1- Update Firefox
2- Disable Any Add-ons
3 - On the Address Type about:config

browser.display.show_image_placeholders : False

Faster loading time on images

browser.tabs.animate : False

Disables animation on tabs while they load

Well in this new OS they changed it a bit ...still very simple , they just moved it to Task Manager

Open Task Manager : Ctrl+shift+esc
Start Up
From here select and disable any unwanted items

How to connect a dsl modem the proper way.

1 Connect phone cable directly to phone jack and other end to modem
2 Connect ethernet cable to modem and computer
3 Connect power supply to modem and power outled
4 Add micro filter to any device that connects to a phone line except the dsl modem
5 Make sure phone cable is less than 12 feet since this will give you a better connection

I read online that an update on IE regarding java was letting spyware into the computer very easy and so i actually got to work on an infected computer and it seems that the Internet Zone settings were the issue , no matter what i did i would not get them to change so...in the end resetting the registry worked and here are the steps to do it .

Start

Search type "regedit"

Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet"

Make sure "secure zones map edit" is valued at 0 if not change it .

Once thats donde reboot the machine and you should be good to go .

Open Google Chrome
Open Task Manager And Look For " chrome.exe " Right Click And Select High

Disable Developer Mode
If You Are Not A Developer Turn It Off From The Tools Menu

I love chrome...my favorite browser and its so easy to remove any unwanted add ons that you might have added on your daily use .

Steps.

Click
Tools
Extensions
Click the trash icon next to the extension you need to remove
You will get a confirmation box , just click on Remove and you are good to go .

Google Chrome!
My favorite browser on windows and on android .

Skyfire
This one is for apple products since it will let you view flash videos.

Opera Mini
Great and easy to use for both OS .

Safari
Nothing wrong with apples browser just the lack of ability to view flash videos .

Blazer
This is for Palms...i though i might include one .

Surface...so great but still has issues , here is what to do if it wont turn on .

Remove Power Supply
Remove any Debris
Reconnect make sure it clicks
Disconnect any devices connected to the surface ( keyboard - printer )
Hold down power button for 5 seconds

If it does not boot you will to get it serviced .

Connect (It will search for the mail settings on its own) .

Many changes on this new OS but the fact that we still need Task Manager has not.
To Open it you can do this :

Right click the lower left coner of the screen ( where the start button used to be ) this will open the new menu called WinX menu , on this menu you will find Task Manager .

Close any file sharing programs (limewire,torrents)
Close anti-virus software
Close windows updates
If another device is in use and if possible just disconnected from the network

Note: The speed of your connection is the most important thing , the best speed for netflix would be anything above 3Mb .
