Alexa's 2nd birthday party was truly a magical and perfect day. Styled by Lilly from I Heart Sugar Sugar, every detail and every section of the party was beautiful and fit for a princess. Jen from Hostess with the Mostess, beautifully featured the event in this part one post found here as well as this post featuring part two found here.

This year's celebration is inspired by The Little Mermaid, Ariel as we celebrate our own LIttle Mermaid, Alexa with a magical Under the Sea Adventure…..

Alexa's mom and family are wonderful and I am so honored to able to once again work with them on this special occasion. 

Lourdes, Alexa's mom is also the owner of Tutti Bambini a Maternty Concierge company providing everything from a local and online boutique filled with stunning, trendy and vintage children's clothing, to tutu's and tiaras, embroidery, a huge showroom filled with baby gear, event coordinating and just so much more. Lourdes is great in that she really trust my taste and allows for creative freedom which is such fun and really makes "work" seem so fabulous.

Tutti Bambini clients can always count on Dollhouse Paperie invitations and collections as we love working with their clients. 

So going back to the design, I knew I wanted to incorporate my original Mermaid Collection created for my niece,  featured here. 

In keeping with the mermaid tail as my main focus, I got to work in designing and tweaking colors, picking the right font, options for shipping and delivery, etc… 

We took care of the design, creation and delivery of the invites. Lourdes, provided a spreadsheet with her guests and we took care of the rest. Offering this service ensures peace of mind to our client, a promise Tutti Bambini makes to all their clients. =) 

With a drum roll I present this year's beautiful invitation for Our Little Mermaid,  Alexa.

I think they turned out lovely and I am so happy with every little detail. 

Here is a closer look at the tail I hand crafted with shimmer and tulle, adding a pearl accent both on the front and on the back shell.  Each invite was placed inside a clear box (available for sale in the shop soon) and wrapped with beautiful gold and ivory twine from The TomKat Studio and a shimmer embellished "You're Invited" tag. 

Each invitation was tucked inside a white tuck box with lavender, lime green or white sparkle tissue, addressed with personalized custom labels. 

Such a sweet touch!

Aside from being able to work on the invitation and paperie for the event. I am truly so excited that I will be working with my dear friend, Lilly from I heart Sugar Sugar in the actual event coordinating, ensuring that everything flows smoothly and all is where it should be. Lilly is expecting baby #2 and is almost at the end of her third trimester, she has worked so hard to style an OVER THE TOP, fabulous party and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us. Rumor has it we will truly feel as we are UNDER THE SEA with performances and activities you won't believe! 

EXCITED? I am!!! My sweet Sabrina is sure to attend with daddy and I can't wait to share some sneak peeks with you all. If you follow me on Instagram (DOLLHOUSE PAPERIE), you are sure to see some pretty amazing details…..

Although pretty, this will be rather short and quick as it is busy around here, as usual!!!!

Firstly, I hope your Holidays were all lovely and everyone has had a great start to 2013. =)

Things has been quiet for many reasons, more than I can even share on this post right now so we will just focus on this special LOVE week =)

Valentine's is just a couple of days away. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Holiday, for the colors, the meaning and all the "cuteness" around us. YAY!

This morning I dropped off Sabrina at school with the most darling Valentine Gift Favors. Yes, they are candy related but hey candy is a treat in our home and allowed every once in a while. shhhh… don't tell our dentist. 

Here is all you need to create these Tiffany & Co. inspired favors. 

One box of Ring Pops (be my valentine limited edition) from our local Walmart store. 

Chocolate covered sixlets to hold the ring in place from Sweeties candy store, Tiffany blue ribbon from Michaels,  clear boxes and Tiffany inspired tags from my shop.  Heart shaped 1.5 inch craft punch from Jo Ann Fabrics, I used this one. and any 2 inch craft punch, I used this one from Jo Ann fabrics. 

May I add this would be so cute for a year round bridal shower so stock up now when you can purchase all pink ring pops from the Valentine edition. 

I know most of you already have your favors and cards ready to go. I do promise next year you will have plenty of time to get these ready as they are now officially up in the shop.

Being a mom of two girls I love to find unique fashionable items for my girls. You can imagine my excitement when I came across Sparkles by Madelynn.

Yarah, owner and designer of Sparkles by Madelynn quickly began selling the pieces about six months ago after seeing how many compliments she received when sweet Madelynn, her gorgeous daughter would wear them. She has several lines of necklace styles all handmade by herself. Some of her lines include The Chunky Beaded Line (Sabrina has one of these and she loves to wear it), The Gumball ribbon (approximately five gumball beads on ribbon with a clip embellishment that can be removed and worn in the hair and her latest addition, The Bib ribbon necklace.  Each style is a beautiful sparkly handmade creation. What a great week we have ahead. Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to sit and go over your kids or your own personal wish list for Santa =) North Pole is busy all year through preparing for the Holidays.  I am sure they would appreciate enough notice to get your goodies prepared and packed up for delivery on Christmas (that's if you've been good?!)

I designed this adorable Santa letter and when I showed my daughter, Sabrina she asked me "can we also mail him cookies", (she sure knows how to butter up the JOLLY BIG GUY). So I decided to add some paper cookies that you can punch out and include in your envelope to The North Pole or tie around your letter with string. Either way you choose to display, it's sure to be a hit!

Thanksgiving is just one week away, I can almost taste all the delicious dishes that will be served. Thanksgiving means so much more to me than just great food, it’s gathering with my most loved family and friends and counting my blessings.

This year I am Thankful for health, I am humbled and honored by those around me, I am grateful for family and lastly I welcome laughter, every single day of my life. I am blessed with the gift of motherhood, of being the wife to a wonderful man and of being able to appreciate the health, love and laughter that surrounds me daily.  I am thankful because everyday I wake up, squeeze my daughters, kiss my husband and have a chance to live my life and share it with with some incredible people.

I am Happy because I am Thankful!

I jumped at the chance to work with Tanya, she has always been a favorite of mine.
