Bello is a 2-year-old male Cross-Breed. He is described as a gentle little boy with a wonderful character, making him a lovely companion for the right home. His calm and kind nature suggests he would settle well into a caring environment.

He is suitable to live with other dogs, showing that he is social and comfortable around canine companions. However, he is not suitable to live with cats, so a cat-free home will be necessary.

This helps ensure that he can live happily without added stress or conflict.

Bello would do well in a home with older children, indicating that he is best suited to a household where interactions are more predictable and considerate.

His gentle personality makes him a good match for families or individuals who can provide patience and affection. He appears to be a well-balanced dog who enjoys companionship and attention.

He is currently located in Cyprus but is able to travel to the UK or elsewhere in Europe for the right home. This provides an opportunity for adopters outside his current location to offer him a loving environment.

His willingness to travel expands his chances of finding a suitable family.

Bello will be rehomed with a full adoption package, ensuring his health and wellbeing are prioritised. This includes being vaccinated, microchipped, blood tested, neutered, and having full RBU.

These preparations mean he is ready to transition smoothly into his new home.

A home check will be required as part of the adoption process, ensuring that Bello is placed in a safe and appropriate setting. Interested adopters are encouraged to make contact and express their interest.

He is ready to find a family who will appreciate his gentle nature and give him the care he deserves.

Columbine is a 1-year-old female Cross-Breed. She is currently searching for her forever family and is described as a sweet and friendly girl. Her affectionate nature makes her especially fond of people, and she enjoys human companionship.

She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, showing that she is sociable and comfortable in a multi-dog environment. However, she is not suitable to live with cats, so a feline-free home would be essential for her wellbeing.

She would be best suited to a household that understands her needs and can provide a stable environment.

Columbine is suitable for a home with older children, suggesting she would thrive in a family setting where interactions are calm and respectful.

Her gentle and friendly temperament makes her a lovely companion for those willing to give her time and care. She is clearly a dog that enjoys being part of a family and would benefit from consistent attention and affection.

She will come with a full adoption package, ensuring she is well-prepared for her new home. This includes being vaccinated, microchipped, blood tested, neutered, and having a full RBU.

These measures show that her health and wellbeing have been carefully managed prior to adoption.

A home check will be required as part of the adoption process, ensuring that Columbine is placed in a safe and suitable environment.

This is an important step to guarantee that her new home meets her needs. Anyone interested in adopting her is encouraged to make contact and express their interest.

Columbine is a lovely girl with a friendly personality and a lot of love to give. With the right home, she has the potential to become a loyal and cherished companion.

She is ready to begin the next chapter of her life with a family who will give her the care and affection she deserves.

10 year old Jack Russell Terrier crossbreed Lola arrived in our care as her owner sadly went into hospital.

No longer able to care for her long term, the heart-breaking decision was made to surrender Lola to One Wish so that we can find her a wonderful retirement home.
?
Although Lola has led a sheltered life over the past few years, she has shown so much resilience. She settled very quickly in her foster home and her adorable character started to shine almost from the start.
?
A typical terrier, Lola is full of character and she has an endearing cheeky streak despite her age. We believe that Lola is almost totally deaf but it doesn’t hold her back at all.

She loves strokes, cuddles and snuggling with her people. She also really enjoys walks so a home where she can still get out and about on adventures is a must.
?
Lola has socialised with other dogs since she has been with us but she shows little interest in making four-legged friends. She would prefer a home where she is the only pet, so that she can have all the fuss to herself.

She could live with teenage children and older, as we feel she would be overwhelmed by a full time home with younger children.
?
?Although she is in good health, Lola needs a dental which we will be booking in imminently. So for the time being, her forever family will need to live within driving distance of our vet in Hook Norton.?
?
We’d love to find Lola the perfect retirement home. If you think you might be able to offer her the happiest of lives, please register your interest below.

Beautiful 6 year old whippet cross lurcher Breeze came into our care as a stray from the pound. We don’t know anything about her past but what we do know is that she’s an absolute sweetheart.

?We believe that she is around 6 years old, and it is clear that she suffered in her previous life.

Our vet has confirmed that sadly, she has been used over and over again for breeding and due to a poor diet and lifestyle, almost all of her teeth need to be
removed.

As she needs to put on some weight before it’s safe to have her dental surgery, Breeze’s forever family will need to live within driving distance of our vet in Hook Norton.

?Despite her past traumas, Breeze is loving, affectionate and wants to be around her people as much as possible. She loves going for nice, long walks and then spending the rest of the day relaxing.

Although she loves human company, she can be left for short
periods and house training has gone very well so far in her foster home.

?Given her breed, she cannot live with cats or small furries and although she is happy to meet other dogs on walks, we suspect that she will prefer to be the only dog in her home. We would be happy for Breeze to share her home with children over 10 years old.

?We’re committed to finding Breeze the happy ever after she deserves. If you think you can offer her the life she has always dreamed of, please do get in touch.

Fantastic Freya!

Please meet Fantastic Freya! Freya is an absolutely gorgeous Pembroke Welsh corgi that is 4 years old. Freya was a show dog, she came to us along with 5 other dogs following the death of her owner.

Freya marched in here like she owned the place, we were expecting a bewildered dog when she arrived in foster with us, all she wanted was to have a snuggle with me, its very easy to fall in love with this adorable little lady. I mean, just look at her!

Freya is a beautiful little lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new family, Freya will literally do anything for food, so is very easy to train!

Freya has settled well into our routine and loves pack life, she loves to explore but will always come back when she hears the treat tub opening!!

Freya is neutered, microchipped, de flead and wormed and fully vaccinated. Freya is house trained, walks well on the lead once she is confident with you, she is not destructive however if something is left lying around, she will have a nibble, she loves to shred cardboard!

She can be left happily for short periods, She loves to be left snoozing on my bed and is often snuggled up with the other dogs.

She is a very social little lady so could live with other dogs or would be equally happy as the only dog with lots of human company!

Freya is adorable both inside and out, as far as I am aware she doesn’t have much experience of children but would be able to live with children teenage and above.

Freya is an inquisitive and responsive little lady, but a very typical stubborn corgi, she is quick to learn and easy to train when food is around,

She loves her home comforts and a cuddle, and likes to sleep on the bed with you if she is allowed, although she is equally settled downstairs.

Freya travels very well in the car, she is just an all round pleasure to have, she is cheeky cute, has the most adorable fluffy butt you have ever seen and has a lovely little wiggle, full of attitude and mischief in equal measure.

Whoever adopts this little lady will be very lucky indeed as she really has the most amazing character and just wants to love her humans.

Can you offer this beautiful little lady the home she so desperately deserves?

Prince is a very handsome 12 year old lurcher. He stands 25 inches to the shoulder and 27kgs.

He is a an amazing sweet and loving dog who loves to curl up next to you for cuddles and fuss.

He has got on with all the humans he has met and also all the dogs he is currently sharing his home with other lurchers male & female who he gets on with really well.

He is fully house trained and walks well on the lead and is great in the car.

Prince likes to sleep in the bedroom of his foster home as he doesn’t like to be alone so we are looking for a home with someone around a lot of the time.

Prince has been castrated, vaccinated and has undergone a full dental so he is now ready to find his forever home and we hope that he doesn’t have to wait too long.

Little Finn a 12 month approx Jack Russell mix was found straying on a busy main road alongside Hattie. He wasn’t microchipped, and sadly no owner ever came forward to claim him from the stray pound.

From the moment he arrived, Finn melted everyone’s hearts. He’s an old soul in a young body—not your typical terrier. He is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and simply loves being around people.

Since moving into foster, Finn has been an absolute dream. He settled quickly into a home environment, is very polite with the resident dogs (who welcomed him immediately), and sleeps happily in his crate at night.

Although he had clearly never lived in a home before, his house training is progressing really well.

Lead walking was also completely new to him, but he has taken to it with ease. Finn is a relaxed and easy-going little dog. While everything is still new to him, he takes it all in his stride and isn’t easily fazed.

He even attended a busy dog show during his first week—where he won first prize for Best Crossbreed! Despite being surrounded by unfamiliar dogs, he remained calm, happily lying amongst them or relaxing under a car to keep cool.

Finn has since met other dogs out and about and is always polite. He enjoys playing, but he’s not over the top—just a lovely balance of calm and fun. He’s also a very intelligent little dog who picks things up quickly.

We are looking for a home that will recognise Finn’s potential and continue the fantastic work his foster carer has started—helping him build confidence through positive experiences so he can truly thrive.

Finn could suit a variety of homes. He doesn’t necessarily need to live with another dog, as he adores people, but he would benefit from regular interaction with other dogs—either through doggy friends or a compatible resident dog.

He is currently living happily with older dogs and is very respectful of them.

What Finn really needs is to be at the heart of his new family’s world. He wouldn’t suit a home where he is left alone for long periods or a very busy household where he might get lost in the hustle and bustle.

Finn has been fully vet-checked with no concerns, is neutered, microchipped, and has started his vaccinations.

If you feel you could offer this very special boy the loving home he deserves, we would love to hear from you.

Our extra special boy Frankie is just under one year old and a rather dapper small cross breed with a strong beagle appearance.

Frankie weighs a humble eight kilos and measures ten inches from shoulder to paw. Having arrived at our Cyprus shelter as part of an unwanted litter, Frankie has been there most of life.

Frankie has a powerful facial expression which is nicely enhanced by his woeful puppy dog eyes. With the most appealing ears and a wonderful tri colour coat. Frankie’s appearance could best be described as a showstopper.

He is just so good looking.

Our shelter manager describes Frankie as lively and bubbly with a great love for humans.

Recognising that he is fairly high energy, Frankie would be best suited to a family with a busy lifestyle including lots of walks and exercise.

Frankie’s nature is sublime, and his adopters will be overjoyed and truly blessed.

Frankie walks reasonably well on his lead but would benefit from more training. He enjoys his time in the car, and seems to mix perfectly well with other dogs, cats and children.

REMY – READY FOR HIS FOREVER HOME

Remy is a 1 year old male Breton Cross

Remy is the kind of dog who will fill your life with movement, joy, and endless energy.

Remy hasn’t always known kindness.

He was found in a crowded municipal pound – one of many dogs, waiting, overlooked. Like so many Bretons, he was once a hunting dog… and when he was no longer useful, he was simply left behind. No goodbye. No second thought.

But Remy hasn’t let that define him.

Despite everything, he is still full of love, life, and trust in humans.

This handsome young Breton is incredibly affectionate with people and fantastic with other dogs. He’s also great with children (8+), making him a wonderful companion for an active family.

While he enjoys cuddles and attention, Remy’s true passion is being outside – running, playing, exploring, and making the most of every moment. He is 50 cm tall and weighs 14 kg.

Remy is a lively, high-energy boy who thrives on activity. He will need a home that understands his needs and can provide plenty of daily exercise, stimulation, and enrichment.

Long walks, playtime with other dogs, and space to run will make him the happiest version of himself.

What to know about Remy:

Very friendly with humans, dogs, and children
Young, active, and full of life
Loves running and playing above all else
Affectionate, but not a couch potato
Food-motivated (he LOVES his meals!)
Can be protective over food while eating, so must be fed separately
Remy doesn’t show obvious signs of trauma – he’s simply a sensitive, energetic dog who experiences the world with enthusiasm. He’s not dominant or submissive with other dogs; he just happily does his own thing and joins in play when it suits him.

Ideal home:

Remy would thrive in an active household that can match his energy and give him structure, exercise, and fun. A home with another playful dog would be a bonus, but is not essential. Most importantly, he needs adopters who understand that young working breeds like the Breton require both physical and mental stimulation.

With the right home, Remy will be an incredibly rewarding companion – loyal, loving, and full of personality.

All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough.

All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella canis.

All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Remy is neutered. Full medical information will be provided upon successful application.

Could you be the one to give Remy the life he’s been waiting for?

Adoption contract and fee, homecheck, and lifetime rescue back-up apply.
