Ireland’s most well known radio station- Today FM describes Gill as “one of them rare little gems worth highlighting” and hail her debut single The Turn “as captivating”. Legendary DJ Tony Fenton awarded her his Daily Download- a very high accolade for an unsigned act (previous acts that were merited this include BEYONCE, PJ HARVEY, U2, SNOW PATROL, BELLX1) Gill is currently receiving support from Regional and National Radio & Press. Downloadmusic.ie – Ireland most used online digital site- SINGLED and featured Stace Gill out on their Homepage stating Gill’s remarkable talent. “Gill’s music encapsulates an underground electronica vibe fused with excellently crafted loops, layered with acoustic undertones perfectly accompanied by exquisite harmony lines”- The Limerick Event Guide.

Authenticated the old fashioned way, having paid her dues by touring the world over including The USA, Newfoundland, Canada (where she also a guest performed her forthcoming single The Turn on the world known broadcasting channel CBC the turn on their afternoon show), the UK and her homeland of Ireland. Having always been a highly active musician who has performed with many of the luminaries of the Irish Music scene such as: The Republic of Loose, Declan O’Rourke, Dirty Epics & James Vincent McMorrow, she has also donned the stage at various well known music festivals: The Electric Picnic & Festival of World Cultures and has played in all the main venues in Ireland.

A bit of a double-sided coin however, Gill, Moon-shining as an active musician amongst her peers she is also a part time Radio DJ , Free lance PR agent & Events coordinator- who promotes various acts and bands. However, for the time being it is looking like it is Stace Gills “turn” to be in the spot light.

I was at Unconvention Manchester (Salford) on Thursday and Friday last. What fun we had not to mention what we learned. One of the most enjoyable moments I had was watching Andrew Dubber make this great music video in a pizza joint on Thursday night with Brad and Tracy. I’m off screen to right but who cares.

A host of Irish musicians have recorded a version of The Horslips’ classic ‘Trouble With a Capital T’ for a special celebrity episode of the Raw Sessions with Sony Ericsson.

The track will be released as a single this Friday, May 22 in aid of the Irish Youth Foundation. See it performed live on The Late Late Show tonight.

The charity cover will be performed exclusively on the Late Late Show this Friday by ‘The Troublemakers’, a group of musicians which includes members of The Blizzards, Republic of Loose, Brian Hogan and Kevin Godley, not to mention some former members of The Horslips themselves.

The celebrity episode of the Raw Sessions was recorded at Windmill Lane Studios on Ringsend Road for the fifth episode of the series. It will air on RTÉ Two on Tuesday, June 9 at 11.50pm, but you can download the single from tomorrow night at www.therawsessions.ie.

Identity Parade (downloadmusic.ie/identityparade) (myspace.com/identityparade) with their own unique blend of powerful, upbeat and tasteful energetic songs with catchy melodies are creating a new refreshing sound and vibe. The band have played alongside; Republic Of Loose, The Blizzards, The Coronas and have played venues such as Whelans, The Button Factory, Vicar Street, the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, building a reputation as an exciting live act attracting bigger crowds on their musical journey.

Identity Parade have spent most of 2008 recording their debut album due to be released in late 2009. The album has been completed by the bands Producer, John Turps (Saw Doctor + Co Producer 87-93, Honorary Waterboy) in Dublin @ Asylum Studios, mixed by Liam Mulvaney, of The Radio fame, (Greys Anatomy Best of Soundtrack).

The album project has been recorded on location at Bermingham House Tuam Co Galway, a safe haven for Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithfull in the late 60´s, Asylum Studios in Dublin and 147 studios also in Dublin.
