We love our new wooden-style function chairs. They're a match made in heaven for our Barn Wedding venue.

All of our functions now benefit from free use of our Farmhouse chairs. And the great news is, when they look this good on their own, you can avoid the cost and hassle of chair covers (you'd be mad to hide these beauties). Accessorise with a hessian bow (see below) or organza sash or don't decorate them at all and enjoy their simple natural elegance.

A simple, rustic yet elegant design, the perfect fit for our events Barn.

Moto GP cancellation :(

We have heard the sad announcement that Donington Park are not able to go ahead with the current arrangements to hold the Moto GP in August.
If you have booked camping with us for that weekend and now wish to cancel it, please email info@parkfarmhouse.co.uk from the same email address that you used to make the booking and include your booking reference number. If possible, just reply to your booking confirmation. This can be done anytime until 7 days ahead of arrival, so if you want to wait and see whether any alternative arrangements are made that may be of interest to you, that would be fine. Additionally, if you would like to visit an alternative event, such as World Superbikes in May, or British Superbikes in April, again simply email and we'll be happy to transfer the booking dates for you.

If you do choose to cancel, this will be subject to an administration fee of £10, as outlined in our booking terms and conditions. Please understand that this exists to help cover costs that we have already incurred in taking your booking.

Please bear with us over the next few days as we have had an overwhelming response to this news, and whilst we will process requests as soon as we can it may take a couple of weeks.

We still have a few tickets available for the event this Friday if anybody is free! The Taste of Venison Evening is a great way to experience the barn. If you're interested in trying out your barn dancing skills, we have Roger the Badger live on stage! Today we have just one more bedroom available for staying overnight on Friday 23rd.

The Threshing Barn is usually used for private events such as weddings, parties and corporate events, so this is a rare opportunity to join in with a party. At the same time you will get to try the venison from our own herd of deer.

For anybody travelling we are close to East Midlands Airport, East Midlands Parkway and junction 24 of the M1.

We are close to Donington Park Race Circuit, M1 and East Midlands airport so great for transport links. Bedrooms available with breakfast served in the beautiful farmhouse.

A Taste Of Venison Event

'The Taste of Venison Evening' is a popular local event and will take place on Friday 23rd January 2015. The evening is a fantastic way to experience the 300 year old barn in all its glory, while sampling fantastic venison and learning some interesting facts about the very special Donington Deer Park.

Tickets are now on sale and open to the public, so book early to avoid disappointment!

Wedding Fayre & Open Day - Sun 30th November!

Join us on Sunday 30th November from midday until 4pm.

It's free to attend. We'll be giving out punch upon arrival and there will be mini menu tasters in the Granary kitchen.

The whole Barn venue will be open for viewing, plus a couple of bedrooms and we'll be on hand to answer any questions about the venue and catering. We'll also be offering significant discounts on short notice dates.

The Barn will be crammed full of our favourite local suppliers. Confirmed so far…

The 2015 Moto GP date has been announced as 28, 29 & 30 August 2015. Unfortunately there aren't any hotel rooms available, but our campsite booking system is up and running on the camping page of our website. Looking forward to a fantastic year at Donington!

Delighted to hear that it's returning to Donington Park next year. As soon as the date is announced we will endeavour to have our online booking up and running. We will be offering cooked breakfasts, meals and bars including real ales.

Keep checking the website for updates, but please refrain from calling our busy receptionist as we are unable to take bookings over the phone and do not have any further information.

Every hotel should have its own dog, and we are very lucky at Donington Park Farmhouse to have Dora working with us. She can often be found greeting guests who are coming to stay at the hotel for weddings, conferences and to visit the race track, from the reception desk and puts a smile on everybody's face!
