Dubstep = Speaker Wobble

2012-04-02T06:52:00.001-07:00

This is a nice and clean edit of some speakers that are wobbling which the words "dubstep" just shaking zoo bad. I like this pic because it shows the very essence of dubstep in the fact that it has a bunch of bass and goodness.

R3hab - Chainsaw Showers

2012-04-01T21:10:00.001-07:00

R3hab is definitely one of the rising stars as of late collabing with huge name after huge name turning hit after hit. He’s playing pretty much every large dance festival and venue this year sharing his take on electro house with the world. This track goes along with just that, hinting towards a little dutch sound this song definitely has that high and drive carrying the track through the finish. He put this one out for free so download and enjoy time after time.

Protohype & KhemehK - Raise ‘Em Up

2012-03-30T11:30:00.000-07:00

It’s been a little while since we’ve seen some work from either Protohype or Khemehk, luckily for us they’ve recently joined forces and created this banger of a drumstep tune. I love the energy with this track and the easily distinguished styles of both producers. After swooping up this gem, go ahead and show them some love on Facebook. Oh, and keep your eyes open for some stuff from Proto in the very near future (hint hint.)

Haywyre - But Now You Say

2012-03-29T21:03:00.000-07:00

Hello everyone, here’s an older tune from the 19 year-old producer Haywyre who, despite his age, seems to have quite a bit of experience producing bass music. I’m really feeling the off beat wobble and filter used to give the bass line a damp yet full sound. This one’s a freebie so don’t miss out, be sure to listen and download below.

David Guetta - Titanium [Aaron Wayne Remix]

Okay so the original is a little dated, that doesn’t matter. This remix is hot. Aaron Wayne (previously known as Drughead) destroys this remix. I’ve been waiting for something new from this guy for a while and he delivered as always with the heavy bass drops that everyone loves. Scope out his facebook page and show him some love!

Katy Perry - Part Of Me (DJ Skeet Skeet Remix EXTENDED)

So I have a not-so-secret secret admiration for Katy Perry and her music, I know, it’s a guilty pleasure. Her songs are just too catchy, I can’t help it. Thankfully DJ Skeet Skeet gives me a legitimate excuse to listen to her music because he does some serious work to this one making it a full powered dance tune the whole way through. I’m hoping he will release it for download, ifso facto, it will be here for sure.

PeaceTreaty Mashups

Follow @TheePeaceTreaty

PeaceTreaty is one of the premier big room house acts and they recently dropped this pair of mashups for their fans to enjoy. Combining tracks they incorporate in their sets this is definitely something you could hear at a show in the near future from these guys. They’re pure anthems, put these on when you are ready to take flight because these can only be enjoyed at volume 11. I’m lovin these tracks right now.

Dodge & Fuski - Python

2012-03-28T14:30:00.000-07:00

Been a while since I posted some Dodge & Fuski. Python was released for free through their facebook page, and I’m loving the track. Beatport describes it as “Jump-up dubstep” and I completely agree, these two really bring the energy here. Check out the other two tracks they released with this song, an original and a drumstep remix by Phetsta here.

Nero - Must Be The Feeling (Flux Pavilion & Nero Remix)

2012-03-28T11:00:00.000-07:00

I think it’s interesting that Nero brings in other producers to help remix their own original track. As you can see from the Promises remix and this one, their strategy works well. This time it’s Nero teaming up with Flux Pavilion, remixing “Must Be The Feeling”. In my opinion it’s been a while since there was a really good, ‘mainstream’ dubstep song released – this one may fill that hole. No DL link unfortunately, but listen to the track below.

Zedd - Stars Come Out [Remixes]

2012-03-28T07:30:00.000-07:00

Two dubstep remixes of Zedd’s dope track ‘Stars Come Out’ by both Datsik and Terravita dropped the other day on beatport, and I’m not gonna lie I actually like both of them. Datsik’s remix caught me by surprise – it’s sort of a different style, straying away from those deep bass growls and transformer-sex sounds that made him as well known as he is today. Check them both out below, and purchase the songs as well as other remixes here.

Borgore - Flex (Figure Remix)

2012-03-27T20:52:00.001-07:00

Never hurts to have that new Figure banger on blast. This time it’s Borgore’s new jam Flex…find the entire release on beatport – you’ll find the two original Borgore songs along with a ton dubstep remixes. I know I post a lot of Figure but when he keeps cranking out this sort of quality I have no choice. On an unrelated note, I’m seeing Excision live on April 20th.

Drop Goblin - Shake Yer Body

2012-03-26T19:26:00.000-07:00

In support of his brand new EP out now through Play Me Too Records, Drop Goblin released this free track on SoundCloud and Beatport. I love the vibe of this song and the title is definitely appropriate. Throw this track on at the gym or at your next shindig to get the mood set and go swoop up the EP!

Bassnectar - Ugly (Keys N Krates Remix)

2012-03-25T19:24:00.005-07:00

Bassnectar’s new track Ugly was fire, but Keys N Krates shows us a very different side of the original banger. The original was dirty and ‘ugly’ (in a good way), while this remix is on the other side of the spectrum – filled with airy synths and nice melodies. I love remixes that make an effort to be very different than the original – check it above and show Keys N Krates love on facebook.

ZEDS DEAD & Omar LinX

2012-03-25T10:58:00.002-07:00

The homies over at Mad Decent (Diplo’s Label) have compiled this FREE EP featuring seven collaborations between Zeds Dead and Omar LinX.

Needless to say, this EP is another huge production from the Canadian duo who have incorporated a hip-hop sound into each of the songs using the vocals of Omar LinX as well as production techniques that convey a rap/hip-hop vibe, but at the same time, stay true to the Zeds Dead sound. Download each track below!

M.I.A. - Bad Girls (Wick-it Remix)

2012-03-24T10:11:00.004-07:00

Wick-it is back at it, this time remixing M.I.A’s Bad Girls. A slower remix than dubstep nowadays, but it’s a banger nonetheless. What I’m trying to figure out is why M.I.A songs are so prone to dubstep remixes (Ellie Goulding is a different story). Peep the track below along with the free download, support Wick-ithere.

This dude Stratus has got you covered if you’re looking for some hard hitting dubstep. Taking on the massive Antidote Knife Party/SHM anthem is definitely ambitious, but Stratus steps up to plate creating a great remix here, with a lot of variation that you have to appreciate.
