They are super absorbent so they dry everything quickly including hair and bathing suit. There are far superior to the standard towel in that respect.
Not only do they dry you quickly but because they are so thin they dry quickly. Most towels after a long day at the beach or on the boat get what we call perma-damp where it is impossible to get them complete dry with hanging them for hours or running them through the washer and dryer.
Unlike traditional towels they are lightweight and very compact so you can put a bunch of them in a small space without having to pack an extra bag just for towels. And because they dry quickly you not lugging home a bunch of damp towels.
Sand resistant! Yes when dry it feels like they actually repel the sand. If you are an avid beach goes this towel is a must.
Our towels are oversized so they measure about 35 by 70 inches. This does not seem like a huge size difference over the normal 30 by 60 inch towels but it makes a world of difference if you are laying on them at the beach (and sand-resistant).
Both versions of our towel the Don't Monday my Sunday and the Endless Weekend have a loop on one corner that can be use to hang the towel up or to wrap around it if you roll the towel up to put in your beach bag.
After using them for while now we love these towels. Once you get used to the feel of them and it is different than using a traditional towels you will never go back to traditional towels.

Easy to make and refreshing wine cocktail using elderflower liqueur is perfect for easter or a Sunday afternoon This light white wine sangrias cocktail gets a subtle sweetness from elderflower liqueur. It's easy to mix up the base ahead of time and quickly serve as guests arrive.
There are no direct flight to Reno (the closest airport) about an hour drive away from the mountain from Ft Myers. Our original flight went through Denver but a huge storm hit them dropping over one foot snow at the airport so our flight was cancelled and we were re-routed through Chicago. No biggie, but added an extra hour of travel time. So we had about 8 hours total travel time with mandatory masks, self out flights and no food or drink service on the planes. In addition to the 3 hour time change it also happened to be the day we spring forward for daylight saving so our internal clocks were totally messed up.
When we arrived Day 1 California restaurants and shops were open at 25% and Nevada was open at 35% and the California side was not taking dinning reservations. On Day 3 California raised to 35%, some smaller places were "to go" only but the weather in the Heavenly Village was so pleasant that we sat outside for Apres Skis and dinner most of the time. That's one of the things I love about spring skiing but Tahoe in particular. The Village has a gondola in center of it that takes you up to the middle portion of the mountain, where you can then go left or right depending on which side of the mountain you want to ski (California or Nevada). The village has little to no snow because it is 20 degrees warmer than being on the mountain.
Another cool thing that happened on Day 3 was we had some like minded friends fly out and join us. So Zack and Ben both got their buddies to hand out with.
The skiing was great, they got 5 inches of snow the day after we arrive and another 5 inches two days before we left so we got two good powder days of skiing this trip (Ben was in heaven). Day 4 was St. Patricks day, the guys all wore shirts, Allura and I got a massage, then we all met up for some drinks and live music. The duo singing was really good and we even got them to do some John Denver in honor of our friend Kerstan. We'll definitely be back for some more spring skiing! Check the video below Ben made.

St. Patricks Day last year. We were sitting at the local bar just wanting to have a little green beer and relax. St. paddy's day was on Tuesday last year and there was only one other table with people at the entire place. We had taken off of work a little earlier so it was around 4pm. We ordered a beer, couldn't get green beer because they chose not to do it that year and we sitting on the patio. About 30 minutes later the bartender comes out and says "OK guys that's it. Sorry we have to kick you out." Yup! Florida / Lee County shut down all restaurants and bars due to COVID on St Patrick's Day. So when I say this year St Patty's day is going to be sooooooooo much better; I can't be wrong.
Back to the present...This year we did a St Paddy's Day board for the designs. There are 6 designs to choose from so when you are on the product you select your design, style of shirt (v-neck, crew neck, or 3/4 sleeve raglan) and the size. Both the v-neck and crew neck t-shirts are light green and the raglan has green sleeves with a white heather front and back.

Registration starts at 8AM, from there you can hit the Bloody Mary Bar and purchase some mulligans before heading over the pro shop to get a bucket of balls. There will be a bunch of stuff in the swag bag but should we need anything else the shop will be offering 15% for all players.
Shotgun Start is scheduled for 8:30AM (you will be able to get there earlier than 8AM to hit balls if needed).
After the round is complete there will be lunch and we announce the winners of the tournament as well as the raffles and other auction items.

We are appreciative that this event still occurred even though this crazy COVID has put a lot of things on hold for all of us. After speaking with friends and other racers, we were so appreciative of all the pre-cautions that they took and maybe through all this craziness we have learned how to improve the starting of races. They did it in waves and when approaching the start they funneled you into single lines with cones so it avoided a lot of the hustle and bustle and moving around that we all are so familiar with when starting a race. It is exhausting sometimes and adds steps and we don't need any extra when racing for 13.1 miles!
The environment was fabulous! After living in Cape Coral for over 14 years, I have never journeyed or stayed in the Naples 5th avenue area. Well, we were spoiled. The restaurants, the shopping, the people watching was above par for sure. We visited Hob Knob, Caffe Milano, and Bha Bha Persian Bistro. We stayed at the Bayfront Bay hotel which definitely is in need of some upgrades(which we saw is about to happen in summer of 2021- so great for them) but you know what they say.....location, location, location. The room was clean but the rooms are very small but you could consider it quaint. It was about 1/2 mile away from the race and 5th avenue so we were able to walk everywhere. Always a bonus to avoid the uber charges!
Awesome gear that was purchased for this event were my new Brook's Ghost kicks at the Run Shoppe. They were absolutely amazing and kept my feet and legs comfortable for the entire race. If you haven't been to see them and serious about your feet, please GO! Also, GU, NUUM, and glide for her accompanied the list of things that helped me achieve a 2:10 finish time.
I know that running is the greatest but it has gotten me through some of the toughest times in my life. Running carefully has allowed me to keep in great health, improve my mental endurance and strength, and really sticking to anything that is worth it in your life. Running helps achieve all of that for me and I hope if you have it in you, sign up for local events to support the tourism in our beautiful home and state.
Here are the items I use when training and running...
Step 1: You’ll first start by combining the pancake mix and pumpkin pie spice in a large mixing bowl. In another bowl, you’ll combine the egg, mashed sweet potato, and butter and mix until smooth then add the milk, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, and vanilla and whisk together to combine well.
Step 2: Then you add the wet ingredients to the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Do not over-mix. Let batter set for 2 minutes before making the pancakes. As the pancake batter sets, it will thicken however, if pancake batter still seems too thin, you can always add 1-2 Tbsp. more pancake mix.
Step 3: Now it’s time to cook! Heat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little butter (about 1-2 tsp.). Once melted and hot, swirl the butter around the pan. Using a ¼ cup measuring cup, scoop the batter onto the skillet. Let pancakes cook for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles form. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until pancakes are golden and cooked through. Repeat until all of the batter has been used.
The experience is a great one and I am in love with it! They have this cool oil infused cold towels to grab half way through your workout to cool you off and refresh you. It also helps with the stinky sweat smell. The instructors are kicking my but back into shape. Helping with my legs and lower body keeping me strong for the other types of activities like skiing, running, swimming, and hiking!
You have to check out the MyZone heart rate monitor that helps with pushing you to the limits and also seeing everyone else's results up there motivates you to push a little harder to get the absolute best result from your workout. It has more accuracy then your watch for your overall heart rate and calories burned. Easy to use and syncs with your phone with workouts. Definitely a must have if you are looking to increase your overall endurance and push your fitness workout to the limits to have the best effect for your body.

Some of us had sweatshirts, Ben rocked a performance quarter zip as a base layer, they came out great and everyone loved them.

*Tom & Jerry batter: Separate 12 egg yolks and whites and set aside. In a nonreactive bowl, whip the egg whites with 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar until stiff peaks form. In a separate bowl, beat the yolks with 2 pounds of sugar, 2 ounces Jamaican dark rum and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 48 hours before put the bag of gummy worms in the refrigerator. 24 hours before put all the gummies in to a large bowl. Pour the entire bottle of Rum over the Gummies and then put the bowl back in the refrigerator. Stir the gummy worms every couple hours so the one on top get to the bottom and vice versa. Keeping them in the refrigerator help preserve the shape and consistency of the gummy.
We keep them in a covered bowl all night and use a scoop to portion them out into little dixie cups for everyone. We also keep a garbage gap taped up to the table (6' folding table) this way we can easily get everyone to throw out their trash.
Tip 1 - Don't waste your money on the expensive, fancy gummy worms or bears. They tend to break down easier in the alcohol and become a mess when it's time to portion them out or distribute them.
Tip 2 - If you use dark rum you don't have to flavored rum. Some prefer the flavored rum like vanilla but they come out great with just dark rum. Do not use white or silver rum!
Tip 3 - You do not need to spend alot on the rum. Cruzan, Malibu, Bacardi all have inexpensive Dark Rums that are perfect. If you are a real rum connossier do for the good stuff but there is so much sugar from the gummies that most will not notice the difference.

The Bourbon Rickey was the original Rickey before later giving way to the Gin Rickey in popularity. First created in 1883 at Shoomaker’s, a now defunct D.C. bar, the simple mix of bourbon, club soda and lime was a collaboration between bartender George Williamson and Colonel Joe Rickey, when Williamson added half a lime to Rickey’s usual order of bourbon, ice and sparkling mineral water. Here is why it works for me! It's not the biggest cooler it will hold about 18 beers with ice. You can get a bottle of champagne in there if needed but since i'm only using it in the pool or floating in the gulf (lake, ocean, etc) 18 drink is more than enough for a couple people and you get some waters in there too.
There is no way I can drink that much of anything without have to use the restroom anyway. That also creates a chance to fill up the cooler or top it off with ice if necessary.
I floats perfectly and for the most part level if packed correctly. It has the two cup holders on top for my beverage. There is a spot so you can attach it to yourself, the boat, or anything else nearby.
Another thing I like about it when using for boating it that you always have a big cooler on the boat but when you pull up to island or sandbar etc. it's handy to have a little something you can grab and take with you. This way you don't have to constantly walk back to the boat or carry a backup that always gets warm before you can drink it.
