Meow

So... my boyfriend has a lot of cats. He only had two but recently they both made a few tiny kittens. The second one is kinda wild and not so human-friendly and she kept the kittens hidden for a bit until we found them whrile looking for the other ones. Quite a funny scene I might add , both me and my boyfriend shouting 'I found them' at the same time. One of them has already been adopted but there are still 3 left: 2 with blue eyes and one with a green eye and a blue one. When the older two cats (which by the way, are mother and daughter) found out that they both have babies they merged into one big happy family and both of them are taking care of all the kittens. The tiny ones are adorable especially when they start playing or fighting for their mother's milk. I wanted to take some pictures of them one day but I ended up making a little video too because they were just too cute. Not such a good quality video (I haven't really been filming until now) but it has adorable kittens in it hehehe

Zilele Argesului

Ultima saptamana a fost una destul de importanta pentru judetul Arges. Au fost zilele orasului Curtea de Arges si aparent si zilele -partii de pe langa cetatea Poenari- (*insert name here*, desi nu sunt chiar sigura daca au fost 'zilele' sau pur si simplu s-au hotarat si ei sa faca ceva pe-acolo). Cert e ca toata lumea a fost pusa pe petreceri, a venit balciul (ca in fiecare an, de altfel) si au fost tot felul de concerte si momente artistice. Eu, una, nu ma omor dupa chestiile de genul, mai ales ca majoritatea artistilor romani ma lasa rece, dar, dat fiind faptul ca nu prea se intampla nimic prin partile astea, lumea a fost incantata si au venit cu totii sa vada spectacolul. Eu am iesit doar ca sa fac poze. Nu am fost eu peste tot, in toate zilele, desi chiar am vrut sa prezint fiecare lucru care s-a intamplat, dar am facut cateva poze si am prins si cateva momente. In Curtea de Arges nu am prins niciun concert, dar am auzit ca a cantat o multime de artisti si stiu ca maica-mea a fost foarte incantata de niste dansatori de pe alte meleaguri (sincer, partea asta chiar imi pare si mie rau ca am pierdut-o). In schimb, am fost in balci (nu m-am dat in nimic pentru ca sunt 'pampalau'. Exact, 'pampalau', e cel mai potrivit cuvant si nu stiam daca are feminin) si am facut cateva poze.

Anul asta locatia balciului a fost Stadionul din Curtea de Arges si parca n-au fost asa multe masinarii ca in alti ani (desi n-as putea sa garantez, dat fiind faptul ca n-am mai fost in balci de ani de zile). Mestesugarii s-au imputinat si ei, iar nelipsitele standuri cu mici si friptura erau inconjurate de mese albe, de acelasi fel; un pic mai organizat, parca.

La Cetatea Poenari a fost mai putina lume, dar la fel de multa voie buna. Au fost mici momente artistice cu oameni 'de-ai casei', dansuri si cantece traditionale, niste dansuri moderne, un dans tiganesc si o fetita cu un par lung, lung ,care a cantat cateva cover-uri. Apoi au aparut trupele mult asteptate, in deschidere cu Blue Sound Chicago, trupa lui Vali Craciunescu. Mi-a placut de ei foarte mult, a fost prima oara cand i-am auzit si "stanga unu, dreapta doi, c-asa-i thunderu' la noi" (o combinatie intre 'Thunder Struck' de la ACDC si hora noastra romaneasca) m-a omorat :D .

Apoi a aparut trupa Iris si parca s-a mai inmultit lumea. A fost prima oara cand le-am vazut solistul nou si suna ...wait for it... la fel ca cel vechi , numai ca mai bine ! :O hehe Nu stiu daca s-a incheiat cu Iris sau daca a mai cantat cineva pentru ca am plecat mai devreme, dar a fost un spectacol dragut in felul sau.

Cam asta a fost rezumatul meu despre zilele Argesului. Sper ca voi, ceilalti care ati participat la festivitati, v-ati distrat pe cinste si sper ca v-ati dat in monstruozitatile alea din balci si pentru mine tehehe

I'm so sorry I couldn't get the dog to sit a little bit more to the right so that he wouldn't get covered by that tree. But as soon as I tried to move him he got scared (or whatnot) and ran away. Oh well...

My very first cinemagraph, it's not much but I now know what the deal with them is and I'll be trying to make more of these . Hopefully I'll have the inspiration , too. It's lots of fun, I enjoyed doing this although the result was not exactly what I wanted. Having a camera that can film is really exquisite.

A few days ago, me and Andi, my boyfriend, went to take some pictures near the place he lives. I always want to take pictures and I absolutely love taking walks in nature. I was a bit frustrated at first, given the fact that it rained a day before and the path was all mudy, which wouldn't have been all that bad if I had known and wore proper clothes. Nevertheless, the frustration soon went away and the beautiful scenery took its place in my mind.

I believe that this part of Curtea de Arges is the most beautiful part. There are probably a few places that I haven't explored yet but I think I know at least 90% of this tiny town.

In any case, we started climbing through the path in the forest. After some 10-20 minutes, on the right side we saw a house. Andi knew it. Apparently it was a single man's house. It was a simple house with a white, beautiful dog in the yard. I bet it was amazing living there. No neighbours (maybe just a few deers and bears), peace, quiet and a gorgeous scenery out of your window. I am really curious how that man manages without electricity or if he has any power source.

Short after that we arrived in the most amazing forest glade. We took a break there and I entertained myself with photographing a butterfly that was showing off his beautiful wings. There was enough space for a small house there and also for a garden. I really hope I'll be able to live in a place like that one day.

We walked for an hour or two and then we decided to come back on another road. On our way home we also gathered a few of those white mushrooms. I was so tired at the end, I could barely move anymore. But the whole thing was worth it.

This was my first little expedition this year.. With the guide of Andi, hopefully I will get to see a lot more of the places around here this summer.
