Welcome back to another Must Play and this weeks' is Mortal Kombat Mythologies!!!!

Lets see where do I start?...... Oh I got it This game is AMAZING!!!

Anyone who has played this game knows what I'm talking about, an actual GOOD Mortal Kombat adventure game. Don't get me wrong Shaolin monks was good but not like this bad boy here but thats for a later time.

I remember renting this from blockbuster, thats how old I am. But anyway this game is a prequel to....are you ready?.....(dramatic music).... Mortal Kombat!

This game is loads of fun, from its combos, to leveling up sub-zero, to boss battles, just everything about it is soooooo goood!!!! well maybe except for one level......you know what it is. If you played it on the PS1 then you got the full motion cutscenes but for the N64 users, we were given snap shots of the cutscenes with text to read -_- but that's okay!! cause it gave the game even more depth to it....kinda...idk....story was ok....kinda.... :)

MAN I AM SORRY FOR NOT FOLLOWING UP!!!!! Again work and school is killing me so I'm not able to post much but I'm going to try......key word there is "try"

Ok lets move on shall we?

So this weeks' or months' or whatever, must play is Mischief Makers!

This is one of those games where only few people have played it and if you're not one of them, Shame on you!!! Jk but seriously play this game. Go to your garage or attic or storage center, grab your n64 out or steal one and buy this game and play it!!

Simplicity is great when done right and this is an example of that. Everything you do in the game is grabbing shit and shaking it. Walking or running around you see a ball, grab it and shake it. You see an enemy? Grab it and shake it. You say your stuck? GRAB SHIT AND SHAKE IT!!!!!! That's it and it's a puzzle/platformer so you need to figure out what to do. You can't just go left to right and then be like "DONE!!" You need to GRAB AND SHAKE!!! ok I'm done.......kinda

Even with the boss battles you have to figure out exactly how to hurt them. The game wants you to use your head and not be mindless people starring at the tv. This game is freaking intuitive and is well worth the $6-$15 price tag, depending on where you buy it. Amazon has it pretty cheap.

Also make sure you read what the people say, it'll help :) no seriously make sure you are READING!!!! cause the game warned me....it did.

It said "make sure you are collecting those gems!!" And i was like

wasn't a pretty sight once I got towards the end of the game -_-

This game was developed my "Treasure" but do you really care about that stuff? Let me know with the comments!!!

Soo if you dont have this game and want to buy it, either go to jjgames.com or lukiegames.com I would suggest lukiegames only because you get points on your purchases so you can use those points on your next purchase.

Top 5 games of the month

Wow! sorry everyone for not posting up anything in awhile, just been busy with school and work so this post is going to be a short one. This is what has kept me busy for a good while

It's all cross hatching and hatching =0

This is the first Top 5 of many to come and I just wanted to let all of you know that this list is solely based on my opinion so if you don't agree with the list, that is totally fine because again its based off my opinion :) Lets begin!!!!

5. With the release of DMC coming closer, I decided to play all 3 of them to see if its still up to par. For the majority it is! well except for DMC2.....

4. Resident evil at its best! This version of the game also has more weapons and modes to play with guaranting you some replay value :)

3. OMG this game is GOOD!!!!! It is fun and addicting especially with the DK bongos. I cant explain how it us but just using the bongos to make DK move and attack.....you just have to play it to know what I mean.

2. This game taking place in an asylum and the joker has taken over it?!?!?!?! mind=blown!! yeah the end boss wasn't great, but getting there was really the fun part :)

1. I love the 16 bit donkey kong games and this game did not disappoint. The game is truly at its best when played with a buddy but you can play it by yourself, its just as good :)

Must Play: Pokemon!!!

Welcome back everyone!!!! This weeks 'Must Play' is Pokemon!!!!

Need I say anything at all?!?!?!?!?!?!? Just go play any pokemon game you can your hands on and re-live your childhood. For the peeps who haven't played pokemon.........you must be like 2 because everyone and their mother have played pokemon.

I recently started playing Pokemon Sapphire because I had bought my cousin Pokemon Emarld version from craiglist.com and the kid was selling all 3 GBA games!!! So I got emarld, ruby, and sapphire!!! Anyway before I lose track, I was already playing Pokemon Soul Silver when he told me to play one of the other games so we could battle and I jumped right in. Kids nowadays will never really experience playing with someone else with a link cable.

So I had to choose from either ruby or sapphire and I already played ruby when it came out because my brother got it for me, so I decided to play the sapphire version. This is gonna sound weird but I prefer ruby over sapphire and the only reason for it is because it was the game I played as a kid. See told you it was weird and don't get me wrong it's still extremely fun and addicting.

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire are my favorite versions out of all of the series but I still haven't played Pokemon Black or White or even the second ones, but as of right now ruby and sapphire are my picks. That's pretty much it go and play Pokemon!!! Do it!!! (insert accent here) DO IT NOW!!!!!!!

Must play: Rocket Knight Adventures

Welcome back everyone and this is another "Must play" entry. This weeks game is Rocket Knight Adventures for the Sega Genesis.

This game is amazing on so many levels. The level design is fantastic and the game mixes it up every once in awhile. It was released in 1993 and by Konami, (same makers as the contra games and TMNT IV) so you know it's going to be good! You'll start out on foot for the first level because its gotta teach you the basics of the game and there will be levels where you are on your jetpack and it keeps it from being dull. As you progress through the game, it'll get harder (duh) and the whole time you are fighting pigs! PIGS!

When you attack your enemies you can charge up your attacks using your jetpack. Its useful but at times deadly because you will be bouncing all over the screen and you can full into a pit or spikes or enemies and get hurt. Thankfully it's never frequent, or rather if you do get hit, most of the time I'd be your own fault. The point is, the charge shot/attack is controllable.

The soundtrack is really good, you need to play it to feel the music with the levels, if have played it or are going to play it then you'll know what I'll mean. I can't explain the music with words, its that good :)

I dont want to keep rambling on the game because I want you to enjoy it and I promise you its extremely fun/addicting. So go play this Game (<---- click on "Game" another surprise like last time :D) right now! RIGHT NOW!!!! BTW the website I send you guys to isn't the best place to play it. To get the full experience is to have with the original console or at least an emulator solely because this website has to have the game speed up a bit and it kinda ruins the music. But I at least want to give you guys a place to be able to at least try it. :) Have a nice day everyone and Happy gaming :)

Hello everyone!!!! This is the first entry of many when I talk about a game that YOU (yes you the reader) MUST play the game. This weeks game is Contra Hard Corps!

This game is for the Sega Genesis (obviously because of the box cover) and is the only contra game released for the Genesis. It is very similar to its counter parts (ie Contra, Contra 2 &3) except you can choose different characters. Instead of being forced to play as either Bill or Lance (if you were playing with a buddy,) you can now choose from 4 different people. They are:

Ray Poward - Standard male soldier and the central figure in the Contra Hard Corps unit. His cool exterior hides a burning lust for battle.^[5]
Sheena Etranzi - A female soldier and guerilla specialist.^[6]
Brad Fang - A genetically and cybernetically altered
wolf-like humanoid with cannon for an arm.^[7]
Browny - A small-sized combat robot. Officially known as CX-1-DA300.

Each of them have their own weapons but they all have the same type of weapon. Is that confusing? I don't want to get into much detail because I really want you guys/gals to go and play the game! Just play the game and you'll know what I mean.

You can get the game for about $30 on the internet like amazon and such, it is worth getting

but I know you guys/gals will find ways around paying it to play it :0

If you haven't played this game yet, I highly recommend that you do

because this is one of those few 16 bit games that has multiple endings!!!

It also allows you to choose the path you want to take, so the replay value is incredibly high!

Alright GO! and PLAY THIS GAME!!!!! :) (click on game its a surprise :) don't worry it's not a screamer thing ok I personally hate that stuff and I would never do that. It is also going to open up a new window)

Universal Studios Hollywood update

Ok so we are heading home now and it was a fun day but I gotta say, the transformers ride was a real let down. I personally didn't like it and I hope I'm not giving any spoilers but it wasn't all that great.

The mummy ride is waayyy better in terms of delivery. First off the picture for transformers has people strapped in with the over the head strap. I was then like "oh cool an actual rollercoaster" but it wasn't, all it was is different screens with car movement.

Overall it wasn't great and I felt bad for the people who had to wait 70 (and up) mins. Yeahhh......well have an awesome day guys/gals :)

Universal Studios Hollywood

Hello everybody!!!!! Man it's way too early for me to be awake at this time but just wanted to say I'm spending an awesome day with my family at universal studios Hollywood!! I haven't been here since I was about.....12? Maybe?

Anyway it's been a long time now and it's great to be here again, they changed a couple of things so far but I'm just gonna enjoy myself before the summer ends.

So on that note go have fun everyone and make sure you go somewhere during the summer, cause if you don't, you'll be regretting it :) BYE!!!!

Mario Tennis Open game quickie

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog and today's game quickie is Mario Tennis Open for the 3DS.

To anyone who has played any Mario Tennis game will feel right at home, and for any newcomers, the game is very easy to pick up and quite addicting. Now there really Isn't a story mode here per say, but there are a total of 5 modes to play from but two of them are from multiplayer. The modes include: Tournament, exhibition, special games, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer.

Gyro view

Tournament and exhibition modes are practically the same. All it is, is you against the computer except in tournament mode, the CPU gets a bit harder as you progress while in exhibition, you can set the difficulty. Nothing really special here but it does teach you about the Gyro sensors and tells you how to utilize it or disable it. I personally disabled it because it wasn't that great, plus I like the overview or bird eye better :)

The Special games is where it gets interesting and fun! There are 4 (I guess you can call them) mini-games which are: Ring Shot, Super Mario Tennis, Galaxy Rally, and Ink Showdown. In each of these games, they give you a certain task and as you complete each one, it'll get only a little bit harder. This is where you earn coins to spend in the shop but I'll explain that later. My personal favorite is the Galaxy Rally only because it's the easiest and fastest way of
earning more coins.

Ok so the single player is great, but how's multiplayer?

It is AMAZING!!! I'm talking about online multiplayer here because I don't know anyone else that has Mario Tennis Open :'( but from what I've read and seen, it's pretty much like exhibition mode where you customize the game to your liking. Now getting back to the online multiplayer, You can either choose one of the characters from the game or use your Mii. When you use your Mii, you can customize him/her with the items that the Toads sell in the shop. This is where you spend those coins I was talking about.

Japanese version (couldn't find English version. sorry!!)

You can customize your Mii to your liking with experimenting with the items. Are you a tricky kind of person? or are you more into power? You can buy the items that you want to get your Mii to where you want it.

When you play online you can choose from either quick, extended, or either. The quick one is the first person to get to 7 points wins (8 if you are tied with your opponent at 6-6 because you need to win by 2 points) and the extended is a "best of three one-set match." Either.....well its either a quick game or extended :)

When you beat your opponent in an online game, you get a medal of the opponents Mii. This allows you to see who you have beaten and vice versa. Also you can unlock characters and costumes to use on you Mii through playing the game both online and offline.

Overall the game is really fun and is worth looking into. If you liked the other Mario Tennis games, then you'll most likely enjoy this one and is worth getting but, if you haven't played any Mario Tennis game (or any type of tennis game for that matter) then maybe look at some gameplay <---(click it to see a review on it) if you're not too sure about it.

I give this game 7/10 because.......well because it's tennis LOL but seriously its a good game and the multiplayer will have you hooked for a couple of days. Thank you for taking your time to read my game quickie and have an awesome day!!! :)

Kid Icarus 3DS

Hello everyone!!! This is a quick game review for "Kid Icarus Uprising" for the 3D

Lets begin!!! *clearing throat*

SO this game takes place 25 years after the original Kid Icarus on the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System), and all of the story is told to you within the very first level of the game. The character you control is Pit and he serves Lady Palutena who sends you out on your missions.

The controls do take a while to get use to them but it works. The game also supports the circle pad pro which is good for left handed people, but there is also a "left handed controls feature" in the game who don't own a circle pad pro which is a nice touch because the developers put that into consideration.

The game play is very fun and highly addicting. The levels are chapters and broken into 2 stages each. The first stage will be in the air where Pit is flying to the destination that Lady Palutena is guiding him to. You will be shooting enemies along the way. Then in the second stage, you are on the ground and you work your way up to the boss.

Now the game does support the 3d functionality but I personally don't use it in this game simply because it doesn't really need it. The game looks wonderful without it, plus it (at times) gave me a headache when I would move out of the "sweet spot" to see the full 3d effect.

Single player is fun and great on its own merits and so is the multiplayer. You gain new abilities/weapons through both the multiplayer and the single player campaign. So whatever you get from multiplayer, you can use it in single player and vice versa. You can also fuse two different weapons to create a brand new one! Just be careful though because once you fuse 2 weapons, they are gone (unless you buy them in the shop or earn them). There is two modes to play which are: "Light VS. Dark" and "Free for all."

Light vs Dark is simply team deathmatch but with a twist. It is a 3 on 3 match and you share (what looks like to me) a health bar that depletes when you or your teammates get eliminated. Let me clarify, you have your own health bar and once you get killed or destoryed or eliminated, then the team's bar depletes. You come back to life so it's not a one life type of game. Also the more powerful your weapon is, the faster the team's bar depletes. Once it does, the last person that died turns into Pit or Dark Pit, depending on what team you are on. Then from there you must protect your Pit from being eliminated or go after the enemy's Pit. Free for all is just you against (I believe its) 4 other people so make sure you watch your back!

This game is definitely worth getting because you will enjoy it, plus it comes with a holding stand and some AR cards which is really neat! If I had to give it a score, I'd give it an 8/10 only because I was hoping there would be more game modes for multiplayer. Maybe something like capture the flag except they are wings instead of flags or a game mode where you go out to save your Pit from the enemy team I dont know something like that :)

Artist nowadays

Hello there everyone!!!

It's the lovable dudemofoable with my first blog post. I hope you peeps will be entertained with the blogs that I'll be posting. So enough of that lets start!!!

   First off I just want to say to those that are reading this in the morning is: GOOD MORNING!!! If you woke up in a bad mood, don't be!!! The day has just started!!!!

   To those people reading this at night I want to make sure you all had a great day and ready to sleep BUT NOT YET!!! read my blog first okay? :)

Okay so on to the topic........I'm pretty much already tired of people saying that "Snoop dog makes crappy music now" or "Man 50 cent and Eminem are horrible now!" now before you stop reading this I just want to point out that I'm not a big fan of them, in fact I rarely listen to them but I just want to enlighten people on this topic. The artists that I've mentioned (and many more) aren't bad artists, it's just that the popular genre has changed.

Lets go back to when Snoop Dog came out with his first cd (yeah I know there were earlier artists but thats beside the point.) The reason why it was such a great cd was because it was a new genre, gangsta rap. This was the first time people that weren't living "in the hood" or in Compton were able to listen to something different and it attracted them. In a lot of cases, it was the first time people heard of the "gangsta ways" and to most people it was awesome!

Now when it comes to "they have nothing else to write about now" does play a role with the songs that comes out now, but it's not the sole problem. These older artists sort of have to accommodate with the new "popular genre" and so they release these new songs with the newer artists to get radio play, sell cd's, and get paid because ultimately, it's a business. To the people who listened to the older artists when they first started and listen to them now, they don't like them because they had to change their style just a little bit.

If you actually listen to the lyrics, most of the lyrics are pretty similar to their older counter-parts, the only difference that I see is the style of music or rather the beat that has changed in order for the new-comers of listeners will like their music as well.

So I hope I enlighten you in some way and I just want to say to everyone:

   Don't take things too seriously!!! Also don't take things to heart. Laugh as much as you can and always be optimistic because you only have one life and it isn't something you should waste away.
