Just like we were feeling lazy with our own outfits this morning, we’ve decided to be a bit lazy with today’s look of the day. So we’ve picked a dress! However it is a gorgeous and very on-trend dress, and it’s also a great trans seasonal item as you can still work it back with opaques and a blazer (if where you are is not blessed with sun just yet).

Plus we didn’t completely take the easy way out, we did decide to do it twice! And we think we deserve some credit for tracking down a killer frock, gorgeous wedges AND a vintage designer bag all for under $250 (look two). Pats on the back are accepted, edible gifts are preferred.

LOOK LOWDOWN:

Best for: Taunting PC compliant work sites and end of work drinks.

Will suit: One of the two frock is bound to suit pretty much all of you! The shoes in ‘Look one’ will help to lengthen and slim your pins too.

Braveness factor: Low. This look is pure classic.

What we’d change: Feeling the need for a big statement ring in there somewhere… just one.

Oprah would be so, so proud of these girls. This week’s blogger crush spotlight is aimed at a duo of ladies from Montreal who not only put together very inspirational outfits… they do it with all vintage clothing that they then sell on their Etsy online store. Multi tasking at its finest.

Oh the irony! Writing up an article about how to dress for a sunny spring day, while wearing a scarf and jacket with the heater going full blast. Actually oops, that’s not irony, that’s just living in Melbourne. But for all of you who do live in states/countries where it might actually get above buggery-bollocks-freezing today (yes, that is an official temperature measurement), then this sweet style is for you.

We love how the simple addition of a Spanish-style necktie takes this look from been-there-seen-that to something we are desperately coveting. We’re super grateful to all you twitterers who nominated Anna Paquin’s Emmy’s look as the one they most wanted us to copy, because to be honest we were having cold sweats trying to figure out just how you could work all that tulle and satin into a day-to-day look.

While Anna’s gladiator-esque Alexander McQueen number works excellently on the red carpet (especially next to her pouty vampire beau), a slightly dressed down version is the perfect antidote to any sort of dressed-up-yet-casual spring event. You know the ones, where it’s just a few drinks in the sun but you just know you’ll end up drinking cocktails somewhere in Kings Cross until 2am.

Best for: Looking fashionably fabulous, without trying too hard.

Rachel Zoe is definitely one of our favourite pint-sized, catch-phrase spouting, celeb super stylists. Although if we hear her, or any of her disciples say the phrases “I die,” or “That’s bananas” one more time, we might have to actually kill them.
