She's even going to pay me. I hope to get some business cards made up before I get them done, so I can give them to her with the bags. That way, she can give my information if someone asks her about her beautiful bag. This is kind of exciting, because maybe I'll have a business soon. As it stands, I've gotten two bags done, both are in my Etsy Shop, in one week. I should be able to finish the two for her, and one for my Going Green Swap (since I don't like the one I already made).

Signed up for my first swap!

I joined a group for a Green Swap on Ravelry. It's exciting. It's everything I thought it would be and more. It has a place to store my WIP's, FO's and even some UFO's that I have laying around here. There are groups that I can join with knitters and crocheters around me....This is a glorious day.

Now, WIP news..... I am at row 120 of the diagonal pattern baby blanket. At row 127 I have to start decreasing, so it's looking up. It's riddled with mistakes, but for my first actual knitting project, it's looking good.

After this baby blanket, I'm going to try the Glamour Basket Weave blanket pattern on the Lion Brand website. I like the look of it, and it will help me to use other stitches than knit.

I've started to crochet a string bag with Lily Sugar'n Cream yarn. I'm on the bottom, and it's tough to knit with cotton. Maybe someday I'll post pictures.

Hello world!

I'm starting a blog to keep track of my works in progress in both crochet and knitting.
