I take my border collie out camping and hunting and have started using this high-vis vest to keep him safe. The vest is easy to use, a velcro attachement around his collar and another velcro waste band. My dog was curious about his new vest for a while, but that passed once he started moving around. The collars themselves are very nice so I'm going to give them a good rating, but --WARNING--if you are planning to use with the Dogtra e-collar, you might want to think again. I had an extremely difficult -- I would say verging on impossible--time getting the Dogtra unit onto the collar. By the time it was on--pulling with pliers,etc,--the collar was pretty messed up, although still usable. The bigger problem came when I had to return the Dogtra units for repair/replacement.* GETTING THEM OFF THE COLLARS WAS A NIGHTMARE! My husband had to cut and poke and I don't know what else. Suffice it to say, I no longer have the collars because they had to be cut to bits. The collars are just too tight for the Dogtra. Again, nothing against the collar itself--I don't think they are ones promoting use with the Dogtra, although I'm not sure about that.

As I recall the collars--for the brief time I had them, the colors are bright and great and the way they lock on and off makes them a breeze to use. I like the fact that the excess length of the collar goes underneath, as opposed to flapping around on the outside like most collars. That gives them a nice, clean look. They seem to be very well made. Trust me--through all the pulling and cutting we ended up doing as a result of the Dogtra unit fitting too tightly, these collars are TOUGH!

*Also not a critique of Dogtra e-collars; I bought 2 and I think there was some confusion--perhaps on my part. The Dogtra company was very accommodating and easy to work with. Problem solved and I am pleased with the product.Get more detail about PetSafe Cinch-It Collar, Large, Fire Engine Red.

This is a great product. It will take the pressure off your dogs neck, and even when they learn to NOT pull, it is still a fabulous item because it is designed to take the pressure off of your shoulders as well.
I found the customer service at Bungee to be exceptional. I had ordered the leash for up to 165 lbs and my pup at the time only weighed in at 45. But I was thinking it would work as she grew. But I did put a note in their comment box saying I wasn't sure about the right size. They called me and suggested that I buy the one for pups under 60lbs as the up to 165 would not have any give for a dog her size. I did this and have loved it since the moment I put it on her.

I received my BowWowBag on August 13 and was extremely pleased with the product. It was very easy to attach to the leash and the small size was perfect. The small bag holds my cell phone, keys, hand sanitizer and plenty of doggie bags. It is so great not having to worry about grabbing a doggie bag on your way out the door. It is also nice to stop and chat with your neighbors and not be standing there holding a bag of dog poop in your hand!

If you really, really love your dog get the Puppia Soft Dog Harness for them. Recently our little Yorkie was in terrible pain and after taking him to the Vet. we found that he had a herniated disc in his neck, the Vet pointed out that we walk him and our other 2 dogs hooked to a dog collar. I got this because it looks to be a well designed product that I can use to provide an extra measure of safety for my dog Telstar, who is a bit of a nut and a gifted escape artist. I checked out a few of these and this looks to be the best made one out there short of making my own (I am a certified computer geek and hot rod guy, so I could do this if there wasn't one this nice out there...) However, upon receiving the item, I noticed a few points of concern:

1) The documents are all in Word format(.doc). Since I don't want to assume that someone who finds my dog has Word (yes, I know about Wordpad, but this still bugs me), I put a couple of notepad documents (.txt) with my info on them into the tag as well so as to maximize format compatibility options for anyone who might find this.

I also put my information in the tag in Spanish -titled "espanol"; in case my dog is found by a Spanish-speaking person, which is a distinct possibility in my area. If you don't speak Spanish (or need to translate into another language) visit [...], copy and paste your text into the translation box, then copy the translated text into a new document in the tag. Be sure to title this translated document "espanol" (or whatever language name applies) preferably in the native text of the language. I know that this may sound like a lot of effort for this step, but it does no good to translate the text and then give it an English title if the person who finds the tag doesn't understand the title. Anyway, I digress...

2) The split ring attached to the tag is junk. My dog is crazy and strong, and his favorite playmate is our pit-mix ruby, who is also very strong and likes to grab the tag end of Telstar's collar in her mouth. Translation: if I were dumb enough to trust this crap split ring to keep the tag attached to my dog's collar, it'd be lost in the yard in about 2 days. You can get a much better quality split ring at a hardware store for less than a buck that will keep the tag from being lost after the first couple of times it is subjected to the stress of being attached to a dog collar. Which is what I did...

3) Although the cap of the tag is screw-on and is sealed with an o-ring -which is great, the led in the bottom of the tag appears to be unsealed, which potentially negates any waterproofing conveyed by the cap. I'm going to seal this spot with a dab of silicone so that water can't sneak in through the back, as it were...

One last thing: I removed all but the most essential documents from the tag -the more cluttered the file list is, the more confused (and less likely to read them) the person who finds and plugs this tag in is likely to be. I'm keeping it simple by reducing the document count to a bare minimum needed to make effective use of this awesome product. Anyway, if you're willing to tweak it a bit for best performance, this is a great option for keeping your beloved family member safe -remember that unlike a microchip, this tag can be read by anyone with access to a computer with USB port...

This product is a great way to drive safely with your pet onboard! I have 4 dogs and bought this item for all 4. It comes with a harness which we also use for dog walks but clipped to a walker leash. When we travel, I put the same harness on them but clip to the belt attachment and then clip into the safety buckle of the vehicle. Only sad part is back seats of vehicles only offer 3 buckles but I have a work-around for that I'm dwelling on. I was very pleased with this leash. I am not a fan of gromits in leather leashes, reins, or lead lines, but it is inescapable in anything less than the most expensive leather products. However, this leash minimizes their use. There is only 1 gromet at each end, which is then reinforced by good overlap & stitching. The clasp is of good quality & so far the leash has survived one bout of chewing with only minor indents.
