Here's a finished shirt for Dear Friend. I had a second one cut to make for myself but I had to toss it because it ended up with an irreparable hole in the shoulder seam. :( I'll have to cut a new one, but in a darker brown, because I cant find the fabric I used for this one.

BUT. The sweater and skirt set I made for Iselle? I made two sets in JID girl size. One set for my Suki, and one for Dear Friend's JID girls to fight over. I'm now working through the pile of SID man shirts that I've had cut out since forever. I cut the original skirt off the bottom of the dress and just hemmed it to make it a sweater (that cannot really be seen here). I then made another skirt that I am much happier with.

I may or may not be getting my sewing mojo back.

New year... time to set goals, yes? Because that's what people do. I've got some personal goals in addition to doll-related goals, but I won't bore you with the personal stuff.

In 2014, I would like to...

Sew more. That's my goal every year, but it rarely happens. It seems that most of my female dolls wear Sassy Pants of some kind.

I have failed to impress this one with my Mad Skills of Overestimation when adjusting a pattern I'm drafting to be smaller.

She does not enjoy the illusion of a pot belly + muffin top. xD

MEH.

Guess who's sick again? I broke down and adopted a Littlefee. Having Dear Friend's LTF Rolly staying with me for sewing purposes has convinced me that I needed one of my own.

I got her secondhand, but she's basically brand new, her previous owner had only had her for two weeks.
