Greenpeace regards Nintendo as an eco unfriendly company of all its annually surveyed electronics companies. The company scored 1.4 out of 10 for its chemical, e-waste and energy policies. Sony with a score of 5.1 is the most green company.

Will All Consoles Disappear ?

According to Square Enix President Yoichi Wada, All consoles will disappear in the future. This is something that Microsoft and Sony have planned all along.

"Let's say in ten years time what we traditionally call 'console games' simply won't exist. The exact timing at which it will go away is hard to determine, but somewhere around 2005 the console manufacturers' strategy shifted," said Wada.

"So that Instead of relying on the hardware layer the network becomes the operating system. That move away from clients to the network is something Microsoft has done - moving from clients to the server is something Sony has done. If we take a look at the PS3 we can see that it is like a home server in a sense - the Cell chip is well matched to the parallel processing we use on server-based games." He added.

Tron Legacy to be the most anticipated film

Tron Legacy is the sequel of the 1982 Classic Tron. The first preview footage was shown at the 2008 Comic-Con and created a huge buzz on the internet. Even a "search for Flynn" scavenger hunt was launched to let people find coordinates to a secret location : Flynn's Arcade from the first Tron film which had classics such as Pac-Man, Joust. Space Paranoids was even playable (fictional game created by Flynn).

During the UBS Global Media Conference, EA CEO Riccitiello revealed the name of the PS3 Wand.
