Bleach is a story of high school going boy, Kurosaki Ichigo, who is like ordinary school going boys despite one exception.

The extraordinary thing about Kurosaki is that he can see and communicate with the ghosts. Kurosaki is also able to see the spirits from the afterlife and he does everything that he can for them. Kurosaki runs a local clinic along with his family. Hollow, a hungry and anguished spirit changes Ichigo’s life, when it attacks Ichigo, and his two sisters. Kurosaki meets Kuchiki Rukia, a Shinigami (Death God) who aids him and also his sisters.

Rukia follows Hollow and comes to know that Kurosaki can see her and the Hollow. Kuchiki Rukia got injured during the fight against Hollow and transferred her powers to Ichigo

After that Ichigo becomes the Shinigami and begins his training and duty to maintain the balance between the living and dead. Watch the best of bleach episodes here.

In this latest installment, Bleach returns to its kindler, gentler side, with a story focused on ever-sweet Orihime. Although her story still falls into the “I’m weak and must get stronger” theme that has been dominating Bleach for nearly all of this season, there’s something different about Orihime’s approach to the problem. Her story adds more complex, emotional elements to the theme, and she provides a stark contrast to the manly men beating each other up all the time.

The episode opens with Ikakku wearing an awesomely girly shirt that even makes Rangiku question his “preferences”. The first few minutes are seriously LOL-worthy. Keigo and his sister have been worth quite a few laughs this season.

Chad is still getting his butt-whooped, but he’s got that fightin’ spirit. Orihime, however, doesn’t seem destined to help out on the front lines. Urahara basically tells her right to her face that she’s kinda useless in a fight right now. It’s true, but still harsh, which may have been part of Urahara’s plan to motivate her (or maybe he just felt like being a dick). But, regardless of his intent, good old Rukia is there for one of her vintage pep talks to get Orihime back in the game.

Orihime’s moments with Hachi are genuinely touching and well-written. The soft-spoken big guy provides a great complement to Orihime’s personality and gives us a bit of different perspective on the importance of the “support” characters in the story. As any MMORPG player knows, the healers are often the most critical members of the team, even though they don’t fight much.

Back in the Arrancar, Yammy’s got his arm back, and the ungrateful bastard tests it out on the poor gal that fixed it for him in a scene that’s not entirely surprising, but still pretty gruesome. One small but important piece of info that Ulquiorra drops is that Grimmjow is no longer an Espada now that he’s a one-armed bandit. This should provide for some interesting developments later.

The last couple episodes have spent a lot of time developing Orihime, and the writing has been good so far. While Orihime’s plot lines are always fairly predictable, they’re still cute, and her little stories have always made her the most sympathetic and endearing character in the show. With Tsubaki back, it seems that she could be getting into the “must train to be a better fighter” trend that all the other Bleach characters are freaking out about like its the latest weight loss fad, but I’d like to see her shine as a healer and support character, kind of like a Red Mage in Final Fantasy XI.

The episode ends with Aizen watching images of Orihime, like some creepy stalker. There’s something awfully foreboding about Aizen’s fascination with Orihime, something that’s bound to develop into a disturbing plot twist. This can’t end well. Aizen’s kind of like Mike Tyson, if he shows interest in you, run away, run away!

Kariya explains the background of his past as a Bount and how the Shinigami betrayed and slaughtered all of his companions. As Kariya begins to attack Rantao, Ishida jumps and fights instead. After some really cool fight scenes, it becomes apparent that Ishida’s battle accessory has reached its limit. Rantao manages to hold Kariya still long enough for Ishida to fire off a powerful blast. Ishida holds back and Kariya lives. Rantao’s reiatsu goes out of control and Ishida absorbs all her spirit particles and fires them off in one shot toward the sky. This causes his accessory to break and Ishida once again loses his powers. Luckily Rantao survives and Ichigo arrives just in time to save the day.

Lurichiyo and Kenryuu attempt to settle their differences with a very unusual game of soccer. However, the group must be careful that Soul society does not discover that they are illegally using a barrier as the pitch so when Ikkaku arrives to investigate what is going on they tell him that Ichigo is undergoing intensive training. They then get him to join the game although he doesn’t understand what is happening and ends up battling with Ichigo whilst the game continues around them. however, their battle soon attracts a hollow and the group must join forces to fight it off. This causes Lurichiyo to lose the game. But Shuu soon arrives to explain how all of the commoners back in Soul Society are really looking forward to the soccer tournament and Kenryuu is forced to concede that it is a good idea after all.
