PPE pet supplies is a complete joke. DO NOT buy this item from them. They gave me a delivery estimate which was 11 days later from the order date. If that wasn't enough, they waited until the 11th day to SHIP the item. Now it has been 5 days and the "track package" link shows that the item has been stuck in Texas. Not sure if I'll ever get it.

Hey PPE Pet supplies, If you can not satisfy the customer, then why are you running a business? What are you in it for? When I bought the item, it did NOT say that it was out of stock, even though it was. If It had said that, I obviously would have chosen another item which I would have sitting in front of me right now. It amazes me that a company can overshoot their delivery estimate by 15 days and just go on about their business like nothing has happened. Meanwhile, it is the customer who suffers. Here is your list of to do things:

1. Develop a software which updates inventory status MUCH quicker, so that customers are not mislead.
2. If a customer receives their item later than estimated delivery, give them a 20% credit,
3. If you can not honor the delivery estimate then DO NOT PROVIDE ONE.
4. If the above can not be done, then close the business.

This is a fabulous product - SO well made, sturdy, cute, and well designed. The packs themselves are attached with velcro so you can pull them off the harness for rest periods - don't have to take the entire thing off each time.

I have read so many great things about backpacks for hyper dogs. I have a Rat Terrier who has more energy than our daily walks could satisfy. A 15 minute walk with a backpack like this one is said to equal a 45 minute walk without the pack - so I tried it. First thing I noticed was my dog's immediate calmness. He walked so well beside me - because now he had a job to do, a purpose. He wasn't all over the place thinking for himself, he was carrying my water for me! He walks so calmly, and a 20 or 30 minute walk is enough to make him calm and submissive the rest of the day.

I use a really small water bottle on each side (8 oz each) and the pack weighs 10 oz to start with. We stop from time to time and I get a drink for both of us, so he's aware he's carrying our water, and as we go along the pack gets lighter as we use the water.

Many people have stopped us to ask about the backpacks and I hope my recommendations have brought them here to this store. I wish I'd heard of these years ago!

I used to have a really hard time getting my cats into their carriers to take them to the vet. I had these plastic carriers that I had to tip on their sides and basically drop them into the carriers against their will. Now, since my cats lounge around in their carriers (with the doors totally off) at home, they don't mind being in them when I put the doors on to take them to the vet. At first I bought a small one, and my siamese mix (Doodles) loved it so much that I had to get another one (a large) for my fat cat Peter.

I've used my carriers A LOT and I haven't had any problems. They seem very well made and durable.

I have owned this stroller for about 3 years now, and it still works great! I take my cat to the veterinarian in it, and he really enjoys the ride. At first, he would meow when I put him in it, but after just a minute he stopped crying and had fun looking at the scenery through the screens. Also, I used to get nervous going to the vet, but it is calming to get some fresh air and have a nice walk beforehand! Overall, this is a great product and a great bargain. I bought this cayman size 2 for my 5 pound shih tzu puppy thinking that I would have a crate he would grow into if he matured to about 15 pounds. He appears to fill the inside already and this crate said rated up to 30 pounds. Yes, he can stand and turn around in it now with the sheepskin pad but add a stuffed toy and it is too crowded. It looks good and appears to be sturdy but was not that easy to put together only because I had a difficult time getting the door to fit. I had to assemble and disassemble it several times and what should have taken roughly ten minutes became a 40 minute ordeal with the door. I know dogs and cats need only a small footprint in a crate for travelling and sleeping but I was thinking that this would be ideal for crating Logan up to several hours when I am gone from the house because it was rated for a dog up to 33 pounds. I could not leave him cooped up in this kennel except maybe for airline travel for which it would be adequate for his size at the moment. I put my 15 pound shih tzu in it and he was not able to lay down or stand up fully and forget about turning around. He is longer bodied and longer legged than the average shih tzu but he is also half the rated weight and he does not fit it. I would buy the size up from this unless you need it strictly for air travel or vet transport and your dog is no bigger, adult size, than 8 pounds, especially if you plan to add bedding, drink cup and toys to it.Get more detail about Cayman 2 Pet Carrier, Medium Blue.

We bought a set for both of our kennels and they make it so convinient to travel they're great. The only problem we've had is the pin holding them in sometimes comes out and the wheel falls right off. We actually lost a pin and the wheel is useless so that's no good. I can't comment about the product itself but can tell you that the customer service on this product is not good. I mistakenly ordered the product twice and needed to cancel one of them, and tried repeatedly to call the company. NO ONE answered the phone for the returns or existing order department. Honestly, I hung on for almost an hour. When I tried calling sales, I finally reached someone but they quickly transferred me back to no man's land. I called back AGAIN and the person told me that maybe that department was "out to lunch." I called back AGAIN to sales and finally got a nice man to help me cancel one of the orders. This stroller's construction is probably not as strong as the $200 brand but it is good enough for my two cats, who weight 8 and 15 pounds (the instruction says 10 lbs maximum for the upper deck and 20 lbs for the lower). I take my cats to a nearby park using this stroller. My big cat loves the ride. Once she arrives the park, she just goes out and walks around. My little cat gets scared easily. When she sees a stranger in the park, she hides in the stroller. So it is good that the stroller can provide a safe place for her.

There are two cup holders and a small compartment in the middle (with lid) for storing their stuff. I put their leashes in there but usually not their water or food as they are too nervous/excited/busy to think about eating or drinking. They usually gets tired and satisfied after the ride.

It is a bit challenging if the street is bumpy because I have to stop and carefully lift the stroller up in order to pass. Unlike with a good baby stroller, I could just push through an uneven surface.

When I bought the Pet Portage Sport Backpack with the intent to wear it while I ride my bike and be able to take my Dachshund along, I took the chance that it would fit my body, and his, since the weight requirements matched. The ad said it was on sale for 35.99, so I took a chance, since I'd been researching and shopping for a long time now.
When it arrived, I realized that there was nothing specifically pet special about it, and there was no way to secure the shoulder straps in front of my own body, as would be on any real hiking pack, especially if you are carrying any kind of weight in it.
So, it didn't fit me quite right, but I figured I was only out 36 bucks... til I got the credit card statement and discovered I'd been charged 75 dollars.... and of course, no response from either the seller, nor Amazon as I tried to find out what happened during ordering.

After four times out this pack fell apart. The nylon fabric was not sealed on the edges and thus unraveled. The nylon straps were no exception, they to fell apart.
