I know a lot of women. I work with them. I talk with them. They call my radio program by the hundreds. Every time I go to an event there they are: Women. I also have a mother, a sister, a wife, and a daughter. In my 35 years I have spent more time with women than I have with men. So, that pretty much makes me an expert (self-proclaimed.)

The one thing I’ve noticed about women is that a ton of them date guys who are deadbeats, douche bags, and d—ks! A lot of women date men who make them miserable. They are miserable in their relationships and the men they are with don’t seem to care. In many instances, the men often seem to take pleasure in making their women miserable, like it’s some kind of vicious psychological sport. Once they have the woman hooked they reel her in just a little bit, just enough to keep her on the hook. Unlike a fish, however, women want nothing more than to be in the boat. They want the guy to catch them, bring them aboard, and live happily every after. Oh, and they want a big damn rock on their fin.

The problem is, most guys don’t want the fish. The just like to hang out with their buddies and drink beer. So they reel the fish in, show her off to the other douche bags on the boat, take a couple of pictures and drop her back in the water. But sometimes, the guys get cruel. Instead of letting the fish off the hook, they put her back in the water with the hook still in her mouth. They let her swim after them, hoping that one day she will get in that boat for good. Every now and then when she gives up hope and starts to swim away, those mean old dudes reel her in just a little. They tug the line just enough to keep her interested. They may even grab the reel handle and give it a twist or two. Again, not enough to get the fish in the boat, but just enough to keep her from putting some other guys worm in her mouth.

Some guys are really bad. They have more than one line in the water at the same time. They’ve got one fish hooked on the bow and they’ve got another hooked at the stern. Meanwhile, they’ve got two more lines off port and starboard just waiting to hook a couple more. (After all, there are plenty of fish in the sea, you know.)

So, after living and working with so many women over the years and seeing them struggle to get in the proverbial “boat,” I have formulated some opinions…excuse me, EXPERT opinions about women and the men that they date. In fact, if a woman feels that she is in a relationship with a guy who is “stringing her along” and she doesn’t know if they have a future, I can give her sensible and well-thought out advice after conversing with her for just a few short moments. And, 99% of the time my expert conclusion is ALWAYS the same:

Dump That Dude!

Tough love from a guy who barely knows you? Maybe. But most likely, it’s the best relationship advice you’ll ever get!
