Chill is a 1-year-old smaller medium-sized Puli girl with the softest eyes and the gentlest soul.

This beautiful girl was found abandoned alongside another Puli cross and taken to a kill shelter, where her future looked uncertain. Thankfully, she was given a second chance and came into our care.

When Chill first arrived, she was timid and reserved, unsure of the world around her. But once she settled into boarding and realised she was safe, her true personality slowly began to shine.

Today, her tail is up, she greets us with a smile, and every day she grows a little braver.

True to her name, Chill is exactly that – calm, quiet, easy-going and wonderfully relaxed. She is relaxed around other dogs, too and mingles beautifully with them, although she can feel overwhelmed by noisy or boisterous dogs.

She walks nicely on the lead and has a peaceful, gentle nature.

Calm, kind and sweet-natured

Walks beautifully on the lead

Friendly with other dogs

Best suited to a quieter home

Gaining confidence every day

After being abandoned once, we would love her next chapter to be the one she truly deserves — a home where she will never be left behind again, where she is included in everyday life and can become a treasured member of the family.

Currently in Hungary and ready to travel to the UK once the right family is found.

Camila is an approximately 5 year old female Cross-Breed of medium size, currently in kennels in Macedonia and hoping to find a home in the UK.

Camila is an affectionate, friendly, and social little dog with a very easy-going and loving temperament. She enjoys human company and forms bonds quickly, often seeking closeness and affection from people she meets.

She gets along very well with other dogs and is happy in their company. She has also been assessed as being comfortable around cats. Camila is suitable to live with children and is generally a playful and sociable girl.

Despite spending time in kennel conditions, Camila is still a cheerful girl, always happy to greet people warmly. She shows a bright, affectionate personality even in a stressful environment.

Camila is the type of dog who enjoys companionship and will likely thrive in a home where she can be included in daily life. She enjoys being near her people and would suit a home where she can be part of the family routine.

Camila has tested positive for leishmania but is not displaying any symptoms. Dogs with leishmania can often live long, happy lives, and the condition can usually be managed with appropriate treatment and monitoring.

She is ready to travel to the UK for adoption with full rescue support.

When contacting us, please include a phone number or a non-iCloud email address, as iCloud emails are currently bouncing and we cannot contact applicants using them.

All dogs rehomed via this rescue will be vaccinated, neutered/spayed, and microchipped. Home checks apply, and full post-adoption support is offered.

Molly is an approximately 2 year old female Cross-Breed of medium size, currently in Blackpool and looking for either a foster placement or a permanent home.

Molly originally travelled to the UK and spent time in a foster home where she settled well and learned the basics of home life.

She lived with another dog, children, cats, and small animals, and was affectionate and well bonded with her family during this time.

When she later moved into an adoptive home, Molly struggled with the change in environment and the lack of consistent structure.

She became increasingly unsettled within the home, including behaviours such as patrolling and guarding areas of the house.

On walks, she also began to show the early development of reactivity. As the family felt unable to continue supporting her through these challenges, Molly was returned to the rescue and moved into kennels.

Since arriving in kennels, Molly has settled well and has shown a much more stable and relaxed temperament. She is friendly with everyone she meets and has shown no reactivity or redirected behaviours in the kennel environment.

She is a firm favourite with staff and is described as affectionate, sociable, and easy to handle.

It is expected that Molly will need a structured, consistent home environment going forward, with continued training, clear boundaries, and patient guidance to help her feel secure and supported. With this in place, she has the potential to thrive.

Molly is an affectionate and loving young dog who enjoys human company and forms strong bonds once settled.

She may need time to build confidence with new people due to her previous experiences, but she is willing to engage and responds well to calm handling.

She is an active dog who will require regular exercise and mental stimulation. She has good recall and walks nicely on the lead when settled.

Molly could potentially live with other dogs and has previously lived with cats and small animals, with appropriate introductions. A secure garden and a stable, predictable home environment will be important for her.

Molly is now ready for a committed home that can offer her structure, patience, and ongoing support so she can move forward confidently and safely.

Goldie is a 5 year old female Cross-Breed weighing approximately 48kg and is looking for her forever home from Blackpool, UK.

Goldie spent most of her life in a multi-dog household where she was settled and familiar with her routine.

When her family’s circumstances changed significantly, including long working hours and health issues, they were no longer able to meet her needs. Her world changed quickly, and she began a difficult period of instability.

She moved through a couple of foster homes but found the changes and time alone overwhelming and struggled to settle. Because of this, she eventually moved into kennels, where she has now been for several months.

Kennel life has taken time for her to adjust to, but she is gradually learning to feel safe again. With people she knows and trusts, her personality shines through.

She forms strong bonds, seeks affection, and shows a deeply loyal and loving nature once she feels secure.

She enjoys the company of familiar kennel staff and, in those moments of trust, she becomes playful, affectionate, and eager for closeness and reassurance.

She walks well on the lead and enjoys her walks once she has built a bond with her handler.

She can be wary of unfamiliar people and needs time to build trust at her own pace.

She also shows guarding instincts around her home and people, particularly when meeting new individuals, so she will need an experienced, understanding home that can manage this calmly and safely.

Because of this, Goldie is looking for an adult-only home with a quiet, predictable environment and limited visitors, ideally in a rural or low-traffic setting.

She could potentially live with calm, friendly dogs following careful introductions, as they may help support her confidence.

Goldie is not suited to a busy household, but in the right stable and experienced home, she has every chance to build a strong, trusting bond and thrive.

Meets and greets can be arranged following a successful home check.

Rocco is a medium sized crossbreed aged around two years old. Rocco fostered North Walsham Norfolk.

Rocco is from, what followers of safe rescue know to be, the barking Bush in Crivatu Romania. It is an area of shrub land known to be used to dump rubbish, furniture, and unwanted dogs.

We have a history of busting a gut to catch dumped dogs from this area before anything bad happens to them. In Rocco’s case he and one sibling escaped death by only twenty four hours.

The day after volunteers managed to catch them and get them safe, the rest of the litter were mercilessly slaughtered and left in the rubbish.

Whilst their siblings were being given a respectful burial, Rocco and his sister were being taken to a private shelter where they remained safe and cared for until we could take them here in the UK.

Rocco arrived in the UK when he was seven months old and his luck has continued to be against him since then.

Rocco has been adopted twice and returned twice for completely unavoidable reasons. The first return was due to unforeseen health issues of his single owner so there was nobody to care for him.

The second reluctant return recently was due to the other dog in the household refusing to accept him even though his loving owners tried so hard for months to make it work.

Rocco is a delightful and friendly boy who is a delightful foster. He plays beautifully within the pack but could also be the only dog in the home. He could live with respectful children aged ten plus.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog.

If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs).

The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night).

Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging.

If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted.

Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs.

Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a crate. Fences and gates must be 5foot minimum in height and secure. If you are interested please message.

Agika is a 1 year old female Cross-Breed. She is a small mixed-breed girl looking for her forever family.

This little girl has suffered so much in her short life; still, she is a little miracle. She was rescued from a heartbreaking situation where she had been kept on a short chain that had grown deep into her neck.

Once she was released, the chain had to be surgically removed.

Despite a truly rough start, Agika is a real sweetheart—loving, affectionate, and full of life. When she was rescued, she was timid and afraid of the world.

However, she soon left her old self behind, learned that some people can be trusted, and has grown into a joyful dog who loves life, loves other dogs, and now loves people too.

She walks nicely on the lead and looks forward to her walks, which she does not get many of.

She loves attention and will happily accept any amount of cuddles or affection. Agika is ready to start a new life in a safe, loving home where she will be treated the way she has always deserved.

She wants to be part of the family and discover all the things she has not yet had the chance to see or sniff.

Experience with rescue dogs is preferred but is not essential, as all applications are assessed individually.

Agika is in Hungary and will travel to the UK once a home has been secured for her. She comes spayed and fully vaccinated, with an EU pet passport.

Adoption is subject to a home check and adoption fee. Full rescue backup is provided.

Sully is a 5 year old medium size male cross breed. He looks like someone accidentally shrunk a Rottweiler in the wash. He’s handsome, compact, and has mastered the art of looking at you as if he’s contemplating the meaning of life.

Sully’s story didn’t begin so happily, he was surrendered in Hungary by a British family along with several other dogs.

They arrived frightened of people, fearful of new experiences, and clearly hadn’t been shown the love, kindness and guidance that every dog deserves.

For Sully the world was a scary place initially. But then he saw people who were kind to him, spoke gently, and gave him time. And it didn’t take long for him to realise that not all humans let you down.

Today Sully is a completely different dog, he enjoys life and likes human company, and although he still has his moments of insecurity, he is now curious and not fearful of the world around him.

He is a loyal, kind natured boy, quite placid in temperament. He isn’t a high energy dog either who would need endless adventures and entertainment all through the day, but he will happily join you on your walks and then enjoy home time sharing the sofa with you.

What he really wants though is a family who won’t give up on him.

Sully is friendly with most dogs with sensible introductions, very excitable dogs are probably not the best match for him but he could happily live with a friendly placid dog.

He is friendly around children, too, but he would probably be best suited to an adult-only home as he is not used to the noise and chaos that can come with young children.

We can cat test him for the right applicant.

He would really love to leave his shelter days behind and start a new life.

Lana is a 3 month old chihuahua cross girl from Hungary who is expected to be smaller medium size when fully grown.

Lana has already had a difficult start in life, she was found with her mum and sister in a deprived area where her mum had been badly treated. Despite everything they have been through, Lana has chosen love over fear.

This beautiful girl is a happy, friendly puppy who loves cuddles and being close to people, she is a true lapdog. She has a slightly calmer nature than her sister, but still enjoys playing, exploring and having fun.

She is a sweet affectionate puppy who could happily live with a doggie mate or be the only dog in the home.

She is also happy around children and can live with older dog savvy kids.

We can also cat test her for the right applicant.

Lana has never known what it’s like to belong to a family of her own, but she’s ready to learn. She dreams of cuddles in bed, fun adventures, belly rubs and people to love for the rest of her life.

Meet lovely little Pille.

Pille is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed, a tiny and gentle girl with so much love in her heart.

Life hasn’t always been kind to Pille. She was found abandoned with two other little dogs and, because of her past, she can still be a little timid initially.

She is looking for a patient and understanding family and a calm, peaceful home where she can feel completely safe and loved.

Pille is a very quiet, sweet-natured little dog who adores affection. In fact, she’s the kind of little angel who will happily fall asleep in your arms.

She gets along well with other dogs, but she does not pay too much attention to them and would also be perfectly happy as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention for herself.

Being so small, she would barely take up any room at all and she’d fit perfectly in someone’s bed.

We hope Pille won’t have to wake up in the shelter for much longer.

Pille is in Hungary, ready to travel once a home has been secured for her.

She comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and with an EU pet passport.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Full RBU provided.

Loki, a beautiful 2 year old Siberian Husky needs a new home through no fault of his own.

The owner has serious health problems and is unable to give him the care and attention he needs and deserves. He is spending more and more time in kennels which is far from ideal.

Loki is a lovely boy, he loves his toys and he has a kind nature. He is currently the only dog in the household, but he is friendly with dogs and wants to play on walks so he has the potential to live with another friendly dog.

He is also used to living with older children.

He is fully vaccinated and microchipped and up to date with flea and worming
treatments.

Loki is in Chorley, Lancashire where he is visitable upon arrangement.

Home Check and Adoption Fee apply.
