Emma is very excited about Uncle Ken's wedding. She's got an island dress and everything. I think mom might feel a little guilty about leaving her with family while we are in Hawaii. Today mom took the time to make Emma a real flower lei. Made from the myrtle in the backyard, it became the perfect present because Emma loves purple.

Emma knows just what she likes to eat. I love to watch her look the server straight in the eye with a cold stare and state "mincrndgsriceandsprite please." A sharp nod and she's done. I never know what to say to the server after that, do I apologize? Are they as enamored with her cuteness as I? Why are they not laughing like me?
