I love how the colorways play out in each pattern to bring out the variety of color! Especially the quilt and wall hanging I created for the Fourth of July! The blue colorway was planned out to be used as such and was inspired by the beauty of summer! So sweet, yet so patriotic! I hope you all have a great memorial weekend and remember those who have passed on. I know I will!

Super excited about these new pattern releases! We have fourteen patterns we are releasing...yes a bit crazy! We had a huge response at Quilt Market, and now we want to share with you some more sneeks! They will be released in two weeks and we are working furiously to get them to print and into your local Quilt Shops! So if you want them.... help us spread the word!
Aren't they to die for! Kristi did an amazing job in every little detail! They are 1940's - 1960's inspired patterns, which matched up with Dress Up Days so sweetly! I will have to share more pictures from today when I get home. I was able to catch up with Sarah Jane today at her booth, which won Best Creative. She's such a doll. !st place went to Bari J. and she deserves it! She has an amazing booth and I'll be sharing that after the trip. Congrats Bari!!!
Riley Blake Designs took all the designers out to dinner last night, and I have to say it was delightful! Thanks to Bret, Cindy and Jina for treating us so well! tt was so fun to connect, laugh, and eat the most amazing italian food ever!

It''s been a crazy adventure so far and I'm very excited how things are going! We walked the show yesterday, made some new connections, reconnected with friends! It's been an amazing adventure so far. Here are a few pics to share!

Can you believe that Quilt Market opens in just a few shorts hours and I'm awake feeling the need to share how excited I am for the opening day! Kristi and I have been working hard in preparing for this debut of Dress Up Days pattern line. I can't wait for you all to see it! So I'm going to give you a sneak then share picture later with the few things I'm adding in the morning. Here's a quick photo of the booth.
I just love how it came together! Isn't Kristi amazing?!? We had so much fun collaberating on this collection of patterns and I'm so excited to see how it's all perceived at this Quilt Market. This my friend is Kristi, from Schnitzel and Boo...plus she's my clothing Pattern Designer.....I'm the lucky one!!!
She's so tiny and cute! We went to lunch today at this diner that had some pretty delish food. It was a little ways to walk from the convention center..however you can't beat out fun ambience and vintagey diner experiences at Quilt Market.
I'm turning in before I turn into a pumpkin and hoping to get some shut eye, before the sun come up!

I've been a bit busy with Quilt Market preparations and also... I got invited by the incredible Amy Smart to be apart of this great group of women and do my very first Quilting Bee! I first did two blocks for Sherri and it was "Sew" much fun!

You need to go check out the rest of the quilting blocks! All the women are doing an amazing job on all their blocks. I feel like it's an honor to be apart of this fun group of women. The inspiration they share on how they want their quilt made is so relaxing to me, and gets my creative juices flowing.
Speaking of Quilt Market I will be sharing some more on that later this weekend. I'll announce my schoolhouse time, and give you some sneaks about what Kristi and I have been up too.

I've been a bit quiet around here...busy preparing for Quilt Market, and among other things! It's been a great day filled with sewing for Quilt Market, preparations for schoolhouse, and designing away.
Today i spent the day with my husband and tonight we made a Nutella Molten Cake together. No it's not on my diet list, but for today I think I deserve a little bit of a treat for staying on my goal in losing weight and no Diet Pepsi since hmmm the end of February! Can you believe that????
I hope you have all had a fabulous day and I will try to come back more and not be so distant from all of you who I adore! So celebrate with me and let's make May a great month! Birthday's equal to another great and blissful year and I can't wait to see what this year brings!

Dress Up Days. Inspiration, creativity, and my little Ramona came to life in this fabric line.
