This party was styled by the wonderful women over at the Sparkly Princess. I met Massiel when I was shopping around for a spot to have my daughter, Sabrina's 4th birthday party. We ended up working together and she was truly so great and definitely DD approved. =)

This Ballet Collection was designed especially for this sweet little girl, Victoria which happens to be my best friend, Monica's niece. Victoria reminds me so much of Monica but she is also as graceful as her mommy, my sweet friend, Vanessa. i've had the pleasure of designing and working closely on her birthday parties since her very first birthday party ( more on that later) This was the third year Vanessa has blown me away with her darling details, she is so creative and crafty. Massiel from the Sparkly Princess brought these gorgeous treats (cupcakes and cookies) and fabulous rosette table runner. The thing was dreamy, I almost wanted to wear it. =)

The cookies were so pretty and each girl receive not only a cookie as a take home gift but one of these adorable tutus provided by Massiel as well. Sabrina was so delighted to be taking home her adorable fluffy pink tutu..

Here is another view of the table, since I wasn't styling this time around, I had time to really photograph and play around with the pictures. I was climbing on chairs and kneeling, I basically got a little HRP on it. =) I am glad I can now share my pictures with both Vanessa and Massiel….

These gorgeous tulle tutu poms were created by Anais from the Sparkly Princess, they are dreamy…. 

psstt….. rumor has it we might be carrying these for sale in our shop soon. =) wink*

THE CUPCAKES…. Can they get any prettier please, I literally got weak in my knees when I saw these little ruffly, pink dresses….

Vanessa brought merengues (after all what is a party in Miami with Merenguitos) and she also brought some gorgeous pink swirl lollipops (available in party city for my locals) =)

I made VIctoria a little wand just like the ones I made for Sabrina's party, I promise a tutorial soon very soon…… Vanessa bought some delicious milk chocolate in a jar adorned by my pretty little labels….

Speaking of…….

Aren't the sweet labels so darling with those little roses. I had seen them over in the dollar section at Michaels and I grabbed them knowing I would be able to use them for something with this collection. 

This Ballet party had a nice twist, in that the girls would also be having a small tea party. The table was dressed so beautifully by the Sparkly Princess team that I was almost tempted to sit and play along….. (trust me I got to sneak in a little sitting time)

The girls were served apple juice and lunch  while sitting in the beautiful table under dainty pink ribbons and tulle poms……

The girls got mini makeovers by the Sparkly Princess. They also had a crafting area where they decorated wings.

CLASS IN SESSION

This was the sweetest moment of the entire party…. I was mesmerized watching the little ballerinas as they twirled on their tippy toes and danced with their Prima Ballerina instructor, Lisa from the Enchanted Fairytale Parties

I am enjoying my Gabriella so much, I really think she is going to be a prima ballerina, she sure looks like one huh! (a chunky one). Look at those cheeks!!! =) wink*

I am working on a full post of the Princess Charm School Party – A Barbie inspired collection. But today I want to share with you the amazing work of one the vendors I used, Amber from SweetAmbs. All I can say is WOW! From the very first minute that I reached out to her, till today, Amber has impressed me beyond expression ( I am not easily impressed ). I am very picky with vendors which is why often you will see me use the same ones over and over. When I find you, I hold on for dear life. =)

In this situation I had spent hours looking through Amber's blog and I truly fell in love with her cookies. I sent her an email and Amber was so sweet and quick to jump on the Princess Charm School wagon. I sent her an inspiration board and she designed the amazing cookies you see here (yes, on The amazing Amy Atlas Sweet designs blog, i still can't believe it)

I wanted to share with you all how incredibly wonderful working with Amber was: 

Her package arrived the day before the party like this: A white box with a beautiful tag, each cookie was securely packaged in a clear bag, then wrapped in tissue paper. 

Amazing huh! Best of all Amber is sharing a tutorial on how she made the cookies over on her  blog. Click here to see how simple she makes it look, although I am confident I could never, ever create such a work of art…..

It's so hard to concentrate today as I am so excited and can't sit still……WHY you wonder… I am featured on Amy Atlas today. Amy is one of my idols and a huge mentor for me, she is fabulous at it's greatest level.  I absolutely adore her blog, which is where you can find me today. =)

I am dedicating this post to Mike because of the wonderful, loving man he is to our daughters and to me.  

I am often on the computer and heaven knows I am always up late so coffee is something I have a couple times a day. I start my day with a cup of coffee and many nights, I end my day with a cup of coffee. My husband, Mike knows exactly how I like my coffee. He truly makes the best coffee, espresso style that is! Sometimes he serves it to me in shot but mostly in a mug with some cream and sugar (better than Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts who?)…….

Yesterday while shopping I dropped by one of my favorite stores, Anthroplogie (swoon). Of course I loved everything in site but had no time to shop. One thing that stood out were these adorable mugs and the A and the M just so happen to be next to one another. I stopped and thought, how appropriate, this is definitely meant to be. I quickly paid for our mugs and excitedly started thinking of how I was going to present them to him…….

The Cake was a special gift from Kirsty my very sweet and so talented friend from Sugar and Spice Cakes Miami. I am addicted to her cakes. =)

The cookies were a special treat from Lily over at I heart Sugar Sugar .  Lily also saved me at the last minute when I realized I didn't have any linen for my tables. YIKES!!!!… I went over to her place and it was all there so convenient. =)

Lily recently started blogging daily and is sharing so many fun and wonderful ideas, crafts, just go over to her site and check her out… 

Here are some more adorable details. The day before the party, Sabrina and I went over to Party City to grab a few things.

I found these cups and they were a total steal on sale for 50% off. I thought it was so neat how they matched so nicely. Added some straws and they were perfect! The adorable sweetheart ice cream bowls were used for to serve ice cream after cake cutting. I purchased those at Walmart for $1.00 as well… I am telling you last minute shopping seems to suit me nicely =) The treats are marshmallows that were delicious, I loved the colors and how pretty they looked.

The morning of her birthday I was suppose to get up early and bake but instead we cuddled in bed with the birthday girl, went to have breakfast at her favorite restaurant and opened gifts. On our way home, we stopped at the local grocery store and bought these cupcakes that were truly perfect in color and size. I added lollipops and toppers and they were ready to sit pretty on a cake stand. ****TIP*** I added some edible shimmer with a small brush to the lollipops which made them sparkle, it was really cute and so easy.

We kept it simple but so cute and of course we had tons of fun! I didn't have a chance to snap any pictures of the stamps, tattoos, or card making but the kids had a great time crafting as well as just running around in the yard.

My favorite part of the party has to have been these lips…

Sabrina's all time favorite thing to do is look through my make up bag and pick out the brightest shade of lipstick she an find. She knows this is only for play time dress up at home and daddy and I do not allow her to go out in public all full of make up.

When I saw these lips in the dollar section over at Target, I knew I had to grab them! I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them but they just jumped out at me and heck who can beat a $1.00 deal…..

I was hoping to do a tutorial on how I made them into these adorable props for pictures but I ran out of time. I promise I will at some point share this with you all. Here is Sabrina with her two cousins.

So there you go, our Sweetheart dinner, very simple but very sweet! I plan to sell this entire collection as part of a Holiday/Birthday Collection over at Dollhouse Paperie ( I really love saying that – Dollhouse Paperie). =) but for now you can buy the adorable favor tags and receive two free coordinating files. I couldn't be happier to share that this coming weekend Sabrina and a few four year old friends will be attending Charm School. We have been so fortunate in working with incredible vendors on what is sure to be a spectacular day. I am literally counting down till the weekend but for now I will continue to submerge myself in glitter, ribbon, and props!!!

Charm School – A Barbie inspired Party!

Sabrina can't get enough of her Barbie's and she absolutely LOVES the new theme movie " A Princess Charm School". I am a big fan of Barbie myself but I have styled one too many Barbie parties. I knew I would eventually have a "Barbie" party for Sabrina but I needed the right twist to it. Since their new Charm School movie was released, we literally have watched it over and over and I practically have it memorized (she definitely has memorized the movie). I knew right away that this was the theme and I would have so much fun adding my touch to it. 

This weekend, our celebration will consist of adorable little girls attending Charm School, a place where they will learn etiquette, poise, be pampered like a true princess and of course graduate with a glitzy coronation ceremony while they get a severe sugar high from the many gourmet desserts on my sweet station!

From the mommies, I predict some tears and lots of emotion as they proudly applaud their daughters…..

This was such a thoughtful way to celebrate Sabrina becoming a big sister. With all the attention on mommy's belly, baby shower and baby girl, Sabrina was included on the excitement with a party of her own…..

I feel so blessed that Sabrina and Gabriella have each other. I know first hand what a blessing it is to have sisters. I am so lucky and fortunate to have my sisters and I adore them with all my heart……

Michelle from Intrigue design studio and her husband did such a lovely job with the hand drawn pregnant woman of my baby shower invitations that I was excited to work with her again. I emailed Michelle a picture of Emily and described exactly what I wanted… VOILA, they created this adorable hand drawn little girl for me.
