Electro-heads, get ready for the DU8SHOW Episode 14 lined with some great high-energy club tracks to move your waist for the weekend. It's been a while since I threw down some Electro and today is going to be a special treat.

Starting the mix is an amazing Calvin Harris tune going by the name of Colors. Then, we start up with MSTRKRFT's Street Justice rework, Data's amazing Aerius Light (picked from Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2011), Deadmau5's dirty electro rub of Afterhours featuring some naughty talk from Melleefresh, a Gabriel Castellon edit of a Jorengsen tune called Dadadisco, an NVG remix of a Thomas Gold and Erik Smax track called House Arrest, and rework of an old disco song called Sunshine Day by the Bodybangers.

Other notable artists and remixers include Far Too Loud, Wolfgang Gartner, Discount Rhinos, Porter Robinson, Roman Pushkin, Spencer and Hill, and finally, I had to end it off with a little old-school re-rubbing of the classic house hit, Diamond Life feat. Julie McKnight ignited with an epic Prydz instrumental that'll sure to close the mix off right.

Enjoy this mix for an exciting upcoming and stay tuned as I'm going to be announcing some big changes coming to both the DU8SHOW Podcast as well as the blog. Enjoy!

Hey House Lovers, as the long weekend comes to a close, I've come to bring you a special set with some amazing house tracks that are sure to get you moving for the next long while. Legacy Sets don't come around all that often but when they do, they are in great demand and they're always keepers. Today's mix is no exception.

Some of the tracks I had to dig deep down inside the archive to put together but it didn't take very long before everything was mixed up and sounding like heaven! I'm bringing some interesting old-skool Latin-house tracks like Afro-Cube's Sugar Cane; Bajo Mix, A Mijangos Latin House mix of Joe Arroyo's La Toruga, Fiasco's Las Mujeres (Salsa fans should recognize this one), a crazy Axwell remix of Louie Vega's Dance Ritual, DJ Sneak's bread-and-butter classic beats with Salsa Elektrika, as well as two sweet Yoruba Mixes of Ben Westbeech's So Good Today and Bah Samba's Tired Lil' One.

In addition, I also had to bring in a great classic house track by Robert Owens mixed by Filsonik called Deep Down; really nice tune. In closing, I threw in a beautiful retro track by Pamela Joy called Think Fast as a cooldown with infectious vocals.

This set is sure to please and make you move. Diplomatico plays the best in house with the DU8SHOW Podcast so stay tuned throughout the summer we will be releasing bringing new sets as well as re-posts of previously popular Episodes. Enjoy!

Hey everyone, I hope everyone is having a great weekend because it's going to get a lot better. Today, I'm dropping both the opening and main sets for the DU8SHOW's 11th Podcast. It's a bread-and-butter two-parter that has a beautiful mix of tracks throughout.

While the opening set is great for texture at the beginning of the night, the main set has a mix of truly nice house vocally tracks but with a dash of deep house elements. Remixes come in the way of Pepe Braddock, Smokin' Beats, Yoruba, and Soul Minority. The one track that I put at the very end is a long-time favorite by Arvid with Ernesto (from Ernesto VS Sebastian) called 'Try'. It's a beautiful track remixed by Landshark who touches the track with a nice afterhours vibe to it.

All around great sets, easy listening. I'm already hard at work with the offerings for Episode 12 which is sure to please. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the visitors from all over the world showing their support. I really and truly appreciate it and I'd like to give a shout out to all the DU8SHOW fans listening in Belgium, United States, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Costa Rica, Peru, Egypt, Greece, Japan and Singapore!

Party for the Weekend! the DU8SHOW Podcast Episode 9 (Cassette Edition)!

greenhausrecords@hotmail.com (diplomatico) — Fri, 18 Mar 2011 23:00:00 -0700

Electro New Style (unknown source)

Hey Everyone, going into this weekend the DU8SHOW Podcast drops some essential house goodness. Episode 9's DU8SHOW is called the Cassette Edition because the original version was made for a physical cassette which was a limited promo. I might make more if there are enough requests because they're an amazing bit of nostalgia to fuse with the new house sounds.

Moving right along - we have a sweet melding of electro tracks with some familiar throwbacks to classic house remixes like a PHAT Daft Punk's One More Time a la House Moguls, Black Legend's You See The Trouble With Me' on a rare ATFC re-lick and of course, nothing says classic with a little shaker that we know as 'Women Beat Their Men' mastered by legend Cevin Fisher.

Of course, we have some tried and tested club electro tracks from Peter Gelderblom, The Miami Project reviving 'Another One Bites the Dust', a massive Gregor Salto Ibiza anthem 'Erasmus', a couple of Deadmau5 hits, and a cool mash of a rare tune called Can't Let You Go, a Fio track remixed masterfully.

Enjoy the show and keep checking for upcoming mixes in the coming weeks!

DU8SHOW Exclusives: Underground Sessions Sets!

New sets in this week with a nice mix of everything house and electro. Underground sets are usually representative of the variety featured in my live sets so mashups are likely. Pushing vocals to the max and wresting the heavy electro synth lines make for a nice vibe as electro is hardly played like this anymore. Hey party people! In time for the weekend I'm bringing a nice funky house mix today with a great mix of the essentials that are sure to keep you dancing in the best way possible. The DU8SHOW Podcast B is a Funky House compilation that is great for a relaxing drive home or to get yourself in a partying mood for the early evening. Let's get started:

I've started it out with one of my favorite house-mixed artists, Jamiroquai with Blow My Mind, a Dr. Kucho staple remixing Bamboola Production's Bahia, a rare-gem by little know group; Flanders bringing By My Side, some Gregor Salto and DJ Madskills treatment of the hit Very Nice People track called I'll Make You High. Then we bring in some latin flavor through Knee Deep with a remix of the Dubtribe Sound System's hit; Do It Now, then we go into a nice Dawn Tallman gem called I'm Over It, then we have an amazing Fred Everything remix of a Kings of Tomorrow track; Another Day, with a great Missy Elliott dub of Bring the Pain whereby we close with Random Factor's Without You remixed by the Inland Knights.

Thanks to all those who have given requests. Stay tuned for more upcoming podcasts by diplomatico!

DU8SHOW is back! Underground Sessions featuring Classic House!

greenhausrecords@hotmail.com (diplomatico) — Tue, 1 Dec 2009 13:05:00 -0800

Hey everyone, many apologies for the long-hiatus but we're back on and we're making a few changes. Due to a new concept site that we're working on for 2010, the DU8SHOW podcast will continue for the remainder of the year (approx. 5 more episodes) but since we're restarting the entire show next year, the Podcasts will be lettered (Podcast A, Podcast B, etc.) until we start anew.

As mentioned, I did have some technical issues to tend to for the past while but the changes we made in this department will not affect the overall format of the show. We're still playing the best in house, we're still twittering our great work and we're still keeping the community open for anyone take part and have their voice heard. While we were gone we received an amazing amount of support and we look forward to rolling out the new changes. We also give big thanks to all those who had us in their thoughts while we were gone. And finally, I do apologize for not having the archives up but we're still working on a solution to get the entire back-catalogue of all of our shows and special sets from the new site to the blog. Unfortunately this might require more time but as always, requests for previous shows can be made to me at greenhausrecords (at) gmail (dot) com.

With that said, here is the DU8SHOW Podcast A for the month of December. As a tradition, I usually put out an underground classic house CD just as December is starting and this is well in the vein of what the trademark diplomatico sound is really all about and I'm sure you'll love it. Keep listening!

DU8SHOW delayed until Mid-November: Details

greenhausrecords@hotmail.com (diplomatico) — Mon, 19 Oct 2009 08:23:00 -0700

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but we're working on some critical issues, mostly technical, with both the blog and the show and therefore we will be further delayed in bringing the next episode of the DU8SHOW. We are continually making efforts towards improving the show in every way imaginable and we hope that you keep tuning in as we work to post some back episodes.

So what's the deal? Well, during the past few weeks, we've been thinking of ways to implement proposed changes that we wanted to see on the site including a variety of show format changes but we found it incredibly difficult to roll-out while the show was still going on. We consistently review user feedback and as such, our plans to upgrading the site became much more involved as we worked with resolving common back-end issues while as time went on.

We here at the DU8SHOW are an ambitious bunch and we want only the best for the fans while paying close attention to maintaining a high-quality podcast for all those who love house music. We can't wait to show you some of the changes that we have in store for the site as we are always evolving into something better and with time, making the DU8SHOW into something bigger. This short-hiatus can give those who are just joining us a chance to catch up on all previous episodes and I'll be sure to personally have a collection of some of the best episodes of this year posted in the coming days.

Thanks for supporting us and, as always, feel free to contact us with any questions or comments at greenhausrecords (at) gmail (dot) com.

Hey everyone, I have a special treat for you. I recently did my second guest spot on DI.FM on my good friend's DJ Medieval's Alchemy Sessions, Episode 013. Medival throws it down every 4th Tuesday of each month on the Progressive Channel and we have amazing colabs. The following set is the past show aired just recently and it contains some amazing tracks including a heavenly first hour mix by the man himself. I come in on the second hour and throw down some soulful stompers with a bit of dirtiness to it to make things interesting. Our colabs are always a hit so give it a whirl and enjoy these two amazing sets back-to-back.

DU8SHOW pres. The Designer Mixes 2009 Louis Vuitton Sets!

greenhausrecords@hotmail.com (diplomatico) — Thu, 23 Jul 2009 15:19:00 -0700

Louis Store - deviantart.com

Hey party people, to bring the weekend into full swing, I have two brand new Designer Sets with the ultra-popular Louis Vuitton collection with the ‘LV-Lectro’ series. Let’s begin:

For the main set, I’ve brought some amazing remixes with the likes of Dennis Christopher, Christian de Hugo, Ian Carey, Fukkk Off, and a new Stephen Hinz mix of some huge tracks. I’ve also included one of my person favourites that’s just tearing up dancefloors everywhere called Why Don’t You by Gramophondzie, definitely one HOT track. I’ve also put in some new John Dahlback, Marks, Laidback Luke, and Zagazound tracks that’ll make this set on the best of the summer yet.

For the Afterhours set, I’ve surely put some bump in the mix with a couple of revivals like AVH’s The Funk Phenomena, ATFC’s Bad Habit 09 set of re-rubs, some D&G, Robbie Rivera, and a Tainted Love remix from Gianluca Motta. Of course, I cannot do afterhours without some Carl Kennedy & Johnny Gleeson, Chris Ortega & Thomas Gold, Jose Nunez & Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero, Dave Darell, Edison, Bart. B. More, Mobin Mastter and a sweet Kevin S. Original track aptly called Afterhours.

The Designer Sets have always been the mark of the latest and greatest of diplomatico and the DU8SHOW brings them in full-swing with the Louis Vuitton mixes with the utmost authority. I’m not done for this weekend so stay tuned for more amazing sets! Enjoy!

Massive Underground Sessions Set: DU8SHOW Episode 51!

greenhausrecords@hotmail.com (diplomatico) — Wed, 8 Jul 2009 00:41:00 -0700

Enemy of the State by shebid (deviantart.com)

Hey everyone, I’m unleashing one of my marquee club mixes with an exclusive Underground Sessions set. Bringing the absolute best of house music with a huge variety of common artists and industry approved tracks that are played the world over mixed together in trademark diplomatico style. Here we go:

Introducing the set will include classics such as Martin Solveig’s Linda, Jark and Prongo’s Shake It Baby!, P.J.’s Happy Days, Grand Menage’s Magalenah, Inner City’s Big Fun, Lil’ Louis’s Lonely, and Stephanie Mills’ Latin Lover. Of course, guiding these amazing tracks are of course, Knee Deep’s French Love, Wawa’s massive Chain of Fools remix, an exclusive remix of a familiar favourite with Music for the Pushchairs by Small Phat One, Kenlou’s Sensational Beats Vinyl B-side, Shawn Christopher’s Don’t Lose the Magic remixed by Miki Moto and Bobby Blanco, a huge Steve Angello remix of Moby’s Raining Again, and a masterful remix of Warren Clarke and Kathy Brown’s Over You. Truly inspiring.

Lastly, I closed the set with Rock with You by the late Michael Jackson as a humble tribute. I understand that the DU8SHOW might not be the outlet for a full-blown MJ tribute but let it be known, his passing has affected all of us at DU8SHOW and while we mourn one of the greatest artists who ever lived, we along with musicians around the world celebrate the music that changed the game forever. We will miss you Michael Jackson, we are still rocking with you.

Rest in Peace, MJ.
