Last Saturday saw me head up to Gloucestershire to the Great Tythe Barn just outside Tetbury for the wedding of Vanessa and Richard. A lovely day at last, a little bit of sun here and there but dry and warm, and about time too! The whole day was in one place so nice and easy for me, no mad running around the countryside.

A lovely ceremony in the Great Tythe Barn itself and then a lovely relaxing afternoon in the lovely gardens. Champagne, canapes a few family formal photographs and a little time away from the madding crowd for Vanessa and Richard to capture a few romantic pictures.

Back to the Tythe Barn, Richard and Vanessa make their grand entance followed by the official speeches and then the wedding breakfast. After the wondeful meal, cutting of the cake and some more gentle meandering and socializing in the gardens. Soon its time for the important first dance and Richard and Vanessa take to the dance floor.

A couple of days ago, I had the most fun on an eshoot. Vicci and Jon came to see me in the studio and yes you guessed it, it was raining hard outside, another eshoot in the studio loomed. Not that I mind shooting in the studio, I just prefer to be out and about, I find it far more stimultating for both myself artistically and for my couples experience. Still, I digress, raining it was and so the studio beckoned, however Jon plays in a band and Vicci also sings, and music is definately playing quite a big part in their wedding. It just so happened that Jon had a fair bit of his gear in the back of the car, so off he went to fetch it…! What followed was a fab fun shoot, Jon and Vicci just did their thing and I snapped away and got treated to a private concert whilst I worked, dosn’t get much better than that!

Jon and Vicci are getting married in July in Dorset at Kingston Country Courtyard just outside Corfe Castle, if their wedding day rocks half as much as their Dorset eshoot, its gonna be fab

Last Friday I met up with Denise and Michael for their eshoot and would you know it the sun was only shining…oh yes it was!

Denise and Michael live in Weymouth Dorset and are rather partial to being near water so opted to go down to the local Mill on the river Stour for their shoot.

Denise and Michael are getting married in June at the fab Dorset wedding venue that is Lorton House…more sunshine please!
