This DIYLady has the ~~amazing~~, oh... Sorry, I mean the Stunning Polishes from Zoya's summer 2013 Collection, called the... Stunning Collection. lol.

You'll see that this collection was accurately named as you view the swatches below.

First up, here's a collage of all six beauties.

Next up is Rocky. Love this blue so much.

It makes me want to be by a beach somewhere.

Isn't this so pretty.

And here is Yana.

Such a pretty pink with dare-I-say Coral undertones!

The shine/shimmer in this is gorgeous in person.

And next is Thandie.
Orange! Perfect for summer!

I Love that this isn't neon but is still very bright.

Next up is this beauty called Darcy.

Talk about a BRIGHT yellow. This is bright, not mustard! I LOVE IT for summer!

And to make this even better is the fact that it has an AMAZING, I mean AMAZING formula for a Yellow!!!

What you see here is two coats of pure perfection. WITH NO TOPCOAT!
I did one thin coat, and leveled it out with another thick coat. Which spread like butter and was smooth!

Just so you can see I didn't glob on lots of coats to even it out.. look at it from this angle.

Here is Zoya - Micky
This is a soft pink. Micky though? Maybe Minnie? Lol.. But yes, if I had a little girl, I'd definitely paint her toes with this color!!!

It's girly and summery and fun.

And Last but not the least here is Josie.

I thought this was a bit darker looking through the bottle but on the nail, it's actually a bit light and cheery! Which makes me love it, and also makes it my favorite from this collection!

It's a perfect cream polish, so gorgeous!!!

Ohh Josie! You have my heart!

Overall thoughts?
These have an amazing formula. I'll say it again, these have a very lovely formula. Everything here is two coat and I didn't use topcoat for either of them because I wanted to show them in their true finish. I am even more impressed with the yellow in this collection.

All of these colors are true to the name of this collection - STUNNING.

Look Of The Day: Blue Statement Necklace From Burlington

Hello Sugars!
On The blog today is a style post.
As you know, Once in a while I like to share pictures of what I wore and blah blah.

Anyhoo, the LOTD today is brought to you courtesy of a necklace I recently purchased from Burlington Coat Factory. Y'all know that's my Store! Lol.. I saw the necklace and was like GIVE ME!!!
I bought it and I was itching to wear it, so, this past Saturday I put together a look, making sure NOT to take attention away from the necklace. Yes, I wanted the necklace to be the CENTER of attention. lol..

Though, since I love being matchy matchy... I went all out on my eye makeup, because I wanted colors that'll compliment the necklace. My nails also sort of matched the necklace.
Enough talking, lets get into pictures!

I am in love with this necklace. The color is just amazing to me!

And Here's my full Outfit. What better way to keep attention ON the necklace than in black? Yeppers!

And on my nails is Kleancolor - Blue Beach. Pretty color.

I chose to wear gold shoes and bracelet to pull everything together - since the necklace has some gold in it.

Swatches, Review & Nail Art: Zoya - Summer 2013 PixieDust Collection

Today on the blog I have swatches of the amazing textured nail polishes called Pixie Dusts by Zoya. These are for summer 2013 and they are full of bright cheery colors.

First up is Zoya - Miranda
This is sort of a pink near light red polish. Love the color, love the finish.

Next is Zoya - Beatrix.

Orange and yummy looking. Careful though, this is a nail polish, so do not lick. Lol..

Next is Zoya - Destiny.

This polish was certainly destined to freak out my camera. Lol.. I couldn't capture its true color for the life of me. Think Coral with sparks. and a tiny bit red undertone.

Next up is Zoya - Liberty
Oh Such a beauty. Blue perfection. I blogged about this in THIS POST for Autism awareness.

Next is Zoya - Solange
Love the name and the color. GOLD. Straight up on your nails.

Lovely Pixiedust formula.

And last but certainly not the least is the polish that made me excited for this whole Pixiedust Summer Collection.

Meet Zoya - Stevie.
Purple and so pretty!

I LOVE THIS polish!!!

And since I wanted to do something with these beauties, I opted for a tape mani.

I started off simple with just an accent nail. Using Miranda in a diagonal tape mani.

Then I literally went Striping tape crazy...
I had no goal in mind and I think that's very evident in my result. Lol..

Overall thoughts?

These have an amazing formula, they were all opaque in two coats, and dried to the matte textured finish.

I wore Stevie for 4 days straight and only had minor tip wear. That's great! Nothing is as amazing as Textured, Matte, Sparkly, long lasting goodness.

Colores De Carol - Blueberry Mango Sorbet Swatches + How I wore it

Hello Loves,

Today I have swatches of another Colores De Carol Polish called Blueberry Mango Sorbet for you all.

I have previously reviewed two other polishes by Colores De Carol called Carnation and Inner Princess, and those two were milky/white based, so I was excited to review this one that isn't.

Blueberry Mango Sorbet is a Brown/taupe base glitter polish that has red and blue glitters in it. I love the red square shaped glitters so much.

What you see here is 3 thin coats. Two was enough but I added a 3rd for good measure. Then topcoat,
I am not a huge fan of "Nude" polishes, so I was bit unpleased with this at first, but then it grew on me and enjoy it because it has colorful glitters in it! Certainly a nude I don't mind wearing now. Lol

Since I did a little bit of something funky with the other two CDC polishes I swatched, I decided not to leave this one hanging, so I did what you see below.

With Zoya - Rocky from their summer 2013 stunning collection. And then I added some nail art thingies I think I won in a giveaway or was given by one of the lovely ladies I've made friends with in this nail world. :-)

Either way, I loved my end result. The Blue that is Rocky totally compliments the blue in Blueberry Mango Sorbet and I couldn't be happier!!

Colores De Carol - Inner Princess Swatches + Skittlette with BPS Silver Square Studs

Hello Love Muffins!

How are y'all doing this pretty day?

On the blog is another Colores De Carol Polish that I later on paired with some silver square studs from born Pretty Store. This post is packed and I love both of these items that were provided for my review.

First up are swatches of Colores De Carol - Inner princess. This is a White Milky based polish with glitters in many shapes and colors in it. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that there were even star shaped glitters in this.

What you see in my swatches are three thin coats of Inner Princess. I wanted to layer it over white like I did Carnation, but I just Loved the embedded glitter sandwich look this gave, that I couldn't bring myself to layer just one coat over white. This is beautiful with three thin coats.

Oh, and I hope you see the Star shaped glitters I mentioned? Two came out to play and I was very pleased, especially since I didn't even think there were any in the bottle. Now I want more star shaped glitters. lol

Next up, I decided to wear this polish in a more funky way!
So I whipped out Zoya - Yana and some Silver square studs from Born Pretty Store, and Got to work!

Here are the studs from BPS, quite a lot of them in a bag.

Do You like my finished result? I am so in love with skittlettes lately! I still like two nails looking alike though..

The studs were very easy to apply and I actually used topcoat to seal them in. First I applied a topcoat and did the first line of studs, then I applied topcoat to the side of that first line, and added more studs. After all that, I sealed it all in with two generous coat of Topcoat.
To pick up my studs, I used a dotting tool dipped in topcoat. Repeating the topcoat dipping whenever necessary.

And This Inner princess might actually be A rock star. Lol...
Confession: The slanted look of the Studs was definitely NOT intentional. I certainly don't have a good idea of what a straight line is. Lol.. I wanted these to run straight down the middle of my nails, but uhmmm, that didn't happen. LOL.. We'll call this an intentional design for the purpose of this post though. Lol..

Zoya - Liberty For Autism Awareness

I hope everyone is doing great today.
On the blog today, I have a blue polish by Zoya - called Liberty in honor of this month of April - which is Autism awareness month.
Last Year, I created This Autism Awareness mani, also using two zoya nail polishes, and for this year, I couldn't even think of another blue to choose aside from Liberty!

Liberty is from Zoya's Summer 2013 PixieDust Collection, and it was love at first application on my nails!

In case you don't know, the color Blue is associated with Autism and that's why I chose this polish.

Swatches and Review: Hard Candy - Tinsel Town and Black Tie Optional

Hello Darlings!

Hope your day is going well so far...

On the Blog today are two polishes by Hard Candy.

Called Tinsel Town and Black Tie Optional.

First up is Hard Candy - Tinsel Town.

Here I layered two coats over Zoya - Hazel

Tinsel Town is a light blue based polish with bar glitters in it. Application was lovely and the bar glitters didn't curl up or refuse to lay down.

Next Up is Hard Candy - Black Tie Optional.
This is a black and white glitter bomb in clear base!
For my swatches, I wanted to layer this over a color we haven't really seen B&W polishes layered on! I've seen the B&W polishes layered on so many colors, but not really Gold.

So I chose Zoya - Kerry as my base color. I must say, I LOVE the result and this look so Wonderful in real life. It's like a splattered nail art on amazing Gold canvas! LOVE!

Overall thoughts?

Hard Candy continues to WOW me. Bar glitters like Tinsel Town aren't usually my cup of tea, but since the formula was lovely, I am actually not complaining.

And of course, This DIYLady loves any Black and White Glitter Topcoat she can get her hands on!

Review & Nail Arts: Pueen Cosmetics - 2013 Stamping Plates

How is it going darlings? I hope y'all are doing mighty fine!!!

It's a Review and Nail Art kind of day over here. Y'all know by now that when I say Nail Art, some sort of stamping has to be involved!!!

Well, Cue in the Pueen Stamping Plates that were generously provided to me for review.

These came in a set of 25 Stamping Plates.

Before I continue on with this review, I must mention, one of my favorite things about this set of stamping plates is that each plate has FOUR Full Images!!! I don't think there has been a set of plates that came with full images on every plate in the collection.

And now, here's a look at how the plates came to me. Each plate came in the Pueen plastic bag.

As with most stamping plates, the plates also come with a Blue plastic cover one must remove before attempting to use the plate.

Behind each image plate is the Image of Pueen, and their Website. <--- Website in Italics because it's not really active right now.

And Now let's get to the Images!! PLEASE REMEMBER YOU CAN CLICK EACH OF THESE IMAGES TO VIEW THEM LARGER.

Do You see what I mean when I stated that Each Plate has FOUR FULL Images?? I am really impressed by that! The little images didn't need their own plates, which sort of gives you more images for your buck!

The Curved bottoms makes each image perfect for a french tip design.

I Love this last plate so very much.

Here's a comparison of the Pueen Plate with some other common stamping plates.

If you look at the above picture, you'll see that The Pueen Plates have images that are long and wide. They also have the curve at the bottom that makes each image appropriate for a french mani - Just like with Gals Plate, and Cheeky plates.

I felt the images in the Pueen plates were slightly longer than the gals plate images. Just a wee bit.

And the images on the Pueen plate are clearly wider and longer than the Red Angel (RA) plates.

And as much as I love my MASH Plates, I really wish they had the curve at the bottom that makes each image French Tip appropriate.

Again, I'll mention that I love that each plate has Four Full Images, and then some small images on the corners.

NAIL ART

Here are some manis I created with some plates in this collection.

First up is a recent one. With Pueen07

I Used China Glaze - Hang-Ten Toes as my base color and stamped with Pueen07.

My Middle finger has OPI - Pirouette my whistle. And my Pointer I just added some rhinestones.

Next is a mani with an image from Pueen21

Blue Polish is Sinful Colors - Sweet Nothing, Pink is Sinful colors - Sugar N Spice.
Then I stamped with

My Overall Thoughts: I Love the Plates. The Images are pretty unique.Images are etched in well and my stamper picked them up well.
Remember you can use any of your opaque polishes as "stamping polishes". Basically, if a nail polish gets opaque in one coat, it should work for stamping!

Mint Green: Nails and OOTD

Hello World...

Have you ever falling so hard in love with a color that you just want everything in that color?

Well, for me, currently, that color is Mint Green. I am like obsessed with it!

Mix that with my also current love for lace, and we have today's OOTD and NOTD!

Still loving my new hairstyle. :-D

First up is the Nails!

Neely is the perfect mint green color!

And my OOTD.

My Hair totally makes me just wanna keep making "vogue" faces. Lol

An Up close look at my necklace which I love so much.

And look at this extra flashy picture!! A smile for you!

I just love how versatile my hair is.
I can change the side I want the bangs to swoop to. :-D

I can wear it without the curls layering...

And with the swoop of a brush, the tiny curls become layers again! LOVE!

Colores De Carol - Carnation Swatches & BPS 3D Nail Art Bow

Hello Darlings!

On the Blog today is a super girly mani!

I am extremely happy with my result and I hope you guys enjoy what I did here.

I'll start off with showing you swatches of Colores De Carol - Carnation.

This is from her Blooming Garden Collection and it's a white based polish with square and round red glitters with some hex glitters in black/deep red.

I absolutely loved this just looking at it through the bottle it was in. But I certainly loved it more on my nails!

For my swatches, I layered Carnation over a white polish because I didn't want to build opacity with the jelly base.
I used 2 coats of Carnation and dabbed a few glitters where I wanted more.

The combination of glitter is lovely and I am just in LOVE with this!

Since Carnation was giving me such a Girly Vibe, I whipped out my Born Pretty Store 3D Nail Art Bows!

I didn't know if I wanted the bow on each nail, so I started with One accent nail.

I challenged myself, and went for two bows!!! Then I thought, This is good enough, stop now.

Here are the 3D Bows From Born Pretty. This is how it was sent to me for review.

For application, I whipped out my super glue! I knew regular clear nail polish wouldn't hold these babies in place for long (I experimented - the bow stayed in place with the clear polish, but it looked ready to fall off in a bit). But with Super glue, the bows are still on my nails INTACT - hours after, as I type this).

The Result once again?.. Lookie below!

Completely stable bows on my nails. The bows compliment Carnation so well.

3D Nail art pieces weren't usually my cup of tea, but I am quite liking this bow, it's not too big, nor is it too little that it frustrates you picking it up. I was able to pick it up with just my fingers and place it on the spot I dotted the glue. I must mention though, I can only see myself using this when I want to create these kind of cutesy girly manis.

Today I have swatches of Zoya Summer 2013 - the Irresistible Collection!!

This collection is full of Foil Metallic Polishes in bright summery colors!

First up is Zoya - Rikki.
A green Foil Metallic goodness.

It has some shimmer in it and application was lovely.

Next up is Zoya - Amy
I thought this was red at some point, but it's actually orange, and makes me tasty for tangerine!
Anyone ever had those? Taste soo good!
Amy is a pretty darling and has some gold shimmer in her

Look at all that gold sparkling!

I took a thousand pictures of Amy!!!

See, I'm not lying. Zoya - Amy was an instant favorite of mine in this collection. The Orange just screams - summer, fun, fruits, fruit juice and all things happy - to me.
She'd make for a great Pedicure polish too.

Next up is Zoya - Kerry.
No, it's not a dupe of Ziv. I promise you this.
It is a lot more brighter than Ziv and has a shine my camera seem to dull down to what you see here.

Kerry has sort of glass speckles in it, and it is just so RICH!
I can see myself reaching to this one on those summer days when I don't have a long time to do a complicated mani. This kind of color makes a statement without nail art or anything else done to it.

Next is Zoya - Tinsley
Soft pink metallic foil polish. I see Gold, I see coral in this one.
Zoya describes Tinsley as a "Rose Gold Metallic Foil", and I agree with them.

It's very pretty in person and shimmers with each turn of the hand.

Next up is Hazel.
This one screamed FOIL the most in this collection!The finish is metallic and the shine is unbelievable! It's like a mirror!

It was reflecting on everything and my camera kind of freaked on capturing its true beauty.

I Love the shimmer in it and was glad my camera at least captured that.
This shine reminded me of FeiFei, but they are two different polishes (might do a comparison post later).

Last but certainly not the least is the polish that complimented my skin the most (In My Opinion). Lol
Please make some noise for Zoya - Bobbi.

*sighs*... Certainly Irresistible!! Bobbi is Beee--yooouuu---ti---full!!!

Overall Thoughts:
Zoya Continues to WOW me with their amazing formula!
All of these were 2 coats without an additional use of topcoat.
Top coat should give you a more glossy feel, but the shine on all of these are already perfect.

I'm sure you know my favorites from just reading this post, but I'll mention them again.
Bobbi, Amy, and Kerry!!!
The rest of the polishes not on my fave list will of course still be getting some love from me.

New Hairstyle!!!!!

Hello Sugars!

Today's post is all about my hair!

Yassss!

I got a new hairstyle and I couldn't be happier.

When it comes to my hair, I usually either rock my natural hair (afro), Bantu knots, or have long extensions that are curly, wavy, or straight. I also do braids, but never have I done this hairstyle I am currently rocking!

This is bold step for me considering that I haven't ever done anything like this before.

A bunch of bright colors AND then short hair! Oh my, Who is this lady?

Look at this!

I love the colors in the hair. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I told myself, If you're going to do it, you might as well go all out!

As you can see, I did my make up to compliment the hair. Bronze/Gold, and nude/orangy lips.

I used a deep blue eye liner on my lower water line and finished off with my Maybelline Rocket Volume mascara.

Ohhh Haiiii There! Lol

I wore a lace shirt, and some jeans to go to Choir practice and then out with the bf.
This hair is GIVING ME SO MUCH LIFE!!

I LOVE Lace lately and I can't stop myself! lol..

Blurry Full picture because my Photogs this day didn't capture good pictures. *sighs*.

Ok...Now I must mention, before I go on and on and fool some of y'all into thinking I actually cut and dyed my natural hair. The answer is OHHHH NOOO!!! I didn't go that far! Lol... This is not my natural hair but since I bought it, it's mine. lol.

It's a wig and I'll have a review post on it up soon.
I bought a wig because I didn't know if I'd like this hairstyle on me. Wigs are safe you see.

I have gotten more compliments on this hair than any other hair I can remember me rocking in a long time!! Seriously!

OOTD: Hot Pink!!!

Hello Sugars!
I no one cares or even notices these things, but I must start out by saying, Oh My! An evening post and on a Sunday!?!?

Well, there's an explanation for that.
You see, this is a post I was supposed to have scheduled during this past week but somehow didn't schedule!
And since I'm a "timeline" sort of person, I have to post this before Tomorrow - Monday, especially since I now have a different hairstyle (and another OOTD post coming up - with the new hairstyle). Lol..
I'd hate to post the new hairstyle and then throw in this old post after the one with my new hairstyle.
Yes, I think weirdly :-P

Anyhoo, this was from this past week, It was a lovely spring day and I got dressed to go out with the bf.
Simple, colorful, and I did what I like to call "Va va Voom makeup". Anything more than two colors on my eye lid is certainly va va voom to me!

I have learned in life that our situations/conditions aren't always how we want them to be. But If you wait for everything to be perfect, you'll most likely never find happiness.
We all have to, at different points in our lives, Choose to be happy!

This isn't an easy decision, but it's a good thing to always remember. Choosing Happiness!

I Honestly LOVE LOVE happy summery weather! And I only know how to celebrate with happy colors! SO this Pink dress from ROSS was just perfect for me. I am into laces lately! I want just about everything that has lace I can find.

My makeup..
Two shades of pink, some browns, and a blue on my low water line. Finished with baby pink lips.

SO many collages I made! Because I didn't want to spam with so many single pictures. Lol..

Wheelchair picture taking tip (For wheeling girls out there): Crossing your legs totally adds something extra to everything. I try not to do it too much to avoid having the same poses in every picture but honestly, I just love it so much. lol. Also, don't keep legs crossed for too long.. You don't want to stop circulation in your lower extremities. :-)

And I'd like to tag this next one, the many faces of Lizzy!!!

You see that face in the upper right hand? That's my "Do Not even attempt to Bug Me" Face.. Or maybe my "Can I buy more polishes please" face?! lol..

Welpsss, I Think I should stop now.
Do you guys love how bright my dress and shoes are? I certainly do!!!

Dress: Ross. (I have to wear pants or tights under dresses because of sitting on the wheelchair. I don't want to show my goodies to the world you see.. Lol).

Swatches and Review: Hard Candy - Sugar Rush

Hello Y'all!

I have a polish by Hard Candy on the blog today.

This was provided for my review and it's called Sugar Rush!

Here she is below...

This is a white based glitter polish and it's lovely to see that a brand being sold at walmart could create a polish that is almost always seen amongst Indie Brands.
I Thought this was pretty, especially since it was opaque in two coats plus top coat.
I don't quite see why it's called Sugar Rush, because I see more of a milk and dark chocolate thing in here. Lol...

Anyhoo, I loved this polish on me, but I have to say, I was pretty sad that when I chose to wear this for some days, it didn't quite last as I wanted it to. By day 2, the nail polish literally plopped off one of my nails, and some other nails were chipping. :-(
In the Polish's defense, I didn't use a base coat, but I was still sad that this happened.
I'll have to remember to use base coat next time.

Leopard Print: Nails and OOTD

Hello Love Muffins!

Happy new Week y'all!

Today I have A mani that was inspired by A Pant I wore to church Yesterday!

I Love matching my nails to my Outfit whenever I can, so this was certainly a mani I enjoyed doing!

Here's my Nails result with the pants I wore on the side. :-D

For this mani, I used China Glaze - I'm not Lion as my base and stamped on it with MASH plate 40 (Using Kleancolor - Black).

I originally wanted to leave my ring finger as plain black, But I got inspired to add some dots on it with I'm not Lion.

And here's what that turned out like. I Love it better this way!

I love the MASH 40 plate so much. The leopard prints on it are believable and spontaneous. Unlike some that all look like circles.

And for my OOTD - What I wore to Church Yesterday... Here's a collage!

I love the pants soo much,. They fit nicely and they're high waisted. I love that I can tuck in the shirt if I choose to. Which I probably should have done for these pictures. Lol..

Shirt and shoes are from DD's Discount, and the small jacket is from Ross.
Earrings from Burlington, Bracelet from Forever 21 (I think).
The Purse is a makeup bag, which I got free from Target (when they did the beauty bag thingy).

My makeup here is minimal. MAC NW45 powder, and lip gloss. I probably should a done a more va-va-voom makeup though.

Physical Therapy Update

Hello Sugars!!

How y'all doing?
Well, Today's post is an overdue one! I'm so sorry for that darlings.

A while back, I wrote a post on here to share a fund raiser page I created to help me get money for going back to physical therapy towards my goal of Walking again!
Well, GOOD NEWS!!! The Fund raiser was a success and I am now in Physical Therapy!!!

I update more about my physical therapy Journey on my other blog. This blog is my "beauty Blog", and I don't really say much about my life on the wheelchair here, except with regards to beauty.
If you're interested in following my recovery/physical therapy journey, please follow my other blog HERE.

Anyhoo, I started physical therapy and this is my 3rd week there.
It's been an interesting and hectic journey.
I come back home and get so tired that I have to SLEEP!! Lol..This of course means, less time to blog. :-(
But No worries, I'll still create time to keep y'all entertained.

Anyhoo, here are some pictures from these past 3 weeks at therapy.

Here I am standing with the help of a standing frame at project Walk.
Feels so good to be doing this. I'm looking forward to being able to stand on my own again.

OOTD: Spring Colors - Mint Green and Bright Yellow

Hello Sugars!!

Today's post is an OOTD I wore yesterday on a movie date with the Boyfriend.
We went to see Tyler Perry's Temptation and we both enjoyed it and certainly learned from it. Anyone else seen the movie?

The weather was AMAZING yesterday and so I whipped out some cheery bright and springy colors! Mint Green and Bright Yellow.

Shoe details and my Mint Green Pants:

I am falling in some serious LOVE with Mint Greens lately! I basically JUMPED at these pants when I saw them! I bought the pants before the shirt. But I had to pair them together since I had the shoes at home and they were the same color as the shirt I got. ;-)
Don't you just love it when your old and newly acquired items work out so well together?

Details:
Shirt: ROSS
Pants: Burlington
Shoe: Old shoes, can't really remember where I got them.
Earrings: Beauty shop

Makeup: Just my MAC powder, Ruby Kisses Lip gloss and minor eyeshadow.

I will sometime make a full post about this, but the pants I wear ALWAYS have to be comfortable on me because with sitting, comfort is priority, so When I find great pants, I Am always very excited. I don't wear pants with crazy zips or seams that are too thick. This mint pant from burlington is so comfy!!!

Happy Easter + My Mani

Hello darlings!
A quick blog post from my phone on this wonderful Sunday.
I want to wish you all a happy Easter and show you the mani I have on my nails today.
Easter means so much to me and I am glad to show y'all what I came up with for my nails.

This was taken with my phone but you get the idea.
For this I used Color Club - Over the Moon (Blue), China Glaze - Glistening Snow. And The stamp was done with Kleancolor Black.
Stamping Plate: Konad S3.

Swatches, Review & Nail Art: Colour Gossip Nails - Love Child and Shallow

Hello Darlings..

Hope your days is going well!

Today I have the softest shades of polishes to show you. These two polishes made me feel girly, cute, and yesss.. completely feminine.

If you've been on the blog these past couple of days, you must have figured out I'm on a "Spring Mani" Fest!

These two lovely and soft shades by Colour Gossip are no exception darlings. When I received the package Colour Gossip sent me for review, I smiled and my heart swelled. Their packaging reminded me of Bridal Shower favors. Pictures below.

Here are both Polishes. Left is Shallow and right is Love Child.

Look at the packaging!! I told you! So cute! Even my mom was like "Are these for someone's bridal shower?"

Well, let's get to the swatches!

First up is Love Child.

This is pink, but so close to a light lavender purple! Soft Soft beauty.

Application was Ahhh-freaking-mazing! Yes, A pastel Polish that isn't streaky! 2 coats and Topcoat was used!

Next up is Shallow.
Let's face it, some people are Shallow. Lol.. BUT I don't think a Milky White based polish is what I think of when I think of Shallow People. Lol.. I think, Dark, black, with like Brown and dirty... Ok .. Ok.. I feel I'm being shallow describing shallow people. Lol.. They're humans too, and we love them.. right?

WOW.. I better get back to THIS polish!
Shallow is a soft white, near gray polish.

This one was a bit streaky on first two coats. But a careful third coat and Topcoat fixed all the streak.
The result was a beautiful grayed-out white.

Welp, Next up is the part I Loved most about these two polishes!!
When I saw both of them, THEY BEGGED TO BE BLENDED TOGETHER!!! Yes, Polishes speak to me my loves.. We have a relationship like that. ;-)
I couldn't think of another way to blend them together other than a gradient mani!
So Voila!

Do you see this? This is quite possibly the first Gradient I am COMPLETELY in love with! It's so soft and soo - Yes, I'll say the word I have used almost everyday this week - SPRING!!!

Ohhh and... Another look because I couldn't stop taking pictures!!!

But WAIT! I am not done!
I couldn't Leave the dang mani alone!
You see, On Colour Gossip's Instagram page, they always show amazing fashion and nail arts, and I wanted to do something Extra Fancy with my gradients...
So I whipped out my New Pueen Stamping plates (which I will review as soon as they are available for purchase) and chose an amazing image from Pueen11!
I used the image on my Index and Ring finger....

But I Loved the gradients so much that I didn't want to cover each nail with the art, so I settled for rhinestones on two fingers.

*sighs*... I feel like a kid high on Candy and Soda!!!
It's been a while I did Nail Art I'm entirely proud of.
