Feeling good!

What would it take to get you feeling good about your current situation? The answer is, your own choice. You can wait and hope and fight and beg for external validation. But the truth is, you can feel good without any outside reason. You can feel good because that’s the way you choose to feel. You can see the hope, the possibilities, the positive aspects of this moment just by deciding to do so. Do you find yourself longing for something to feel good about? Then go ahead and feel good about right now. Feel good about the fact that you treasure and desire goodness in life. Feel good about your ability to choose a positive perspective any time you wish. Be the source of good feeling for yourself, and for others as well. See the goodness, live the goodness, and share the goodness that flows from your own desire to make it so.

Today will be the best one yet, if you expect it to be. Your dreams will come to life, if you give your passion and energy to them in every moment.

You can be creative in such a way that the whole world celebrates your creativity. Or you can be just as creative in ways that only you will ever know. Being alive is being immersed in an ever-expanding set of possibilities. Being creative is giving your own special meaning and purpose to those possibilities. Creativity is a special kind of magic. It produces more value than it consumes. When you are stuck, creativity will move you forward. When the goal seems completely out of reach, creativity will open up a way there. In all you do, find new ways to be creative. Creativity is one of your most valuable skills, so put its power to work every chance you get.

Reaching Your Goal

When you see someone who is enormously successful, you naturally want to know how he or she did it. Although it can certainly be helpful to understand how others achieve, that's not really the most crucial factor.

For your own success, it is even more important to clearly know what you wish to achieve, and to clearly understand why you wish to achieve it. Once you're absolutely certain about what and why, you are absolutely able to figure out how.

Even before you could talk, you were able to figure out how to get what you wanted. As your knowledge and experience have increased, so have your skills for reaching your goals.

If you're having trouble attaining any of those goals, it's not because you don't know how, or because you can't figure it out. The problem is you're not completely clear about exactly what you wish, or not completely sure about why.

It could be that the goal itself is not really yours. If it's just something you assumed would be nice, that's not going to give you a strong enough sense of purpose.

Dig deep into your purpose and make sure that what you're working toward is truly what you desire. Once you're clear about what and why, you'll know what steps to take.

If you're worried that there will be too many problems, quit worrying. There will be plenty of problems and you'll work your way through every one of them.

If you're wondering whether it will be worth the effort, stop wondering and start doing. You're much better off doing something than doing nothing.

Are you waiting until you're sure you can get it perfect. Stop waiting, start doing, and though it may not be perfect, it will be done, and you can then improve on it all you wish.

Do you seem to be encountering too many distractions? Remind yourself why you have chosen to move forward, and re-focus your efforts.

You will achieve when you choose to do. This is your time to do.

You already know how to feel happy, or thankful, or loved, or inspired. So go ahead and let yourself feel the way you wish to feel, right here, right now.

It's great when others offer encouragement to you, but you can also feel encouraged all by yourself. It is wonderful when someone expresses love to you, yet you can also feel the power of love even when you are alone.

There is no need to wait or to beg or to compromise yourself in order to attain a certain feeling. All you must do is choose to feel the way you wish to feel.

It's easy to blame your circumstances for holding you back. It's much more powerful, though, to accept those circumstances and begin working with the value they offer.

Let your sense of determination come not from fear, but from love. Focus your energy not on what you wish to avoid, but on what you intend to create.

In a calm and peaceful spirit there is great power. When driven by a positive purpose, you'll always have the energy to move forward.

There may certainly be situations you detest, that you wish to move quickly away from. Yet when that is your only focus, when you're constantly looking backwards, you're more likely to stumble.

Choose where you do want to be, what you do want to experience and the life you do want to lead. Make your goals positive, and your actions will be immensely more effective.

Be calmly and persistently determined to achieve what you have chosen to achieve. And you'll find ways to put every day, and every circumstance, to work in your favor.

If you were someone else, what advice would you give yourself? If you could step back from being you, and look objectively at what you're doing and how you're living, what changes would you recommend?

It's easy to imagine the straightforward advice you'd give to someone else, because you don't have to follow that advice. Now imagine applying that same level of honesty and objectivity to your own situation.

Remember that you are not your problems, as intimate as those difficulties may feel. You do indeed have the ability to step back and to see clearly what you must do.

You have it within you to rise above every difficulty. You are absolutely capable of knowing and doing what will bring true fulfillment.

Take an honest, loving look at where you are. See the very real and positive possibilities available to you.

Rise above the limitations you've been imposing on yourself. Live your true values and fulfill the best that you know is within you.

In every situation there is the opportunity to give a little bit more. By doing so, you can vastly improve the value created in that situation.

If you've already invested time and effort in something, consider giving just a little bit more. Add to the momentum that's already there.

If you're already making the effort, giving a little bit more gives even more value to the effort you've already made. It creates greater value from the combined effort.

There are plenty of opportunities to give a little bit more. By doing so, you can easily distinguish yourself and set yourself apart from the crowd.

Make the most of the momentum you've already established by extending the momentum as long as you can. Once you're on a roll, give a little more, and keep your efforts rolling strong.

The more burdensome the challenge, the more valuable the response. Out of extreme difficulty, greatness is born.

When things seem to be at their worst, they are likely to soon get much better. The more intensely the problems are illuminated, the more effectively they can be addressed.

Don't focus on the fear, but rather on the opportunity to better prepare yourself. Is there something that makes you sad? Rather than focusing on the sadness, be thankful for the fact that you care so much. Is there something that makes you anxious? Don't focus on the anxiety, but rather on the positive purpose you wish to achieve. No matter what happens, you are always free to choose where to focus. Choose to focus on the positive, and you'll be choosing to bring great value to life.
