Episode 2 - The enemy is Goku’s brother?! The secret of the Saiyan, the mightiest warriors

The stranger says that his name is Raditz and that he is Goku's older brother. Goku cannot remember this, as he suffers from brain damage caused by a fall when he was a child. Raditz reports that he and Goku are of a alien race called the Saiyans and that he and Goku are among the last four remaining. He then asks Goku to join them in exterminating the population of Earth, taking Gohan hostage when Goku refuses. Piccolo appears and offers to help him defeat Raditz, Goku accepts his offer and together they follow after Raditz. But then, has Raditz kidnapped Gohan. Unable to defeat him alone, Goku is forced to team up with his enemy, Piccolo, in an attempt to rescue his son. Goku and Piccolo arrive and confront Raditz, but Raditz is not impressed and tells them that the other two Saiyans are even stronger than him.

Episode 1 - The Beginning of the Battle! Son Goku is Back

Long ago, Bardock, a legendary Saiyan warrior died in attempt to stop Freeza, a galactic tyrant who ruled over the vast reaches of space. But before Freeza destroys Bardock’s home planet, one space pod seems to have escaped only moments beforehand. Kakarrot, Bardock’s son, had escaped the planet’s explosion and was sent to Earth to follow through with Freeza’s orders of conquering it. Upon crash landing on Earth, however, Kakarrot is found by an elderly man, Son Gohan, who raises him as his own, naming him Son Goku. Years pass and Goku ends up serving as Earth’s greatest protector, completely unaware of his Saiyan heritage. But it seems that Goku is not the only survivor of his home planet, as another Saiyan has reached Earth to remind him of his true purpose.

Gohan, Goku's four-year-old son, is missing. Goku heads out on his flying cloud to search for him and eventually finds and retrieves him. Meanwhile, a farmer witnesses a spacecraft landing. A man emerges from the vessel and flies off to scout out a powerful life form he locates with the help of an aparatus on his eye. The life form, Piccolo, is nearly killed by the stranger, but this is averted when the man leaves to scout out a more powerful life form. The other strong life form is Goku who at Master Roshi's house presents his son to the host, Krillin, and Bulma. The stranger lands and speaks to Goku in a familiar manner.
