Karipap bought at Bazar Ramadan Seksyen 3 Bangi

Yesterday I bought karipap for my iftar at Bazar Ramadan Seksyen 3 Bangi.
The price was RM0.40
Size about 3 inches.
Looked thick.
But when I ate, almost 90% of it were flour.
The filling was very very little.
Frustrating!

Gone were the days of tembosa, epok2, tepung bawang and karipap where there's enough filling for each that ate.

Red velvet tak jadi

I did not check the oven when I put in the red velvet cake I made.
It was in a short while when I smell the cake.
Then I realised the tempreature was set only for the top part of the oven.
I changed to whole oven.
But it's not cooperating.
This morning I wanted to make new cake but I ended up decorating that red velvet cake.
It was a bit hard on the surface.
Hopefully it still taste ok.

My good friends gave me pre birthday treat @Grill Bangi today. Thank you uols!
The price is so-so, portion is a bit small.
Fine dining ke...got big tv screen huhu!

Pan seared Norweigen Salmon with garlic and parmesan cheese, potatao ..salad and lemon dill cream. (The salad is bitter! is it meant to be bitter, i dunno hehe)

I went again to @Grills the week after.

Such a disappointment when I tried the seafood platter.

My sister tried the meat platter was also disappointed.

At the price they are charging, the quality of food was lousy.

The seafood and meat were very dry.

The pasta was so hot as they put bird eyed chillies in it.

So overpowering hot that we can't even get the taste.

Their workers are mostly bangla and I wonder if they even trained them.

Similar to Laman Grill -makes me really wonder, how they can continue their business when such a basic thing as how the meat and seafood should be cooked they don't even know.

I do not know who owned @Grill but Laman Grill is owned by the trainer of MasterChef Malaysia.

And the lamb we ate there were tough!

I bet many new restaurant operating in Bangi served similar kind of food - so called Western cuisine but in drier and tough version huh!

Yet many came there to dine. I wonder if they returned after their first visit.

These restaurants have a lot to learn from Chillies and Ben's.

Lamb kuzi was nice!

Price was RM48.00 net per person.
Murtabak, kuzi kambing are nice.
Environment is also nice infront of golf field.
I guess with the kind of price, we can't complain much.

The filing is made of yam and chicken.

It was like a kenduri going on at Klana Resort Seremban. Many came with nice baju kurung, families, friends. Parking space was packed. We have to park far from the lobby.

We are placed in one of the seminar room, opened due to lack of space.

A bit far from the action, but Fara and Gmah don't have much problem to take food to and fro, from the meeting room to the banquet hall.

The price stated is RM69 net but there were service tax on my bill. But counting back, the charges is actually RM59.48 ++ hmm...

The restaurant is newly opened.
We called first before coming- there were 16 of us.
However, when we came, not all were ready.
Plus menu related to seafood is not available.
Service was not so good.
Guess being new is an excuse.
Fine dining.
