Participants from area colleges, universities and high schools are encouraged to volunteer throughout the year. Their mission is to carry a message of hope and inspiration to children and families who are disadvantaged due to poverty, lack of education, single parenthood, poor health and other misfortunes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This highly acclaimed program has expanded to New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas Chicago, Boston and Jamaica.
