Hi!

Long time no see. It's been awhile since i have been active on this blog (not since 2017) but it's now time to reawake this blog.

As many of you know the NFT or non-fungible token art has been on the spotlights for few months now. Big names like Elon Musk and Mark Cuban have rised all the NFT fuzz too the roof, and many big names have been making announcements about their new NFT funds.

NFTs are so hot now, we all are amazed about the prices been paid for those art works. Some simple pixelated avatras (now called pixel art) like CryptoPunks, ones you could by for few dollars couple of years ago, are being sold for tens of thousands of dollars.

Bit of a downside for all this NFT marketplace mania is that the gas prices are often so high, that your purchase costs less than the gas fee. All NTF art or items are stored on ETH blockchain and to transfer anthing, you simply must pay a gas fee for the blockchain to make your transfer actions (buy, sell, list etc.) to happen. Many NFT marketplaces are looking for alternative blockchains to operate with, simply to reduce those fees.

Google has quietly announced its own domain name registration service GOOGLE DOMAINS.
This service is on beta stage and can be activated by invitation, you can send the request to get the invitation code from Google through this page.

Normally Google redirects its customers who needs domain names to partners like Godaddy, now these partners will get new strong competitor to domain name registration business.

Google domains service includes free domain name privacy, domain forwarding, 100 sub-domains, 100 email aliases and phone support.

My last weekend experience with Flippa auctions

First i have to say that i instantly fall in love with Flippa.com auctions platform, both web based and ios app ( yes i'm a proud iPhone 5 user ). Of course i have been visiting Flippa.com in the past but last weekend i really put my mind into it, registered in, downloaded the Apple ios application and listed few domains and participated to MuscleCars.info auction listed by Morgan Linton :) Actually this listing that Morgan also posted on his blog, triggered me to dig deeper into Flippa auctions, found out also that there was and is a good amount of great dot info domain names on sale. Those two domain names i listed was Measures.info and Mobileservice.info, they are now on auction for 11 days.

The website platform is really simple in a good way, it's clear, easy to use and still full of information. There's also a website valuation tool for you to see what is your website worth.

As i was playing with Flippa ios application i got these notifications about domain names sold on Flippa, i tagged all the interesting dot info auctions before and now saw those notifications pouring on my iPhone screen. There's one little bug on ios notifications, it says domain x sold for $x.xx even if there was no bids or reserve price was not met, it is quite misleading and you have to check the auction listing to be sure, but anyway i will start to post about these final sales soon and will keep you posted more about my experiences with Flippa.com.
