I live in the US so I know the drill regarding how we handle the racy stuff. And yes, I also enjoy that pattern! Ha But this would be my first foray into BL Western-style so that will be interesting. lol And yes, I look forward to witnessing Connor Storrie’s Russian accent!

Heated Rivalry is the opposite of a K-drama, in that the characters fool around first and fall in love afterward. I happen to enjoy that pattern! But if what you like in a K-drama is the very slow burn, people feeling all kinds of ways from holding hands, etc. then this might be a shock. I really liked the show overall–it’s so impressive how an actor from Texas could learn to speak Russian for a role.

Cafe Minamdang was a good story and SIG and shaman friends were ridiculously funny and earnest in the best way. Show was completely ruined by the FL who was awful and badly miscast.

TMI was a star this episode. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA I love him.

It was really nice to see Dong Hyun use Sung Jae’s gift! And his bond with Gwan Cheol was cute too.

Btw, I’m low-key offended that even when Ye Rin proves again and again that she’s Sung Jae’s #1 defender, the guy doesn’t even have her in his radar. I was expecting her to become a comrade but I guess we’re moving on?

I don’t really care about Sung Jae cooking for those officials. I’m happy that he learned a lot from this experience but everytime those useless guys call him to cook for them I roll my eyes.

People should be cooking for my girl Ye Rin. She should be running that place and getting everyone’s respect. The fact that they try so hard to put her down just shows that they’re genuinely intimidated by her. They know she’s THAT good and competent and smart and strong and that terrifies them. What a bunch of cowards.
I feel so bad that she practically has no one on her side… At least Sung Jae should cook for her to give her some motivation and comfort, right? Nope. Bro doesn’t even appreciate what she does. That makes me so sad.
Kanglim doesn’t deserve Ye Rin.
