Beyond reveal hypocrisy of failed national security
by Mike Adams

The Dual Ridge Metal Boutique tissue boxes sold at Bed, Bath & Beyond stores have been discovered to be radioactive. Made with the extremely dangerous material used to blast cancer tumors with radiation -- cobalt-60 -- they emit gamma rays that are known to cause both cancer and infertility. They were manufactured in India, shipped on a commercial container to New Jersey, and then distributed to Bed, Bath & Beyond stores in 20 states.

How much radiation do these tissue holders emit, exactly? Nuclear Regulatory Commission spokesman David McIntyre said, on the record, that standing near one of these tissue holders for 30 minutes a day would expose you to the equivalent of "a couple of chest X-Rays" each year. The Illinois Emergency Management Agency went even further, issuing a release stating that every 10 hours spent near the product would expose you to the equivalent of one chest X-Ray (http://beaconnews.suntimes.com/news/9990656-418/no-immediate-threat-of-low-level-radiation-from-bed-bath-and-beyond-tissue-box-holders.html).

In case you were wondering, a chest X-Ray is not a small dose of radiation. Read more...

Cardiofy Heart Care Supplement

Cancer Doctors Still Not Great With Patients' Pain

(HealthDay News) -- Oncologists think they are good at managing cancer patients' pain, but a new survey shows otherwise.

In response to two hypothetical vignettes describing a cancer patient who was suffering from pain, the majority of oncologists offered up a treatment plan that pain specialists would consider "unacceptable."

"There are serious deficiencies in oncologists' knowledge of cancer pain management," said study author Brenda Breuer, director of epidemiologic research in the department of pain medicine and palliative care at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.

The study appears in the Nov. 14 issue of the Journal of Clinical Oncology.

Depending on the type of cancer and how advanced it is, anywhere from 14 percent to 100 percent of cancer patients experience pain, according to background information in the study. Read more...

Ayurtox for Body Detoxification

Many Kindergarteners Already on Road to Obesity, Study Finds

(HealthDay News) -- Today's kindergarteners are heavier than kids brought up in the 1970s and 1980s and appear to be on the road to becoming overweight and obese in the years to come, a new study finds.

"It's not just kids who are already overweight getting more and more so, there is an entire shift. Even those who are normal weight are gaining weight," said lead study author Ashlesha Datar, senior economist at RAND Corp. in Santa Monica, Calif.

Researchers analyzed data on nearly 6,000 white, black and Hispanic children who participated in the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study -- a nationally representative sample -- and had their height and weight measured over nine years, in kindergarten, first, third, fifth and eighth grades.

The study found nearly 40 percent of kindergarteners had a body mass index (BMI) in the 75th percentile or above, up from 25 percent in the 1970s and 1980s, when the growth charts were developed by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Read more...

Immunice for Immune Support

A holistic approach to cancer therapy

by Wolfgang Woeppel, M. D.

The current situation Thorough analysis of the situation in the field of cancer therapy shows that dissatisfaction with the range of treatments offered by orthodox medicine has grown among patients and many of the doctors treating them. More and more patients are rejecting the aggressive forms of therapy used by orthodox medicine and seeking treatment by natural, biological methods. Many doctors, especially those responsible for the continued care of patients once they have been discharged from the hospital, after their initial scepticism are often including such biological methods in their therapeutic repertoire once they have recognized that these methods can be helpful in the very situations where scientifically orientated medicine is not allowed to give up the struggle. Orthodox medicine rejects these methods, which are mostly based on experience, because it will only accept what can be proved by the rules of scientific study which it recognizes. This has resulted in the setting up of two camps which, to my mind, are wrongly engaged in a bitter battle. Read more...

AyurGold for Healthy Blood

Drinking More Fluids Could Lower Men's Bladder Cancer Risk

(HealthDay News) -- Men who drink plenty of low-sugar fluids may reduce their risk for bladder cancer, new research suggests.

Although the reason for the association between fluid intake and protection against cancer remains unknown, researchers theorize the fluids may flush out potential cancer-causing agents before they have a chance to cause any damage.

In conducting the study, Jiachen Zhou, a doctoral candidate in epidemiology at Brown University, and colleagues evaluated the fluid intake of nearly 48,000 men who were part of a long-term study. The men, who were aged 40 to 75 when they enrolled in the study in 1986, answered a questionnaire about their fluid intake every four years for more than two decades.

The investigators found that the men with a high daily fluid intake, or those who drank more than 10 cups (2,531 milliliters) per day, had a 24 percent reduced risk for bladder cancer. The study authors concluded that doctors should tell their patients to drink plenty of low-sugar fluids. Read more...

AyurGold for Healthy Blood

Arterial stiffness is increased with hypothyroidism

Did you know that hidden in the over 500 reference abstracts regarding the safety and efficacy of oral administration of Calcium EDTA on my website is an article that shows restoration of thyroid
function following the lead detoxification treatment of oral EDTA? The less they discussed or expressed their emotions, the more likely they were to have depression and anxiety symptoms, the Ohio State University researchers said.

The investigators also found that some of the women felt worse emotionally when they had more information about heart disease. The new study, using data on nearly 1 million women in the United Kingdom who were tracked for an average of 6.2 years after surgery, outlines the risk in precise detail.

One of every 140 women who had surgery that required a hospital stay was readmitted for venous thromboembolism within 12 weeks of the operation. The rate was highest for hip or knee replacement surgery at one in 45, and was one in 85 after cancer surgery. The incidence after operations not requiring a hospital stay was one in 815, the researchers found. Read more...

Cardiofy Heart Care Supplement

Mysterious white goo repeatedly found blanketing cancer-stri

Mysterious white goo repeatedly found blanketing cancer-stricken Turkish city -- are chemtrails to blame?

Residents of Dilovasi, an industrial suburb just outside of Istanbul, Turkey, have been looking for answers concerning a mysterious substance that, on numerous occasions, has been found covering cars, trees, clotheslines, and vegetable gardens throughout the city. Polyphenols in cacao beans are linked to promoting heart, brain, and liver health, which has sparked renewed interest in chocolate as a medicinal food. And a new study adds to the growing list of benefits, showing that chocolate polyphenols also help to lower bad cholesterol.

Published in the journal Diabetic Medicine, the study tested the effects of polyphenol-rich chocolate in a group of 12 volunteers with type-2 diabetes. After 16 weeks, the researchers from Hull University in the U.K. discovered that the polyphenols helped lower participants' bad cholesterol levels while raising good cholesterol levels.

"Chocolate with a high cocoa content should be included in the diet of individuals with type-2 diabetes as part of a sensible, balanced approach to diet and lifestyle," said professor Steve Akin, author of the study.Read more...

Ayurtox for Body Detoxification

Drink Milk and Lose Weight?

Q: Drink Milk and Lose Weight?
I have been seeing more and more advertisements claiming that drinking milk promotes weight loss. What do you make of this? Are these claims based on studies? Are these studies valid?
A: Some evidence suggests that high calcium consumption in the form of dairy foods can promote weight loss, but that doesn??t mean that all you have to do is drink lots of milk. Here's the story:

Researchers at the University of Tennessee found that calcium stored in the fat cells of mice can help determine their metabolism. In one study, the researchers fed obese mice a high-fat, high-sugar diet for six weeks. The animals' body fat increased by 27 percent. Then the researchers put the mice on different low-calorie diets. They also gave one group calcium supplements, another group dairy foods, and the third group just the low-calorie diet. The mice in the third group lost only 8 percent of their new body fat; the mice that received calcium supplements lost 42 percent, and the mice that got dairy products lost 69 percent of the fat they had put on. Read more...

Cardiofy Heart Care Supplement

Exposing the fraud and mythology of conventional cancer treatments

Treating cancer is BIG business in America -- in fact, it's a $200 billion a year business. Yet 98 percent of conventional cancer treatments not only FAIL miserably, but are also almost guaranteed to make cancer patients sicker.

What's worse: The powers are suppressing natural cancer cures that could help tens of thousands of people get well and live cancer free with little or no dependence on drugs, surgery and chemotherapy.

The treatment of cancer in the U.S. is one of the most bald-faced cover-ups in medical history. Enough is enough! You deserve to know the truth about the criminality of oncologists and about the dangers of chemotherapy, conventional cancer treatments and the cancer "business."

Chemotherapy kills more than cancer
Want proof? Did you know that 9 out of 10 oncologists would refuse chemotherapy if they had cancer? That's up to 91% -- a huge percentage that clearly shines a light on the truth: chemotherapy kills. Conventional oncologists are not only allowing this to happen, but they're also bullying many patients into chemotherapy and surgery right after their diagnoses. Read more...

Ayurtox for Body Detoxification

World Trade Center Workers Twice as Likely to Have Asthma

(HealthDay News) -- World Trade Center rescue and cleanup workers have asthma rates twice that of the general population, a new study shows.

In 2005, about 8 percent of workers and volunteers who had spent time at Ground Zero reported having an asthma attack during the previous year, compared to about 4 percent of the general population. He conducted the study along with Hyun Kim and colleagues at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York City.

The study was to be presented Tuesday at the American College of Chest Physicians' annual meeting in San Diego. Read more...

Ayurtox for Body Detoxification

Healthy - Organic Vegetables and Fruits

Healthy - Organic Vegetables and Fruits

Apricots - powerful antioxidant properties.

Artichoke - helps detoxify the body

Asparagus - contains vitamins A, C, E and B-complex, potassium, folate and zinc. also a powerful anticarcinogen.

Avocado - very rich in monounsaturated fat which easily burns off as energy and is very high in fiber and potassium. also contains protein, vitamins A, B-complex, C and E, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus.

Banana - rich in potassium, iron, fiber, protein, vitamin A and B-complex. contains tryptophan, which calms the nervous system. also acts as a natural antacid.

Barley - helps lower blood cholesterol. helps fight against intestinal cancer. contains B-complex, thiamine, niacin, minerals, iron, and calcium, potassium, and phosphorus.

Beet greens - contain vitamins A, B-complex and C, calcium, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus. Read more...

AyurGold for Healthy Blood

Gardening activities reduce lung cancer risk by 50%

Not only is having a green thumb a great way to stay healthier and happier, but new research shows it can actually protect you from cancer.

Noted cancer treatment and research center M.D. Anderson, at the University of Texas, found in a study that time spent gardening once or twice a week can reduce the risk of cancer (http://www.wftv.com/health/27659764/detail.html) by 50 percent in lifelong nonsmokers. Moreover, researchers found, the same level of gardening activity by former smokers can reduce cancer risk by as much as 40 percent.

And while researchers said they weren't exactly sure if gardening reduced the incidence of cancer more than other physical activities, they did find that it was the most commonly shared trait among the study's participants.

The cancer-prevention benefits of gardening are also echoed by the American Institute of Cancer Research, which said that gardening is a physical activity (http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/fitness_articles.asp?id=453) that not only helps prevent cancer but also contributes to overall health and endurance.

People who garden tend to eat better food - food that is untainted by chemicals and poisons and food that is much tastier than what you're used to buying in a supermarket.

Along those lines, gardening means exposure to the sun and its known vitamin D-supplying qualities that have been linked to the prevention of some cancers and a wide variety of other illnesses and diseases. Read more...

AyurGold for Healthy Blood

New evidence shows selenium and omega-3s prevent colon cancer

When scientists gathered in Houston recently for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Frontiers in Cancer Prevention Research Conference, they heard groundbreaking evidence about how colon cancer (http://www.dreddyclinic.com/findinformation/cc/colorectalcancer.php) can be prevented. The new data wasn't about drugs or surgery, either. Instead, two separate research groups concluded natural substances appear to protect from often deadly colon malignancies.

Colon cancer, which the American Cancer Society estimates is diagnosed in over 108,000 Americans each year, is intricately linked to adenomas, also called polyps (http://www.dreddyclinic.com/findinformation/pp/colonpolyps.php). These lesions grow in the large bowel and start off as benign. However, they can turn into cancerous tumors and 70 to 80% of all cancers of the colon (the longest part of the large intestine) and rectum result from adenomas-turned-malignant. Read more...

Immunice for Immune Support

Heart Failure Treatment Underused

(HealthDay News) -- A recommended treatment for heart failure is underused in U.S. hospitals, a new study finds.

The use of aldosterone antagonist therapy in patients with heart failure is designated as "useful and recommended" in chronic heart failure guidelines established by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association (ACC/AHA), but this study found that less than one-third of patients hospitalized for heart failure receive the treatment.

Researchers analyzed data on 43,625 patients admitted with heart failure and discharged home from 241 hospitals participating in a hospital recognition program called Get With The Guidelines -- HF between 2005 and 2007.

The study found that 12,565 patients (28.8 percent) from 201 hospitals met ACC/AHA heart failure management guidelines criteria, and 4,087 eligible patients received an aldosterone antagonist when they were discharged from hospital. What is your opinion of not allowed as a weight loss aid?
A: You may remember that not allowed was part of the once popular but short-lived prescription diet drug fen-phen (fenfluramine and not allowed) that was pulled off the market in 1997. The reason was that fenfluramine produced heart valve problems in some people. At the time, I recommended that anyone using not allowed for weight loss also stop taking it, although the FDA didn't ask for its withdrawal.

not allowed survived the demise of fen-phen and is aggressively promoted for weight loss on the Internet. However, my view hasn't changed: I believe you should avoid it. Read more...

Cardiofy Heart Care Supplement

How to Maintain Your pH Balance in an Acidic Lifestyle

People are living longer today. The reason isn’t due to increased health, but more medical intervention. More than ever before, our bodies are under attack from a variety of cultural shifts, including highly processed foods, increased stress, fast-paced lifestyles, and pollutants. These threats are creating highly acidic environments within our bodies and killing the cells we need to survive.

The human body needs an oxygenated environment to remain healthy. The pH (potential of Hydrogen) measures the ratio of acidity or alkalinity in a solution. Balance occurs when the pH slightly favors the alkalis. Acid excess stresses the organs. Over-acidification, or acidosis, results when there is more acid than the body can neutralize and detoxify. The more acid we have, the harder the organs – like adrenals, thyroid, and liver – have to work, which stresses the systems. Read more...

Cardiofy Heart Care Supplement

The pH of an animals blood (especially a race horse)

The pH of an animals blood (especially a race horse) is critical!

If you are looking for the reason why there is a sudden, and apparently inexplicable, drop in a horse's racetrack performance ... then continue to read!!!

The one single factor which causes a horse to 'train off' faster than any other is a disturbance in its blood pH balance. Almost impossible to detect, especially in its early stages, this pH disturbance can be attributed to an excessive build-up of acids in the horse's system, a depletion of its natural alkaline reserves, injudicious training techniques; and other closely associated factors such as high grain diets, the prevailing climate and workload.

A drop in the pH indicates an increase in the acidity of the blood. In lay terms, this is referred to as 'acidosis', but more correctly it is the LOWERING OF THE ALKALINE RESERVES.

The blood of the equine athlete has a very delicate acid/alkaline balance. Optimum performance demands that this balance be maintained within very narrow, even critical, limits. Read more...

AyurGold for Healthy Blood

Gene Variant May Raise Death Risk After Heart Bypass

(HealthDay News) -- People who carry a certain genetic variant involved in blood clotting and inflammation have a lower five-year survival rate after coronary artery bypass surgery, researchers report.

The findings should be used to better treat and ensure the survival of these surgical patients over the long-term, said the research team from Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.

"There are possibilities that we could apply this information someday to a patient's prognosis, and for careful monitoring or increased surveillance if a person has a 2.5 times higher risk of dying, instead of letting them go their way after a CABG [coronary artery bypass graft] surgery," study senior author Mihai Podgoreanu, an assistant professor of anesthesiology, said in a Duke news release.

In conducting the study, published in the Sept. 12 issue of Circulation, the researchers found variants in the thrombomodulin gene were associated with greater risk of death in the five years following CABG surgery in a group of roughly 1,000 patients.

The researchers also took other known risk factors into consideration and confirmed their findings by repeating the study with a separate group of about 1,000 more patients. Read more...

Cardiofy Heart Care Supplement

Salt has become an inexpensive and readily available

Salt has become an inexpensive and readily available commodity that is taken for granted by most people. But in older times, wars were fought over salt, and huge taxes were also levied on it. In some places, salt was in such high demand that it was minted into coins that were as valuable as gold and functioned as the basic currency for ancient civilizations.

Where salt was scarce it was traded ounce for ounce with gold-for as the Roman stateman Cassiodorus observed, 'Some seek not gold, but there lives not a man who does not need salt.'

Because everyone, rich and poor, craves salt, rulers going back at least as far as the Chinese emperor Yu in 2200 B.C. have tried mightily to control and tax it. Salt taxes helped finance empires throughout Europe and Asia, but also inspired a lively black market, smuggling rings, riots, even revolutions.

Pure salt consists of the elements sodium and chlorine. Its chemical name is sodium chloride and its formula is NaCl. Its mineral name is halite. Read more...

Immunice for Immune Support

Placental transfer of heavy metals in normal pregnant Japanese women

AuthorTsuchiya H; Mitani K; Kodama K; Nakata TAddressSourceArch Environ Health, 1984 Jan, 39:1, 11-7

AbstractTo investigate the interrelation of heavy metals and the influence on next generation, total mercury and methylmercury, lead, cadmium, manganese, copper, zinc, and iron were determined in the maternal blood, placenta, umbilical cord, and umbilical cord blood.

Samples were collected at delivery from 231 pregnant women who were living in the city of Nagoya, located in the central district of Japan, during 1974 and 1978. Total mercury and methylmercury, cadmium, and iron were higher in cord blood than in maternal blood, whereas copper and zinc were lower. Read more...

Immunice for Immune Support

Study Compares Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair Methods

(HealthDay News) -- A less-invasive method of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair reduces the short-term risk of death, according to a new U.S. study.

The interim findings are from a nine-year multicenter trial comparing patient outcomes after endovascular and open surgical repair of AAA. The report included postoperative outcomes of up to two years (average 1.8 years of follow-up) for 881 patients, aged 49 or older, who had endovascular repair (444) or open repair (437).

Endovascular repair is performed through a catheter inserted into an artery. Open repair involves an abdominal incision. Of the 45,000 patients in the United States who undergo elective repair of an unruptured AAA each year, more than 1,400 die in the perioperative period -- the first 30 days after surgery or inpatient status. There's limited data available about whether short-term survival is better after endovascular repair compared to open repair. Read more...

Ayurtox for Body Detoxification
