I'm an amateur Blues and Classic Rock bass player and the guy we're going to back is a Bluegrass, Folk and Country kinda guy. Well, we pulled it off, learning ~20 new songs well enough to pass (along with a few standards I actually did

Every Thursday night at 3rd Street Bar in downtown Reno, they host an open Blues jam. I've invited a Jim and Deborah to join me tomorrow night. Hopefully they'll be able to record some of my set for a first music posting here and on My Space and/or Facebook. I'm hoping that the kid that drummed for us is there again. He was new and did a good job, so I'd like to encourage him to come and play

OMG!!! It's finally out! Joshua Peer's book of poetry has finally been published by Publish America. I immediately bought four copies: 1 for each of the girls; one for Josh (since the publisher doesn't give the author a free copy); and one for me, of course! If you've never had the pleasure of reading truly original works, with real depth and feeling, then you owe it to yourself to read this
