Jumping in the ocean, a walk in the mountains, hitting the road or exploring a city back street; it’s always good to lose yourself for a bit. Fresh off his beautiful win at the Rio Billabong Pro, local surfer Jordy Smith has just been featured in this rad little video released by his board sponsors O’Neil.
Jordy has one of the strongest repertoires of any modern surfer. His raw and aggressive aerial skills are matched by his ability to utilise the entire rail of the board to shift liquid mountains and he does this all with a smile on his face and an easy going attitude.
Filmed during the first half of 2013 in Western Australia and the long tapering walls of Bells Beach in Victoria.

A new film starring Metallica? A cast of thousands of their fans? Breakout star Dane DeHaan? Metallica Through the Never is written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Nimrod Antal, of Predators fame, and produced by IMAX film producer Charlotte Huggins.
The film marries groundbreaking footage and editing techniques with a compelling narrative, in which a band crew member, played by DeHaan, is sent out on a mission during Metallica’s roaring live set in front of a sold-out arena. While on this mission, he unexpectedly has his life turned completely upside down.
Through The Never hits Imax theaters, in 3D, August 9th.

The world has currently gone a little Daft Punk crazy and with the release of Random Access Memories yesterday on iTunes, we have found a little gem for you to add to your collection! This medley of covers is performed by electronic band Pigeon and contains 6 Daft Punk tracks in 9 minutes including versions of One More Time, Around the World, Da Funk, Robot Rock, Aerodynamic, and Harder Better Faster Stronger.
The band perform the medley of tracks live in the studio using a microKORG, NORD lead 2x, KORG microsampler, Roland SPD-SX, T.C HELICON Voice Live Touch, Rocktron Banshee Talkbox, Bass, Gibson SG Guitar, Tambourine and a 3 piece horn section.
