Hi everyone,

Things have been really hectic lately with my new online craft store (which is a good thing) & I haven't had much time to create any new projects. However, I have been dabbling in designing a mini album which I will be sharing with you in the next week or so.

I'm so excited to tell you that the Dreamtime Craft Supplies Inspirational Challenges will be starting on Tuesday 8th March :) I would love it if you were to come & join us :) It will be a lot of fun!

My Project Monday #2

It has been a great week so far! Mind you it's only Tuesday :)

We are supposed to be having rain all week so I think it's a great time to get some crafty things happening.

This year I have promised myself to get a lot of my un-finished projects completed as I have quite a few stored away that I have been meaning to finish. You can read more about it over at Dreamtime Craft Supplies blog.

I am going to take part in this weeks My Project Monday over at DCS by working on a project I started back in 2014! Yep, it was a while ago but I did put a lot of work into it before putting it away. I didn't finish it as I moved house that week.

I started making a little album. I wasn't too sure what I was going to do with it after putting it together but it was something completely out of my comfort zone & I had never created anything like this before. I was & still am quite happy with the way it turned out hence why I kept it in my cupboard & planned to complete it one day. Well, finally that day is here.

My Mum's birthday is in April & I would like to have it ready by then to give to her as a birthday present. She hasn't got a creative bone in her body nor the patience but she loves the projects that I design. Maybe one day she will sit down with me & try her hand at paper crafting. Hmmm probably not lol. One can only hope :)

I went through two boxes of old photos that I had stored in my wardrobe & wow, so many I threw out! Just ones that were way too blurry to rescue, scenic ones that I can't even remember where I took them & animal pics from Zoo's that we went to when the kids were young that simply have no relevance to us now & they are all probably dead by now anyway...horrible thought but more than likely true.

I remember when I first created the album that I had the intention of creating it with as many paper & embellishment scraps (which I call challenge pieces) as I could. For my challenge pieces I have three different containers full of odds & bobs that I feel could come in handy one day (more on that another time), so I dug through it & found a few pieces that I could possibly use on the first page of the album.

Hopefully, it will all come together nicely. Wish me luck :)

DCS: Show Us Saturday #1

Happy New Year to all of you :)

I hope you all had a fantastic time & enjoyed celebrations.

This last week has been quite hectic with trying to relax & enjoy the festive season with my family & friends but now that my business is up & running it's a bit hard to not think about all the things that need to be done. However, I tried my best with not touching my laptop :) Now I can get back into it again.

Last week I participated in the My Project Monday over at Dreamtime Craft Supplies blog & showed you that I was hopefully going to find the time to pretty up my planner pages. I am happy to say that I did actually do it.

I bought my planner last year but didn't get to use it much so I figured why not re-model it for 2016?!

I first needed to find a planner printable that co-ordinated with the planner page colours. Luckily, I found a blog called Laughing & Losing It where Christina has made this gorgeous hedgehog planner printable. I just had to have it in my planner :) Thanks so much Christina for making this available.

I have to admit that it took me a while to figure out what I was going to do to change the dates but after a little bit of thinking & looking at all those pretty planners on my Pinterest board, I came up with a solution.

I used my Little Lizzie font Die-Versions die to create the days & dates of the week & stuck everything down with Ranger Glossy Accents...wow, do you know how strong that stuff is as a glue? Talk about dry fast! lol

I only wrote in a few things on the planner pages that are in accordance to my business blog but I will write in all the other to-do items later. I just didn't want to bore you with my business stuff lol.

I had a good time putting together my planner pages & will definitely be doing it again. Even though this is the first time I have done this to any planner of mine, I am pretty happy with the outcome. It was good to finally get some time to get some crafting done even if it was to decorate a planner lol.

DCS: My Project Monday #1 - Pretty Planner

Now that it is coming up to the New Year I figured that I really should be using my Erin Condren Planner.

I did actually purchase it during this year but I never really got around to putting it to proper use. Therefore, I have decided not to purchase another one & to use the one I already have. However, due to the planner not having the correct corresponding days & dates of 2016 I really need to come up with a creative plan of how to make the planner work for me.

Even though I am incredibly run off my feet with my online paper craft store, Dreamtime Craft Supplies, I will definitely find time adjusting & decorating the planner my project for this week for DCS My Project Monday #1.

I intend to use the items in the pic to decorate the planner with & will share them with you in another post when it is complete. You know how it is, sometimes you plan to use products but when you actually get down to creating you end up using different items lol.

Hello Friends :)

Wow, it has been quite a while since I have been here.

My apologies for being away. Many of you probably thought that I wouldn't be back but as you know life tends to get in the way sometimes & we simply have little or no control over it. However, it feels great to be back :)

There are a few things that have changed since the last time I was here. Unfortunately, I am sorry to say that one of the changes was ending our Dreamtime Designs Craft Challenges. I knew that I would be away for a few months so I had to do the right thing by the Design Team & myself by closing the challenges. DDCC Challenge #3 EXTENDED!!

Wow, a new post each day for the last few days. Things are looking up lol.

Menu Board - My Besties Aussie Challenge

I decided to do something completely different.

But I of course needed to use a gorgeous Bestie first which you can find here.

Each peg has the day of the week on it & the labels have different meals printed on them. These can be moved around in accordance to when the meal is planned for the week.

There are spare labels in the pouch to write more meals on them.

There is a post-it note pad along with a pencil that can be used to write your shopping list in accordance to the meals planned for the week.

I had a lot of fun creating this menu board & I am definitely going to make more of them. Not only does it help organise meals for the week but it also looks great on the fridge :)

My Lightbox Tutorial - Challenge 2 @ DDCC

Dreamtime Designs Craft Challenge #2:

My Craft Room - Construct A Lightbox.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

This challenge is all about creating a lightbox which will enable you to take better photo's of your designs & / or projects. It will help you to eliminate items from the background & provide better lighting during your photo shoot.

* If you already have a lightbox that you have already created please try to remember how you put it together. Use photo's where you can & follow the challenge as much as possible. This applies even if you have purchased a store bought lightbox.

When you read the challenge description you will see how the challenge is to be set out like a tutorial while creating the lightbox. I am so excited to share my take on the challenge with you for a few reasons. This is my first attempt at a tutorial & I have been wanting to do one for some time but wan't quite sure what to base is around lol. Also, since starting my blog a few years ago I have had a lot of difficulty with photographing my designs & achieving the results I was hoping for.

My surroundings were always interfering & I was always having to move objects out of the way which was not only frustrating but also time consuming. However, now that I have created my lightbox I am so impressed with how easy it was to create & how much difference it has made to the photo's of my designs. The results are fantastic. The best thing of all it only cost me a few dollars to make :)

I am so happy that I am able to provide this tutorial so that it will give you some ideas of how you too can create one. Not only that, if you enter it into our challenge you could WIN $20 Cash! What a bonus! Remember though, you need to be in it to WIN it. Enter the challenge, have a lightbox at the end of it & also the chance to WIN some crafting cash :) Perfect :)

Challenge Part A:
Do some online research about creating a handmade lightbox & decide which design will better suit you & your needs.

I did a bit of research, gained a little bit of extra insight but mostly just created the lightbox in a more simplified Lisa way :) Many of the one's I looked at were quite different to what I wanted & needed.

Challenge Part B:
Create your lightbox taking step-by-step photo's as you go. Explain each step with how you are putting it together until you have completed your project.

I only moved house not that long ago & I decided to keep some of the boxes, just in case. I am so glad that I did! I grabbed the biggest box I had & knew it would be perfect for the lightbox that I wanted to create.

Although I had the box I couldn't work out what I was going to use for the inside. Cardstock, tissue paper, paint it? It only happened by chance when visiting my local hardware shop to get more hinges for my designs that I found exactly what I needed. Corflute. It was white, sturdy & perfect!

When I got home I gathered all of the supplies & materials that I would need to construct my lightbox.

Supplies Needed

1 Cardboard Box
1 Sheet of Corflute
Measuring Tape
A long ruler
Craft Glue
Pencil
Craft Knife

Step 1:
Decide on a cardboard box that you feel will be big enough to house your projects.

Step 2:

Cut off all side flaps with your cutting knife.

Once you have done that cut the front panel off too.

Your box should now look like this:

Step 3:

Measure up your corflute to the size of each side panel & the bottom of the box. When you are satisfied that you have it right, use your pencil & ruler to mark where you need to cut. Then cut the corflute in accordance to your sizing & markings.

Your box should now look something like this:

Step 4:

When you are very happy with the correct sizes of the panels & they fit properly, take your glue & adhere each panel to the box. I started with the bottom first, then the back & then the two sides.

Step 4:

I also used clothes pegs to hold the panels in place whilst drying. You could also put some books on the bottom panel too if you like just to give it that extra weight for the glue to bond better. I used magazines :)

Step 5:

When the glue has set & you are happy with stability of the insides, simply take off the pegs & remove your books (or magazines). Your lightbox is now complete :)

I generally take my photo's outside so I am not in any need of indoor lighting at this point in time. However, if I do end up adding lights etc, I will be sure to update this tutorial to let you know the changes I have made to my lightbox. Stay tuned :)

Challenge Part C:

1) Take a photo of one of your designs without the lightbox as you would have done before you created it. This is your 'before' photo.

2) Take another photo of the same design but this time inside your lightbox. This is your 'after' photo.

I had a great time putting the lightbox together & it has definately helped me in many ways. I no longer have to worry about my surroundings, what is in the way & what is in the background of the photo. All I have to do is grab the lightbox & take it outside to begin my photo shoot. The greatest thing I have found is that my pictures are a lot clearer & brighter. The lightbox creates the perfect white background for every single photo.

Tips & Tricks

- When storing your lightbox put a sheet over the top to prevent dust & dirt making marks on it.

- Store in a dry place to prevent the box from getting damp otherwise the box will become limp.

I am really looking forward to using my new lightbox from now on. I would greatly encourage you to try making your own as you will be amazed with the results. Come & join us in the challenge here.

This month we have a wonderful challenge for you. It is based around you, the Designer & the focus being on your craft room. We hope it will help many of you in regards to your photography environment when taking photo's of your gorgeous creations.

Dreamtime Designs Craft Challenge #2:

My Craft Room - Construct A Lightbox.

This challenge revolves around creating a lightbox which will enable you to take better photo's of your designs & / or projects. It will help you to eliminate items from the background & provide better lighting during your photo shoot.

Please note: The questions are to be included & are an important part of the challenge. They need to be added to your challenge blog post along with your answers.

Challenge Part A:

Do some online research about creating a handmade lightbox & decide which design will better suit you & your needs. Use your research as a guide / reference & remember to give credit (if needed) in your challenge post.

Challenge Part B:

Create your lightbox taking step-by-step photo's as you go. Remember to explain each step with how you are putting it together until you have completed your project. It would also be a good idea to include a list of the supplies you have used.

Challenge Part C:

1) Take a photo of one of your designs without the lightbox as you would have done before you created it. This is your 'before' photo.

2) Take another photo of the same design but this time inside your lightbox. This is your 'after' photo.

Challenge Part D:

Explain your experience including:

1) Has the lightbox helped you? If so, how?

Fairy Special Tabletop Decor - My Besties Aussie Challenge

I am going to the movies with my Daughter Zoe tonight to see Prisoners. It looks really good & we both can't wait to have some quality time together :)

This was my very first attempt at using embossing folders & oh wow...they are magical lol. I love how it turns out however I definitely need to learn more about how to use them & I will have to buy more lol.

Most of the papers I managed to use from my stash, my new Butterfly die from Joy Crafts & the Magnolia Doohickey Doily Flowers which hasn't seen the light of day for some time :) It was fun using the Frantage & yes, I'm still using the toaster lol. Christmas is coming ;)

I made this one into a tabletop decor design & it looks really pretty sitting on my desk at the moment until I get it into it's own packaging tomorrow :)

Aussie My Besties - Too Cute To Spook

Hello my lovelies :)

I really hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Zoe has had the last two weeks off due to school holidays but she will be going back on Tuesday. It has been wonderful having her at home but I just wish I was able to do something more special with her. I would really like to take her away for a weekend but it's just not possible right now. However we did go out for a little retail therapy together yesterday at Erina. We spent too much money but it was worth it. I got a few crafty bits & pieces for my new Smash Book (which will be having it's own blog post lol). Zoe got a few new clothes so she is happy :)

Today is the day for a new My Besties challenge.

This time the challenge is 'Too cute to spook'.

Due to DDCC going live with its first challenge just a few days ago (which you can find here) I have been inundated with heaps to do there & I only had a few hours in which to design something quick for the My Besties challenge. I went & ventured into my Pinterest boards to find some inspiration that would allow me to create something in a flash so it would be ready in time :)

I quickly coloured up my image (which I know isn't my best colouring) & began to create a cute little Post It Note Holder. This is the first time that I have tried my hand at this & I was amazed with how quickly it all came together.

All of the DP's are from my scrap stash which I am so glad that I was able to use. The flower buttons were also from my 'oldies' stash.

Of course I added some pearls :)

This design holds the post-it notes beautifully :)

I had a little bit of a hard time deciding which ribbon I should use & ended up settling on the gorgeous black one. This design measures 4 x 4 inches & easily fits into a handbag.

I'm thinking of creating one for myself so that I can use it for jotting down all my Smash Book ideas as I think of them. Then I can just simply stick the note onto my Smashie page & that way all my thoughts will be there ready & waiting for when it comes time to Smash the page properly :)

Very handy to have I reckon :)

Beach Life Tilda Design for Challenge #1 @ DDCC

Welcome to all my new followers & hello again to those that have come for another peek at what I am doing :) Thank you so much for coming to see me. I appreciate your support :)

Yesterday was the launch of Dreamtime Designs Craft Challenge :)

Have you seen the very first challenge yet? I hope you will give the challenge a go. It really isn't as hard as it may look & you will be amazed at how the 'pieces' seem to come together for you.

I have popped in today to share with you my take on the challenge as yesterday all the our fabulous Design Team ladies have had their challenge posted to their blogs & thought I had better show you mine lol.

I have left it till now due to it being a very big post yesterday & didn't want to give you too much in one day to read lol. See, how thoughtful I am? lol

Yesterday you would have seen my Dreamtime glimpse (or sneak peek as the ladies call it). I will show you the rest in just a sec but first I want to re-cap the challenge itself.

It looks quite daunting doesn't it? However, like I have suggested in the original challenge post here, if you break it down bit by bit you will find that the theme will come to you sooner than you think & you will be on your way to creating a wonderful project.

To help me create this design I recruited the help of the gorgeous Tilda :)

I haven't used Tilda much in my designs lately & due to the concept of my take on the challenge, this little cutie was perfect. Not only that, she has been hiding out in my craft studio for some time & it was fantastic to finally ink her up :) Do you like the Kookaburra? I have named him Cookie. More about him later :)

I used my Copics to add some colourful life to Tilda & Cookie.

The colours I have used are as follows (which are more than usual lol).

This is the first ocean & beach themed design I have ever done. So forgive me if it doesn't look too realistic lol. As you have seen, I used sooo many Copic Earthy colours to try & get the look of the sand right. My blender helped tone it down a little. I don't have many blue Copics so I tried the best I could with blending the ocean colours. I added the Frantage as an after-thought & it really helped me to give the 'surf' look to the waves. Well, I hope it does lol.

1) Where do you live?

If you haven't guessed yet, I live right next to the beach on the Central Coast of New South Wales in Australia. I am extremely lucky to have the option of a few beaches to go to that are within a 15 minute walk of each other. The sand is as golden as you can imagine & the ocean is ever so blue.

One of my DT friends (Roberta) challenged me to use cheese cloth on my design for this challenge. This is another item I have never used before. For some reason I felt really intimidated by it. Go figure lol. However, now I love it & want to use it as much as I can because it is so versatile. It can be easily manipulated to have it look exactly how you want it to. I love the effect it gives :)

2) What do you love the most about where you live?

I love the fact that I am very close to the beach which obviously gives the 'holiday' feel to the place. We have lot's of people that come here to visit from all different parts of the country & from all over the world.

There are quite a few hotels here, clubs, restaurants, cafes & the like. Nobody is in a hurry to get from A-B, there is no hustle & bustle which is something I totally love. There is a nice pleasant 'laid-back' feel to the place.

What I love the most is that if it get's too hot, we can just duck down to the beach to cool off & not only that, we sometimes have Christmas lunch on the beach too :)

I was originally born & bred in the the UK till I was 15 yrs old when I emigrated to Australia with my family. I am still a UK Citizen but an Australian resident. I love that I still have the English accent, proud to be English but extremely passionate & happy about living in our wonderful country Australia. I am very lucky. As far as I am concerned I have two places that I call home :)

I have used the colour combo of red, white & blue & the flags as the significance to this of both England & Australia.

The lace & the tulle I actually found in a thrift shop, washed it & added them to my tag. I put a string of rope pearls around the image, added some flat back pearls, frantage & a few charms that I have had sitting in my stash for quite some time. So glad I was able to finally use them :)

I decided to machine sew the design & managed to squeeze a doily in there lol. Do you like my little starfish charm? Soo cute.

The lace I picked up from the local shop. I just love it :)

Do you like my cute little bottle / jar that has the sand in it?

I specifically went to the beach to get the sand. I treated myself to a coffee while I was there. Actually I wrote one of my latest blog posts while I was sitting there enjoying my coffee & looking out to the ocean. I love it there. It's so peaceful :)

3) Who do you share this special place with?

It is just myself & my 13 yr old Daughter, Zoe that live at home together now.

My other two boys, Michael (24) & Cory (20) live with their partners not far from me.

Zoe & I love having our own little space together. She is at an age now where she loves having her friends sleepover so most weekends I am sharing my home with about three other teenage girls lol. The photo of her that you can see was taken quite a few years ago, but at that moment in time when I took the photo is very significant to us both :)

We also have a rabbit called Missy, who makes us laugh & smile all the time. She is sooo cute.

On a regular basis, we have Kookaburra's come & visit. They are my favourite Australian bird from the Kingfisher family. We often sit & watch them (they are always seen with their mate). They are very well known for their 'laugh' which can be quite loud at times but so unique. I love it.

4) What is your favourite season there & why?

Although Summer is wonderful here, sometimes it get's a little too hot for me. I don't like the heat past 35 degrees. It's ok when you have air conditioning but outside I burn very easily. So, I would have to say Spring is the season I love the most. Seeing all the new blooms, the warmer weather before it gets too hot. However, it is still hot enough to be able to go to the beach & watch Zoe go swimming in the surf :)

5) What is your most loved thing to do or place to visit & why?

Apart from spending time on the beach, I do love the coffee shop that they have there which is sitting almost right on the beach. They make lovely food there, sandwiches, burgers, hot chips etc.

The thing I love the most about it is being able to walk there whenever I want, go sit, order a Cappuccino & just take it all in. The sound of the surf, watching the waves, the sun glistening onto the gorgeous blue water, watching the children playing & swimming in the surf. Most of all, when I go there, it means I am having 'time out' for myself. A time for me to just sit there & be quiet. To observe & take it all in :) A time to relax. It is my happy spot :)

I must admit it took me some time to figure out all the sizing, measurements etc, but with the help & inspiration I received from Franz, I managed to pull it off. I originally saw the design that Franz had created here & instantly knew that I wanted to create one similar. Thank you so much Franz for the inspiration & all of your help. I appreciate it greatly.

Mine isn't exactly the same as I adjusted a few things here & there to make it 'my own' but I really love how it turned out. The thing I love most about it is that I can change the photo's whenever I like & put it in any room of the house I want to :)

I normally add all of my designs to Etsy but this time, I am keeping this one for myself :) It holds a lot of sentimental value to me in regards to our first challenge at DDCC & also the friendships I have formed with my friends who are in the DDCC Design Team :) Sshh, don't tell them though, it will go to their heads lol.

DDCC - Our First Challenge :)

Good morning my friends :)

Today is the official grand opening of

Dreamtime Designs Craft Challenge.

Myself & the Design Team are extremely excited that finally the day has come that I can tell you what our very first challenge is. Woo hoo! :)

I have promised you for the last few months that DDCC will be unique & our challenges will be unlike any other that you have come across. I still believe that this is true & I am going to deliver challenges that will hopefully make you step back & think. To give you the guidance & confidence to step outside of the circle & hopefully take you out of your comfort zone :) It wouldn't be a challenge otherwise, would it? :)

The 'About DDCC' page explains more about why we are here & why we are different to any other challenge blog. Please take the time to have a look now before you look at the first challenge. It will bring you one step closer to our concept & will lead you to the reason why our challenges are uniquely different. Myself & the Design Team truly hope you will love the concept of DDCC & what it represents as much as we do :)

Here at DDCC we will be challenging you to expand & enhance yourself on or to a Designer level. The challenges are & will be craft focused but they will be focused more on you as the Designer & your capabilities.

However, in saying that please do not think that you are 'not good enough' or 'not classed as a Designer' to enter our challenges. Maybe you have only been crafting for a small amount of time & don't feel confident enough or maybe you may feel uncomfortable with the projects that have already been entered into our challenge. Or maybe you will even feel intimidated by the actual challenge itself. Please don't feel this way.

Our challenges are not based on high level expertise, nor how long someone has been crafting. We open our arms & welcome absolute beginners to the more advanced crafters. We are all on different levels, have different techniques & even come from a different type of craft. We are all only limited by our own imagination & what we can learn from each other. This is exactly why our challenges are based around YOU, the Designer.

If you do feel intimidated by the challenge (which most of us at DDCC were lol), take the time to write the challenge down on a notepad, make a coffee, go sit in your favourite quiet place & just have some 'time out' to ponder over it for a while. Dissect each section, take it apart & then re-construct it to 'your way of thinking'.

Don't be surprised if your project idea doesn't come to you straight away. For some of us it took a few days :) However, eventually, you will be amazed at how an image will start forming in your mind with the project you would like to create that fits in with the challenge theme, perfectly :)

Now onto our very first challenge.

Create your design / project that reflects the questions above.

Take a photo or two of anything that relates to your above discussion so that they can be included in your challenge blog post.

How have you been today? What have you been up to?

Today, I have been getting a few things ready behind the scenes for the new

Dreamtime Designs Craft Challenge which takes place & officially opens in just two days time. Woo hoo :) It is so exciting :)

Aloha! I am Joanne and I am currently living in Phoenix, AZ.

I moved here from the Big Island of Hawaii to care for my elderly father. I miss my island terribly! I have a wonderful, handsome man named Paul, and we just celebrated our 27th anniversary on Sept. 6th – not bad huh?!

I started creating with paper 6 years ago. I wanted to make my own Christmas cards, and when I did, I was hooked! I mainly do cards, but also love to create all sorts of mixed media with paper, and a bit of scrapbooking. I try to make something every day because it keeps me sane! Really, it is the best therapy in the world and I am addicted!

I found out about Dreamtime Designs from the DT call. I was not selected at first, but then Lisa contacted me and I was overjoyed! I wanted to join the team as one of the others I am on is ending. I so enjoy the blog aspect of being on a DT. I have met so many wonderful, talented ladies from all over the world. Their work inspires my soul and I learn SO much!

I look forward to being on the Designettes team and making comments. It is VERY important to support those who take the time to create something special for our challenge. I have my own challenge blog (Chocolate, Coffee & Card Challenges) and I stress this to my DT!

I am looking forward to challenging myself at Dreamtime Designs. I am the kind of person who loves change and a challenge or I get restless! I can see that this is a perfect fit for me!

So far, I am overjoyed to be on this team, even if we haven't even posted our first challenge! Lisa did a fab job on setting it up! It is wonderfully different! I so enjoy learning from others and expanding my knowledge of our craft. I can see that this will happen here!

To all of you I will say, onward and upward with fun and new friends! Please teach me all that you can!

Introducing DDCC Designer Mikha :)

Hello my delightful friends.

What a beautiful day it has been. The sun has been shining bright so I thought it would be great to go to the beach & treat myself to a cappuccino at the coffee shop. So, that is what I am doing right now whilst writing this post.

Yesterday was an absolute shocker hot day here. The cold weather I think is a thing of the past right now as it was 34 degrees with boiling hot, strong winds. It was that hot that I even had to put the air conditioner on.

It totally took me by surprise when Zoe asked if she & my Niece, who stayed over, could bake a rainbow cake. It wasn't the fact that they wanted to cook, it was because I knew that the oven was going to be on & would add further heat to the house. So thank goodness I had the air con lol. Mind you the cake turned out like a flat rubber pancake lol. Oh well, they had fun which is the main thing :)

Wow! We only have three days left until the very first Dreamtime Designs Craft Challenge goes live :) It has been a massively busy month getting prepared for it & I still have heaps to do to get the blog ready in time.

It has been very eventful in our DT Facebook group but especially over the last week where nearly all of us have been concerned that we wouldn't get our first challenge projects completed in time. However, I am happy to say that we are all ready & waiting in anticipation & excitement to show you what we have accomplished with the challenge.

The funny thing is that even though all of the DT ladies have all finished their projects, it is our DT policy that all designers are not to show each other their completed projects in full. They are only able to show a sneak peek of it lol. Which means, even though they have seen the sneak peeks, it has lead to a more heightened anticipation because they all want to see more of what each other has done lol. However, they too have to wait till the challenge goes live here on my blog to see for themselves what their DT Sisters have accomplished.

The only person that has seen all of the completed projects in full is myself. This is due to the uniqueness & complexity of the challenge to ensure that the concept has been met & will be presented to you to enable the full impact of inspiration.

With myself being the only one that has seen all of the DT projects in it's full glory, let me tell you, I have picked the most excellent Design Team & group of glorious ladies ever. I am extremely thankful to them & let me assure you, their projects all have a different light on the first challenge & they are definitely worth the wait in gold to see :) You will not be disappointed in what they bring to the inspiration table nor will you be disappointed with the very first Dreamtime Designs Craft Challenge.

Now that I have given you an update on what we have been up to & what has been happening behind the scenes, I would like to introduce you to another wonderful lady in our Design Team.

I live in Surabaya, Indonesia. Surabaya is a hot city. Indonesia only has 2 climates, rainy season and dry season. And, seems Surabaya adapt the dry season well to create such a hot temperature.

I'm 22 years old this year and have just had my graduation ceremony. I live with my parents here, in a small house.

I've loved creating and crafting since elementary school. I'm such an easy bored person. I hopped from one activities to another. I've even tried paper crafting; if you know, creating 3D decoration from specific patterns and got bored in the middle. I also tried knitting, but NO! I'm not that patient LOL. In my younger years, I also made some handmade jewelry; of course it's so simple and childish and also not that beautiful LOL.

Around 2011, my room mates introduced me to scrapbook. I've already bought some materials, but then I stopped because I can't find any community which I don't know just yet. Then on November 2012, my friend asked me to come to a gathering, a card maker gathering. From that moment, I learned that card making is my passion. I love making cards, swapping mine with others, and really really love it because I got tons of new friends

And, how did I find out about Dreamtime Designs? You'd think this is really something. I'm starting blogging on June 2013. And my first blog challenge is 1 or 2 months from that, for I don't know how to operate blog LOL. On my first challenge, I saw Lisa's amazing card, and got hooked. "Oh my, she's so wonderful and talented" that's all on my mind
Then I found about her announcement of DT call when I visited a friend's blog  I just want to give it a try, and whoaaa... so surprised that Lisa selected me
I'm on Dreamettes, btw

I really love being in the Designer Team of DDCC. All of them are so friendly  I feel accepted already, LOL.
And, this is my first time being DT of any blog  that's why I'm so excited

I can't wait to see our creations showcased on DDCC first challenge
