No,I have no problem with Xbox gamers, they're free to play however/whatever they want. Personally I'm a PC gamer, but the thing that bothers me about Xbox gamers is this whole red ring issue. You spend all this time getting your Xbox set up,and building up your profile and everything, then the entire thing just crashes and you have to buy an entirely new xbox to start all over again, and it's a known issue, yet Microsoft has yet to even attempt to fix it,and you just keep buying Xboxes. : / I just don't quite get it,I'm assuming it's just that you love your xbox so much you're not gonna let it go,which I can understand. See you on Steam sometime once I get my PC upgraded. (:
Game on.
A lot of you are interested in what kinds of music I'm gonna refer to you. So instead of just choosing one band at first,i'm gonna throw you a couple different groups to give you a solid taste of the kinds of things you should expect from me.

This one should be painfully obvious,as anyone with an interest in metal has heard of these guys at least once. This band is definitely in my Top 5,and is a sound I NEVER get tired of.

Amon Amarth, possibly one of the best Viking Metal groups I've ever heard of,has a real viking tone to it,the vocals are growly like a viking, yet not entirely non-understandable,the drums often sound like you could single them out and use them for your own war drums, and the guitars are low, melodic, and played very well.
Definitely something to blast while you're playing your favorite medieval-themed game like Oblivion or something.

Next up isn't really Metal, but probably something you could get into if you like metal. It's more "Industrial",but also goes by Aggrotech,EBM,it's got like a million different names but it's all basically the same thing.

God Module has a great spooky sound, often with plenty of harshness thrown in,they have a very unique type of sound for their genre of music, and is great for playing your favorite horror games, except for ones where you need ears like...Amnesia.../Hides behind a randomly placed couch. (Well I suppose keeping it down low would work, and it'd probably make the game even scarier. Some people might not find it very scary, but when you're being chased down that hallway with 3 health left and some God Module pounding into your head, you'll feel it.

This one's not quite metal either, but like I said,I'm just giving you an idea of what kind of things to expect, don't worry, metal is definitely my priority but I do try to open my eyes to different kinds of music as well. Now if you haven't heard of the youtuber Brentalfloss, you've probably never heard of these guys, they make,or rather used to make awesome 8-bit raps (SIT BACK DOWN),give them a chance, they're not really anything like the rappers you know like -Censored- or -Censored-,but they've definitely got talent and love what they do. Duane and Brand0 are big time old school gamers who are still in love with games like Castlevania and Battletoads, and they're here to use their words and beats to show you how much they love them. Their lyrics can often be garish and vulgar, but they mean well, what else can you do with rap? : /

     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mReB3RVPFBY&feature=related

Here's a link to em 'cause I can't seem to embed the video for some reason.

But if this rap scene bothers you, don't worry, video game rap is the only rap I listen to and it's incredibly hard to find.

That should give you an idea, even if rather vague, what kind of music I listen to,and what I'm going to be showing you in the future, thanks for following me around and I hope you continue to do so. ^^

Some guitar stuffs.

Hey all, finally got around to doing some guitar stuff for you.
Like I told you before,I don't really have an amp,or even a decent recording camera,so I can't show you me playing just yet,but hopefully soon I can get something going, but right now,I'd like to show you what little I do have right now and give you my thoughts on it.

Right now,all I really have is my Bronze Series Warlock from B.C. Rich,I got it from my dad awhile back, and while it's not at all a bad guitar,I'm not entirely fond of it,and will likely one day soon replace it with an Ibanez,I've got my eye on the IJX121 package from Musician's Friend,as I myself am a beginner and think it would be a great place to start, especially considering the budget I'm on. I do love Warlocks though, they've got a very interesting, yet not uncomfortable to play shape, this one has a nice beveled edge on both sides of the body, under each top horn, all the way down towards the bottom horns, the pickups are B.C. Rich BDSM humbuckers.

B.C. Rich guitars can take a beating, this thing's as solid as a rock, you could probably beat someone over the head with it and only have to play with the truss rod for a second to get it back in tune, which is probably what's happened to mine,my dad reportedly got it from a pawn shop, and it's got a bit of a chunk missing from the fretboard on the 17th fret, there's a dime-sized chip in the headstock, which I tried covering up with a trick I learned about on the internet which includes baking powder and ink of whatever color you need it to be,needless to say it didn't work out the way I wanted it to,and up close you can tell someone screwed with it,and how scratched and beat up the body is,but from far away it looks like a nice guitar, and is very well built, durable, and stays in tune pretty well. Mine's just very dirty.

It's got your usual set of knobs, one for volume, one for tone, and a 3-way pickup selector switch, the head of mine has broken off so I've got a little metal twig poking out that you have to grab with the very tips of your fingernails, other than that the body is made of Agathis, while the bolt on Maple neck sports a nice dark Rosewood fretboard with a full 24 frets.

Other than all that,I'm not sure what else you could want to know, leave a comment with any questions you may have. (:

Overall Rating:7/10 -Something about the Bronze Series turns me off,and I'm trying not to let my emotional attachments to it reflect on my review,as I really just have a hard time looking at it,but regardless,it is a good guitar, might not be for everybody,as most B.C. Rich guitars are built for Metal, but if you're on my blog that's probably most of you listen to anyhow. (: Would very much like a higher end Warlock somewhere down the road, but for someone on a budget like myself, this would be a good place to start.

Neck Rating:8/10 -The neck is nice and smooth, and pretty wide, though I'd personally like different fretmarks, something about dot inlays and not having the bottom 2 on the 24th fret drive me insane.

Body Rating:9/10 -The Warlock has a very distinct shape, the beveling on the side makes it sit on your leg very comfortably while playing, and the spikiness doesn't get in the way at all,and looks pretty awesome, while I honestly cannot find Agathis wood on any guitar wood chart to find out if it's any good or not,it's been pretty good to me so far,and again, quite durable.

Playability:10/10 -It's not at all a bad guitar,it stays in tune for a good forever,it has nice wide frets, and you can get up in the higher frets without a problem.
I've been a little sick,I think something's going around 'cause I'm seeing a lot of other people posting about being sick on their blogs as well. On top of being sick I'm desperately trying to find work. It's just all slowing me down.
Here's another little Something to hold you over until then.
Antics comics,written/drawn/whatevered by Stephen Gillan,is another randomish webcomics kind of like Bug,except Antics is much more 'out there' and is seen more from the 3rd person as Bug often tells you the story directly, and has real life situations.
What is Machinima you might be asking? Well,if you've ever seen Red Vs. Blue,or the Team Fortress 2 Character introduction videos, that's basically the idea,it's kind of like cartoons mainly made by fans, starring video game characters, generally seen through actual gameplay,or something like Garry's Mod.

It might start off a little slow, but really, keep with it,it gets almost unbearably awesome later on,though keep in mind Ross Scott doesn't spend much time on the internet, and new episodes are few and very far between.
It's a rather old game, but anyone looking for a good indulgent RPG should give it a try.

Now,I'm sure some of you today have played the second game,Bloodlines, which runs on Valve's Source Engine, but this is a different game entirely. Developed by Nihilistic Software, and Published by Activision, this game brings to life the pen and paper game of the same name, and it does it's job well,it was released in June of 2000,and looks quite nice. The characters clearly have lots of time and thought put into them, each one has their own story,a variety of skills and spells, several costumes depending on the armor you equip them with, and BOOKS of dialogue, throughout which you'll have to make many decisions, some of which affect the outcome of the game heavily, whether or not you decide to go somewhere or do something can make it so something else does/doesn't happen in the future. As per gameplay, calling it Diablo-esque would be unfair, because whenever you see a game like this you immediately think of Diablo,so I'm taking it somewhere else. Now I haven't played Dragon Age:Origins yet,but I've seen some of it on Youtube, and from what i've seen, these 2 games are very similar.

You begin the game as Christof Romuald,Frenchman,Holy Warrior, truely a man of god.

You'll recognize him by his trademark tabard, later, his leather jacket.

In the opening cinematic you'll see Sir Christof amidst a grand battle being held against what I can only describe as some odd looking vikings,as Christof is struck with an arrow and blacks out. When next he awakes he lays sleeping within a convent of nuns in the city of Prague.

Enter Anezka, she hath nursed thee back to health after thy swordbrethren had left thee here to recover, and during his time here in Prague,Christof grows to find Anezka "The fairest of all God's creatures." In today's English,he's in love with her,but the Archbishop will do what he can to stray you from that path, for monsters hath invaded the city, and as such a noble warrior, you're given the task of venturing into the Silver Mines east of the city, and basically killing anything and everything you find,be it giant rats, these weird little monsters called Szlachta, and once you reach the end of these Silver Mines, you meet Ahzra The Unliving,a Tzimisce vampire that's the one behind all these monsters and attacks upon the town. Defeat her (Tip,you'll collect a lot of Holy Water in the mines, throw them at her! :D),and return to town.

After being sent on a couple more little tasks around town by the Archbishop in an attempt to keep you separated from dear Anezka,as he wants her for himself,as you'll see him slip up once or twice in the midst of an argument with Christof, you meet a vampire by the name of Ecaterina The Wise,of the Brujah clan, who actually embraces (Turns) Christof. (Surprise!)

Christof soon awakens in the University actually right next door to the Convent, and he is informed of his new unlife by Ecaterina, the Vampire who had just turned him,and her first mate Cosmas,as a Paladin of sorts, this news is devastating,as he curses himself, his fate, and his god, throwing his treasured cross away from himself,he is then left alone to rest and think about what his next course of action shall be,and how he will find a way to be one with his Anezka once more.

He awakens the next morning and is to undergo training to learn of his vampire powers and newly found strengths, but Wilhem Striecher, your new best friend, opts to take you through a mission of his own as training,as he will need the help, and it would be a great way for you to get up on your feet,as you are a warrior, not a scholar. Wilhem's task that you're joining him with,is to storm another vampire's home and find something that had been stolen,a segment of the book of Nod,these other vampires are of the Cappadocian Clan, allies of the Brujah, they would have no reason to steal, but Ecaterina seems to think Garinol is behind it,the leader of the Cappadocians. Do yourself a favor and bring a handful of Awaken scrolls, because if you're new to this game, getting used to controlling multiple characters at once might take some getting used to. Also, new variables join the mix, such as the Blood meter, which is basically your Mana bar,you spend blood to use spells, and regain it by biting on people and sucking out their blood,as a vampire should. (: You're also given a "Frenzy" meter,I honestly don't know what makes this meter go up,but your job is to keep it down,by means of your Blood Healing spell,Quell The Beast spell, and so on,because if this meter fills up,you lose control of your character and he starts attacking your other characters! The way this generally works is one character goes into a frenzy, bites another and immobilizes them,so while this character is sucking the blood and slowly killing another, every enemy you're fighting will attack your 3rd and or 4th character, and as the game goes on,the monsters will of course grow stronger and stronger, and being 2 men down will put you at a great disadvantage. So keep that meter down!

Well,I think this is where I'll put a stop to it. I'm not looking to do a complete walkthrough,I'm just looking to give you the basic overview and maybe a little taste. ^^ I heavily recommend this game,it's like 11 years old,so I'm sure you can find it somewhere for cheap. RPG lovers and Diablo fans won't be able to put it down. And don't worry,Christof and Wilhem are definitely not your only 2 characters, you make and lose many friends throughout the course of the story. (:

Overall Rating:8 fangs out of 10.

Story:5/5 The story is incredibly involving and keeps you killing to find out what happens next.

Gameplay:4/5 Sometimes the game acts stupid and your AI characters will get caught on things and that'll slow you down/cause you to take some unneccessary damage/so on.

Graphics:4/5 Looked amazing back then, but today might seem a little lacking to those that've played games like Crysis.

In this blog,I'd just like to tell you all about my life interests, and share interests with other people that may read this blog. I'm open to criticism, advice,or just tell me your own stories.

It begins with the fact that I grew up poor in several ghettos in a big city,so I didn't have much, but what I did have I was grateful for. I'm one of those people that try my best to be happy with what little I have because I could very well not even have that much. I,like most boys, grew up heavily invested in video games, they were my best friends because I was always the fat kid,and it was very hard to make friends. >.< As a little one,my best friends were games like Pokemon,Final Fantasy,Dragon Quest, and such. All the big name games like that, because I didn't really have the money to get games that I didn't know were good, and was afraid of not liking a game, thus wasting money I barely even had.

I had a mess of a PC growing up as well,my Father was big on computers and knew how to get things of the sort cheaper,or possibly for trade and such. But again,I was rather limited to games such as Half Life and Diablo. Oddly enough,I'm absolutely in love with video games, but often don't finish them,I would get close to the end of the game, then for whatever reason, lose interest, start playing something else, and forget all about it,an issue I am currently trying to overcome. Nowadays, about 10 years later,I'm an aspiring Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer,I play a much wider range of games, though still horribly limited due to the crappy Dell I've had the last 5 years or so,though I did get the chance to play through Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 while living in Arizona for a year with my Father recently. I also got into Team Fortress 2,picked up on the electric guitar, the only one I currently own is a beat up B.C. Rich Warlock Bronze Series, but I'm looking to replace her one day with a nice Ibanez of some kind,I'm interested in the RG series.

I was also very interested in music growing up,and still listen to some of the same bands today, such as KoRn,System of A Down, and Yngwie Malmsteen. I honestly wish I had picked up the guitar much sooner, but I'd always been afraid of not being very good at it,watching Yngwie Malmsteen was quite discouraging, because every time I'd watch him I'd think of how I'd never be that fast,or that good, but today I'm giving it a shot. I've gotten past a lot of my childhood modes of thinking, about how I'd never be able to do something like that,or spending money,I've given myself more of an "At least I can say I tried" attitude.

It is a new day,and I'm doing my best at everything, this world shall not break me,I have simple dreams and I will not be denied them. Anything can be accomplished with hard work and determination, and as lame as this is sounding,it's absolutely true. Well that's me to begin with, but now I'd like to hear about you. Tell me how you grew up,what you're interested in,what your goals in life are,if you're unhappy with life and why, maybe I,or someone else in the comments can help point you towards a solution.
