The investigation leads to a local church to find a young girl, Joy, who witnessed Ronan's murder, and possesses the ability to see ghosts.

In search of her missing mother Cassandra, who was consulting with the police on the Bell Killer case, Joy refuses to help Ronan. He travels to the police station, freeing Joy after she is arrested for petty crimes. While leading Joy out of the station, Ronan discovers that Baxter, a hostile fellow officer, was the person working with Cassandra. So Beenox has the power to put the action and adventure of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in your hands in a new video game. They decide to not directly approach the movie but start where the last adventure left out and also recap on Peter’s issues dealing with Uncle Ben’s death. They throw in a few other villians such as Kingpin and Kraven that aren’t in the move to make the game more star studded.

The problem with this game isn’t the roster. It’s the gameplay itself. Spidey doesn’t seem to swing as smoothly as he should. In fact, sometimes even Spider-Man says it himself in game. I believe it was something along the lines of ” I guess swinging in New York City is even hard sometimes on a spider”. That isn’t the direct quotation but you get my point. The animation for the PS4 which I played seemed a little glitchy and not smooth. The other problem within the game least on the PS4 is that the graphics aren’t nothing to brag about. I’m still wanted to check out the past gen versions just to see how far if there is any leap or difference much between the two.

Taking loose inspiration from previous Ninja Gaiden titles and a pinch of Inafune’s Dead Rising, Yaiba asks but one thing of you: kill wave after wave of on-screen enemies, quick sharp. You arrive, mutter something offensive over the radio to your absurdly proportioned female sidekick, then press Triangle, Circle and Square until all the zombies, clowns, robot dogs and electrified undead brides are no more. Sadly, this doesn’t even begin to convey the abject, tongue-biting wretchedness of actually playing the thing.

Effectively you’re in a game-long boss battle with the camera. As enemies pour into your periphery, it zooms out to leave you genuinely guessing your location while framerates plunge into single figures. Mid-boss-fight, it zooms in and forms invisible walls which leave you trapped beneath an imminent attack. While enduring its QTE-driven platforming sequences, it obstructs your vision of the next prompt, leaving you to die.

Scourge: Outbreak is a cover-based, Third-Person Shooter set in the year 2036, where the world’s energy is controlled by the Nogari Corporation. You’ll play as one of four members of Echo Squad, a group of mercenaries working for the Tarn Initiative, whose sole purpose is to bring down the mega corporation. The Tarn Initiative believes Nogari are behind the outbreak of Alien creatures that have been killing humans for the past several years. Your job is to get in, gather the evidence and take down the evil corporation, once and for all. Unfortunately, the dialogue is cheesy, the characters aren’t very interesting and the story ends up doing very little to enhance the experience. If you go into it with low expectations, you won’t mind the weak story as much, but if you were hoping for a deep, well-written story, you should find another game.

I’m not going to go over all of the core gameplay mechanics, because if you’ve played Gears of Wars, Mass Effect or any other cover-based, Third-Person Shooter, you know what to expect with Scourge: Outbreak. Most of the systems work fine, such as taking cover, throwing grenades, aiming down the sights, using melee attacks and of course firing your weapon, but you shouldn’t expect the same kind of polish that you’d find with the games I mentioned earlier. Scourge: Outbreak is definitely worth its $10 price tag when it comes to production values. The graphics aren’t great, the characters are a little stiff to move and the enemy AI could use another year or two in QA testing. Your squadmates work fine most of the time and will get their fair share of kills and revive you when you go down, but the enemy AI is a whole other story.
