After the horrible experience I've had with Ciao, joining paid to review sites have become the least of my priorities. But there certainly are websites that really delivers. Am I sounding like an ad? Surely not, it's no advertisement post that I'm making but just a simple assessment of my recent participation with IM Report Card. I have been very pleased with how the system works. The very sign up process where you have to write something about yourself and about your experience with internet marketing is a first off the bucket.

The comment rating system, the comment bonus, and the website grading is way better than its predecessors. And not to mention, the pay is also good, considering the fact that many paid to websites are crying out recession. I haven't reached the minimum payout yet, which is 2000 credits that can be encashed to $20 via Paypal. But I'm nearing that mark at 1798.

Sometimes the little things that needs to be done are just so time consuming that it ends up totally undone. Converting Outbound Traffic

The law of reciprocation is much the same as with blog traffics. If someone visits your site, he is most surely will be leaving it (of course). Sometimes quicker than you expect, sometimes would last long because you simply are an awesome writer that you got him glued to your writings and the information you provide is superb and stimulating. And sometimes they leave because they found something in your blog that would bring them to where they really wanted to go, your connections.

Building a good connection with other bloggers both has its own ups and downs. It is good if the reciprocal link you have on the other end brings traffic to your site as well, but it is also negative if you seem to act like a bridge instead of the destination itself, or worse, if you become totally out of the route. Affiliate links, Google ads or Bidvertiser ads, referral links are different though. You intentionally put them in place because you want your readers to see them (probably even begging to click on them). That is the reason you create posts and show off those links that will draw them to the affiliate site. And that is something beneficial to you.

I guess you have now seen the clear difference between the two. So how do we convert those outbound traffic from your links into money?

Linkbucks offers a way of monetizing every link that you have by incorporating either a pop-up ad, an intermission or a top banner ad.

The Demise of EziHippo?

When Ezihippo first appeared on the radar of online opportunities, I was one of the first to jump into the bandwagon. I like being a part of a pioneer group because in most cases and experience wise, the earlier you join, the sooner you harvest your earnings, the smaller you invest and the quicker you leave the better your chance of escaping the fangs of scam. Although it is not always the same as what has been proven by many programs like Neobux and MyLot which still continue to pay its members, some have not had the same sturdy preparation once the global financial crisis hit the shores of the web. And I'm actually starting to believe that EziHippo is one of those programs swept by the meltdown.

For many weeks, if not months, i've been trying to log on to my account and see my progress, but it has been a frustrating attempt each time. I've read a few blog entries in MyPage5 as well MyLot and it seems that my suspicion is shared by many members of the EziHippo community. It's really saddening if this is true, because eziHippo has a very good potential of making it big. It has very innovative ideas that can match what Facebook and other social networking sites has to offer.

I just hope that this one is just another product of trolls but it's a little doubtful to think that way either. Anyway, whatever it may be in the end, I enjoyed being a part of the eziHippo community, and i'll be looking forward to some resurrection, I'm just hoping that it won't be until the next 2000 years.

MyLot Rumours

After some rumor mongers caused a little panic and dismay to some of the members of MyLot regarding payment delays, the issue that was started by some troll is now put to rest. As soon as I checked on my Outlook when I arrived from work, $22 have been credited to my Paypal account which sums up my June earning in the community.

And of course, lessons were learned from that short grip of the troll that brought doubts and anger to MyLot. Again and again, patience is a virtue. Although I have noticed that MyLot pays in advance at times, the official statement in the TOS indicates that payments will be made on or before the 15th. And with that, MyLot still lives to its standard of paying on time.

Second thing, don't easily believe people who just started out and acting like he's been there for a long time already. These kinds of people are just looking for some attention which they may have been yearning for. There were actually members who've been there for years and they never budged nor raised an eyebrow. It's better to listen to these people who have known that MyLot have always paid its obligations to its members.

Third, it's not official until it's the person or the party involved is the one who gives out the statement. All those "I heard, they said, I thought" statements are but signs of immaturity and gossiping spirit. So wherever you may be, whether it's an online or off line gig you are working on and waiting for payment, the final say that you should believe is the statement of the person or party involved.

For the past months, my posts have always been about PTC's, PTP's, and all the range of PT's I can find. But of course, dollars don't just come from those streams. And I guess you can all agree with me, blogging is one of the most popular money making stream in the internet today.
(And I guess that is what I'm doing right now.)

I don't really consider myself as an adept blogger or problogger, that is such a shame for me to claim. I may be in that phase where I am learning the tricks of the trade, but I'm still way beyond the real caliber of a certified blogger. I am a novice but I'm learning and gleaning from every blog hop that I make.

I bet you've heard of John Chow, Steve Pavlina, and (the latest one that I'm following) David Risley, and yes you are correct, these people are pro-bloggers. And not just that, these people are blogging and earning six figures or probably even more. They found a place in the blogosphere where you can say that they have become the stars and suns in the blogging community. So what's my point? Shall we all then be a blogger and be John Chow's and Steve Pavlinas, or David Risleys? Not really.

In essence that may be a possibility that we can all set up our own blogs. But as what Steve Pavlina mentioned in his post "How to Make Money From Your Blog" "...99% of people who try to generate serious income from their blogs will fail" So what's the catch?

As I have repeatedly mentioned in my posts, patience is one crucial factor in determining if a person is fit for a blogging career. The sad part is, most of us are impatient and driven by things that are instant. You can create an instant blog thru Blogger.com but earning from that blog is another story. We want instant coffee, we adore fast-foods, we want quick breaks but blogging won't cater to that kind of preference.

In contrast, blogging is something like a seed being thrown to the ground by a farmer, watered, and nurtured. And after months, eventually gives the sower some fruits to harvest. If you have not noticed, I intentionally phrased it as "eventually gives the sower some fruits to harvest." I did not say that the farmer will reap a whole bunch because in real life that doesn't always happen. You may at times reap a few. But the good thing is, you will always have something if you sow, no matter how small that may be.

It's not rocket science. But it is the simple, universal law of sowing and reaping that is applicable even to blogs. Because every blogger has their own style, has their own capabilities and ways to accomplish things and it surely will give different results as well. This is where you can tell the wise from the fool, the smart from the challenged, the problogger or the novice.

For now, I guess it will be a good start if we look at these successful people and mirror ourselves on what they have achieved. I don't think that in this age of technology and open field of knowledge they can hide the secrets to what put them in their place. I don't know how you plan to start and make blogging as a serious career but for me, I'll be burning my brows over David Risley's "Six Figure Blogger Blueprint". And maybe, in a few years time you will read an e-book of my success story.

Going for Upgrade

I have been contemplating for quite some time now if upgrading with Neobux or Palmbux or any other PTC sites is a good investment. There have been very limited response to my previous posting about profit sharing and I guess it's something that most people are a little hesitant to do because there have been too many sites that turned out to be scams. But these two previously mentioned sites (Neobux and Palmbux) and the other on my list "seem" reliable as of this writing.

I know there are thousands who have had great earning experiences with PTCs but the victims of scams outnumber the success stories. Not to mention that negative experiences are far more magnified than good experiences. And if you have been one of these victims, I' pretty certain that you are one of those doubting Thomases and could have probably abandoned the idea of joining other PTC sites.

If we come to think of it, everything around us has its own level of risk, and we are all the time exposed to it. But when we talk about money, or investment risk, the resistance doubles considerably because of course, we don't want to lose the precious fruit of our labors.

So, should I upgrade or maintain a standard membership?

Your answer will definitely help a lot.

After establishing a little in the PTP area like MyLot and MyPage5, I found another earning opportunity that would be difficult to missed. The official payout period for the previous month of May were finally completed. Two major programs that I have joined, Adgitize and MyLot has confirmed payment and surprisingly has skyrocketed its revenues as compared to previous month's performance. But all of those were just my thoughts and I'm happy to say that both were wrong, totally wrong and judgemental, which I am sorry to say on how I felt about it. After many months of clicking and browsing, I just received my first payment from Donkeymails. I know some of you may be a member of this site and probably have abandoned the few cents that you have accumulated. But it may be a good time to revisit and take a second look. I did not really that much but something that when accumulated would really mean big in its little way.

After two months of being a member of MyLo t I have noticed one great earning opportunity that was probably out of my perspective when I just looked at it on what people say about it. As you all know, MyLot is an online community that is mainly a discussion room where you can spit those ideas, share those opinions, and to some create a network for their business and online earning activities like advertising their referral links, inviting others to view their blogs and a whole lot more. And from the posts you make, you get a cent or two maybe and sometimes zero if the discussion where you posted gets flagged or removed.

But let's say that your convincing power is not that enticing to the ears of your prospects. Your proposal was rejected and you are left with no one to act as your referral. What will you do?
First and foremost sorry to hear that. It sure is demoralizing at times if you are rejected. But that is not the end of the tunnel. If you really want to earn, capitalize. You can actually set aside $10 or $20 whichever you think can start you up. Or better yet, rollover your earnings from your PTC to get some referrals. In that way you speed up your earning plus you avoid spending something. The good thing about rented referrals is the fact that you have full control over them. If you see that they are not performing well, you can axe them out of your list and get them replaced. One strategy that I have implemented with my Neobux account is to rent in bulk say 20 referrals at a time. In this way you can get a better chance of having someone on your list who are upgraded for higher earning potentials.

The Power of Consistency

Starting up with whatever job or work demands consistency. I guess you will all agree with me on this. You have to be consistent on your attendance, consistent on your performance, consistent with everything. And online money making demands the same thing. Whether you are with blogging, PTCs, PTPs consistency is required to sustain consistent results.

It's not really difficult to achieve consistency with PTCs. But a simple miss for a day or a single click actually affects the earnings. Say for example with Neobux. As one of the policies, you actually need to consistently click on all the ads in order for you get full credit. As stated in the Terms of Service under the Referrals Section:

"3.7. The clicks you earn from referrals are directly related to the clicks you make. If you click at least 4 advertisements being a Standard / Pioneer member or you click at least 9 advertisements being a Golden member, you'll receive all clicks made from your referrals. If you click below that, the maximum you will receive is only the amount of clicks you've made multiplied by the number of referrals you have. The referral clicks will be calculated based on the clicks you made on the previous day.These calculations are based on the server time which can be seen in the "View Advertisements" page."

The more difficult money making scheme that is more taxing when it comes to consistency is blogging. It gets a little tough being consistent with posting new articles and keeping it updated. The constant flow of thoughts and ideas, the relevance of topics can all add up to the delay. Not to mention that we also have our personal lives outside of blogging that can affect our writing.

Bottomline is, we can either choose to be consistent with our PTCs and regular with our postings but never a procrastinator if we really want to earn online.

The Scam and The Legit

I have both good news and bad news to break. The bad news is, my Infinitebux account was suspended. The sad part is, there was no reason, no email notification, no whatsoever form of communication to say why my account was blocked or suspended. I don't know if I would consider it a scam but I'm close to believing that. I'm glad though that it happened earlier while I'm still fairly new to the program, about 2 weeks. I haven't earned that much that will cause me to grieve for not receiving payment.

I just noticed that it has been a prevalent occurrence of online programs closing or suspending their member's account without any notification or warning. I must say that there a lot of people who are doing their best to make money the decent way, but if this kind of situation kicks in, it surely will cause more heartache than the lost of a few cents. I just hope that program administrators or PTC owners will have at least the decency and transparency to inform their members and present the reason for suspension or blocking.

On the good side, here is a glimpse of hope that there are still reliable PTC's that's keeping the balance between scam sites and the legitimate. I just received another instant payment from my Neobux account through Paypal. I have not been able to fully track my progress but as of the moment Neobux is still the best PTC I can personally recommend. As I'm still a standard member, I'm looking forward to upgrading my account within the year through my online earnings also.

Alright, now that you have joined all those PTC's and realized that money doesn't come easy if you are an impatient guy wanting to earn the fast and the furious way, let's see if this one would suit you. How about trying Paid to Review sites?
It's no rocket science, really. And I assure you many have gained hundreds if not thousands from this kind of online money making scheme. Well, of course there are also others who still carry some heartaches for not getting paid. But with constant monitoring and cautious choice of sites we can reduce the chances of being a victim.

First and foremost, you must choose which sites you will join. Some things to consider:

Gather as much information regarding previous and current member testimonies and experiences.
Payment scheme, do they pay by check (which means longer wait), Alertpay, Paypal, etc...
How much is the minimum cashout? Try to gauge your patience relative to the minimum payout.
If you are not from the U.S., check whether your location is eligible for membership. (You might end up being Ciaod) You'll know why later...
Examine if they have any revenue sharing programs, referral incentives, etc... These can actually make earning a lot faster and easier especially if you have a lot of contacts or referral prospects.

There are numerous Paid-to-Review sites that you can choose from, and here is a few of my select list:

Blog Traffic for a Newbie

So now you have a blog. A clean slate to start with, well thought posts, an attractive theme, but how does money come in? Ok... I guess this is a typical situation that many novice and wannabe bloggers face with a blank stare. And if you are one of the new ones in the area of blogging you will know that you are not even one half of what lies ahead before your site turns to a treasure pot.

Honestly, this has been one of my frustrations when I started with my blog. I actually placed a hit counter and to my surprise, the counter seems to have been stuck in 10, a few moments after, I went back in and saw it ticked 11. I never realized that it was all me who was visiting my own site.

Of course you wouldn't want to be ticking on your own ads, signing up on your own referral links else you find yourself in deeper mire of being banned by your affiliate sites. So what's the trick with traffic?

I have a few suggestions which won't make a miracle but will bring you to some realizable traffic, and if done religiously, and diligently can bring great results.

1. Social Networks
Socializing in facebook, friendster, twitter, myspace is a very good venue to make your blogs known. Putting your link in your profile can give you surprising results especially if you are actively participating. And again... sensible participation that is.

2. Adgitize

This is the first site where I invested $14 and received $10 in return plus thousands of traffic from a majority of likeminded people, bloggers. I actually prefer this platform considering that you are not only rewarded from the advertising you made but you also get the needed traffic which can eventually turn into more profits.

3. Entrecard

Commonly known as EC. Some consider this site as a source of empty traffic and would increase your bounce rate but I think it is still a good option to add this considering that they are revamping their methodologies and putting in some monetary reward to their members who visit other blogsites.

4. Forums
I got entangled with online money making when I joined PinoyMoneyTalk. And after hours of pouring myself in the forum, reading different posts, ideas and tips, it helped me decide to venture on my own search for other income streams. And after that, there's no looking back. That is just one of the many sites where you can find great informational materials. There are various forums where you can join and enhance your knowledge as well as your expertise on the subjects you are dealing with. So explore other forums and focus forums where you can exchange ideas to talk about in your blog.

5. Friends and Family
I'm pretty sure your family can be the best supporter to your endeavor. So don't forget to include them in your list of possible source of traffic. Just make sure that your family member or friend won't be embarrassed to introduce your work to their cliques. They can actually be a good promoter/advertiser especially if they see that your work is worth being told to their friends and inner circle.

I was at work today doing the usual stuff, taking calls and drooling over my pc from 9pm til 6am. I never realized that April 23 already ticked the clock to say that I'm officially 30.

Yes, today is my 30th birthday. And I'm happy that I was blessed to have reached this age. I sure do have a lot of things to be thankful of, a loving wife, adorable kids, a good job and a litany of other things which may be too much for a single post or too long for you read so i'll keep short.

I started with online social networking back in my college years using a simple Friendster account . And until now, the network I have created still exist. I have collected over a few hundred friends. Some are long lost folks in my high school years and some friends I have not seen in person for decades, while the others are from my adventures online.

Today, social networks continue to sprout like mushrooms blooming in their peak season. We have seen the rise of Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and a few others.

Okay, so what does this have to do with online money making?

Well you don't need to have a marketing or business degree to know how important it is. Creating a huge network of contacts does not only provide a stream of people to socialize with. These contacts, if properly tapped can be translated into business prospects that can greatly increase your potential earnings. Consider everyone in your list as a possible consumer of your product or a referral prospect of your program.

I have personally experienced how this have made wonders in my online money making. As you know, very recently, Destroy Debt have been giving out cash for bringing in referrals to their site. It's a revenue sharing program that benefits the referrer. And what happened after I have brought in just six of my contacts? They literally worked my way to receiving the final payout which could have been impossible without them.

Another beneficial effect of social networking is the fact that it gives you a more diverse access for more ideas that is otherwise difficult if you are just going to think on your own. A simple interaction can bring in information that may not even cross your mind.

Building Reputation

Social networks are there to stay. And in the long run, everyone can't escape the need to socialize and connect. Build your network and at the same time build your reputation as a reliable source or worthy information. Make sure that you don't just participate for the sake of it, but participate so that others may also benefit from you.
