Facebook Gifts

Follow the official Facebook, as Scopely has started to dish out free gifts via that channel. It’s not quite daily just yet, but it should grow over time.

Scopely is now giving away Monopoly GO free dice on the official Instagram, though usually via competition. Follow the group and see what you can get!

Daily Links

Much like Coin Master, Monopoly GO! gives away a handful of free dice via links per day. However, unlike Coin Master, they’re very difficult to get hold of and only drop in Discord.

They also expire incredibly quickly, so you’ll have to set up notifications and keep checking back throughout the day. There are plenty of rolls on offer via this method though, so it’s worth it even though it’s frustrating.

Play Regularly

You should play regularly to maximize the number of Monopoly GO free rolls you get. Why? Well, you get a free roll every five minutes, and this number is capped at 30 initially, though you can lift it by leveling up.

What that means is, that once you have 30 rolls ready to go, you can no longer earn any further free rolls. By not playing every single time this cap is reached, you’re, effectively, wasting rolls. Set up notifications so you never forget, or simply check in twice per day to ensure that you’re always spending your free rolls.

Town Upgrades

You can spend the cash you earn from rolling dice on town upgrades, including statues, buildings, and other real-life points of interest. Once you’ve built all the upgrades a town has to offer, and upgraded them to the max, your town is considered complete and you move on to the next one.

When this happens, you earn Monopoly Go free rolls that you can use on the board. That’s right – it pays to spend in Monopoly Go.

Level Up

As you roll dice and spend money, your net worth increases and this number represents your level. As your net worth increases, you earn various rewards that can occasionally include free rolls.

The only way you can increase your net worth is by playing though, so this is more something that will just happen as you progress.

Complete Albums

Much like in Coin Master, you can occasionally open sticker packs that reward you with stickers. These are all part of a specific album, and if you complete the album you get rewards that can include free rolls.

You earn stickers as you play, via events, or for daily logins, so don’t worry too much about chasing them down. You can trade duplicates with friends, or by joining the trading group on Facebook.

Login Rewards

The first time you login to Monopoly Go each day, you earn a reward. Yes, these can include free rolls! You can check the rewards on a weekly basis, so you always know when to expect some dice.

Daily Challenges

Each day, you can complete three simple challenges to get your hands on some quick rewards. As you can expect, these do include free wins on occasion, so make sure to check in each day and complete them.

These daily challenges all go towards weekly rewards too, so make sure to keep completing these every day.

Add Friends

Each time you invite a friend and they start playing Monopoly Go, you earn 30 free rolls. Go crazy and invite as many people as possible.

What does Prometheus bring to FATE: Reawakened?

The new expansion takes you to Prometheus, which used to be a thriving city before everything went completely wrong. The place is now trapped in eternal darkness after Erebos, the Titan of Darkness, stole the sacred Golden Flame.

You’ll run into a mysterious oracle named Alethe, who explains what’s happened. And then it’s up to you to head into the darkness, recover the flame, and save the city. You’ll also have a Baby Pegasus companion tagging along in this pretty gloomy adventure.

Besides the new story, the Prometheus DLC adds quite a bit to FATE: Reawakened. There’s a completely new realm to explore, a darkened town hub, an entirely new dungeon, and of course, that Baby Pegasus companion pet.

You’ll be fighting through a corrupted marble dungeon while trying to reclaim the Golden Scepter and restore the Golden Flame to Prometheus. If you’re playing FATE: Undiscovered Realms, you’ll be able to access the expansion through the left portal inside the Temple of Fate after buying it as an in-game purchase.

Otherwise, the Prometheus DLC is available as an in-app purchase on mobile, costing $6.99. You can grab it right now through the Google Play Store. On top of that, both FATE: Reawakened and the new DLC have also landed on the Samsung Galaxy Store.

Do you own the game?

Back during the golden age of action RPGs, the original FATE became a pretty big deal. It eventually grew into a four-game series with three sequels, becoming one of the standout dungeon crawlers of its time.

Now, FATE: Reawakened is the modern version of that entire collection. Instead of just remastering one game, it bundles together the original FATE, FATE: Undiscovered Realms, FATE: The Traitor Soul, and FATE: The Cursed King.

Battle Chef Brigade is everything mixed together

It’s part side-scrolling brawler, part puzzle game, and also a cooking competition! It takes place in the fantasy world of Victusia, where people figured out how to safely hunt terrifying monsters and turn them into fancy gourmet meals.

That eventually led to the creation of the Battle Chef Brigade. It’s an elite group of warrior-chefs who both protect the world from monsters and cook incredible dishes using the creatures they defeat. You follow two aspiring chefs, Mina and Thrash, as they enter a tough tournament to earn a place in the prestigious Battle Chef Brigade.

The gameplay is split into two parts. First, you’re out hunting monsters and gathering ingredients from plants around the area. Combat is fast-paced and combo-based, with physical and magical attacks helping you. Once you’ve beaten a monster, it’ll drop body parts that become ingredients for your recipes.

After you’ve gathered what you need, it’s back to the kitchen for the cooking phase. This is where things become a puzzle game. You turn the ingredients into differently coloured flavour gems that appear inside a 4×4 cooking grid.

You rotate the gems like Puyo Puyo, matching colours together to increase their rank. The better you combine them, the higher the quality of your dish becomes. Then it’s a race to get your masterpiece in front of the judges before time expires.

Each cooking contest is kind of like an Iron Chef showdown. You’re competing directly against another chef. Up to three judges score your dishes based on their quality, whether you’ve included the required ingredient, and how well you’ve matched each judge’s preferred flavour profile.

Crunchyroll’s Battle Chef Brigade includes all the extra modes, such as Survival Mode, Restaurant Rush, Daily Cook-Offs, and Free Play. It’s now available on the Google Play Store.

The Best Android Battle Royale Shooters

Let’s get into it.

Fortnite Mobile

After a long time only accessible though the Epic Store, the fight between them and Google appears to have finally relented enough to permit it on the Google Play store.

And it’s great to see it there.

While Fortnite isn’t the first big battle royale, it was the one that sent the genre into the stratosphere, thanks to its bold, cartoony aesthetic, fun weekly challenges, and perfectly balanced gameplay. 

PUBG Mobile

PUBG can rightly claim to be the original battle royale game – the mod that became a runaway success and spawned a whole new genre. It’s not hard to see why.

The mobile version of the game has been cleverly optimised for smartphones, with plenty of automated actions to save you getting shot in the face while frantically swiping at your screen. It’s an impressive technical achievement, too.

Free Fire

PUBG Mobile has just over 48 million reviews (when we last checked) on the Google Play Store. That’s a lot, right?

Garena Free Fire has 129 million. (again, when we last checked.) It was also the most downloaded game globally in 2020.

Its success is largely down to its popularity in SE Asia, India, and Latin America, but this year Garena Free Fire overtook PUBG Mobile in the US too, meaning if you haven’t played it yet, you’re seriously behind the curve. This huge playbase also brings big collabs too.

Last we checked it was celebrating its 9th anniversary, which in terms of Free To Play mobile games is a bit like finding a functional

New State Mobile

A souped-up version of PUBG with shinier graphics, a futuristic story, and loads more. The violence is just as tight and taut, and there are plenty of new twists thrown in for good measure. If you’re just starting out your battle royale journey, this is hands-down one of the best places for you to start.

Farlight 84

This one might be a slightly more controversial one as this battle royale appears to be going through a rough patch. The game itself is great, a more colorful and varied take on the genre.

This game just received a major rework, with a look to dealing with some issues it had in the past. Current reviews are a little mixed, with some reports of game-breaking bugs.

We’ll keep an eye on this one and see how things go.

Call of Duty: Mobile

Call of Duty: Mobile may not be a straight-up battle royale game, but it does have a battle royale mode. It’s also a brilliant online shooter, and if you like your battles to be royale you’d be a fool to miss out on it. 

Blood Strike

Blood Strike is a character-based battle royale with cross-platform play and optimizations to make teaming up with your buddies as smooth as possible. It’s also got some really good performance, even on lower-end devices.

The game also does some pretty high-profile collabs. When we checked for the update, they had an event with One Punch Man.

Brawl Stars

And now for something completely different. If all the tactical military shooters have to burned out, give Brawl Stars a go. This top-down shooter has battle royale and vs modes, and brings some silly characters and a more wacky vibe.

Zooba

Another addition to the more toony side of the genre, Zooba is a game where adorable forest creatures come together and… fight to the death with an arsenal of lethal weapons. Each character has its own abilities and playstyle, which adds some fun variety to the rounds.

Wizard of Maths is actually a JRPG-inspired adventure where the whole point is getting better at mental arithmetic. It’s for everyone. A kid learning the basics. A student trying to improve. Or an adult or professional who wants to sharpen number skills again.

According to the developer, the gameplay is backed by the latest educational research and expert insights into mental arithmetic. Every session is designed to improve numerical fluency and calculation speed. The game’s long-term goal is to turn players into human calculators.

Wizard of Maths has many levels

It has a collection of around 72 practical arithmetic tricks. The techniques were selected from best-selling maths shortcut books and modern mental maths literature. Each one is actually useful in real-life situations while being quick to learn.

While the game comes with cute visuals, it’s just adorable on the outside. In-game, it’s pretty unforgiving once you start tackling the maths. Another nice bonus is that Wizard of Maths has been localised into nine languages.

The game is especially intended to help in maths-heavy interviews, including croupier, finance, and banking candidates. There’s even a built-in game editor that lets you customise your learning experience by focusing on the specific maths tricks and techniques you want to practice the most.

Apparently, this one happened because players kept asking for more character packs after the 2016 Suspect Pack and the Legacy Suspect Pack. So, instead of making up completely new suspects, Marmalade decided to bring in Sherlock Holmes. If there’s anyone who belongs in a murder mystery game, it’s Sherlock, don’t you agree?

Of course, Holmes isn’t alone in the pack. The Sherlock Suspect Pack also adds Professor Moriarty, Dr. Watson, and Irene Adler to Cluedo. So, you get four new playable suspects to choose from. All of them have been given updated designs so they blend in nicely with the Cluedo style.

The good thing is that these characters aren’t locked behind a specific expansion or case file. Once you’ve got the Sherlock Suspect Pack, you can use the characters in the base game or any expansion you already own. Every character also comes with two different tokens featuring alternate poses.

Solving a murder mystery as Sherlock Holmes feels like exactly what you’d expect him to be doing. This is also the third playable character collection released for the digital version of Cluedo, following the Legacy Suspect Pack and the 2016 Suspect Pack.

According to the official event page:

“We are excited to announce a partnership with the Paulie Parmesan’s restaurant chain. Soon, you’ll be working alongside your new colleagues at both restaurants. New challenges, familiar faces and plenty of surprises will await you. As our businesses grow closer, strange incidents have already begun to happen. Employees report new issues with the animatronics after closing time, security cameras capture new figures around the kiosk and some employees are missing… But don’t worry! Every opportunity comes with a risk, and we‘re sure that you, our employees can handle those issues! So good luck, and watch out for new anomalies. The partnership begins soon.”

Keep an eye out for the blogger couple who might show up to rate the kiosk. They might just be some regular people there for shawarma… but be careful. They could be a little too in sync. Watch them around the time you hand over the first wrap.

The game comes from Montreal-based developer Saku Monsters. Since it’s currently in a soft launch, the developers say they chose Early Access so players can help shape its future while development continues. They already have another mobile title called Saku Monsters Origin, which launched in June 2024.

You play as a young kid, collect cute little monsters called Sakumon, raise them, battle against other players, and explore a cosy social hub island. You can build your own island, decorate it, customise your avatar and your space.

So, yes, it’s got crafting, monster taming, shared islands, mini-games, and all the chill social features that a lot of cosy games lately offer.

How to get the Sakumon boxes?

The game uses NFC technology. You can tap your real-life figures to your phone by scanning them into the game. Then, they appear alongside you as digital companions. You can raise them, swap between your favourites, battle with them, and bring your whole collection with you in-game.

The figures are available online through the Sakumon website, even if you probably haven’t spotted them in stores yet. Sakumon is bringing back the toys-to-life theme that disappeared for years after some pretty big companies struggled to make the idea stick.

As for the monsters themselves, they’re definitely cute and weird. You get companions like WEEFLE, which is basically a sleepy waffle beetle, and AXLE, a water-loving axolotl. The devs will be adding more to the list of the currently available companions.
