Gold Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society in 1926.

Niels Bohr and Einstein were to carry on a debate on quantum theory which began at the Solvay Conference in 1927. Planck, Niels Bohr, de Broglie, Heisenberg, Schrödinger and Dirac were at this conference, in addition to Einstein. Einstein had declined to give a paper at the conference and:-

... said hardly anything beyond presenting a very simple objection to the probability interpretation .... Then he fell back into silence ...

Indeed Einstein's life had been hectic and he was to pay the price in 1928 with a physical collapse brought on through overwork. However he made a full recovery despite having to take things easy throughout 1928.

By 1930 he was making international visits again, back to the United States. A third visit to the United States in 1932 was followed by the offer of a post at Princeton. The idea was that Einstein would spend seven months a year in Berlin, five months at Princeton. Einstein accepted and left Germany in December 1932 for the United States. The following month the Nazis came to power in Germany and Einstein was never to return there.

During 1933 Einstein travelled in Europe visiting Oxford, Glasgow, Brussels and Zurich. Offers of academic posts which he had found it so hard to get in 1901, were plentiful. He received offers from Jerusalem, Leiden, Oxford, Madrid and Paris.

What was intended only as a visit became a permanent arrangement by 1935 when he applied and was granted permanent residency in the United States. At Princeton his work attempted to unify the laws of physics. However he was attempting problems of great depth and he wrote:-

I have locked myself into quite hopeless scientific problems - the more so since, as an elderly man, I have remained estranged from the society here...

In 1940 Einstein became a citizen of the United States, but chose to retain his Swiss citizenship. He made many contributions to peace during his life. In 1944 he made a contribution to the war effort by hand writing his 1905 paper on special relativity and putting it up for auction. It raised six million dollars, the manuscript today being in the Library of Congress.

By 1949 Einstein was unwell. A spell in hospital helped him recover but he began to prepare for death by drawing up his will in 1950. He left his scientific papers to the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, a university which he had raised funds for on his first visit to the USA, served as a governor of the university from 1925 to 1928 but he had turned down the offer of a post in 1933 as he was very critical of its administration.

One more major event was to take place in his life. After the death of the first president of Israel in 1952, the Israeli government decided to offer the post of second president to Einstein. He refused but found the offer an embarrassment since it was hard for him to refuse without causing offence.

One week before his death Einstein signed his last letter. It was a letter to Bertrand Russell in which he agreed that his name should go on a manifesto urging all nations to give up nuclear weapons. It is fitting that one of his last acts was to argue, as he had done all his life, for international peace.

Einstein was cremated at Trenton, New Jersey at 4 pm on 18 April 1955 (the day of his death). His ashes were scattered at an undisclosed place.
