When you go before the judge, you will probably be required to justify your request. Using the money to pay medical bills or buy a new car may be acceptable. There is so many 3rd party Photoshop plug-ins or filters that can be found on the net. Can we use on gimp to? Yes we can, using this piece of application called pspi.

How to use it? Well of course we need gimp first, if you still don’t have it, get the latest version here.

Now you have gimp, we can go to the next step.

1. Download pspi that can be found here.
Extract and copy and paste pspi.exe to gimp plug-in folder
C:\Users\arephyz\.gimp-2.6\plug-ins
Or
C:\Program Files \GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins

2. Then start gimp, under tab filters, select photoshop plug-in setting.
Specified the folder where you want to put the photoshop plug-in or create a new folder and name it pspi. Remember the folder path.

3. To use photoshop plug-in, just download the plug-in and put it into the pspi folder. You should be able to see it in gimp under the filters tab.

GhostScript is a plugin for Gimp so you can open postscript format file with Gimp.

What is eps/postscript file?
PostScript (.PS) file that may contain 2D vector graphics, bitmap images, and text; includes an embedded preview image in bitmap format; often used for transferring image data between different operating systems.

Programs That Open PostScript File
Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop or CorelDraw.
If you running Gimp using Linux system, you don't need this plugin.

How To Install GhostScript?

First, download the latest GPL GhostScript Package
Open GhostScript installer and follow the instruction.
You need to set an environment variable GS_PROG to point to gswin32c.exe

Go to Control Panel-->System-->Advance
Now click On Environment Variables.
You can choose between user or system variable. I choose user
Next, Click new and type GS_PROG in variable names.
In variables value, point to gswin32c.exe, in my case (D:\Program Files\gs\gs8.62\bin\gswin32.exe)

Done, now your gimp can open eps/.ps/postscript file. In addition, your gimp now can also open pdf file.

Finally, Blogger.com users now can use inline comment form in their blog. Thanks to blogger team for providing this great feature. So we don’t need a pop-up window anymore. To set up this features, log in into your blogger draft, go to setting-->comment, search for comment form placement and finally click ‘embedded below post’.

Do you take a minute to find a program in your ‘all programs menu’? Or, do you creating shortcut to your entire favorites program into your desktop? If so, you should organize it by categories. Creating a shortcut to desktop is not recommend, because it will slow down your windows when it starts, unless you have a computer that’s running 24 hours.

How To Organize Your All Programs Menu

1.Exploring your Start menu. Right-click the Start button, and then click Explore.

2.Double-click the Programs folder.

3. Then create a new folder (Alt + F W F )
-Name it, in my case, game.
-You can create another organizational folder like Internet, Tools, Security etc.

4.Now move the program you into your organizational folder.

5. Repeat step 3-4 until you satisfied.

Organize menu for all user. Repeat step 1,but click Explore All Users instead of Explore.

Fake Windows Security Alert And VirusProtectPro

About two days ago, I read an interesting article about fake windows security alert. You will receive an e-mail that ask you to download an update

The e-mail messages claim to describe a "Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer" that fixes a critical security flaw in the browser. It comes with a link entitled "Download this update."
When users click on this link, they are taken to a server that attempts to install malicious software known as Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.avk. [source]

Yesterday, my friend asked me to check his computer because windows security alert keep on pop up and alert him with active spyware that running. I asked him to scan with antivirus first before I arrive.

My friend use Bitdefender 10, but can't detect anything, Ad-aware also can't change anything. So I try clicking the security alert and Internet explorer automatically visit VirusProtectPro website. I close the window and right click at the security alert, the same thing happen. I asked my friend did he downloading windows update via e-mail. He do nothing, just download and install a plugin for Internet Explorer.

We out of option, so lets the expert do the job. We asked Mr Google :p . I search for "virusprotect pro" and we find the solution, it different from the article I mention before but still a new trojan. The trojan disguise as a plugin for browser and sometime can install itself without user knowledge. So becareful when downloading a plugin.

Qemu Ubuntu install and boot Process:

Download Qemu and extract it to a directory named Qemu on your portable device
Download Kqemu and extract it to a directory named Kqemu within the Qemu directory
Download the Ubuntu.iso and move it to the Qemu directory
Download the QUB.zip and extract it’s contents to the Qemu directory
Click the ubuntu.bat to start Ubuntu
At the boot menu, press F6 to enter a custom boot option. Type persistent at the end of the boot string: add persistent to the boot options

7.Ubuntu should continue to boot… saving your settings as you go. To restore these saved settings on the next boot, simply press F6 and add persistent again.

Quick Qemu commands:

Press Ctrl+F to toggle full screen on or off

Change the look of your Windows by using transformation pack. Before this, I had use FlyAKite transformation pack, it entirely change the appearance of my windows into MacOsx theme, but some strange bugs block me from using PowerDvD, it running but without video. So I decided to uninstall FlyAkite, my PowerDvD working fine after that.
And now

I try to use Crystal Clear transformation pack. Actually, this theme originally made for Kde, I already use the theme package in my Ubuntu desktop. But my Windows desktop need some change too :p .(my desktop have dual booting, and don't ask me why). For the sake of my eyes, I decide to use Crystal Clear in my windows too.

You also can use it! but before you download, you should create a restore point:

start- all program- Accessories- System Tool- System Restore

The Crystal Clear compatible with following system
- Windows XP
- Windows XP SP1
- Windows XP SP2
- Windows Server 2003
- Windows XP Media Center (SP1, SP2 or without SP)
