The boy, as a Pokémon Trainer — My son participates in a lot of Pokémon tournaments (Mostly Video Game, but sometimes Trading Card Game as well). Figured it was about time I sketched him as a cartoon trainer. Done with Procreate on an iPad Air using a Wacom Creative Stylus.

Type Detail WIP — This is a detail highlighting the type before I put the border around it. I liked the clean look of the type initially so I had a hard time deciding whether or not to put the border on. In retrospect, I think the extra border helps make the design just a tad more complete.
