Sometimes you look for a medium hookah, not to big and not too small.

The most annoying thing that could happen when you smoke hookah is over burned tobacco, some can not smoke it at all, it can be for many reasons, wind, too much tobacco, strong coals, too many coals, less tobacco and many more reasons..
first look on how to make a proper head (bowl)

here are some more tips to avoid over burned tobacco:

+ make some more holes
+ make smaller holes
+ check if by any chance you put more or less tobacco
+ don't force and push the tobacco at once, spread it gently
+ smoke often, sometimes people smoke a lot and a lot on one hookah, it's recommended to take a break for a minute or so, once the tobacco is over burned.
+ use a toothpick from the bottom of the bowls, each bowl has several holes at the bottom of it, use a toothpick to make holes on the foil from the bottom of the bowl, as i demonstrate in the picture added (not a painter)

There are two major types of bowls, ceramic and clay. each with it's disadvantages and advantages.

Ceramic bowl:

The standard Bowl that usually comes when you buy the hookah.

Advantages:

+ less breakable
+ easy to clean
+ different colors
+ different sizes and shapes

Disadvantages:
- heat up quickly
- more taste side effects

Clay:
more difficult to find in a normal shop.

Advantages:
+ does not heat up quicly
+ you feel the taste better
+ normally comes in two sizes : small and large (about average size)

Disadvantages:
- less durable against falling
- 98% of most clay bowls comes in one color
- one standard shape.

In conclusion, if you smoke a lot use the clay, otherwise the ceramic is good too.
My personal preference is the clay.

Tip # 2 Double layer of foil

I've been asked a lot about using double layer of foil. It has it's advantages and disadvantages.

When you use two layers of foil it actually increase the gap between the tobacco and the coal, that way the tobacco won't burn quickly as usual, and you'll enjoy more.

It's second advantage it's for outdoor smokers, since the wind burn the coal and the tobacco faster, double layer will prevent it a bit.

the disadvantage are the health risk and the heat. once you put two layers of foil you inhale more risky gas (since the foil heat up) and the bowl itself heat up faster and you feel it while smoking.

two all you HL (hookah lovers) out there, if you use nly one coal per hookah, then one layer is always the most recommended, unless you smoke outside and then you should get a windshield or double layer of foil.

The scion is an integral hookah accessory, with the scion we can clean the hookah and get to those places we can't while cleaning. there are two types:

hookah scion - metal rod with plastic hairs (spikes), we need to push & pull it through the hookah's body (barrel).

It's recommended to use it at least once a month, or every two weeks for those who smoke a lot.

You can and you should wash the hookah and wash the scion after use.

Vase Scion - thicker than the hookah's scion and it has longer fibers. It's recommended to use it when the Vase is dirty, very important against all the bacteria that stuck to the vase.

After checking with my doc it's the most dangerous prospect of smoking hookah, a good and recommended move is to change the water in the vase every day.

1. The Whales - some people with pneumonia they enjoy but who smokes after them enjoy less, because they destroy the whole point, as they smoke "harder" the tobacco will burn faster.
2. The Cowardly - people who are afraid to take a smoke, that's fine but are you 'pretend'?
3. The destroyers - the tube connected to a water pipe, hookah connected urn head and body, the pipe has a certain length, got my point?
4. The fixers - those that always improvise and play with the coal, always with their hand tongs, stop! Enjoy your head and you do not have to move the coal talk about that later.
5. The strangers - those who come to you without even knowing you want a smoke, do share but with mouth fairies and make sure they did not stay long (unless you have no friends).

Okay, now you ask, how to clean? here are the steps :

1. Clean the jar - no need to expand into words, pour the old water and fill the same amount of new

For the sterile among you, can and should clean the vase with suitable tools or twig caught.

2. Bowl cleaning - Remove the elastic band head, clean first with a sponge tools where possible, then put in a deep cup, boil water and pour into a cup, let the boiling water to clear the head for fifteen minutes or so

3. Exile base Cleaning - unscrew it carefully, place the ball in a plain place and not drop it, clean the ball base ,you can clean the hole but to do so you should clean it gently with Q-Tips.

4. Pipe cleaning house - cleaning the same way as we cleaned the exile base

5. Cleaning the barrel - break down the barrel from below (only if it's screwed, of course) and clean the body hookah from top to bottom and vice versa, pour tap water, and remove all dirt, stuck to the hookah barrel ,look through the barrelto see if there is dirt if not work was done, if there continue to rub until it's completely clean

6. Clean forceps and an ashtray - just as you wash dishes, so clean both of these accessories.7. Cleaned with water all the disassembled parts, components and enjoy a clean hookah.I recommend changing the water every day, and clean as I explained once a month if you are heavy smoker once every two weeks.

We got to the most important part, making the head, below the usual way, making the head has few steps:

1. Cleaning the head - before preparation is important to clean the head of the remains of previous tobacco, not to be aftertaste and the holes are not clogged.

2. Preparation of tobacco - for those of you who chose to use fresh tobacco, it is important to check whether the tobacco is soaked or not, therefore, desirable to filter out the tobacco before use. Too wet tobacco will make the aspirations, and feel like the hookah obscure.

3. Fill your head - when preparing the head you should disperse the tobacco evenly over the entire head, separating the leaves. If we we put the tobacco mass, smoking will be less enjoyable, the tobacco will burn faster.

Do Not compress the tobacco and fill too little or too much, I've included a picture to illustrate the desired amount.

4. foil- if you smoke in an enclosed space, so suffice to use one layer of thick foil. For those of you smokers out there (or somewhere windy) use a double layer of foil and/ or buy a windshield.

5. Hole-punching - has to do medium holes, small and not large, all over the head. Photo illustration later.

6. Light the coal, smoke and pass it forward.

The following article series will deal with using and preparing the hookah for the best.

The first stage is filling the vase and for that various options, diverse and surprising .. But before we expand on all of them will describe and explain how far should you fill the fluid.

The method is very simple and easy, taking the body hookah without the pitcher, place simultaneously captured (as like we connect tthe jar), see where the hookah barrel ends in relation to the vase, subtract cm to inch and a half (about a finger's thickness ), there will be fluid, no less.
