This is a rare occasion where the city attorney files charges against an individual. Also, it is clearly seen that this is being held as a politically motivated case, since, for a misdemeanor, the bail was set at 1 million dollars. For a sign violation, keep in mind, that this is cruel and unusual punishment for a misdemeanor. Now, granted bail is set based on the financial situation to one, but still, 1 million dollars for a misde? Just doens't make sense.
I have the support of my long time girlfriend, which is great. With the economy being the way it is, and myself not have a degree as of yet, really affords me the time to go ahead and strive for the most that I can. My industries are almost bankrupt, staffing and mortgage, so I might as well. Ideally I would like to get a job as a law enforement officer in some sort of capacity, but since I keep hearing how every municpality is broke, I feel that I should keep striving forward.

I know how most people feel about individuals with a law degree, but i say it today, I will not do criminal law. I don't have the capacity to defend people that are most of the time guilty, and looking for a way out. Granted there are those that are innocent, but I don't see the ratio being that being high to where I could justify doing it taking the chance of always defending the innocent in that capacity.

And then again on the other side, I would not want to prosecute those that are innocent. So, I think that at this point in time, I will still try law enforcement in whatever capacity that i can. Why, because it has always been a dream.

OOOOOOOHHHHHH Politics!!!

This morning I was watching a little bit of news on Fox, and I saw this headline, 'Healthcare Bill to create 4 million jobs,' per the administration of course. It boggles my mind how they come up with these numbers. Ok, the current healthcare bill doesn't take effect until 2014, but the taxation in the bill starts immediately. Don't get me wrong, we do need healthcare reform, but not this bill, and not this style of legislation. So, I ponder, how in the he!! are 4 million jobs coming from this bill? I just don't get it. Are the jobs going to be split 50/50 between unicorns and leprechauns? Really though, never in my life have I experienced so much wishful thinking. Do these people actually think that we Americans are buying this B.S.?

Fact: An administration that clearly has a ton of communist/socialist sympathizers working in high ranking positions has lost track of one thing. Americans won't buy it. We fought 2 wars and then the clandestine stuff to stop the spread of communism, and I will admit, the whole hope and change campaign was a success. It hit home to many Americans and gave them belief that this one guy will really come in and change the way Washington works. What did we get instead? Carter on Steroids. And Clinton's B.S. multiplied by at least 25 times.
And yes, it just barely snowed in Vancouver. I want to make this really quick about this topic.

When will people start realizing that mother nature is unpredictable and that weather has patterns and cycles. Its natural. We did come out of an ice age.And before that it was extremely hot. The Earth doesn't work off our calendar years, or report to specific weather monitoring stations. People, mainly those that follow, The Church of the Almighty and Undisputable Temperature Gage, need to sit back and realize that there whole global warming craze has been debunked. It should have never came down to this, but it has. The Earth cools, and then it warms, and then it cools, and then warms, and so on, and so on.

The alarmists remind of that friend who sits at the bar after their favorite team just lost the big game. And just drinks and drinks until he is carried out. He is most likely the same friend that drinks and drinks when his favorite team wins the big game, too. And eventually has to be carried out. Regardless of the outcome, he is going to drink until he is carried out. Same thing with these alarmists. They are going to protest and try to change life as we know it no matter what.
China was the most numerous, Pakistan, Taiwan, and Mexico were the only places that I found on tags. I couldn't find anything made in America. I am not complaining or even considering isolationism for our nation, but how has it come down to this. It brought me to think about, what do we export to other countries?

The cost that are incorporated into what we make is outrageous for another country to buy from us, right? I know that we even import drywall from China. I am no economics major or even close to a guru about the subject, but people all around the world buy stuff because of its price, where it is made at does not matter at that point anymore.
Lately we have been great at exporting our national debt and other countries having been investing
in consumer debt, but those have taken seriously losses of late, which we all know about. Now, investors are not stupid, they will not out their money into something that doesn't give them money back. I doubt that will last long very much longer at this rate. Maybe its just me, but nothing comes to mind about what we make as a nation that the world demands. Words can not describe how this news made me feel. Yes, 47,000 EMPLOYERS. 47,000 places that employ Californians are gone. Left the state to go elsewhere and will not be coming back. The first thing that crossed my mind was, Why? Who would leave the beautiful state that has year round sunshine and is within 3 hours of the ocean from anywhere in the state? Here is what I think.

They all left the state because of our idiotic high taxes and ridiculous regulation that our state legislation has imposed on our state. There is a consequence to what happens to unwarranted government regulation, and in 2008 us Californians took a huge bite out of reality when we lost 47,000 employers. Its funny how California's leadership and most civic leaders taunt how far ahead California is in Green jobs, and Green this, and Green that, and fighting the global warming, and if you don't believe in global warming you are living in the stone age. Well I have news for them. Look at what your unverified global warming regulation is doing to our state. Its tearing us down from the inside out. If there is not jobs in our state, that means that there is that much less tax revenue from business and the individual, which means less money going to Sacramento

In the private sector, results are expected from employees. In the government sector, it appears that the only expectation is to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. Taxing the crap out businesses and the high income earners of this state, it was only a matter of time. People have money because they know how to make money. Staying in a state that is going to take as much of it away as humanly possible, is not a good investment. Also, people start businesses for one purpose, to generate money. Now, if our state government feels that they can just take as much and impose this, and tax that and that people were going to be ok with it. Well here is some simple math. 1% of something is more than 100% of nothing. At this rate we will have a empty state soon and the legislators to blame.

It all starts at the top and rolls down hill. If Schwarzenegger had a pair left after his steroid use he would have addressed this issue of retaining businesses in California along time. Instead, they think that they will make up the lost revenue on the existing businesses that are left here. Also, the decision making of Arnold, is impaired because he has his head so far up this global warming ass that his eye brows are burning. I am willing to be now that once he leaves office in 2010, he has some PR type position waiting for him to go around and be the Paul Revere of Global Warming. The climate is changing! The climate is changing! The climate is Changing!

Nobody wants to debate the issue of global warming, but yet lets drastically change our lives anyways. In conclusion I just want to say that is coincidence that California has the toughest green regulations in the nation, and also the highest jobless numbers of people as well. When are the ones in Sacramento, and then D.C. going to realize that they are killing our economy.

Camo Clothing

You this is one of the many things I love about hunting. Resembling mother nature. Its great. It is the one time that I feel like I am part of the actual nature scene that I am in. Now, to my understanding, only turkeys are not color blind. So basically when hunting other game, what you are doing is trying to blend in with the surroundings by breaking up your silohuette. Its a tough pill for Tiger to swallow, but it is digestible.

In our day and age, adultery is common. If this was back in the 50's, a different story. But, were not in those days anymore and society does seem to be more forgiving towards misbehavior. I am totally against Tiger going into hiding until things blow over. The way we as a people are going to see that is one of two ways. He is hiding more, or he isn't man enough to step up to the plate and admit he was wrong for what he did.

Tiger needs to face the music and realize that he is a worldwide figure. A idol to many, a household name, an icon to a sport, and most importantly a father to 2 children. Tiger sees this as a private matter that he needs to deal with his family alone right. Wrong. How many people show up to watch him play golf, buy his endorsements, practice to be like him. Many. When Tiger took the center stage he opened his life up to us as people. He has worked to establish an image and now he is going to let it fall.

Luckily our day and age revolves around reality TV shows. I know this, my girlfriend is a huge fan of other people's life. There are shows from others losing weight, to be being a rich housewife. It is amazing what people watch. Now there is one show that comes to mind when I think of Tiger's situation. Dr. Drew's Sex Rehab. Yes, Tiger should go on and do sex rehab to show his family, fans, sponsors and anyone else he let down that he is truly sorry for his mistake and publicly show everyone how serious he is about getting help.

This guy definitely has a sex problem. I can barely keep up with dealing with my one and only girlfriend, and this guy has at 13 girls plus a full time wife. Kudos to him for dealing with that many women at once, but lets also not forget that all of that is not a normal condition. He does need some help. And what better way for him to rebuild his image that in front of the cameras so everyone can see if he is truly sorry, or if he played us for being the All American Guy.

As for his wife, she should definitely kick rocks on Tiger. If a quarter of what is out about him is true, then yeah she needs to get on and get with someone that will be serious about her and her two kids. I can't imagine what him being with at least 13 other women did to her self esteem. If I even glance at another female while out with my girlfriend I never here the end of it. This guy Tiger, I truly think he sank his ship with Elin, and no salvage crew can bring that one back.

Flatulence contributing to cabon emissions

I knew it was going to slowly come down to this. A, B+. How? Why? Who? When? Where?

This whole Obamamania is out of control. It was great to celebrate from Nov. 4 to Jan 19, but as of Jan. 20 it was a time to drop campaign mode and get into gear to fix this country. Yet, since Jan 20 our unemployment has continued to skyrocket, our national continue is growing out of control, and the course of action this administration is taking makes no sense. There are really to many to mention right now of actions that just don't make any sense.
The polls, the same polls that were accurate enough to say that Obama would win the Presidency, have his job approval rating at 46%. That is a failing grade to me considering he has not even been in office one full year and he is below 50%. Not good. His advisors need to stop feeding him whatever bs they are and get with the program quick if they think he is going to be re-elected, and their cushy jobs kept for another 4 years after these first four.

It just doesn't make any sense. A B+, is a a grade a narcissist would give himself in a situation like this.
The weather storm that came through California this past week was an awesome sight from above. Not only because it gave our state some much needed water, it also did great injustice for the duck and geese migrations, forcing them to come south. It made the north even colder, and you know the ducks and geese, the closer to 72 degrees the better. For all local So-Cal quack attackers, this means that this weekend should be a great time for you to stay and watch duck hunting on TV. Yes, stay home. Enjoy the time with your family. The holidays are coming up and its time to just relax. Knock off some those honey-do's on the list.

No sense putting on those waders and setting up decoys out in a 34 degree pond in pitch blackness. Who would want to sit in a hogwire brush blind with some other guy all day anyways. Then that horrible smell of gunpowder mixed with morning dew. Yuck. And not to mention to have to beg a flock to come in close to where you are.

So, what I am saying is stay home and stay warm. I will head out and keep an eye on what ducks came down south. I promise not to shoot at any ducks within distance. So, yes only sky busting, atmosphere scrapping shots for me. Enjoy your weekend at home, and I will report back to you all with my findings. This will be a nice time to read a nice long book that might keep you interested in reading until well after January 31, 2010. So long pal, enjoy your nice cozy weekend. Maybe even throw some cattle on the grill.
Which is good, because if Health Care Reform is going to be passed in this country, they sure need to start over and do it right. The current bill makes no sense. For example, they are going to start taxing us six ways from Sunday for the health care plan, but it won't actually take effect until 2013. Huh? Yes look it up if you don't believe me.

Next, they are going to be gutting 500 billion dollars out of medicare over the next 10 years, but they are lowering the age to qualify for medicare down to 55 years old. What? Yes, they current Senate bill plans to take away money from a problem that is on the verge of collapse and add more people to it. No way! Yes way.

What really pisses me off the most about our Congress and White House is that unemployment rates seem to be a big pink elephant in the room that nobody still wants to talk about. It has steadily been on the incline, which my common sense would say that, that is an issue that needs to be addressed quickly. Not our government leaders. They want to think of plans that will tax us more and spread the wealth around. Well here is a fact. If more and more Americans are still unemployed, there will be that much less to tax and take away. Really, they need to do the math, quickly.

This is just one example of how our politicians are so out of touch with the American people. Our state governments, local governments, and national government all see to be on the same page of idiology and not coming to terms with the reality of today's problems. Fix the unemployment, lower taxes to drive the economy, stay focus on job creation, fix our foreign energy dependence, and lets get this great country back rockin' and rollin' again.

The new Mayor of Houston

I wanted to talk about this before I hit the sack for the night. I saw this header on yahoo.com, "Gay mayor-elect: Victory shows Houston's diversity."

It's stuff like that, which is what inspired me to blog. Why do people always have to categorize individuals into a group. We are Americans, no crap we are a diverse population. It is going on 2010 and we know. We are all different as Americans. It seems like as the older the nation gets, the farther from a melting pot we are becoming. Why? Well because it seems that the media along with other entities just can't withhold from fully categorizing someone. The heading could have easily have read,"New Mayor elected for Houston." Too simple I guess.

The greatest part of being American is being a part of a nation that is made of many ethnicity's, religions, beliefs, orientations, and values. We get it. The longer we continue to be put into specified categories, we are going to be different and might not even realize it. Whether it is school, work, business, credit, the lottery, going to the park, etc, we all have the same opportunity to do whatever we want to do as long as its not breaking the law. If people are blocking you from something, just try harder. That's it. Don't back away, steam forward twice as hard. We are all individuals and as a whole we are Americans. It shouldn't be that as individuals we are Americans, and as a whole, we are whatever label fits best. The longer we continue to be classified as minorities, latino, asian, black, pacific islander, gay, straight, male, female, rich, poor, etc., the melting pot of culture will go cold.

I am not saying forget who are as individuals, but that is who we should be as individuals. And as a whole we should all be able to be Americans and whatever catchy category sounds best. We are all here together and to me it is degrading to be constantly put into a category, all the time. What is important is that we should be noticed for who we are, and what we can do as an individual and what branding we fall into. Keep in mind that I am an unemployed, latino, minority student brand writing this.

Important to be on the same page

I had to talk about this. While watching the news snip-its today this story jumped out at me. It is about the Obama's Administrations economic advisors. Kind of makes one wonder what is really going on with this administration.

Today, on ABC's This Week, Lawrence Summers, director of the White House National Economic Council, proudly said that the recession is over and that jobs will begin to show by this spring. Great news right, I was excited when I heard this, since I am a involuntary participant in this recession.

Then I hear this and once again I lose confidence, again in this administration. On Meet the Press on MSNBC, Dr. Christina Romer, Chairs of the President's Board of Economic Advisors, says the opposite. The recession is not over.

All jokes aside, whether the recession is over or not, just be consistent with the American people on what the White House thinks. Seriously, its bad enough of what the rest of the world thinks about us, and now I know this will further make us the laughing stock in economic circles. I hope I am wrong, but unfortunately the full interviews are posted online. I call them the photo op duo because they both can be seen at any opportunity where the chance to have their picture for whatever cause or event may be happening.

Yes, California has taken the most steps to cut down carbon emissions in the United States. Also to mention, businesses have been leaving California in droves, and unemployment is one of the highest in the nation. Coincidence? Not to leave out that California can't balance the budget due to income shortfalls.

Los Angeles is currently suffering the highest deficit in history, close to a billion dollars, and also has businesses kicking rocks out of the city.
It would make sense that the leaders would stay in town no matter what before the you know what hits the fan. Instead, they are going on a tax payer European safari making stops in other cities around the world before poking their noises in at the summit in Coopenhagen. Why?

Photo Opportunity.

Unfortunately the liitle blue bird is telling me that after the summit cars will still run off of gasoline, carbon emissions will still stay the same, and most importantly, the leaders will have most likely agreed that they disagree. So why even go at the cost of a city and state that is broke. No reason too. If they were so concerned with fighting global warming; they need to use the tools of technology to join in the conference. Imagine this, the duo used a video internet conference meeting to attend, or meet with whoever they need to. Hey, what about email or even the old phone call. I can only imagine that the "Carbon Footprint" would have been zilch, and the unneccessary burden to the tax payer just a fraction compared to getting on a private jet with their details and continent hopping.

Why do these people have a tendency to look us in the camera and tell us one thing, and then do the opposite? I just don't get it. Granted, the Mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg, who's city is in similiar dire straights, will be going to. But, Bloomberg a self made billionaire can flip his own bill, which I hope he is doing by the way. Talk has been cheap and the focus on constituents is getting more non existent by the minute.

Being unemployed hearing stuff like this really irks me. Its a classic example of wasteful spending by our elected officials for the sacred photo op. With record unemployment and deficits if money just needs to spent that badly, lets put back into the people that are need right now. Not for two Calfornia elected officials to head out to Europe on what most of us would consider to be a once in a lifetime vacation. The real knife in the back is that Villaraigosa will be getting paid for this and I only imagine per diem as well. Now yes, Arnold doesn't really take a salary, but that still doesn't justify this hit to the tax payers of California.

Our whole state is in a financial crissis and we continue to elect people that clearly have no idea what they are doing. If I only I knew how to implement common sense into this state I will in a heart beat.

I was wondering when this was going to happen

I came online to check the news really quick, and I really only wanted to check on the duck migration news really quick. And sure enough, there was news from the Coopenfakin Global Warming summit. It read, "600 Detained at Climate Rally Urging Bold Pact." (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/climate)

My blood started to boil as I read further into the article. This is where the pipe dream of all the countries of the world replacing asphalt with meadows and pastures comes to a streaking halt. The dream that all the nations will volunteer to shut down on their industries to curb carbon emissions in order to save the polar bears. The dream that a nations economic growth will be put second to nature and preserving the planet, shattered. Why?

Well now that nations realize that they will have to curb their own development and explain to their people that improving poverty is second to curbing carbon emissions. All these nations did for the most part was just blow hot air coming into the conference. Everyone seems to be on board, but it looks like nobody wants to be bound by international law to do so. Which means, shenanigans.

If anything this goes to show that an effort was produced to do something about the environment regarding global warming. In my opinion what this conference should have been about was how to cut down on polluting the environment, which is a fact. We need to really worry about smog and all the pollutants that go into the air, that is proven, not this farcical concept that the stuff that comes out of our mouth and rear is causing the Earth to heat up(and other factors as well).

Bottomline is that we have only been accurately recording temperature of the Earth for a tiny fraction of Earth's existence. Like anything else, weather has proven to be a cyclical event proven with time. There are high years and low years.

Enough said on my part about this, but I want to leave you all with a bogus global warming quote of the week.

"The interior of the earth is extremely hot, several million degree." Al Gore (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BooOfsZgac)

He said it, I didn't. What is also funny is that I think during his reign as the Vice-President of the United States, he said maybe 2 words, maybe three. And now he just can't put a lid on it about this Global warming debacle, which I might add that he doesn't want to have a debate on. Today on yahoo news I read this heading, "Gun Laws Getting looser across much of US" [http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091211/ap_on_bi_ge/us_looser_gun_laws](AP). Before even reading the article I already knew pretty much the direction of where it was going. Now, of course if anyone of us read the headlines, "Freedom of speech laws overated" or "First Amendment out of control," our immediate reaction would be, WHAT!

Whether one agrees with gun rights or not, a person needs to take the time to really analyze their thoughts. Lets face it, a gun, no matter what type, caliber, purpose, is an inanimate object that requires a person to operate. Just like a car, a machine, a key, and even a flashlight. People who oppose the right of gun ownership or guns period because "Guns Kills," clearly makes this argument a victim to, POST HOC ERGO PROPTER HOC. For those still thinking what this means, it means an argument of false cause. Which is clearly presented in the meat and potatoes of many gun opponents arguments.

Gun ownership is a right. Just like freedom of speech, right to bail, no quartering of soldiers, no unwarranted search and seizures, and so on. So why does this one amendment of the constitution draw so much fire all the time. Really, I don't get. It has to be ignorance on one part, and well just plain not liking guns on the other.
Unfortunately my blog will not be the end all to this debate, but I am hoping that it opens some eyes. I can imagine living in America where people would be ok with limiting the first amendment, or allowing cops to just pull us over and seize property from us.

I am an advocate opposing irresponsible gun ownership. Its not the gun its the person responsible for it. I don't feel that people who are not responsible, violent criminals, or don't have proper firearm education should own one either.

What really irks the hell out of me is that a lot of laws that are proposed are punishing responsible gun owners. Lets face it, do criminals that are not allowed to own a gun, go to a gun shop, submit a background check, and once cleared, receive their firearm. Absolutely not. They go to the black market and get what they need, right then and there. But, yet people feel that making outrageuous laws will punish the criminals directly. They don't. They punish legal gunowners. Its common sense that criminals break the law and don't care. When are legislators and opponents of gun laws going to get it that they have make whatever law they want to try and prevent whatever they want, but in the end, the law abidding citizens will always follow the law, and the criminals will always break the law. It is the criminals that are murdering, robbing, shooting, etc with firearms, not responsible gunowners. Common sense.

Imagine if the DUI law was changed to zero tolerance. Can't drive with even one beer on your breath, because this way we can end all DUI related deaths. Politicians would shake their own hands and pat themselves on the back because it makes sense right, prevent irresponsible drinking and driving and get rid of all DUI related deaths. Case Shut right. No. Will people still continue to drink and drive, absolutely. All this type of law would is create unfair difficulties to responsible drivers. Think about the people that really do enjoy 1 beer at lunch. Or a glass of wine with dinner. Now under those premises those would be criminal to do that. Unfair? You make the call.

There was a saying that I once heard. "Guns Don't Kill People, People Do." Now when we think about, that saying can be applied to many things and still have the same purpose. Cars don't kill...knives don't kill...airplanes don't kill...arrows don't kill...pillows don't kill...people do. It all applies, because its all true. I bet that most of the opponents of guns have never fired a gun or appreciate the skill that is truely required to operate a gun.

I will make a promise to take anyone out who has never hunted or shot a firearm, and show them a responsibly fun time. And also, how the gun doesn't just jump up and starting shooting innocent people, or guilty people for that matter. Also, I will like to add that there is a lot of groups that do this all the time for first timers.

So whatever your opinion may be towards gun ownership, just look at this situation thoroughly and be consistent.

Global Warming...?

Well now is a great time for me to share my view on what is projected as, Global Warming and its effects on humanity as we know it. This issue has really became an important topic for leaders of the world. So important that the high unemployment rate is in the shadow of global warming. Now, whether one feels that global warming is a scam, like I do, or if one genuinely feels that Earth as we know it is being destroyed by the evil Co2 emissions. This issue was so important and needed to be talked about now, that all the limos in Denmark, and then some, were rented out. All the leaders had to fly on their nice private jets to get to the conference. And all had to gather in conference to discuss this issue right away. Everything that I just mentioned, releases the "evil Co2 emissions." Really, it even comes out of mouth whenever we exhale or talk.

This whole shin dig is a clear example of, "Do as I say, and not as I do." Really, if there was a true passion for cutting down carbon footprints, then why the hell didn't they all do a video Internet conference? Right? Look at how much energy, money, time, and environment that would have saved realistically.

I am calling shenanigans on this one.

Recently we all heard of the hacked emails that discovered that the main scientists pushing global warming, are faking it to make it. They admitted to cooking the books.

Its a fact. Here we are, about to have some really tough measures jammed down our throats that is cooked. Made up. A scam. The effects that some of these measures will have on an economy are really going to hurt. And all of this is based on crap data put together by dishonest scientists.

Now, I am not scientists, but I feel that I have graduated with flying colors from the University of Common Sense. Lets be realistic here. I do believe that the Earth's climate does warm up from time to time. And then cools right back down. From winter to spring, the weather warms. From spring to summer, the weather warms some more. Shockingly, the weather from summer to fall, cools down. From fall back to winter, it cools down even more. Its called seasons. Nothing to be alarmed about.

Also this whole gig about Co2 emissions. I know that trees and plant life feed off of it. Lets look at how this could be warming the Earth. I am still thinking. Wait a minute. Nothing. I do know that as one goes higher into altitude, the colder it gets. So, if hot steam rose up into the atmosphere, will it cool off? Of course it will. Like being at the base of a mountain and then going to the peak. Or better yet, ask any pilot who sticks his hand out the window while flying. There is a considerable difference in temperature being cooler. If you don't believe me, try it out.

Its really sad how much of a fast one is being pulled on us right now. The scientists that show evidence that the Earth is warming, can also show evidence they are more than likely on a grant funded safari to prove it. Also, the scientists who publicly disagree, are shut up and shut down. Not fair. I am not one for conspiracy theories, but something is not right and it smells funny here. Al Gore, it is rumored that he has made quite close to a cool billion dollars off this thing called global warming. What gets me is that if Gore is so certain about global warming, and has made a lot of dinero from it, then why won't he debate anyone over it? Interesting. Also, from what I hear, he sure loves to contribute to the Co2 emissions being released. The biggest voiced proponents sure prove a clear case of hypocrisy

Next I want to bring up how remember after Hurricane Katrina and its devastation that was the beginning of the end as we knew it. Katrina was just a start to a wrath from mother nature and how the world is dying and being warmed. Not to forget the poor, poor polar bears. If I recall, there wasn't even a single hurricane that even came close to hitting the US this year. In the history of Earth, there will be natural disasters, which is ultimately what Hurricane Katrina was. But, if you are a global warming alarmist, then Katrina was a selling tool for the cause. Doom and Gloom to the end.

Bottom line is that can somebody please explain to me why all of this garbage is being thrown at us the way it is. Don't get me wrong, I do feel that we need to protect our environment by all means, and stop pollution, but lets not come up with a way to pull the wool over our eyes while at it. I do have one suggestion that will help stop the "Co2 abuse" to the environment. Why don't the proponents that global warming exists put a lid on it. Yes. go have a operation done that wires their jaws shut. This way it will stop all the emissions coming from their mouths. Think about it. Not only will it cut back on Co2 from this topic, but it will also help prevent future emissions from them on whatever the next fad will be.

Lets protect the environment and stop pollution, but at the same time lets not shut on humanity because of it.

Tiger Woods, Golf Extroadinaire

Tiger, Tiger, Tiger. Golf's greatest and the most richest sports figure in history. The guy is human, and I can't really explain why he did he would do this. He obviously used his status to reel in the ladies and take advantage of the situation. But I can't imagine how he didn't have the common sense to not do what he did. IOne of the most recognized faces out there and did he honestly believe that the ladies wouldn't talk, or he would get caught. I am no player, but I know that every women out there is a natural born private eye in disguise. He just chose to never give up his single life mentality and lifestyle.

By no means am I saying that I am all for what he did. No way Jose. All I am saying is that the guy for whatever reason failed to accept that he was married to a beautiful woman who is by far betting looking than most, if not all of the skanks that are coming out of the wood work. Yes they are skanks and here is why. Its no secret that he isn't married, but yet they did it anyways. Now, for these women to cry foul and play the victim card is outrageous. Its takes two to tangle, and thats that.

On a lighter note, I really don't think Tiger will be dropped by any of his endorsements. Here is why. Gillete isn't going to lose him to Schick. Gatorade isn't going to see Tiger get picked up by Powerade. Buick, well I am not sure what happened there, but I know if they could they would keep him.

If anything he will most likely pick up a sponsor or two. A jewerly store might create the Tiger Woods infidelity line. Viagra and Cialis can't wait until he reaches the age to where they can pick him up. Vegas, well they will be all over him for the classic, "What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas." Trojan Condoms might even look into him as well.

Eventually after all 900 or so of the ladies speak out this will blow over for Tiger. It is unfair to his wife, family, and fans, but it is what it is. Maybe living in a multi-million dollar home, a 22 million dollar yacht, a model hot wife, and playing all the golf humanly possible just was not enough for Tiger. I guess it can be true that money can't buy you love, but it sure can put a smile on your face from ear to ear. Like anyone else in life that has gone through this, it really does hurt the loved ones around you. In Tiger's case, its going to hurt his pocket book a heck of a lot more than his heart before he is finished with this one.

Hugh Hefner, look out, a new playboy has been exposed.

Now I do want to take this time to apologize to his wife and kids, in the event that they somehow read this blog post one day. It is a very sad situation, and his wife is an extremely beautiful person who from what I hear packs a viciuous long iron.

Harry Reid, Nevada Senator and Majority leader of the US Senate

I want to start by saying how utterly embarrassed I am to have this guy as the leader of our US Senate. The tirade that he went on today really has me believing that he fell off of the tree of desperate acts and hit every branch on the way down. For those of that didn't have a chance to hear what the Senator from Nevada had to say, here is a link http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/12/07/politics/politicalhotsheet/entry5928530.shtml

This is a pathetic act by a man who knows that his chances at re-election are slim to not happening this year. And I think not happening was just confirmed with outrageous remarks today. How is it possible for Reid to have the audacity to compare a health care reform bill, mind you that is over two thousand pages long, to women's suffrage and slavery? Because Reid is desperate and wants to blame anyone but himself for this failing legislation.

When Obama took office earlier this year, we all were promised one thing. Transparency. It is fact that we are getting all but transparency with this new administration. That is another issue that I will talk about later, but keep that in mind regarding this issue.

How is the GOP suppose to jump on board with legislation that they have been excluded from participating in. I also want to point out that Reid has the potential 60 votes to pass this without a single republican vote. He is attacking the GOP because he is failing to understand that this bill is set up as it is today is just way to expensive and no need for the government to take over all of healthcare to insure about 17 million or so. This bill was put together behind closed doors without a single republican idea. How is that debatting? Beats me.

Folks, believe it or not, we are looking at double standards at their finest here. Where is the media questioning all of this when we need them? Imagine if a GOP member stood up and gave the same speech as Reid did today. Riots might have broken out over the remarks. I am a believer in what's fair is fair, and folks I can tell you this, what is going on at our nations capitol is all but fair. Us ordinary citizens are the ones that will be paying for this in the end.

Just to make clear. I do believe that we do need some form of healthcare reform done. There is a lot that is not fair that is going on right now with insurance companies and their rules. But, lets think this one through and go with a plan that makes sense for all of America within due time, and not just anything that is jammed down our throats like it is being done today.

One other point that I want to make about Reid's desperation commentary today: President Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.

Glenn Beck

Of late I have had some extra time to really watch and analyze some news shows. Some may argue that it is not news at all, but more of a political viewpoint being sold to its viewers. Some cable news anchors draw more fire and criticism, while others enjoy jumping on the topic of the day and running with it until the next topic comes up.

Glenn Beck is on the Fox News Chanel which is on cable. Some of you may have or have not hear of him. After watching several of his shows and seeing what opponents and proponents of Mr. Beck have to say; I have reached the following conclusion. Glenn Beck is nothing out of the ordinary. He is not on TV to initiate the next revolution, nor is the leader of some right wing conspiracy project in the works.

Mr. Glenn Beck is simply just a government whistleblower. Really. Look at it from both sides and you will see what he is doing is simply what the media is suppose to do. Report on the government for the people of the United States of America. If you honestly look at the situation with Beck, and see it from a non-biased point of view, its clear. All he is doing is reporting the facts about the people running our government. Who they are, what they believe in, stuff on record of them saying, and thats about it. The material Beck presents is what it is. If Beck is wrong about something, he will correct himself. People can be in denial all they want, but he isn't reporting lies. Granted, he does have a point of view himself, but he also has a love for this country.

Say Allan Colmes, a known liberal radio show host, had the same type of show as Beck does back when President George W. Bush was in office. Would Allan Colmes been scrutinized and boycotted as the way Beck is being currently treated? Absolutely not. Why? Because there truly is a bias in the media and we as people need to accept it and make decisions for ourselves. Remeber there is always two sides to a story, sometimes three to say the least. My dad had always told me that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is untrue.

I do encourage anyone who doubts me to watch Glenn Beck for a week. And then watch the Ed Show on MSNBC for a week and tell who makes sense. Just by contrastaint those two shows is start to what I am trying to explain here. Or even just one show if you have never seen either. I have watched them both, and I was shocked as to see whats going on out there. Try it out.

Decoys, Decoys, Decoys...

You know people that we come across in life sure can be interesting characters. A buddy of mine and me were looking to buy some used decoys for us to go duck hunting. The both of us already have some decoys and we were looking to add some more ducks to our spread. We came across one on a website selling some duck decoys. Apparently the guys selling those particular decoys were looking to get above and way beyond the retail value of what they had for sale. After bartering for a few days back and forth we left the ball in their court. Nothing. No sale and two bummed out hunters.

But, then mysteriously I came across a older postiong for geese decoys for sale. Geese decoys are much bigger than duck decoys, and cost a heck of a lot more. After some emails, and a phone call, my buddy and I were off to pick up our new used geese decoys. The price was beyond fair and almost too good to be true. Everything worked out great and we ended up with a lot more quality decoys than we ever would have imagined for at a great price.

Long story short, I ended going back a few days later to get some geese decoys. I was able to talk my girlfriend into buying me them for my Christmas/Birthday present. Since the guy selling them was practically giving them away, and there was no apparent stress sale going on; I took him a gift to show my appreciation for what he did for me and my friend, along with the cash too of course.

What I want to say is that when somebody takes care of you, you should voluntarily take care of them back in any way that you can. Does not have to be extravagant or anything, but just a little something to show that you acknowledge what they did for you. My belief is that acting like this will always put a positive image of yourself into someone else's mind. Showing appreciation is always a good thing. And you never know when you may need a favor or help.
