Ma'ot Chitim – "Wheat Money"

In the opening paragraph of the Haggadah recited at the Seder, we declare: "All who are hungry, let them come and eat." Our nation is a singular entity, and in order to experience freedom ourselves, we must also ensure that our brothers and sisters have the means to celebrate freedom too.

In reality, however, most of the people who are hungry will not be standing in our dining rooms as we begin our Seder, waiting for the invitation. As such, in preparation for the Passover holiday, it is age-old Jewish tradition to contribute generously towards funds that ensure that indeed everyone who is in need has the necessary provisions for the holiday—food, wine, matzah, festive clothing, etc. This special Passover fund, originally intended to provide the poor with matzah, is known as maot chitim, "the wheat fund," or kimcha d'pischa, "Passover flour."

The collection of ma'ot chitim begins thirty days prior to the holiday, and the funds are distributed the Shabbat preceding the holiday. If one has not yet given by then, one should anyways give. And when you help others to celebrate a joyous holiday, G‑d will certainly reciprocate in kind, and grant you and yours a happy and kosher, a meaningful and liberating Passover holiday!

Blessings for Abundance for Passover

A tremendous Segula for Passover from the Kozhnitzer Maggid, zsk'l, for Passover housework to be a breeze and also a blessing of abundance for the holiday. He revealed three well-known stories related to Pesach and following 3 stories should be said on כ"א אדר the 21st of Adar (March 9 2018 Thursday) the passing date of Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk זי"ע. 1. There was poor Jew that that found himself before Pesach without a penny, he wrote a letter to the Almighty and placed the letter in the forest by a tree trunk. The next day the king of the country appeared with a group of hunters and the king noticed the letter, when he saw it was written in honor of the king he thought it was addressed to him. The king sent a large sum of money to the Jew according to the inscription of the letter and the poor man had a great deal of money for the Passover holiday. As the Creator of the world helped the poor, so too He will help us.

2. A certain Jew was selling wine before Pesach to provide for the upcoming holiday expenses. He went from country to country, but at one border, the guards seized his barrel, since he lacked the proper licenses. The Jew quickly traveled to the Rebbe Reb Noam Elimelech of Lizhensk, (aka Reb Meilech) and told him the problem. Reb Meilech told him to tell the guards to taste the contents of the barrel; that it was only water. The Jew did as the Rebbe had told him and the border officials were surprised to find that the Jew was telling the truth! They returned the barrel to him, but then he went back to the Rebbe, crying:"Now how can I provide for my family for the holiday? The barrel of wine was my only way of earning a livelihood and now it's full of water!" Reb Meilech told him to taste the contents of the barrel. To his delight, it was full of wine once again! And the Jew had all the necessities for Pesach in abundance and iy'h us too!

3. There was a certain Jew who worked hard for his landlord, the Poritz. One day the Poritz said, "It's lucky for you that I support you. Otherwise, you would starve!" In his simple faith, the Jew answered, "What are you saying? There's a G-d in Heaven and He provides for all His creatures. If the Poritz won't serve as G-d's agent, G-d will find me another." The Poritz angrily banished the Jew from his property. This occurred right before Pesach. This poor Jew now had no money to buy the necessary provisions.The Poritz had a huge treasury where he kept all his gold. He would go in from time to time to count and polish his coins. He would spit on each coin and then polish it till it shone. The Poritz' pet monkey would go with him into the treasury and watch him. He saw his master put the coins close to his mouth; he thought that the Poritz was eating the coins! Monkey see, monkey do. The monkey copied his master and feasted on the gold coins. The monkey ate so many coins that it died. When the Poritz came into his treasury and saw the dead monkey, he didn’t realize the cause of its death. His anger had not abated, and he commanded his servant to throw the monkey into the Jew's house, to teach him a lesson. "If I don't provide for him, no one will!" The servant threw the monkey in through the window. When it landed, its stomach burst and all the gold coins came pouring out. Then the Jew was able to buy an abundance of provisions for Pesach.

On the seder night, the Poritz sent his servant to see how the Jew was suffering without food. But the servant reported that the Jew's house was full of food and drink. The Poritz later sent for the Jew and asked him from where he'd had money. The Jew told the Poritz how someone had thrown a dead monkey into his house and that hundreds of gold coins had burst from it. The Poritz then admitted, "Now I truly see that Hashem provides for us all." And the Jew had all the necessities for Pesach in abundance. In the same way HaShem helped the Jew, HaShem will help us all to have plentiful materialistic and spritual.

On the Shabbat of the blessing of Chodesh Nissan (March 10, 2018) again tell the stories in the same order however story number changes as follows:

2. A rich Jew used to invite every year lots of guests for the Passover Seder. Unfortunately, the wheel turned and he became a very poor man. As the days of Pesach approached he and his wife were very gloomy. Suddenly he heard from a proclamation from the king's court. The announcement said that a ring had been lost from the king's treasure and whoever finds it will receive a big reward. The Jew jumped for joy and ran to the king's room and suggested to the king that he be given half of the prize money so that he could search for the ring. The king gave him half the sum and with that money the Jew prepared generously for the Passover Seder and invited lots of guests as always. On the night of Passover, one of the officers told the king that the Jew is not searching for the ring. The king and the ministers came to his house and peered through the window to verify the officer's words. To the king's surprise, he saw a lighted house with great splendor and a Shulchan Aruch, and everyone singing "Dayenu". The king turned to the ministers and said, "The Jew revealed the name of the person that stole the ring. One of the ministers was named Dayenu. The king arrested the minister and searched his house and found his ring. The king was so happy and completed the amount of the reward to the Jew after Passover. Just as a Jew was able to celebrate Passover like a king, so will the Creator help us also.

If I Forget You Jerusalem

Since making Aliya to Israel in 2009 we begun a small group of 15 young children saying Tehillim on Shabbat. B'h, the group grew in a course of 8 years to 22 groups with over 1,000 children and as an incentive for the cute kids, we give them snacks and gifts. We had a wonderful sponsor who donated every week and in return, all the children's Tehillim was for the benefactor's benefit whose life changed immensely; he got married to a Jewish wonderful woman and had kids and his business is booming, b'h.

We want the children's Tehillim program in Jerusalem to continue growing and give YOU the opportunity to sponsor. In return, the children of Jerusalem will be saying Tehillim on Shabbat for your benefit.

Chilling Testimony: Redemption

Chilling testimony: A 15 year old boy who experienced clinical death few days ago reveals we are in the course of Gog and Magog and the redemption.

The name of the boy is Nathan whom recently experienced clinical death. Nathan is a regular Israeli 15 year old teenager from a secular background and never learnt in Yeshiva. He was clueless about the most simple Jewish things such as Tzizit. Nonetheless he describes from his experience exactly as is written by the prophets and in the holy books regarding the end of days. After his near death experience, he went to a Rav and told him his frightening experience and asked him for a Kipa and Tzizit.

The young man was referred to HaRav Rami Levi Shlita and was asked to describe what he experienced. Nathan told the Rav he saw the entire process of the "Gog and Magog" war and the redemption. The following are some of the things he said regarding the near redemption (he explained he saw it on a gigantic movie screen in heaven):

The beginning of Gog U'Magog began three days before the Rosh HaShana, September 11, 2015 or lunar calender 27 Elul 5775.
One of these days, there will be a security breach that will cause riots to erupt leading to severe civil unrest. This will burst into a war and will be all over the news internationally. Everyone will know and understand it. **
Israel will not yet be involved.

This will cause the world to unite against Israel and come fight us.

The war will begin by Gog ... Obama is Gog and he will fight us.

After the first 2 days of war in Israel, Israel Defense Force (Tzahal) will be abolished and the nations of the world will enter Israel.

People will be killed as well as kidnapped. It will be total chaos.

An atom bomb will be aimed at Israel and HKB'H will freeze it in midair. After a few weeks, it will land in Tel Aviv and Haifa.

They will capture Israel and enter Jerusalem.

The entire war will take 2 weeks and millions will perish.

To be saved we need to do Teshuva and learn Torah. Only true servants of HaShem will remain alive.

The Moshiach is among us (living in Israel) and many know him, but did not know he is the Moshiach. When he will be discovered everyone will be surprised. He's a popular Baal Teshuva that does kiruv work.

After the war, building of the Temple will be built followed by resurrection

We will be able to see the patriarchs, Moshe Rabenu, and all the saints only from a distance because of their divine

Graves will open and the resurrected will come out of their grave wearing beautiful clothes
Mount of Olives will split into two and all who remained alive will see Moshiach.
It's a matter of months till the final redemption.

זכריה יד ד: ועמדו רגליו ביום ההוא על הר הזתים אשר על פני ירושלם מקדם ונבקע הר הזיתים

Zechariah 14: 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two

Moshiach will stand in the entrance of the Mount of Olives and thru smell, will decide who will enter the Mount of Olives.

ישעיהו יא ג: וַהֲרִיחוֹ בְּיִרְאַת יְהוָה וְלֹא לְמַרְאֵה עֵינָיו יִשְׁפּוֹט וְלֹא לְמִשְׁמַע אָזְנָיו יוֹכִיחַ.

Isaiah - Chapter 11:[3] And he shall be filled with the spirit of the fear of the Lord. He shall not judge according to the sight of the eyes, nor reprove according to the hearing of the ears.

Moshiach will fight Obama and will bury him in Eretz Israel.

Ezekiel - Chapter 39 11And it shall come to pass on that day that I will give Gog a place there as a grave in Israel

HKB'H will be revealed dressed in a white robe with blood stains from the blood of the Jews who were prosecuted because of their religion.

Tunnels - Footsteps of Moshiach

Looking back at it, it's mind-boggling to actually see that the Rav was able to foresee 7 years earlier what is happening today in Israel "Edge of Protection" ...

"Our enemy neighbors are working full time, nonstop day and nite, for many years. They want us to be asleep, to be busy with politics and scandals so they can prepare the 'final solution'. Those that want to continue sleeping, sleep. But know, it's only a small break till the next war.

They have collected so many weapons for the next war. They are prepared to war from the ground (tunnels), air, and water. They are now in the tunnels, and it could be till Tel Aviv. In the next war, it is IMPOSSIBLE for us to win naturally.

Am Israel is in a very dangerous position. The arabs have much help from the nations of the world. We see how cruel they are even against their own brothers (Hamas vs. Fatah).

The enemies are digging tunnels underground that can reach till Tel Aviv. But we are asleep and this is their intention.

The Torah of Israel and Moshe Rabenu is real and authentic

On That Day 5775

It's been a loooooooong time since I had dreams. Since I made Aliya in 2009 it seems I'm living the dream and no need to dream about it. Last night was Friday night and I'm not sure if it I dreamed it or received it in a message but that's not important. The important thing is the message of the dream.

It says that on the day of redemption...
היה השם למלך על כל הארץ, ביום ההוא יהיה השם אחד
HaShem will be King on the entire earth, on that day HaShem will be one ביום ההוא

On that day... When will that day arrive???? That's everyone's question! The answer I received to that question is ביום ההוא is in gematria 75 but how does that connect to the redemption??? And that's when I realized we are in the year 5774 and next year which is less than 3 months away is the year 5775 - and that will be the day ביום ההוא יהיה השם אחד

Protecting Edge to Redemption

It's been a loooooong time since I last blogged but I saw something over at Yeranen Yaakov in the article Rav Fish's latest and couldn't ignore it without publicly commenting on it. The article says Rav Fish Shlita heard in the name of a great Tzaddik of the Gedolei Yisrael Shlit"a:

The battle that began during these days in Gaza will not cease before World War 3 will develop from it. World War 3 is the terrifying Gog Umagog War that all the prophets prophesied about, through which in the process, the King Mashiah will be revealed and he will redeem us as an eternal redemption.

Anyone I spoke with feels the same that the war צוק איתן Protective Edge is not just another passing thing and afterwards life will return to regular - our prayers are that from this war the redemption process will sprout.

In connection to the war, redemption, and Moshiach, I remembered seeing a video of the Lubavitch Rebbe zsk'l telling Bibi in 1990 (today Israel's Prime Minister) many things have progressed but what hasn't changed, however, is that Moshiach hasn't come. The Rebbe tells Bibi "there are still a few hours left in the day, so try to bring him today!". The Rebbe told Bibi Netanyahu 24 years ago who at the time was a mere Knesset member that he has power to hasten the Moshiach's arrival and today we see that this prophecy is coming to fruition.

Shabbat Shira Shalom

This Shabbat, Parshat Beshalach, is notable for many things. It is one of the few throughout the year that is given a special name. Parshat Beshalach is called Shabbat Shira (the Shabbat of Song), commemorating the glorious and awe-inspiring event when, after the miraculous deliverance from the Egyptians at the Red Sea, the children of Israel simultaneously burst forth into a song of praise to Hashem.

In the Haftara, we read Shirat Devorah. In both the Parasha and the Haftarah, women play a prominent role. “Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aharon, took her drum in her hand and all the women went forth after her with drums and with dances.” (Shemot 15:20). The victory related in the Haftarah takes place under the leadership of Devorah HaNevia, a'h, and it is into “the hands of a woman” (Shoftim 4:9), Yael, a'h, that Hashem delivers the General Sisra. After the victory against Sisra, Prophet Devorah leads the nation in a song of praise to HKB'H. This song outlines the recurring theme in the history of Israel: Oppression -- Repentance -- Victory.

Chasdei HaShem, with much gratitute to HKB'H, we will be making a Seduat Kiddush in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a'h, on Shabbat Parshat Beshalach, when Shirat Devorah is said in every shul, every city, every state, and every country, world-wide.

We are calling upon you to make an effort to make a kiddush in your shul in honor of Devorah HaNevia, a’h.

First Story

At the beginning of WWII, when the truth about the fate of the Jewish people was discovered, and when there were still ways to save them, a few hundred rich Jews bought a ship in order to get their families on board and escape to America. But they needed visas, so they approached the American Ambassador in London. It was not difficult for him, but he utterly refused. The Jews, in order to save their families, went without the visas.

When the Ambassador found out about it, he contacted Washington, advising them that a ship with illegal immigrants is approaching America. The Jews managed to overcome the horrors of war and reach America, but were not permitted into America. These unlucky people were ordered to turn around and return to burning Europe. and all burnt in the camps.

When the tragedy was revealed, the Rabbi of London came to the American Ambassador and said: "Your deeds do not befit not only your post, but you are not fit to be called 'a human'. And now, since you caused hundreds of people's death, YOU AND ALL YOUR DESCENDANTS generations down from now on will be cursed!"

The name of the American Ambassador was KENNEDY.

Second Story

Again, WWII. Lithuania. The Japanese Ambassador, who was a compassionate and noble person, disagreed with the Nazi crimes, and was concerned with the future of the European Jewry. He used his status and provided them with visas to Japan. From Japan they immigrated to America. Thus he saved the lives of thousands of Jews.

When the Germans found out they demanded that the Ambassador will be removed. The Japanese, allies of the Nazis, followed the request. But he still had 2 weeks until his return, and he used these 2 weeks, and worked around the clock, days and nights, and recruited people to help him issue more visas. The lives of many more Jews were saved this way.

This was a very dangerous act, deserving of admiration.

Prior to his leaving a mission of Jews from the Vilna Synagogue came to thank him.

"What you have done for the Jewish People will never be forgotten, and we will pray to God to bless you and your descendants."

This wonderful person returned to Japan, and miraculously all his punishment was that he was fired and lost his pension.

In order to help his family he started a small workshop.

His name was Mitsubishi.

I have many dreams that are linked to one another and each has its own headings. Please take note that these dreams are very explicit and difficult to read. However, I feel a sense of urgency to post them especially for American Jews. The dreams are as follows:

NYC GETS NUKED?
I received a dream several months ago about impending danger coming to New York City. I dreamt that a guy was being interviewed by a news station that wanted him to compare an event that just occurred to that of what took place on 9/11. I remember feeling the ambiance of the place as being very dark. The news room was moved to a very small room and not located in a normal newsroom as we generally see on television. He was sharing on video that “9/11 pales in comparison to what just happened. New York City or central Manhattan was detonated by a nuclear bomb leaving thousands upon thousands dead.” This also resulted in complete chaos and complete civil unrest causing gangs to kill others by the masses. There will be no food coming to New York City; so many people will begin to starve. This will lead the Goyim to go insane and will cause them to blame the Jews for this incident. They will go after the Jews and kill and maim them alive. Hashem told me this will happen in about a year to three years from now (give or take). The Jews of New York should LEAVE before they are suddenly killed by helter skelter gangs. I urge anyone reading this to warn the Jews to make aliya as soon as possible. You are safer in Israel than in America.

WORLD WAR THREE IS COMING SOON
I received a dream by Hashem that the United States is in the middle of a war. There are many military tanks on the ground patrolling areas in order to control the civil unrest of the American people. There are many civilians fleeing for safety; however, there are others caught up in the terror attacks. I saw missiles from Russia and China exploding on the ground killing countless civilians. I remember Hashem’s audible voice saying that the war is because there are so many Jews in America who are assimilated, so He maintains that the coming World War III will be the direct result of Jews becoming “Reform” and abandoning G-d’s Torah in favor of assimilating into gentile society. I hope this is a wake-up call for the Jews to fulfill their mission in this world, which is to be a “light unto the nations”. Are you ready to make aliya? Jews will be protected in Israel, but not in the United States. I urge any Jew to make aliya

NOW GREAT VIOLENCE AND DEPRESSION ARE COMING TO AMERICA DUE TO FAMINE AND INFLATION
I had many dreams in which there were severe food shortages in the stores, which led people to use violence against one another to buy what they could find. This meant the use of knives and weapons to threaten others. I saw that food was exorbitantly overpriced and you were getting substantially smaller portions. I remember getting a small plate of food that was of very poor quality for $150.00. That just represents how expensive it was to buy food at the time. People were looting and stealing from stores and even stealing from food trucks that the government had to put in place guards to prevent such theft.

BANKRUPTCY OF AMERICA LEADS TO INSANE CANNIBALISM
I dreamt a very horrible and vivid dream that needs to be shared. Hashem showed me that once America goes bankrupt, everyone will go insane about not having any money. Their blood will boil with pure hatred and rage and will accuse all the Jews for having caused this economic crisis. People will go from house to house and especially to the Jews, because people will believe the Jews have all of the money, which is not true. If they find any valuable possessions, they will torture and maim the Jew alive. Also, I saw mobs of people roaming the streets and going after the rich. The very poor felt they were entitled to the possessions belonging to the rich and ended up burning villages and houses to a crisp. With no money, people will begin to starve and soon they will start killing people in order to stay alive. I saw gruesome scenes, in which Jews were being killed and used as sacrifices for meat offerings. I know it is really hard to take in, but I have to say this is the truth and you need to warn any Jew you come into contact with the great urgency of making aliya to Israel.

AMERICA WILL TURN INTO A GOVERNMENT POLICE STATE RUN BY POLICE NEO-NAZIS
I saw many American policemen taking over the United States. I saw a scenario being played out and it looked as if the policemen were secretly neo-Nazis and portraying Jews as criminals when they really were innocent. I saw that the police was behind the rising anti-Semitism taking place in the United States. They were just brutal against any Jew they came across meaning they would beat them mercilessly, curse them and even rape the women.

THE BUILDING OF CONCENTRATION CAMPS IN AMERICA
I dreamt a very vivid dream, in which I was in my spirit and saw the building of concentration camps throughout the United States. I saw the military building them in order to reduce the population size. The military and government personnel were discussing that the Jews were their prime target and will “repeat history like the Holocaust during World War II only this time it will be a lot worse”. I saw they issued a decree to kill all the Jewish children, so there will definitely be no children survivors. Then my dream ended.

RIOTS COMING TO AMERICA
I have had several dreams about riots erupting all over America leading to severe civil unrest. In my dreams, there were multitudes of youth roaming the streets, because there was no electricity. I saw they were imitating what they have seen on television and in their video games by virtue of lighting on fire towns, including buildings and houses. They were also stealing, looting all over town and fighting the police. I saw that this catastrophe (lack of a normal routine with no electricity and commerce) will bring out the worst in people. People we have never imagined committing violent acts or breaking the law will suddenly commit them out of a fear of not surviving.

Comments: I understand that it is hard to read these things but feel very strongly that the Jewish public needs to read it. Even if a very few read this and make the move to Israel then B"H, my job is done. I just hope more Jews heed to these warnings.

Improper Speech Creates Hurricanes?!

The Ben Yehoyada explains that hurricanes are created by loshon hora. The following is a short synopsis. See below for the original.

The connection between hurricanes and the sanctity of speech can be seen in the pasuk in Amos (4:13) which says “Hashem creates mountains and storms to teach a person what he has spoken.”

The posuk starts with Hashem creating mountains and ends with mentioning the speech of man.

Why?

Hashem created giant mountains whose sole purpose is to diminish the winds of His great storms. Without those mountains, chas v’shalom, when hurricanes strike they would totally destroy all buildings and houses. Instead Hashem first sends the winds to strike the mountains, which diminish their great strength, before “allowing” them to strike places where people live.

But why, asks the Ben Yehoyada, is there a need for such great hurricane winds in the first place?

He answers “Hurricanes are created by the aveira of improper speech, loshon hora.”

The Ben Yehoyada teaches us that after witnessing a great hurricane, every person should learn great musar from it, to guard themselves from the sin of improper speech.

Chasdei shamayim I found 2 beautiful segulot which I can personally testify I saw amazing salvation and wanted to share with you, as follows:

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Merimanovben Yosef, zs'kl, promises:
"Whomever will light a candle in my honor every Tuesday, I will personally operate for his salvation"It is a great talisman for salvation in all areas, miracles and wonders, to light a candle in honor of the Tzaddik every Tuesday. Rabbi Meir Abuhatzera, zs'kl, said: "Just to mention the name of the Tzaddik already operates salvation."

The second talisman is lighting candles for Rabbi Matya ben Charash, zs'kl.

THE FOLLOWING STORY HAPPENED TO RABBI MATYA BEN CHARASH WHO WOULD ALWAYS BE SITTING IN THE BET HAMIDRASH ENGAGED IN TORAH STUDY AND THE BRILLIANCE OF HIS FACE RESEMBLED THE SUN AND THE APPEARANCE OF HIS FACE RESEMBLED THAT OF THE MINISTERING ANGELS, BECAUSE HE HAD NEVER RAISED HIS EYES TO LOOK AT WOMEN.

Once the Satan fixed his sight on this Tzaddik and said to himself: "Is it possible that this man does not sin? " Then the Satan went and asked G-d: "How do you consider Rabbi Masya Ben Charash?" And G-d replied: "He is a perfect Tzaddik" The Satan said to G-d: "Give me permission to put him to the test". G-d told the Satan: "Go".

The Satan appeared to the Rabbi as a beautiful woman the like of which there had never been in the world. When the Tzaddik saw he immediately turned his face away from the woman. Then the woman quickly moved to the side where Rabbi Matya had turned his face to, and he quickly again turned his face away from that woman. Then the Tzaddik said: "I am afraid that my Yetzer hara (evil inclination) will overpower me and will cause me to sin". What did the Tzaddik do? He called a student that was there with him and ordered him to bring him fire with nails. The student brought him nails and the Tzaddik put them to his eyes and became blind. When the Satan saw this he trembled and fell on his back.

At that time The Holy One Blessed be He called the angel Raphael (for he is in charge of healing) and told him: "Go and heal Rabbi Matya Ben Charash". Then Raphael came in front of the Rabbi and he asked: "Who are you?" and he replied: "I am Raphael the angel, I came for G-d sent me to cure your eyes". And Rabbi Matya replied: "Leave me alone, what is already done is what will be". Raphael returned before the Holy One Blessed be He and said: "Master of the World, thus spoke Matya". G-d said to him: "Go back to him and tell him that I will personally guarantee that the Yetzer Hara will have no power over him". Immediately Raphael went and cured Matya. From here Our Sages said: "All those that are careful not to look at women, the Yetzer hara has no power over them".
