More In High School Planner

It seems that all I have been doing is adding more planners. That's because I'm currently working in the forms section of DY. I'll shift to another section of the web site eventually. I'll be honest, all that might be "new" is the 7-row row planner. I really can't remember what was there before. But there were 15 different form styles before and now there are 19. Anyway, the page now include rtf format.

XLS 10-Subject Grader

The XLS 10-Subject Grader has been around for a while, but not online. It is just another one of my spreadsheet graders. The PDF version of XLS 10 has been online at the Grade Forms web page at DY.

Just like it's PDF clone, the XLS 10 has space for 10 subjects. Unlike the PDF clone, the grader calculates grade averages for you at 3-week or 1/12 school year intervals. How the grader works and how to use it is explained at the page linked below.

XLS 10-Subject Grader

The grader is in xls format and requires a spreadsheet program. It's been tested in MS Excel and Open Office Calc.

Alexia Planner Formats

During work today, I revisited the Alexia Planner. As a result, I added a few more pdf files and doc, rtf, and odt file formats. Doc and rtf should be familiar to most, but what is the odt format? Odt is an Open Office format. Open Office is an open source word processing software suite (and it is free to download and use).[OpenOffice.org] This is good for those who do not have a word processor and the extra money to purchase one.
Color Names

The worksheets on the web page, Color Names, are all about color words or names. The page is located in the art section at donnyoung.org. I am posting this update so that the content will be easier to find.

Color Names

The Color Names web page contains a few printable worksheets for young children who are learning to recognize color names. Below are file groups and descriptions.

Trace Color Names, Trace & Color Shapes

Each file prints in color. Each file has one shape in a color. That color and shape is written around the shape. Student traces, colors, and writes.

Young Child's First Color Wheel

Simplistic color wheel, it's not even called a color wheel. The terms used are primary colors, secondary colors, cool and warm colors. Student colors the circles as implied on the worksheet. Three files below.

Coloring and Writing a Color Name

The Crayon worksheet
There are two crayons on each printout. Cut the paper in half after printing or when you decide to use one.

Circle the Right Word

A test-like printable where the child circles the name of the correct color.

Some of you might already be familiar with the "By Columns" lesson planners in the Homeschool Planner part of donnayoung.org. Previously, there were only 12 column planners online.

Today I added the entire set to DY. The whole set, 38 planners in both pdf and doc formats. I also added the columned ruled paper. All of the files start under the By Columns web pages at the link below.

By Columns

How could I overlook such an important detail like five columns?

Just now I dug up the original files for the colonial planner and made 5-column planners for the weekly planner, quarterly planner, and semester planner. Previously these were only available with 6-columns.
