Sorry I haven't updated momsword.org. Well I have sort of as I am slowly changing this website from a news website to a parenting type of website with hot deals, book reviews and product reviews and recipes.

The news website has moved to http://www.blythpost.com , our new website. Ch-ch-h-it out!

but sad news, this morning my grandma had passed away. She was a wonderful lady. She was pretty much the same age as Queen Elizabeth II and they have the same name and the same height. They also met back in the 1970s. And spoke to each other.

With that said, my grandmother, I will never forget you, your lectures (which I will miss the most), your wonderful advice that my friends and I loved and used... your smile, your laugh and your wisdom. Everything about you is something everyone loved.

RIP grandma, RIP

MyExtraGum.Com Review

Recently I was given to review MyExtraGum.....thanks to BSM Median & Extra Gum. The website, myextragum.com, you get to get 1 set of five packs for $24.95 and a $6.95 shipping fee. The price is high due to the fact you get to design your own gum packages... for a wedding event, a corporate event or something to give a promotion for your website or company.

This is the process:

You create a design yourself, you can upload a pic from facebook, flicker or even your computer. You don't have to chose the option of uploading a picture as I didn't do that. But if you do it, you can change the size and color of the picture. After you do that process (or if you skip it), you can chose a theme, like a birthday theme. Or a graduation theme. Then you can chose the flavor of the gum.

Then you get an email to tell you the order has been processed and later when your order has been shipped, they send an email to let you know.

Would I use it again? I might, if I had an event coming up. But the price is high.

The only complaint I have about the gum company is the sugar they use: Aspartame..which is an artificial, non-saccharide sweetener used as a sugar substitute in some foods and beverages.

I don't get why gum companies use natural sugar which is better for you. Especially when you are pregnant or nursing, it is best to have natural products, not artificial.
